THE HOLY BIBLE Young's Literal

Psalms (Author Moses, David, Solomon, Asaph, Heman, Ethan, sons of Korah, compiled by Ezra)

103:1Bless, O my soul, Jehovah, And all my inward parts -- His Holy Name.

103:2Bless, O my soul, Jehovah, And forget not all His benefits,

103:3Who is forgiving all thine iniquities, Who is healing all thy diseases,

103:4Who is redeeming from destruction thy life, Who is crowning thee -- kindness and mercies,

103:5Who is satisfying with good thy desire, Renew itself as an eagle doth thy youth.

103:6Jehovah is doing righteousness and judgments For all the oppressed.

103:7He maketh known His ways to Moses, To the sons of Israel His acts.

103:8Merciful and gracious is Jehovah, Slow to anger, and abundant in mercy.

103:9Not for ever doth He strive, Nor to the age doth He watch.

103:10Not according to our sins hath He done to us, Nor according to our iniquities Hath He conferred benefits upon us.

103:11For, as the height of the heavens is above the earth, His kindness hath been mighty over those fearing Him.

103:12As the distance of east from west He hath put far from us our transgressions.

103:13As a father hath mercy on sons, Jehovah hath mercy on those fearing Him.

103:14For He hath known our frame, Remembering that we are dust.

103:15Mortal man! as grass are his days, As a flower of the field so he flourisheth;

103:16For a wind hath passed over it, and it is not, And its place doth not discern it any more.

103:17And the kindness of Jehovah Is from age even unto age on those fearing Him, And His righteousness to sons' sons,

103:18To those keeping His covenant, And to those remembering His precepts to do them.

103:19Jehovah in the heavens Hath established His throne, And His kingdom over all hath ruled.

103:20Bless Jehovah, ye His messengers, Mighty in power -- doing His word, To hearken to the voice of His Word.

103:21Bless Jehovah, all ye His hosts, His ministers -- doing His pleasure.

103:22Bless Jehovah, all ye His works, In all places of His dominion. Bless, O my soul, Jehovah!

104:1Bless, O my soul, Jehovah! Jehovah, my God, Thou hast been very great, Honour and majesty Thou hast put on.

104:2Covering himself with light as a garment, Stretching out the heavens as a curtain,

104:3Who is laying the beam of His upper chambers in the waters, Who is making thick clouds His chariot, Who is walking on wings of wind,

104:4Making His messengers -- the winds, His ministers -- the flaming fire.

104:5He hath founded earth on its bases, It is not moved to the age and for ever.

104:6The abyss! as with clothing Thou hast covered it, Above hills do waters stand.

104:7From Thy rebuke they flee, From the voice of Thy thunder haste away.

104:8They go up hills -- they go down valleys, Unto a place Thou hast founded for them.

104:9A border Thou hast set, they pass not over, They turn not back to cover the earth.

104:10Who is sending forth fountains in valleys, Between hills they go on.

104:11They water every beast of the field, Wild asses break their thirst.

104:12By them the fowl of the heavens doth dwell, From between the branches They give forth the voice.

104:13Watering hills from His upper chambers, From the fruit of Thy works is the earth satisfied.

104:14Causing grass to spring up for cattle, And herb for the service of man, To bring forth bread from the earth,

104:15And wine -- it rejoiceth the heart of man, To cause the face to shine from oil, And bread -- the heart of man it supporteth.

104:16Satisfied are the trees of Jehovah, Cedars of Lebanon that He hath planted,

104:17Where birds do make nests, The stork -- the firs are her house.

104:18The high hills are for wild goats, Rocks are a refuge for conies,

104:19He made the moon for seasons, The sun hath known his place of entrance.

104:20Thou settest darkness, and it is night, In it doth every beast of the forest creep.

104:21The young lions are roaring for prey, And to seek from God their food.

104:22The sun riseth, they are gathered, And in their dens they crouch.

104:23Man goeth forth to his work, And to his service -- till evening.

104:24How many have been Thy works, O Jehovah, All of them in wisdom Thou hast made, Full is the earth of thy possessions.

104:25This, the sea, great and broad of sides, There are moving things -- innumerable, Living creatures -- small with great.

104:26There do ships go: leviathan, That Thou hast formed to play in it.

104:27All of them unto Thee do look, To give their food in its season.

104:28Thou dost give to them -- they gather, Thou dost open Thy hand -- they are satisfied with good.

104:29Thou hidest Thy face -- they are troubled, Thou gatherest their spirit -- they expire, And unto their dust they turn back.

104:30Thou sendest out Thy Spirit, they are created, And Thou renewest the face of the ground.

104:31The honour of Jehovah is to the age, Jehovah rejoiceth in His works,

104:32Who is looking to earth, and it trembleth, He cometh against hills, and they smoke.

104:33I sing to Jehovah during my life, I sing praise to my God while I exist.

104:34Sweet is my meditation on Him, I -- I do rejoice in Jehovah.

104:35Consumed are sinners from the earth, And the wicked are no more. Bless, O my soul, Jehovah. Praise ye Jehovah!

105:3Boast yourselves in His Holy Name, The heart of those seeking Jehovah rejoiceth.

105:4Seek ye Jehovah and His strength, Seek ye His face continually.

105:5Remember His wonders that He did, His signs and the judgments of His mouth.

105:6O seed of Abraham, His servant, O sons of Jacob, His chosen ones.

105:7He is Jehovah our God, In all the earth are His judgments.

105:8He hath remembered to the age His covenant, The word He commanded to a thousand generations,

105:9That He hath made with Abraham, And His oath to Isaac,

105:10And doth establish it to Jacob for a statute, To Israel -- a covenant age-during,

105:11Saying, `To thee I give the land of Canaan, The portion of your inheritance,'

105:12In their being few in number, But a few, and sojourners in it.

105:13And they go up and down, from nation unto nation, From a kingdom unto another people.

105:14He hath not suffered any to oppress them And He reproveth for their sakes kings.

105:17He hath sent before them a man, For a servant hath Joseph been sold.

105:19Till the time of the coming of His word The saying of Jehovah hath tried him.

105:20The king hath sent, and looseth him, The ruler of the peoples, and draweth him out.

105:22To bind his chiefs at his pleasure, And his elders he maketh wise.

105:23And Israel cometh in to Egypt, And Jacob hath sojourned in the land of Ham.

105:24And He maketh His people very fruitful, And maketh it mightier than its adversaries.

105:25He turned their heart to hate His people, To conspire against His servants.

105:26He hath sent Moses His servant, Aaron whom He had fixed on.

105:27They have set among them the matters of His signs, And wonders in the land of Ham.

105:28He hath sent darkness, and it is dark, And they have not provoked His word.

105:29He hath turned their waters to blood, And putteth to death their fish.

105:30Teemed hath their land with frogs, In the inner chambers of their kings.

105:31He hath said, and the beetle cometh, Lice into all their border.

105:32He hath made their showers hail, A flaming fire is in their land.

105:33And He smiteth their vine and their fig, And shivereth the trees of their border.

105:34He hath said, and the locust cometh, And the cankerworm -- innumerable,

105:35And it consumeth every herb in their land, And it consumeth the fruit of their ground.

105:41He hath opened a rock, and waters issue, They have gone on in dry places -- a river.

105:42For He hath remembered His holy word, With Abraham His servant,

105:43And He bringeth forth His people with joy, With singing His chosen ones.

105:44And He giveth to them the lands of nations, And the labour of peoples they possess,

105:45That they may observe His statutes, And His laws may keep. Praise ye Jehovah!
