- And Saul and his men went to seek him. And they told David; and he came down from the rock, and abode in the wilderness of Maon. And Saul heard that, and he pursued after David in the wilderness of Maon. 1 Sam. 23:25
- And Saul returned from pursuing after David, and went against the Philistines; therefore they called that place Sela-hammahlekoth. 1 Sam. 23:28
- David also arose afterwards, and went out of the cave, and cried after Saul, saying, My lord the king! And when Saul looked behind him, David bowed with his face to the earth, and did obeisance. 1 Sam. 24:8
- After whom is the king of Israel come out? after whom dost thou pursue? after a dead dog, after a single flea. 1 Sam. 24:14
- Swear now therefore to me by Jehovah, that thou wilt not cut off my seed after me, and that thou wilt not destroy my name out of my father's house. 1 Sam. 24:21
- And David said to his men, Gird ye on every man his sword. And they girded on every man his sword; and David also girded on his sword; and there went up after David about four hundred men; and two hundred abode by the baggage. 1 Sam. 25:13
- And she said to her young men, Go on before me; behold, I come after you. But she did not tell her husband Nabal. 1 Sam. 25:19
- And Abigail hasted, and arose, and rode upon an ass, with five damsels of hers that followed her; and she went after the messengers of David, and became his wife. 1 Sam. 25:42
- And Saul encamped in the hill of Hachilah, which faces the waste, by the way side. And David abode in the wilderness; and when he saw that Saul had come after him into the wilderness, 1 Sam. 26:3
- And he said, Why does my lord thus pursue after his servant? for what have I done? or what evil is in my hand? 1 Sam. 26:18
- And David inquired of Jehovah, saying, Shall I pursue after this troop? shall I overtake them? And he said to him, Pursue; for thou shalt assuredly overtake them and shalt certainly recover. 1 Sam. 30:8
- And it came to pass after the death of Saul, when David had returned from the slaughter of the Amalekites, that David abode two days in Ziklag. 2 Sam. 1:1
- And the young man that told him said, I happened by chance to be upon mount Gilboa, and behold, Saul leaned on his spear; and behold, the chariots and horsemen followed hard after him. 2 Sam. 1:6
- So I stood over him, and put him to death, for I knew that he would not live after his fall; and I took the crown that was upon his head, and the bracelet that was on his arm, and have brought them hither to my lord. 2 Sam. 1:10
- And it came to pass after this that David inquired of Jehovah, saying, Shall I go up into one of the cities of Judah? And Jehovah said to him, Go up. And David said, Whither shall I go up? And he said, Unto Hebron. 2 Sam. 2:1
- And Asahel pursued after Abner; and in going he turned not to the right hand nor to the left from behind Abner. 2 Sam. 2:19
- And Joab and Abishai pursued after Abner; and the sun went down when they came to the hill of Ammah, which is before Giah on the way to the wilderness of Gibeon. 2 Sam. 2:24
- And the children of Benjamin gathered themselves together after Abner, and became one troop, and stood on the top of a hill. 2 Sam. 2:25
- And Joab blew the trumpet, and all the people stood still, and pursued after Israel no more, neither did they fight any more. 2 Sam. 2:28
- And when Joab was come out from David, he sent messengers after Abner, who brought him again from the well of Sirah; but David did not know it. 2 Sam. 3:26

- And it came to pass after this, that Absalom the son of David having a beautiful sister, whose name was Tamar, Amnon the son of David loved her. 2 Sam. 13:1
- Then he called his young man that attended upon him, and said, Put now this woman out from me, and bolt the door after her. 2 Sam. 13:17
- Now she had a vest of many colours upon her; for so were the king's daughters that were virgins apparelled. And his attendant brought her out, and bolted the door after her. 2 Sam. 13:18
- And it came to pass after two full years, that Absalom had sheepshearers in Baal-Hazor, which is beside Ephraim; and Absalom invited all the king's sons. 2 Sam. 13:23
- and come to the king, and speak after this manner to him. And Joab put the words into her mouth. 2 Sam. 14:3
- And when he shaved his head (for it was at every year's end that he shaved it, because it was heavy on him, therefore he shaved it), he weighed the hair of his head at two hundred shekels after the king's weight. 2 Sam. 14:26
