- And all that are born in the land shall do these things thus, in presenting an offering by fire of a sweet odour to Jehovah. Num. 15:13
- And if a stranger sojourn with you, or whoever be among you throughout your generations, and will offer an offering by fire of a sweet odour to Jehovah, -- as ye do, so shall he do. Num. 15:14
- And if ye sin inadvertently, and do not all these commandments, which Jehovah hath spoken unto Moses, Num. 15:22
- and it shall be unto you for a tassel, that ye may look upon it, and remember all the commandments of Jehovah, and do them; and that ye seek not after the lusts of your own heart and your own eyes, after which ye go a whoring; Num. 15:39
- that ye may remember and do all my commandments, and be holy unto your God. Num. 15:40
- and they gathered themselves together against Moses and against Aaron, and said to them, It is enough; for all the assembly, all of them are holy, and Jehovah is among them; and why do ye lift up yourselves above the congregation of Jehovah? Num. 16:3
- This do: take you censers, Korah, and all his band, Num. 16:6
- Is it too little for you, that the God of Israel has separated you from the assembly of Israel, to bring you near to himself to do the work of the tabernacle of Jehovah, and to stand before the assembly to minister to them? Num. 16:9
- And Moses said, Hereby ye shall know that Jehovah has sent me to do all these deeds, for they are not out of my own heart: Num. 16:28
- And Jehovah said to Moses, Fear him not! for into thy hand have I given him, and all his people, and his land; and thou shalt do to him as thou didst unto Sihon the king of the Amorites, who dwelt at Heshbon. Num. 21:34
- for very highly will I honour thee, and whatever thou shalt say to me will I do; come therefore, I pray thee, curse me this people. Num. 22:17
- And Balaam answered and said to the servants of Balak, If Balak give me his house full of silver and gold, I could not go beyond the commandment of Jehovah my God, to do less or more. Num. 22:18
- Then God came to Balaam at night, and said to him, If the men have come to call thee, rise up, and go with them; but only what I shall say unto thee shalt thou do. Num. 22:20
- And the ass said to Balaam, Am not I thine ass, upon which thou hast ridden ever since I was thine to this day? was I ever wont to do so to thee? And he said, No. Num. 22:30
- *God is not a man, that he should lie; neither a son of man, that he should repent. Shall he say and not do? and shall he speak and not make it good? Num. 23:19
- And Balaam answered and said to Balak, Did I not tell thee, saying, All that Jehovah shall speak, that will I do? Num. 23:26
- If Balak gave me his house full of silver and gold, I could not go beyond the commandment of Jehovah to do good or bad out of my heart: what Jehovah shall say, that will I speak? Num. 24:13
- And now behold, I go to my people: come, I will admonish thee what this people will do to thy people at the end of days. Num. 24:14
- And Edom shall be a possession, and Seir a possession, -- they, his enemies; but Israel will do valiantly. Num. 24:18
- On the first day shall be a holy convocation: no manner of servile work shall ye do; Num. 28:18
- And on the seventh day ye shall have a holy convocation; no manner of servile work shall ye do. Num. 28:25
- And on the day of the first-fruits, when ye present a new oblation to Jehovah, after your weeks, ye shall have a holy convocation: no manner of servile work shall ye do. Num. 28:26
- And in the seventh month, on the first of the month, ye shall have a holy convocation: no manner of servile work shall ye do; a day of blowing the trumpets shall it be unto you. Num. 29:1
- And on the tenth of this seventh month ye shall have a holy convocation; and ye shall afflict your souls; no manner of work shall ye do. Num. 29:7
- And on the fifteenth day of the seventh month ye shall have a holy convocation: no manner of servile work shall ye do; and ye shall celebrate a feast to Jehovah seven days; Num. 29:12
- On the eighth day ye shall have a solemn assembly: no manner of servile work shall ye do. Num. 29:35
- If a man vow a vow to Jehovah, or swear an oath to bind his soul with a bond, he shall not break his word; according to all that hath gone out of his mouth shall he do. Num. 30:2
- And why do ye discourage the children of Israel from going over into the land that Jehovah has given them? Num. 32:7
- And Moses said to them, If ye do this thing, if ye arm yourselves before Jehovah for war, Num. 32:20
- But if ye do not do so, behold, ye have sinned against Jehovah, and be sure your sin will find you out. Num. 32:23
- Build yourselves cities for your little ones, and folds for your flocks, and do that which has gone out of your mouth. Num. 32:24
- And the children of Gad and the children of Reuben spoke to Moses, saying, Thy servants will do as my lord commands. Num. 32:25
- but if they do not pass over with you armed, they shall have possessions among you in the land of Canaan. Num. 32:30
- And the children of Gad and the children of Reuben answered, saying, As Jehovah has said to thy servants, so will we do. Num. 32:31
