- Jehovah do so and much more to Jonathan. Should it please my father to do thee evil, then I will apprise thee of it, and send thee away, that thou mayest go in peace; and Jehovah be with thee, as he has been with my father. 1 Sam. 20:13

- and now, what have I here, saith Jehovah, that my people hath been taken away for nought? They that rule over them make them to howl, saith Jehovah; and continually all the day is my name scorned. Isa. 52:5
- The righteous perisheth, and no man layeth it to heart; and merciful men are taken away, none considering that the righteous is taken away from before the evil. Isa. 57:1

- -- a wild ass, used to the wilderness, that snuffeth up the wind in her desire! In her ardour, who shall turn her away? All they that seek her will not weary themselves; in her month they shall find her. Jer. 2:24

- And as for me, I said, How shall I put thee among the children, and give thee the pleasant land, the goodly inheritance of the hosts of the nations? And I said, Thou shalt call me, My father; and shalt not turn away from following me. Jer. 3:19
- If thou wilt return, O Israel, saith Jehovah, return unto me; and if thou wilt put away thine abominations out of my sight, then shalt thou not be a wanderer; Jer. 4:1
- Circumcise yourselves for Jehovah, and take away the foreskins of your heart, ye men of Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem; lest my fury come forth like fire and burn, and there be none to quench it, because of the evil of your doings. Jer. 4:4
- For this, gird you with sackcloth, lament and howl! for the fierce anger of Jehovah is not turned away from us. Jer. 4:8

- Shall evil be recompensed for good? For they have digged a pit for my soul. Remember how I stood before thee to speak good for them, to turn away thy wrath from them. Jer. 18:20
- Weep not for the dead, neither bemoan him; but weep sore for him that goeth away, for he shall return no more, nor see his native country. Jer. 22:10
- Therefore thus saith Jehovah the God of Israel concerning the shepherds that feed my people: Ye have scattered my flock, and driven them away, and have not visited them: behold, I will visit upon you the evil of your doings, saith Jehovah. Jer. 23:2
- Jehovah shewed me, and behold, two baskets of figs, set before the temple of Jehovah, after that Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon had carried away captive from Jerusalem, Jeconiah the son of Jehoiakim, the king of Judah, and the princes of Judah, and the craftsmen and smiths, and had brought them to Babylon. Jer. 24:1
- Thus saith Jehovah, the God of Israel: Like these good figs, so will I regard for good them that are carried away captive of Judah, whom I have sent out of this place into the land of the Chaldeans; Jer. 24:5
- which Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon took not, when he carried away captive Jeconiah the son of Jehoiakim, the king of Judah, from Jerusalem to Babylon, along with all the nobles of Judah and Jerusalem; Jer. 27:20
- Within two full years will I bring again into this place all the vessels of Jehovah's house, that Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon took away from this place, and carried to Babylon; Jer. 28:3
- And these are the words of the letter that the prophet Jeremiah sent from Jerusalem to the residue of the elders of the captivity, and to the priests, and to the prophets, and to all the people whom Nebuchadnezzar had carried away captive from Jerusalem to Babylon Jer. 29:1
- Thus saith Jehovah of hosts, the God of Israel, unto all the captivity, whom I have caused to be carried away from Jerusalem unto Babylon: Jer. 29:4
- And seek the peace of the city whither I have caused you to be carried away captive, and pray unto Jehovah for it: for in the peace thereof shall ye have peace. Jer. 29:7
- and I will be found of you, saith Jehovah. And I will turn your captivity, and I will gather you from all the nations, and from all the places whither I have driven you, saith Jehovah; and I will bring you again into the place whence I have caused you to be carried away captive. Jer. 29:14
- then will I also cast away the seed of Jacob, and of David my servant, so as not to take of his seed to be rulers over the seed of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob: for I will turn their captivity, and will have mercy on them. Jer. 33:26
- Thus saith Jehovah: Deceive not yourselves, saying, The Chaldeans are certainly gone away from us; for they are not gone. Jer. 37:9
- Behold, all the women that are left in the king of Judah's house shall be brought forth to the king of Babylon's princes; and they shall say, Thy familiar friends have set thee on, and have prevailed over thee; thy feet are sunk in the mire, they are turned away back. Jer. 38:22
- And Nebuzar-adan the captain of the body-guard carried away captive into Babylon the rest of the people that were left in the city, and the deserters that had deserted to him, with the rest of the people that were left. Jer. 39:9
- even they sent, and took Jeremiah out of the court of the guard and committed him to Gedaliah the son of Ahikam the son of Shaphan, that he should conduct him away home. And he dwelt among the people. Jer. 39:14
- The word that came to Jeremiah from Jehovah, after that Nebuzar-adan the captain of the body-guard had let him go from Ramah, when he had taken him, being bound in chains, among all the captivity of Jerusalem and Judah, that were carried away captive to Babylon. Jer. 40:1
- And all the captains of the forces that were in the fields, they and their men, heard that the king of Babylon had appointed Gedaliah the son of Ahikam over the land, and had committed unto him men, and women, and children, and of the poor of the land, of them that had not been carried away captive to Babylon. Jer. 40:7
- And Ishmael carried away captive all the remnant of the people that were in Mizpah, the king's daughters, and all the people that remained in Mizpah, whom Nebuzar-adan the captain of the body-guard had committed to Gedaliah the son of Ahikam: Ishmael the son of Nethaniah carried them away captive, and departed to go over to the children of Ammon. Jer. 41:10
- And all the people that Ishmael had carried away captive from Mizpah turned about and came back, and went to Johanan the son of Kareah. Jer. 41:14
- but Baruch the son of Nerijah is setting thee on against us, to deliver us into the hand of the Chaldeans, that they may put us to death, and carry us away captives into Babylon. Jer. 43:3
- And I will kindle a fire in the houses of the gods of Egypt, and he shall burn them, and carry them away captive; and he shall array himself with the land of Egypt, as a shepherd putteth on his garment; and he shall go forth from thence in peace. Jer. 43:12