- And it came to pass after this, that Absalom prepared for himself chariots and horses, and fifty men to run before him. 2 Sam. 15:1
- And there came one to David who reported saying, The hearts of the men of Israel are after Absalom. 2 Sam. 15:13
- And the king went forth, and all his household after him, and the king left ten women, concubines, to keep the house. 2 Sam. 15:16
- And the king went forth, and all the people after him, and stayed at the remote house. 2 Sam. 15:17
- And all his servants passed on beside him; and all the Cherethites, and all the Pelethites, and all the Gittites, six hundred men that came after him from Gath, passed over before the king. 2 Sam. 15:18
- And Ahithophel said to Absalom, Let me, I pray, choose out twelve thousand men, and I will arise and pursue after David to-night; 2 Sam. 17:1
- And Hushai came to Absalom, and Absalom spoke to him saying, Ahithophel has spoken after this manner: shall we carry out his word? If not, speak thou. 2 Sam. 17:6
- And it came to pass after they had departed, that they came up out of the well, and went and told king David; and they said to David, Arise and pass quickly over the water; for thus has Ahithophel counselled against you. 2 Sam. 17:21
- And Joab blew the trumpet, and the people returned from pursuing after Israel; for Joab kept back the people. 2 Sam. 18:16
- Now Absalom in his lifetime had taken and reared up for himself a monument, which is in the king's dale; for he said, I have no son to keep my name in remembrance; and he called the monument after his own name; and it is called unto this day, Absalom's memorial. 2 Sam. 18:18
- And Ahimaaz the son of Zadok said yet again to Joab, Come what may, let me, I pray thee, also run after the Cushite. And Joab said, Why wilt thou run, my son, seeing that there is no news suited to thee? 2 Sam. 18:22
- Then all the men of Israel went up from after David, following Sheba the son of Bichri. But the men of Judah clave to their king, from the Jordan even to Jerusalem. 2 Sam. 20:2
- And David said to Abishai, Now shall Sheba the son of Bichri do us more harm than did Absalom. Take thou thy lord's servants, and pursue after him, lest he get him fortified cities and escape our sight. 2 Sam. 20:6
- And there went out after him Joab's men, and the Cherethites, and the Pelethites, and all the mighty men; and they went out of Jerusalem, to pursue after Sheba the son of Bichri. 2 Sam. 20:7
- And Amasa had taken no notice of the sword that was in Joab's hand: so he smote him with it in the belly and shed out his bowels to the ground, and struck him not again; and he died. And Joab and Abishai his brother pursued after Sheba the son of Bichri. 2 Sam. 20:10
- When he was removed out of the highway, all the people went on after Joab, to pursue after Sheba the son of Bichri, 2 Sam. 20:13
- who went through all the tribes of Israel to Abel, and to Beth-Maacah, and all the Berim; and they gathered together, and went also after him. 2 Sam. 20:14
- And there was a famine in the days of David three years, year after year; and David inquired of Jehovah. And Jehovah said, It is for Saul, and for his house of blood, because he slew the Gibeonites. 2 Sam. 21:1
- And it came to pass after this, that there was again a battle with the Philistines, at Gob; then Sibbechai the Hushathite smote Saph, who was of the children of Raphah. 2 Sam. 21:18
- And he shall be as the light or the morning, like the rising of the sun, A morning without clouds; When from the sunshine, after rain, The green grass springeth from the earth. 2 Sam. 23:4
- And after him, Eleazar the son of Dodo the son of an Ahohite: he was one of the three mighty men with David, when they had defied the Philistines that were there gathered together to battle, and the men of Israel were gone up. 2 Sam. 23:9
- He arose and smote the Philistines until his hand was weary, and his hand clave to the sword; and Jehovah wrought a great deliverance that day; and the people returned after him only to spoil. 2 Sam. 23:10
- And after him, Shammah the son of Agee the Hararite: the Philistines were gathered into a troop, and there was there a plot of ground full of lentils, and the people had fled before the Philistines; 2 Sam. 23:11
- And David's heart smote him after he had numbered the people. And David said to Jehovah, I have sinned greatly in what I have done; and now, I beseech thee, Jehovah, put away the iniquity of thy servant; for I have done very foolishly. 2 Sam. 24:10
