32:29And Jacob asked him, and said, Tell me, I pray thee, thy name. And he said, Wherefore is it that thou dost ask after my name? And he blessed him there.
29:29The secret things belong unto the LORD our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law.
13:18And the angel of the LORD said unto him, Why askest thou thus after my name, seeing it is secret?
8:12Then spake Solomon, The LORD said that he would dwell in the thick darkness.
8:27But will God indeed dwell on the earth? behold, the heaven and heaven of heavens cannot contain thee; how much less this house that I have builded?
2:6But who is able to build him an house, seeing the heaven and heaven of heavens cannot contain him? who am I then, that I should build him an house, save only to burn sacrifice before him?
6:1Then said Solomon, The LORD hath said that he would dwell in the thick darkness.
6:18But will God in very deed dwell with men on the earth? behold, heaven and the heaven of heavens cannot contain thee; how much less this house which I have built!
5:8I would seek unto God, and unto God would I commit my cause:
5:9Which doeth great things and unsearchable; marvellous things without number:
9:10Which doeth great things past finding out; yea, and wonders without number.
11:7Canst thou by searching find out God? canst thou find out the Almighty unto perfection?
11:8It is as high as heaven; what canst thou do? deeper than hell; what canst thou know?
11:9The measure thereof is longer than the earth, and broader than the sea.
26:9He holdeth back the face of his throne, and spreadeth his cloud upon it.
26:14Lo, these are parts of his ways: but how little a portion is heard of him? but the thunder of his power who can understand?
36:26Behold, God is great, and we know him not, neither can the number of his years be searched out.
37:5God thundereth marvellously with his voice; great things doeth he, which we cannot comprehend.
37:23Touching the Almighty, we cannot find him out: he is excellent in power, and in judgment, and in plenty of justice: he will not afflict.
77:19Thy way is in the sea, and thy path in the great waters, and thy footsteps are not known.
92:5O LORD, how great are thy works! and thy thoughts are very deep.
97:2Clouds and darkness are round about him: righteousness and judgment are the habitation of his throne.
139:6Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high, I cannot attain unto it.
145:3Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable.
25:2It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honour of kings is to search out a matter.
30:4Who hath ascended up into heaven, or descended? who hath gathered the wind in his fists? who hath bound the waters in a garment? who hath established all the ends of the earth? what is his name, and what is his son's name, if thou canst tell?
3:11He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end.
7:24That which is far off, and exceeding deep, who can find it out?
11:5As thou knowest not what is the way of the spirit, nor how the bones do grow in the womb of her that is with child: even so thou knowest not the works of God who maketh all.
40:28Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding.
45:15Verily thou art a God that hidest thyself, O God of Israel, the Saviour.
55:8For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.
55:9For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
23:24Can any hide himself in secret places that I shall not see him? saith the LORD. Do not I fill heaven and earth? saith the LORD.
1:3The LORD is slow to anger, and great in power, and will not at all acquit the wicked: the LORD hath his way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet.
11:27All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him.
11:33O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out!
11:34For who hath known the mind of the Lord? or who hath been his counsellor?
2:10But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.
2:11For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.
2:16For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.
3:8Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ;