- Give wings unto Moab, that she may flee and get away; and the cities thereof shall become a desolation, without inhabitant. Jer. 48:9
- And joy and gladness is taken away from the fruitful field and from the land of Moab; and I have caused wine to fail from the winepresses: they shall no more tread with shouting; the shouting shall be no shouting. Jer. 48:33
- Woe to thee, Moab! The people of Chemosh is undone; for thy sons are taken away in captivity, and thy daughters are captives. Jer. 48:46
- Behold, he shall come up like a lion from the swelling of the Jordan against the strong habitation; for I will make them suddenly run away from it; and who is a chosen man whom I shall appoint over her? For who is like me? and who will assign me a time? and who is that shepherd that will stand before me? Jer. 49:19
- Therefore hear the counsel of Jehovah, which he hath taken against Edom, and his purposes which he hath purposed against the inhabitants of Teman: The little ones of the flock shall certainly draw them away; he shall certainly make their habitation desolate for them. Jer. 49:20
- Concerning Damascus. Hamath is put to shame, and Arpad; for they have heard evil tidings, they are melted away: there is distress on the sea; it cannot be quiet. Jer. 49:23
- Their tents and their flocks shall they take; their curtains and all their vessels, and their camels, shall they carry away for themselves; and they shall cry unto them, Terror on every side! Jer. 49:29
- My people are lost sheep; their shepherds have caused them to go astray, they turned them away on the mountains: they went from mountain to hill, they forgot their resting-place. Jer. 50:6

- The pots also, and the shovels, and the knives, and the bowls, and the cups, and all the vessels of brass wherewith they ministered, they took away. Jer. 52:18
- And the basons and the censers, and the bowls, and the pots, and the candlesticks, and the cups, and the goblets, that which was of gold in gold, and that which was of silver in silver, the captain of the body-guard took away. Jer. 52:19
- and the king of Babylon smote them, and put them to death at Riblah in the land of Hamath. Thus Judah was carried away captive out of his land. Jer. 52:27
- This is the people whom Nebuchadrezzar carried away captive: in the seventh year three thousand and twenty-three Jews; Jer. 52:28
- in the eighteenth year of Nebuchadrezzar he carried away captive from Jerusalem eight hundred and thirty-two persons; Jer. 52:29