- And his father had not grieved him at any time in saying, Why doest thou so? and he was also a very comely man; and his mother bore him after Absalom. 1 Ki. 1:6
- Go and get thee in to king David, and say to him, Didst not thou, my lord, O king, swear to thy handmaid saying, Solomon thy son shall reign after me, and he shall sit on my throne? why then does Adonijah reign? 1 Ki. 1:13
- Behold, while thou yet talkest there with the king, I also will come in after thee and confirm thy words. 1 Ki. 1:14
- And she said to him, My lord, thou hast sworn by Jehovah thy God to thy handmaid, saying, Solomon thy son shall reign after me, and he shall sit on my throne. 1 Ki. 1:17
- And thou, my lord the king, the eyes of all Israel are upon thee, that thou shouldest tell them who shall sit on the throne of my lord the king after him. 1 Ki. 1:20
- And Nathan said, My lord, O king, hast thou said, Adonijah shall reign after me, and he shall sit on my throne? 1 Ki. 1:24
- Is this thing done by my lord the king, and thou hast not shewn to thy servants who should sit on the throne of my lord the king after him? 1 Ki. 1:27
- even as I swore to thee by Jehovah the God of Israel, saying, Solomon thy son shall reign after me, and he shall sit on my throne in my stead; even so will I certainly do this day. 1 Ki. 1:30
- And ye shall come up after him, that he may come and sit on my throne; for he shall reign in my stead, and I have appointed him to be ruler over Israel and over Judah. 1 Ki. 1:35
- And all the people came up after him, and the people piped with pipes, and rejoiced with great joy, so that the earth rent with the sound of them. 1 Ki. 1:40
- And the report came to Joab (for Joab had turned after Adonijah, though he had not turned after Absalom); and Joab fled to the tent of Jehovah, and caught hold of the horns of the altar. 1 Ki. 2:28
- behold, I have done according to thy word: behold, I have given thee a wise and an understanding heart, so that there hath been none like unto thee before thee, neither after thee shall any arise like unto thee. 1 Ki. 3:12
- And it came to pass the third day after I was delivered, that this woman was delivered also; and we were together; no stranger was with us in the house, only we two were in the house. 1 Ki. 3:18
- And it came to pass in the four hundred and eightieth year after the children of Israel were come out of the land of Egypt, in the fourth year of Solomon's reign over Israel, in the month Zif, which is the second month, that he began to build the house of Jehovah. 1 Ki. 6:1
- After this manner he made the ten bases: all of them had one casting, one measure, one form. 1 Ki. 7:37
- their children that were left after them in the land, whom the children of Israel were not able utterly to destroy, upon them did Solomon impose a tribute of bondservice until this day. 1 Ki. 9:21
- of the nations of which Jehovah had said to the children of Israel, Ye shall not go in to them, neither shall they come in to you; they would certainly turn away your heart after their gods: to these Solomon was attached in love. 1 Ki. 11:2
- And it came to pass when Solomon was old, that his wives turned away his heart after other gods; and his heart was not perfect with Jehovah his God, as the heart of David his father. 1 Ki. 11:4
- And Solomon went after Ashtoreth the goddess of the Zidonians, and after Milcom the abomination of the Ammonites. 1 Ki. 11:5
- and had commanded him concerning this thing, not to go after other gods; but he kept not what Jehovah had commanded. 1 Ki. 11:10
- Now it came to pass when David was in Edom, when Joab the captain of the host had gone up to bury the slain, after he had smitten every male in Edom 1 Ki. 11:15
- and went after the man of God, and found him sitting under a terebinth; and he said to him, Art thou the man of God that camest from Judah? And he said, I am. 1 Ki. 13:14
- And it came to pass, after he had eaten bread, and after he had drunk, that he saddled the ass for him, for the prophet that he had brought back; 1 Ki. 13:23
- And it came to pass after he had buried him, that he spoke to his sons saying, When I am dead, bury me in the sepulchre in which the man of God is buried; lay my bones beside his bones. 1 Ki. 13:31
- After this thing Jeroboam turned not from his evil way, but made again from all classes of the people priests of the high places: whosoever would, he consecrated him, and he became one of the priests of the high places. 1 Ki. 13:33
