- For it is better, if the will of God should will it, to suffer as well-doers than as evildoers; 1 Pet. 3:17
- For if after having escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, again entangled, they are subdued by these, their last state is worse than the first. 2 Pet. 2:20