- In that day thou shalt not be ashamed for all thy doings wherein thou hast transgressed against me; for then I will take away out of the midst of thee them that exult in thy pride, and thou shalt no more be haughty because of my holy mountain. Zeph. 3:11
- Jehovah hath taken away thy judgments, he hath cast out thine enemy; the King of Israel, Jehovah, is in the midst of thee; thou shalt not see evil any more. Zeph. 3:15
- And he spoke and said unto those that stood before him, saying, Take away the filthy garments from off him. And unto him he said, See, I have caused thine iniquity to pass from thee, and I clothe thee with festival-robes. Zech. 3:4
- and I will take away his blood out of his mouth, and his abominations from between his teeth; but he that remaineth, he also shall belong to our God, and shall be as a leader in Judah, and Ekron as a Jebusite. Zech. 9:7
- For the teraphim have spoken vanity, and the diviners have seen a lie, and have told false dreams: they comfort in vain. Therefore they have gone away as a flock, they are in distress, because there is no shepherd. Zech. 10:2
- And he shall pass through the sea of affliction, and shall smite the billows in the sea, and all the depths of the Nile shall dry up; and the pride of Assyria shall be brought down, and the sceptre of Egypt shall depart away. Zech. 10:11
- For behold, I will raise up a shepherd in the land, who shall not visit those that are about to perish, neither shall seek that which is strayed away, nor heal that which is wounded, nor feed that which is sound; but he will eat the flesh of the fat, and tear their hoofs in pieces. Zech. 11:16
- And this shall be the plague wherewith Jehovah will smite all the peoples that have warred against Jerusalem: their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth. Zech. 14:12
- Behold, I will rebuke your seed, and spread dung upon your faces, the dung of your feasts; and they shall take you away with it. Mal. 2:3

- But Joseph, her husband, being a righteous man, and unwilling to expose her publicly, purposed to have put her away secretly; Mt. 1:19
- but having heard that 'Archelaus reigns over Judaea, instead of Herod his father,' he was afraid to go there; and having been divinely instructed in a dream, he went away into the parts of Galilee, Mt. 2:22
- Then says Jesus to him, Get thee away, Satan, for it is written, Thou shalt do homage to the Lord thy God, and him alone shalt thou serve. Mt. 4:10
- For verily I say unto you, Until the heaven and the earth pass away, one iota or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law till all come to pass. Mt. 5:18
- Whosoever then shall do away with one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of the heavens; but whosoever shall practise and teach them, *he* shall be called great in the kingdom of the heavens. Mt. 5:19
- It has been said too, Whosoever shall put away his wife, let him give her a letter of divorce. Mt. 5:31
- But *I* say unto you, that whosoever shall put away his wife, except for cause of fornication, makes her commit adultery, and whosoever marries one that is put away commits adultery. Mt. 5:32
- To him that asks of thee give, and from him that desires to borrow of thee turn not away. Mt. 5:42
- But another of his disciples said to him, Lord, suffer me first to go away and bury my father. Mt. 8:21
- and the demons besought him, saying, If thou cast us out, send us away into the herd of swine. Mt. 8:31
- But they that fed them fled, and went away into the city and related everything, and what had happened as to those possessed by demons. Mt. 8:33
- And behold, the whole city went out to meet Jesus; and when they saw him, they begged him to go away out of their coasts. Mt. 8:34
- And Jesus said to them, Can the sons of the bridechamber mourn so long as the bridegroom is with them? But days will come when the bridegroom will have been taken away from them, and then they will fast. Mt. 9:15
- But when he saw the crowds he was moved with compassion for them, because they were harassed, and cast away as sheep not having a shepherd. Mt. 9:36
- But as they went away, Jesus began to say to the crowds concerning John, What went ye out into the wilderness to see? a reed moved about by the wind? Mt. 11:7
- And, going away from thence, he came into their synagogue. Mt. 12:9
- for whoever has, to him shall be given, and he shall be caused to be in abundance; but he who has not, even what he has shall be taken away from him. Mt. 13:12
- From every one who hears the word of the kingdom and does not understand it, the wicked one comes and catches away what was sown in his heart: this is he that is sown by the wayside. Mt. 13:19
- but while men slept, his enemy came and sowed darnel amongst the wheat, and went away. Mt. 13:25
- And Jesus, having heard it, went away thence by ship to a desert place apart. And the crowds having heard of it followed him on foot from the cities. Mt. 14:13
- This people honour me with the lips, but their heart is far away from me; Mt. 15:8