- But for David's sake Jehovah his God gave him a lamp in Jerusalem, setting up his son after him, and establishing Jerusalem; 1 Ki. 15:4
- And he bought the hill Samaria of Shemer for two talents of silver; and built on the hill, and called the name of the city that he built, after the name of Shemer, owner of the hill, Samaria. 1 Ki. 16:24
- And it came to pass after a while that the torrent dried up, for there had been no rain in the land. 1 Ki. 17:7
- And it came to pass after these things, that the son of the woman, the mistress of the house, fell sick; and his sickness was so severe that there was no breath left in him. 1 Ki. 17:17
- And it came to pass after many days, that the word of Jehovah came to Elijah in the third year, saying, Go, shew thyself to Ahab; and I will send rain upon the face of the earth. 1 Ki. 18:1
- And they cried aloud, and cut themselves after their manner with swords and spears, till the blood gushed out upon them. 1 Ki. 18:28
- And he said, Go forth, and stand upon the mount before Jehovah. And behold, Jehovah passed by, and a great and strong wind rent the mountains, and broke in pieces the rocks before Jehovah: Jehovah was not in the wind. And after the wind, an earthquake: Jehovah was not in the earthquake. 1 Ki. 19:11
- And after the earthquake, a fire: Jehovah was not in the fire. And after the fire, a soft gentle voice. 1 Ki. 19:12
- And he left the oxen, and ran after Elijah, and said, Let me, I pray thee, kiss my father and my mother, and I will follow thee. And he said to him, Go back again; for what have I done to thee? 1 Ki. 19:20
- And he returned back from him, and took the yoke of oxen, and killed them, and boiled their flesh with the implements of the oxen, and gave to the people, and they ate. And he arose and went after Elijah, and ministered to him. 1 Ki. 19:21
- And he numbered the servants of the princes of the provinces, and they were two hundred and thirty-two; and after them he numbered all the people, all the children of Israel, seven thousand. 1 Ki. 20:15
- And it came to pass after these things, that Naboth the Jizreelite had a vineyard, which was in Jizreel, by the side of the palace of Ahab king of Samaria. 1 Ki. 21:1
- and Jehovah said, Who shall entice Ahab that he may go up and fall at Ramoth-Gilead? And one said after this manner, and another said after that manner. 1 Ki. 22:20
- And Moab rebelled against Israel after the death of Ahab. 2 Ki. 1:1
- And Gehazi, the servant of Elisha the man of God, said, Behold, my master has spared Naaman, this Syrian, in not receiving at his hands that which he brought; but as Jehovah liveth, I will run after him and take somewhat of him. 2 Ki. 5:20
- And Gehazi followed after Naaman. And when Naaman saw him running after him, he sprang down from the chariot to meet him, and said, Is all well? 2 Ki. 5:21
- And it came to pass after this that Ben-Hadad king of Syria gathered all his army, and went up and besieged Samaria. 2 Ki. 6:24
- And they took two chariots with their horses; and the king sent after the army of the Syrians, saying, Go and see. 2 Ki. 7:14
- And they went after them to the Jordan; and behold, all the way was full of garments and materials, which the Syrians had cast away in their haste. And the messengers returned and told the king. 2 Ki. 7:15
- And he said to Bidkar his captain, Take him up and cast him in the plot of the field of Naboth the Jizreelite. For remember how, when I and thou rode together after Ahab his father, that Jehovah laid this burden upon him: 2 Ki. 9:25
- When Ahaziah king of Judah saw that, he fled by the way of the garden-house. And Jehu followed after him, and said, Smite him also in his chariot. It was on the ascent of Gur, which is by Jibleam. And he fled to Megiddo, and died there. 2 Ki. 9:27
- And he came in, and ate and drank; and he said, Go, look, I pray you, after this cursed woman, and bury her; for she is a king's daughter. 2 Ki. 9:34
- And Amaziah the son of Joash king of Judah lived after the death of Jehoash son of Jehoahaz, king of Israel, fifteen years. 2 Ki. 14:17
- And they made a conspiracy against him in Jerusalem; and he fled to Lachish; and they sent after him to Lachish, and slew him there. 2 Ki. 14:19
- It was he that built Elath, and restored it to Judah, after the king slept with his fathers. 2 Ki. 14:22
