3:25Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;
3:26To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.
2:17Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people.
2:2And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.
4:10Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
