1:2And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
4:15Take ye therefore good heed unto yourselves; for ye saw no manner of similitude on the day that the LORD spake unto you in Horeb out of the midst of the fire:
4:16Lest ye corrupt yourselves, and make you a graven image, the similitude of any figure, the likeness of male or female,
4:17The likeness of any beast that is on the earth, the likeness of any winged fowl that flieth in the air,
4:18The likeness of any thing that creepeth on the ground, the likeness of any fish that is in the waters beneath the earth:
4:19And lest thou lift up thine eyes unto heaven, and when thou seest the sun, and the moon, and the stars, even all the host of heaven, shouldest be driven to worship them, and serve them, which the LORD thy God hath divided unto all nations under the whole heaven.
139:7Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence?
60:1Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee.
37:14And shall put my spirit in you, and ye shall live, and I shall place you in your own land: then shall ye know that I the LORD have spoken it, and performed it, saith the LORD.
39:29Neither will I hide my face any more from them: for I have poured out my spirit upon the house of Israel, saith the Lord GOD.
2:28And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:
2:29And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit.
4:24God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
17:28For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.
12:9Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live?
8:9But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
8:15For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
8:16The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:
2:11For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.
3:17Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.