- And they rejected his statutes, and his covenant which he had made with their fathers, and his testimonies which he had testified unto them; and they followed vanity and became vain, and went after the nations that were round about them, concerning whom Jehovah had charged them that they should not do like them. 2 Ki. 17:15
- They feared Jehovah, and served their own gods after the manner of the nations, whence they had been carried away. 2 Ki. 17:33
- To this day they do after their former customs: they fear not Jehovah, neither do they after their statutes or after their ordinances, nor after the law and commandment that Jehovah commanded the sons of Jacob, whom he named Israel. 2 Ki. 17:34
- And they did not hearken, but did after their former customs. 2 Ki. 17:40
- He trusted in Jehovah the God of Israel; so that after him was none like him among all the kings of Judah, nor among any that were before him. 2 Ki. 18:5
- And the king stood on the dais, and made a covenant before Jehovah, to walk after Jehovah, and to keep his commandments and his testimonies and his statutes with all his heart, and with all his soul, to establish the words of this covenant that are written in this book. And all the people stood to the covenant. 2 Ki. 23:3
- And before him there had been no king like him that turned to Jehovah with all his heart and with all his soul and with all his might, according to all the law of Moses; neither after him arose there his like. 2 Ki. 23:25
- And the army of the Chaldeans pursued after the king, and overtook him in the plains of Jericho; and all his army was scattered from him. 2 Ki. 25:5
- And after the death of Hezron in Caleb-Ephratah, Abijah, Hezron's wife, bore him Ashhur, the father of Tekoa. 1 Chr. 2:24
- And they transgressed against the God of their fathers, and went a whoring after the gods of the peoples of the land, whom God had destroyed before them. 1 Chr. 5:25
- And these are they whom David set over the service of song in the house of Jehovah after that the ark was in rest. 1 Chr. 6:31
- And Shaharaim begot children in the land of Moab after he had sent away Hushim and Baara his wives. 1 Chr. 8:8
- And their brethren, in their villages, were to come after every seven days from time to time with them. 1 Chr. 9:25
- And the Philistines followed hard after Saul and after his sons; and the Philistines smote Jonathan, and Abinadab, and Malchi-shua, Saul's sons. 1 Chr. 10:2
- And after him, Eleazar the son of Dodo, the Ahohite; he was one of the three mighty men. 1 Chr. 11:12
- And David inquired again of God; and God said to him, Go not up after them; turn round them and come upon them opposite the mulberry-trees. 1 Chr. 14:14
- For because ye did it not at the first, Jehovah our God made a breach upon us, for that we sought him not after the due order. 1 Chr. 15:13
- And it shall come to pass, when thy days are fulfilled that thou must go to be with thy fathers, that I will set up thy seed after thee, which shall be of thy sons; and I will establish his kingdom. 1 Chr. 17:11
- And after this it came to pass that David smote the Philistines, and subdued them, and took Gath and its towns out of the hand of the Philistines. 1 Chr. 18:1
- And it came to pass after this that Nahash king of the children of Ammon died, and his son reigned in his stead. 1 Chr. 19:1
- And it came to pass after this, that there arose war at Gezer with the Philistines; then Sibbechai the Hushathite smote Sippai, one of the children of Rapha; and they were subdued. 1 Chr. 20:4
- And these are the children of Israel after their number, the chief fathers and captains of thousands and hundreds, and their officers that served the king in every matter of the divisions, which came in and went out month by month throughout the months of the year; in every division were twenty-four thousand. 1 Chr. 27:1
- The fourth for the fourth month was Asahel the brother of Joab, and Zebadiah his son after him; and in his division were twenty-four thousand. 1 Chr. 27:7
- and after Ahithophel was Jehoiada the son of Benaiah, and Abiathar; and Joab was captain of the king's army. 1 Chr. 27:34
- And now in the sight of all Israel, the congregation of Jehovah, and in the audience of our God, -- keep and seek for all the commandments of Jehovah your God; that ye may possess the good land, and leave it as an inheritance to your children after you for ever. 1 Chr. 28:8