- But Jesus, having called his disciples to him, said, I have compassion on the crowd, because they have stayed with me already three days and they have not anything they can eat, and I would not send them away fasting lest they should faint on the way. Mt. 15:32
- A wicked and adulterous generation seeks after a sign, and a sign shall not be given to it save the sign of Jonas. And he left them and went away. Mt. 16:4
- From that time Jesus began to shew to his disciples that he must go away to Jerusalem, and suffer many things from the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and the third day be raised. Mt. 16:21
- But turning round, he said to Peter, Get away behind me, Satan; thou art an offence to me, for thy mind is not on the things that are of God, but on the things that are of men. Mt. 16:23
- But he would not, but went away and cast him into prison, until he should pay what was owing. Mt. 18:30
- And the Pharisees came to him tempting him, and saying, Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife for every cause? Mt. 19:3
- They say to him, Why then did Moses command to give a letter of divorce and to send her away? Mt. 19:7
- He says to them, Moses, in view of your hardheartedness, allowed you to put away your wives; but from the beginning it was not thus. Mt. 19:8
- But I say unto you, that whosoever shall put away his wife, not for fornication, and shall marry another, commits adultery; and he who marries one put away commits adultery. Mt. 19:9
- But the young man, having heard the word, went away grieved, for he had large possessions. Mt. 19:22
- And Jesus answering said to them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and do not doubt, not only shall ye do what is done to the fig-tree, but even if ye should say to this mountain, Be thou taken away and be thou cast into the sea, it shall come to pass. Mt. 21:21
- Then said the king to the servants, Bind him feet and hands, and take him away, and cast him out into the outer darkness: there shall be the weeping and the gnashing of teeth. Mt. 22:13
- And when they heard him, they wondered, and left him, and went away. Mt. 22:22
- And Jesus went forth and went away from the temple, and his disciples came to him to point out to him the buildings of the temple. Mt. 24:1
- Verily I say to you, This generation will not have passed away until all these things shall have taken place. Mt. 24:34

- and they knew not till the flood came and took all away; thus also shall be the coming of the Son of man. Mt. 24:39
- But as they went away to buy, the bridegroom came, and the ones that were ready went in with him to the wedding feast, and the door was shut. Mt. 25:10
- For it is as if a man going away out of a country called his own bondmen and delivered to them his substance. Mt. 25:14
- And to one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to each according to his particular ability, and immediately went away out of the country. Mt. 25:15
- and being afraid I went away and hid thy talent in the earth; behold, thou hast that which is thine. Mt. 25:25
- And these shall go away into eternal punishment, and the righteous into life eternal. Mt. 25:46
- Then Jesus comes with them to a place called Gethsemane, and says to the disciples, Sit here until I go away and pray yonder. Mt. 26:36
- Again going away a second time he prayed saying, My Father, if this cannot pass from me unless I drink it, thy will be done. Mt. 26:42
- And leaving them, he went away again and prayed the third time, saying the same thing. Mt. 26:44
- Now they that had seized Jesus led him away to Caiaphas the high priest, where the scribes and the elders were assembled. Mt. 26:57
- And having bound him they led him away, and delivered him up to Pontius Pilate, the governor. Mt. 27:2
- And having cast down the pieces of silver in the temple, he left the place, and went away and hanged himself. Mt. 27:5
- And when they had mocked him, they took the cloak off him, and put his own clothes on him, and led him away to crucify. Mt. 27:31
- and laid it in his new tomb which he had hewn in the rock; and having rolled a great stone to the door of the tomb, went away. Mt. 27:60
- Command therefore that the sepulchre be secured until the third day, lest his disciples should come and steal him away, and say to the people, He is risen from the dead; and the last error shall be worse than the first. Mt. 27:64
- And behold, there was a great earthquake; for an angel of the Lord, descending out of heaven, came and rolled away the stone and sat upon it. Mt. 28:2
- and straightway he called them; and leaving their father Zebedee in the ship with the hired servants, they went away after him. Mk. 1:20
- And rising in the morning long before day, he went out and went away into a desert place, and there prayed. Mk. 1:35
- And having sharply charged him, he straightway sent him away, Mk. 1:43

- And he rose up and went away thence into the borders of Tyre and Sidon; and having entered into a house he would not have any one know it, and he could not be hid. Mk. 7:24
- And having gone away to her house she found the demon gone out, and her daughter lying on the bed. Mk. 7:30

- And, going forward a little, he fell upon the earth; and he prayed that, if it were possible, the hour might pass away from him. Mk. 14:35
- And he said, Abba, Father, all things are possible to thee: take away this cup from me; but not what *I* will, but what *thou* wilt. Mk. 14:36
- And going away, he prayed again, saying the same thing. Mk. 14:39
- Now he that delivered him up had given them a sign between them, saying, Whomsoever I shall kiss, that is he; seize him, and lead him away safely. Mk. 14:44
- And they led away Jesus to the high priest. And there come together to him all the chief priests and the elders and the scribes. Mk. 14:53
- And immediately in the morning the chief priests, having taken counsel with the elders and scribes and the whole sanhedrim, bound Jesus and carried him away, and delivered him up to Pilate. Mk. 15:1
- And the soldiers led him away into the court which is called the praetorium, and they call together the whole band. Mk. 15:16
- And they said to one another, Who shall roll us away the stone out of the door of the sepulchre? Mk. 16:3
- And when they looked, they see that the stone has been rolled away, for it was very great. Mk. 16:4
- Thus has the Lord done to me in these days in which he looked upon me to take away my reproach among men. Lk. 1:25
- He has filled the hungry with good things, and sent away the rich empty. Lk. 1:53
- But days will come when also the bridegroom will have been taken away from them; then shall they fast in those days. Lk. 5:35
- To him that smites thee on the cheek, offer also the other; and from him that would take away thy garment, forbid not thy body-coat also. Lk. 6:29