- And it shall come to pass that I will do unto you as I thought to do unto them. Num. 33:56
- And ye answered me, and said, The thing that thou hast spoken is good for us to do. Dt. 1:14
- And I commanded you at that time all the things that ye should do. Dt. 1:18
- And the Amorite that dwelt on that hill came out against you, and chased you, like as bees do, and cut you in pieces in Seir, as far as Hormah. Dt. 1:44
- And Jehovah said to me, Fear him not; for into thy hand have I given him, and all his people, and his land; and thou shalt do unto him as thou didst unto Sihon the king of the Amorites, who dwelt at Heshbon. Dt. 3:2
- And I commanded Joshua at that time, saying, Thine eyes have seen all that Jehovah your God hath done to these two kings: so will Jehovah do to all the kingdoms to which thou shalt go. Dt. 3:21
- Lord Jehovah, thou hast begun to shew thy servant thy greatness, and thy powerful hand; for what *God is in the heavens or in the earth that can do like to thy works, and like to thy might? Dt. 3:24
- And now, Israel, hearken to the statutes and to the ordinances which I teach you, to do them, that ye may live, and go in and possess the land which Jehovah the God of your fathers giveth you. Dt. 4:1
- See, I have taught you statutes and ordinances, even as Jehovah my God commanded me, that ye may do so in the land into which ye enter to possess it. Dt. 4:5
- And ye shall keep and do them; for that will be your wisdom and your understanding before the eyes of the peoples that shall hear all these statutes, and say, Verily this great nation is a wise and understanding people. Dt. 4:6
- And he declared to you his covenant, which he commanded you to do, the ten words; and he wrote them on two tables of stone. Dt. 4:13
- And Jehovah commanded me at that time to teach you statutes and ordinances, that ye might do them in the land whither ye are passing over to possess it. Dt. 4:14
- When thou begettest sons, and sons' sons, and ye have remained long in the land, and shall corrupt yourselves, and make a graven image, the form of anything, and do evil in the sight of Jehovah thy God, to provoke him to anger, Dt. 4:25
- And Moses called to all Israel, and said to them, Hear, Israel, the statutes and the ordinances that I speak in your ears this day, and learn them, and keep them to do them. Dt. 5:1
- Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work; Dt. 5:13
- but the seventh day is the sabbath of Jehovah thy God: thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, nor thy bondman, nor thy handmaid, nor thine ox, nor thine ass, nor any of thy cattle, nor thy sojourner that is within thy gates; that thy bondman and thy handmaid may rest as well as thou. Dt. 5:14
- Come thou near, and hear all that Jehovah our God will say; and speak thou to us all that Jehovah our God will speak to thee; and we will hear it, and do it. Dt. 5:27
- But as for thee, stand thou here by me, and I will speak unto thee all the commandments, and the statutes, and the ordinances, which thou shalt teach them, that they may do them in the land which I give them to possess it. Dt. 5:31
- Take heed then to do as Jehovah your God hath commanded you: turn not aside to the right hand or to the left. Dt. 5:32
- And these are the commandments, the statutes, and the ordinances, which Jehovah your God commanded to teach you, that ye may do them in the land whereunto ye pass over to possess it, Dt. 6:1
- And thou shalt hear, Israel, and take heed to do them; that it may be well with thee, and that ye may increase greatly, as Jehovah the God of thy fathers hath said unto thee, in a land flowing with milk and honey. Dt. 6:3
- And thou shalt do what is right and good in the sight of Jehovah, that it may be well with thee, and that thou mayest enter in and possess the good land which Jehovah swore unto thy fathers, Dt. 6:18
- And Jehovah commanded us to do all these statutes, to fear Jehovah our God, for our good continually, that he might preserve us alive, as it is this day. Dt. 6:24
- And it shall be our righteousness if we take heed to do all these commandments before Jehovah our God, as he hath commanded us. Dt. 6:25
- And thou shalt keep the commandment, and the statutes, and the ordinances, which I command thee this day, to do them. Dt. 7:11
- And it shall come to pass, if ye hearken to these ordinances, and keep and do them, that Jehovah thy God will keep with thee the covenant and the mercy which he swore unto thy fathers; Dt. 7:12
- the great trials which thine eyes saw, and the signs, and the wonders, and the powerful hand, and the stretched-out arm, whereby Jehovah thy God brought thee out: so will Jehovah thy God do unto all the peoples whom thou fearest. Dt. 7:19
- Every commandment which I command thee this day shall ye take heed to do, that ye may live, and multiply, and enter in and possess the land which Jehovah swore unto your fathers. Dt. 8:1
- who fed thee in the wilderness with manna, which thy fathers knew not, that he might humble thee, and that he might prove thee, to do thee good at thy latter end; Dt. 8:16
- And it shall be, if thou do at all forget Jehovah thy God, and go after other gods, and serve them, and bow down to them, I testify against you this day that ye shall utterly perish. Dt. 8:19