- But who am I, and what is my people, that we should be able to offer willingly after this manner? for all is of thee, and of that which is from thy hand have we given thee. 1 Chr. 29:14
- And they sacrificed sacrifices to Jehovah, and offered up burnt-offerings to Jehovah, on the morrow after that day: a thousand bullocks, a thousand rams, a thousand lambs, with their drink-offerings, and sacrifices in abundance for all Israel. 1 Chr. 29:21
- wisdom and knowledge are granted unto thee; and I will give thee riches and wealth and honour, such as none of the kings have had that have been before thee, neither shall any after thee have the like. 2 Chr. 1:12
- And Solomon numbered all the strangers that were in the land of Israel, after the account that David his father had taken of them, and there were found a hundred and fifty-three thousand six hundred. 2 Chr. 2:17
- And this was Solomon's foundation for the construction of the house of God. The length by cubits after the first measure was sixty cubits, and the breadth twenty cubits. 2 Chr. 3:3
- their children that were left after them in the land, whom the children of Israel had not destroyed, upon them did Solomon impose tribute-service until this day. 2 Chr. 8:8
- And he said to them, Come again to me after three days. And the people departed. 2 Chr. 10:5
- -- And after them, those out of all the tribes of Israel that set their heart to seek Jehovah the God of Israel came to Jerusalem, to sacrifice to Jehovah the God of their fathers. 2 Chr. 11:16
- And after her he took Maachah the daughter of Absalom; and she bore him Abijah, and Attai, and Ziza, and Shelomith. 2 Chr. 11:20
- And Abijah pursued after Jeroboam, and took cities from him: Bethel with its dependent villages, and Jeshanah with its dependent villages, and Ephron with its dependent villages. 2 Chr. 13:19
- but he sought the God of his father, and walked in his commandments, and not after the doings of Israel. 2 Chr. 17:4
- And after certain years he went down to Ahab, to Samaria. And Ahab killed sheep and oxen for him in abundance, and for the people that were with him, and urged him to go up against Ramoth-Gilead. 2 Chr. 18:2
- and Jehovah said, Who shall entice Ahab king of Israel that he may go up and fall at Ramoth-Gilead? And one spoke saying after this manner, and another saying after that manner. 2 Chr. 18:19
- And it came to pass after this that the children of Moab, and the children of Ammon, and with them certain of the Maonites, came against Jehoshaphat to battle. 2 Chr. 20:1
- And after this Jehoshaphat king of Judah joined himself with Ahaziah king of Israel, who did very wickedly. 2 Chr. 20:35
- And after all this, Jehovah smote him in his bowels with an incurable sickness. 2 Chr. 21:18
- And he did evil in the sight of Jehovah like the house of Ahab; for they were his counsellors after the death of his father, to his destruction. 2 Chr. 22:4
- He walked also after their counsel, and went with Jehoram the son of Ahab, king of Israel, to the war against Hazael the king of Syria at Ramoth-Gilead; and the Syrians wounded Joram. 2 Chr. 22:5
- And it came to pass after this, that Joash was minded to renew the house of Jehovah. 2 Chr. 24:4
- And after the death of Jehoiada the princes of Judah came and made obeisance to the king; then the king hearkened to them. 2 Chr. 24:17
- And it came to pass after Amaziah was come from the slaughter of the Edomites, that he brought the gods of the children of Seir, and set them up to be his gods, and bowed himself down before them, and burned incense to them. 2 Chr. 25:14
- And the anger of Jehovah was kindled against Amaziah, and he sent to him a prophet, who said to him, Why dost thou seek after the gods of a people who have not delivered their own people out of thy hand? 2 Chr. 25:15

- After him the Tekoites repaired a second piece, over against the great tower which lies out, as far as the wall of Ophel. Neh. 3:27
- After them repaired Zadok the son of Immer over against his house. And after him repaired also Shemaiah the son of Shechaniah, the keeper of the east gate. Neh. 3:29

- They are turned back to the iniquities of their forefathers, who refused to hear my words; and they have gone after other gods to serve them. The house of Israel and the house of Judah have broken my covenant which I made with their fathers. Jer. 11:10
- For even thy brethren, and the house of thy father, even they have dealt treacherously with thee, even they have cried aloud after thee. Believe them not, though they speak good words unto thee. Jer. 12:6

