97:1Jehovah reigneth: let the earth be glad, let the many isles rejoice.

97:2Clouds and darkness are round about him; righteousness and judgment are the foundation of his throne.

97:3A fire goeth before him, and burneth up his adversaries round about.

97:4His lightnings lightened the world: the earth saw, and trembled.

97:5The mountains melted like wax at the presence of Jehovah, at the presence of the Lord of the whole earth.

97:6The heavens declare his righteousness, and all the peoples see his glory.

97:7Ashamed be all they that serve graven images, that boast themselves of idols. Worship him, all ye gods.

97:8Zion heard, and rejoiced; and the daughters of Judah were glad, because of thy judgments, O Jehovah.

97:9For thou, Jehovah, art the Most High above all the earth; thou art exalted exceedingly above all gods.

97:10Ye that love Jehovah, hate evil: he preserveth the souls of his saints, he delivereth them out of the hand of the wicked.

97:11Light is sown for the righteous, and joy for the upright in heart.

97:12Rejoice in Jehovah, ye righteous; and give thanks in remembrance of his holiness.

98:0A Psalm.

98:1Sing ye unto Jehovah a new song: for he hath done wondrous things; his right hand and his holy arm hath wrought salvation for him.

98:2Jehovah hath made known his salvation: his righteousness hath he openly shewed in the sight of the nations.

98:3He hath remembered his loving-kindness and his faithfulness toward the house of Israel: all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.

98:4Shout aloud unto Jehovah, all the earth; break forth and shout for joy, and sing psalms.

98:5Sing psalms unto Jehovah with the harp: with the harp, and the voice of a song;

98:6With trumpets and sound of cornet, make a joyful noise before the King, Jehovah.

98:7Let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein;

98:8Let the floods clap their hands; let the mountains sing for joy together,

98:9Before Jehovah, for he cometh to judge the earth: he will judge the world with righteousness, and the peoples with equity.

99:1Jehovah reigneth: let the peoples tremble. He sitteth between the cherubim: let the earth be moved.

99:2Jehovah is great in Zion, and he is high above all the peoples.

99:3They shall praise thy great and terrible name, -- it is holy! --

99:4And the strength of the king that loveth justice. *Thou* hast established equity: it is thou that executest judgment and righteousness in Jacob.

99:5Exalt Jehovah our God, and worship at his footstool. He is holy!

99:6Moses and Aaron among his priests, and Samuel among them that call upon his name: they called unto Jehovah, and *he* answered them.

99:7He spoke unto them in the pillar of cloud: they kept his testimonies, and the statute that he gave them.

99:8Jehovah, our God, *thou* answeredst them: a forgiving *God wast thou unto them, though thou tookest vengeance of their doings.

99:9Exalt Jehovah our God, and worship at the hill of his holiness; for holy is Jehovah our God.