- But those by the wayside are those who hear; then comes the devil and takes away the word from their heart that they may not believe and be saved. Lk. 8:12

- But that that fell where the thorns were, these are they who having heard go away and are choked under cares and riches and pleasures of life, and bring no fruit to perfection. Lk. 8:14
- And they besought him that he would not command them to go away into the bottomless pit. Lk. 8:31

- but when the stronger than he coming upon him overcomes him, he takes away his panoply in which he trusted, and he will divide the spoil he has taken from him. Lk. 11:22
- Woe unto you, the doctors of the law, for ye have taken away the key of knowledge; yourselves have not entered in, and those who were entering in ye have hindered. Lk. 11:52
- And he said, This will I do: I will take away my granaries and build greater, and there I will lay up all my produce and my good things; Lk. 12:18
- For as thou goest with thine adverse party before a magistrate, strive in the way to be reconciled with him, lest he drag thee away to the judge, and the judge shall deliver thee to the officer, and the officer cast thee into prison. Lk. 12:58
- The Lord therefore answered him and said, Hypocrites! does not each one of you on the sabbath loose his ox or his ass from the manger and leading it away, water it? Lk. 13:15
- And after not many days the younger son gathering all together went away into a country a long way off, and there dissipated his property, living in debauchery. Lk. 15:13
- But it is easier that the heaven and the earth should pass away than that one tittle of the law should fail. Lk. 16:17
- Every one who puts away his wife and marries another commits adultery; and every one that marries one put away from a husband commits adultery. Lk. 16:18
- And it came to pass that the poor man died, and that he was carried away by the angels into the bosom of Abraham. And the rich man also died and was buried. Lk. 16:22
- In that day, he who shall be on the housetop, and his stuff in the house, let him not go down to take it away; and he that is in the field, let him likewise not return back. Lk. 17:31
- And in the season he sent to the husbandmen a bondman, that they might give to him of the fruit of the vineyard; but the husbandmen, having beaten him, sent him away empty. Lk. 20:10

- Verily I say unto you, that this generation shall in no wise pass away until all come to pass. Lk. 21:32