- This evil people, who refuse to hear my words, who walk in the stubbornness of their heart, and go after other gods, to serve them and to worship them, shall even be as this girdle which is good for nothing. Jer. 13:10
- Thine adulteries, and thy neighings, the lewdness of thy fornication, on the hills, in the fields, -- thine abominations, have I seen. Woe unto thee, Jerusalem! Wilt thou not be made clean? after how long a time yet? Jer. 13:27
- For who shall have pity upon thee, Jerusalem? and who shall bemoan thee? and who shall turn aside to ask after thy welfare? Jer. 15:5
- then shalt thou say unto them, Because your fathers have forsaken me, saith Jehovah, and have walked after other gods, and have served them, and have worshipped them, and have forsaken me, and have not kept my law; Jer. 16:11
- and you, ye have done still worse than your fathers; and there ye are walking every one after the stubbornness of his evil heart, not to hearken unto me: Jer. 16:12
- But they say, There is no hope; for we will walk after our own devices, and we will each one do according to the stubbornness of his evil heart. Jer. 18:12
- Jehovah shewed me, and behold, two baskets of figs, set before the temple of Jehovah, after that Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon had carried away captive from Jerusalem, Jeconiah the son of Jehoiakim, the king of Judah, and the princes of Judah, and the craftsmen and smiths, and had brought them to Babylon. - And go not after other gods, to serve them and to worship them; and provoke me not to anger with the work of your hands; and I will do you no hurt. Jer. 25:6
- and all the kings of the north, far and near, one with another; and all the kingdoms of the world, which are upon the face of the earth; and the king of Sheshach shall drink after them. Jer. 25:26
- And the word of Jehovah came unto Jeremiah, after that the prophet Hananiah had broken the yoke from off the neck of the prophet Jeremiah, saying, Jer. 28:12

- For I will apply a bandage unto thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds, saith Jehovah; for they have called thee an outcast: This is Zion that no man seeketh after. Jer. 30:17
- Thus saith Jehovah: Behold, I will turn the captivity of Jacob's tents, and have mercy on his habitations; and the city shall be built upon her own heap; and the palace shall be inhabited after the manner thereof. Jer. 30:18
- Then shall the virgin rejoice in the dance, and the young men and old together; for I will turn their mourning into gladness, and will comfort them, and make them rejoice after their sorrow. Jer. 31:13

- And after I had given the writing of the purchase unto Baruch the son of Nerijah, I prayed unto Jehovah saying, Jer. 32:16
- who shewest mercy unto thousands, and recompensest the iniquity of the fathers into the bosom of their children after them, thou, the great, the mighty *God, -- Jehovah of hosts is his name; Jer. 32:18
- And I will give them one heart, and one way, that they may fear me all their days, for the good of them, and of their children after them. Jer. 32:39
- The word that came unto Jeremiah from Jehovah, after that king Zedekiah had made a covenant with all the people that were at Jerusalem, to proclaim liberty unto them: Jer. 34:8
- And I have sent unto you all my servants the prophets, rising early and sending, saying, Return ye now every man from his evil way, and amend your doings, and go not after other gods to serve them; and ye shall dwell in the land that I have given to you and to your fathers: but ye have not inclined your ear nor hearkened unto me. Jer. 35:15
- And after that the king had burned the roll, and the words that Baruch wrote at the mouth of Jeremiah, the word of Jehovah came to Jeremiah, saying, Jer. 36:27
- And the army of the Chaldeans pursued after them, and overtook Zedekiah in the plains of Jericho; and they took him, and brought him up to Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, unto Riblah in the land of Hamath; and he pronounced judgment upon him. Jer. 39:5
- The word that came to Jeremiah from Jehovah, after that Nebuzar-adan the captain of the body-guard had let him go from Ramah, when he had taken him, being bound in chains, among all the captivity of Jerusalem and Judah, that were carried away captive to Babylon. Jer. 40:1
- And it came to pass the second day after he had killed Gedaliah, and no man knew it, Jer. 41:4