- And he went away and spoke with the chief priests and captains as to how he should deliver him up to them. Lk. 22:4
- And he came to an agreement to do it, and sought an opportunity to deliver him up to them away from the crowd. Lk. 22:6
- And having laid hold on him, they led him away, and they led him into the house of the high priest. And Peter followed afar off. Lk. 22:54
- said to them, Ye have brought to me this man as turning away the people to rebellion, and behold, I, having examined him before you, have found nothing criminal in this man as to the things of which ye accuse him; Lk. 23:14
- But they cried out in a mass saying, Away with this man and release Barabbas to us; Lk. 23:18
- And as they led him away, they laid hold on a certain Simon, a Cyrenian, coming from the field, and put the cross upon him to bear it behind Jesus. Lk. 23:26
- And they found the stone rolled away from the sepulchre. Lk. 24:2
- But Peter, rising up, ran to the sepulchre, and stooping down he sees the linen clothes lying there alone, and went away home, wondering at what had happened. Lk. 24:12
- On the morrow he sees Jesus coming to him, and says, Behold the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world. Jn. 1:29
- he left Judaea and went away again unto Galilee. Jn. 4:3
- (for his disciples had gone away into the city that they might buy provisions). Jn. 4:8
- The woman then left her waterpot and went away into the city, and says to the men, Jn. 4:28
- But after the two days he went forth thence and went away into Galilee, Jn. 4:43
- But he that had been healed knew not who it was, for Jesus had slidden away, there being a crowd in the place. Jn. 5:13
- The man went away and told the Jews that it was Jesus who had made him well. Jn. 5:15
- After these things Jesus went away beyond the sea of Galilee, or of Tiberias, Jn. 6:1
- On the morrow the crowd which stood on the other side of the sea, having seen that there was no other little ship there except that into which his disciples had got, and that Jesus had not gone with his disciples into the ship, but that his disciples had gone away alone; Jn. 6:22
- From that time many of his disciples went away back and walked no more with him. Jn. 6:66
- Jesus therefore said to the twelve, Will ye also go away? Jn. 6:67
- He said therefore again to them, I go away, and ye shall seek me, and shall die in your sin; where I go ye cannot come. Jn. 8:21
- They sought therefore again to take him; and he went away from out of their hand Jn. 10:39
- And having said this, she went away and called her sister Mary secretly, saying, The teacher is come and calls thee. Jn. 11:28
- Jesus says, Take away the stone. Martha, the sister of the dead, says to him, Lord, he stinks already, for he is four days there. Jn. 11:39
- They took therefore the stone away. And Jesus lifted up his eyes on high and said, Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me; Jn. 11:41
- If we let him thus alone, all will believe on him, and the Romans will come and take away both our place and our nation. Jn. 11:48
- Jesus therefore walked no longer openly among the Jews, but went away thence into the country near the desert, to a city called Ephraim, and there he sojourned with the disciples. Jn. 11:54
- because many of the Jews went away on his account and believed on Jesus. Jn. 12:11
- While ye have the light, believe in the light, that ye may become sons of light. Jesus said these things, and going away hid himself from them. Jn. 12:36
- Ye have heard that I have said unto you, I go away and I am coming to you. If ye loved me ye would rejoice that I go to the Father, for my Father is greater than I. Jn. 14:28
- As to every branch in me not bearing fruit, he takes it away; and as to every one bearing fruit, he purges it that it may bring forth more fruit. Jn. 15:2
- But I say the truth to you, It is profitable for you that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Comforter will not come to you; but if I go I will send him to you. Jn. 16:7

- When therefore he said to them, I am he, they went away backward and fell to the ground. Jn. 18:6
- Jesus answered, I told you that I am he: if therefore ye seek me, let these go away; Jn. 18:8
- and they led him away to Annas first; for he was father-in-law to Caiaphas, who was high priest that year. Jn. 18:13
- But they cried out, Take him away, take him away, crucify him. Pilate says to them, Shall I crucify your king? The chief priests answered, We have no king but Caesar. Jn. 19:15
- Then therefore he delivered him up to them, that he might be crucified; and they took Jesus and led him away. Jn. 19:16
- The Jews therefore, that the bodies might not remain on the cross on the sabbath, for it was the preparation, (for the day of that sabbath was a great day,) demanded of Pilate that their legs might be broken and they taken away. Jn. 19:31
- And after these things Joseph of Arimathaea, who was a disciple of Jesus, but secretly through fear of the Jews, demanded of Pilate that he might take the body of Jesus: and Pilate allowed it. He came therefore and took away the body of Jesus. Jn. 19:38
- And on the first day of the week Mary of Magdala comes in early morn to the tomb, while it was still dark, and sees the stone taken away from the tomb. Jn. 20:1
- She runs therefore and comes to Simon Peter, and to the other disciple, to whom Jesus was attached, and says to them, They have taken away the Lord out of the tomb, and we know not where they have laid him. Jn. 20:2
- The disciples therefore went away again to their own home. Jn. 20:10
- And they say to her, Woman, why dost thou weep? She says to them, Because they have taken away my Lord, and I know not where they have laid him. Jn. 20:13
- Jesus says to her, Woman, why dost thou weep? Whom seekest thou? She, supposing that it was the gardener, says to him, Sir, if thou hast borne him hence, tell me where thou hast laid him, and I will take him away. Jn. 20:15
- After him rose Judas the Galilean in the days of the census, and drew away a number of people after him; and *he* perished, and all, as many as obeyed him, were scattered abroad. Acts 5:37
- And the patriarchs, envying Joseph, sold him away into Egypt. And God was with him, Acts 7:9
- But he that was wronging his neighbour thrust him away, saying, Who established thee ruler and judge over us? Acts 7:27
- In his humiliation his judgment has been taken away, and who shall declare his generation? for his life is taken from the earth. Acts 8:33
- But when they came up out of the water the Spirit of the Lord caught away Philip, and the eunuch saw him no longer, for he went on his way rejoicing. Acts 8:39

- because the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall shepherd them, and shall lead them to fountains of waters of life, and God shall wipe away every tear from their eyes. Rev. 7:17