- At that time Jehovah separated the tribe of Levi, to bear the ark of the covenant of Jehovah, to stand before Jehovah to do service unto him, and to bless in his name, unto this day. Dt. 10:8
- For if ye diligently keep all this commandment which I command you this day to do it, to love Jehovah your God, to walk in all his ways, and to cleave unto him, Dt. 11:22
- And ye shall take heed to do all the statutes and ordinances which I set before you this day. Dt. 11:32
- These are the statutes and ordinances, which ye shall take heed to do in the land, which Jehovah the God of thy fathers is giving thee to possess it, all the days that ye live upon the earth. Dt. 12:1
- Ye shall not do so unto Jehovah your God; Dt. 12:4
- Ye shall not do after all that we do here this day, each one whatever is right in his own eyes. Dt. 12:8
- but in the place which Jehovah will choose in one of thy tribes, there thou shalt offer thy burnt-offerings, and there thou shalt do all that I command thee. Dt. 12:14
- thou shalt not eat it; that it may go well with thee, and with thy children after thee, when thou shalt do what is right in the eyes of Jehovah. Dt. 12:25
- take heed to thyself that thou be not ensnared to follow after them, after that they are destroyed from before thee; and that thou inquire not after their gods, saying, How did these nations serve their gods? even so will I do likewise. Dt. 12:30
- Thou shalt not do so to Jehovah thy God; for every thing that is abomination to Jehovah, which he hateth, have they done unto their gods; for even their sons and their daughters have they burned in the fire to their gods. Dt. 12:31
- Everything that I command you, ye shall take heed to do it; thou shalt not add thereto, nor take from it. Dt. 12:32
- and all Israel shall hear, and fear, and shall do no more any such wicked thing as this in thy midst. Dt. 13:11
- when thou hearkenest to the voice of Jehovah thy God, to keep all his commandments which I command thee this day, that thou mayest do what is right in the eyes of Jehovah thy God. Dt. 13:18
- if thou only diligently hearken unto the voice of Jehovah thy God, to take heed to do all this commandment which I command thee this day. Dt. 15:5
- then thou shalt take an awl, and thrust it through his ear and into the door; and he shall be thy bondman for ever. And also unto thy handmaid thou shalt do likewise. Dt. 15:17
- Every firstling that is born among thy kine and among thy sheep that is a male, thou shalt hallow to Jehovah thy God: thou shalt do no work with the firstling of thy kine, nor shear the firstling of thy sheep. Dt. 15:19
- Six days thou shalt eat unleavened bread, and on the seventh day is a solemn assembly to Jehovah thy God; thou shalt do no work. Dt. 16:8
- And thou shalt remember that thou wast a bondman in Egypt, and thou shalt keep and do these statutes. Dt. 16:12
- and thou shalt do according to the tenor of the word, which they of that place which Jehovah will choose shall declare unto thee; and thou shalt take heed to do according to all that they instruct thee: Dt. 17:10
- according to the sentence of the law which they shall declare unto thee, and according to the judgment which they shall tell thee, thou shalt do: thou shalt not decline from the word which they shall declare unto thee, to the right hand, or the left. Dt. 17:11
- and it shall be with him, and he shall read therein all the days of his life; that he may learn to fear Jehovah his God, to keep all the words of this law and these statutes, to do them; Dt. 17:19
- When thou art come into the land which Jehovah thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not learn to do according to the abominations of those nations. Dt. 18:9
- For these nations, which thou shalt dispossess, hearkened unto those that use auguries, and that use divination; but as for thee, Jehovah thy God hath not suffered thee to do so. Dt. 18:14
- (if thou keep all this commandment to do it, which I command thee this day, to love Jehovah thy God, and to walk in his ways continually), then shalt thou add three cities more for thyself to these three, Dt. 19:9
- then shall ye do unto him as he had thought to have done unto his brother; and thou shalt put evil away from thy midst. Dt. 19:19
- and shall say unto them, Hear, Israel, ye are approaching this day unto battle against your enemies: let not your hearts faint, fear not, and do not tremble, neither be afraid of them; Dt. 20:3
- Thus shalt thou do unto all the cities that are very far off from thee, which are not of the cities of these nations. Dt. 20:15
- that they teach you not to do according to all their abominations, which they have done unto their gods, so that ye sin against Jehovah your God. Dt. 20:18
- and the priests the sons of Levi shall come near; for them Jehovah thy God hath chosen to do service unto him, and to bless in the name of Jehovah; and according to their word shall be every controversy and every stroke. Dt. 21:5
- So shalt thou put away innocent blood from thy midst, when thou shalt do what is right in the eyes of Jehovah. Dt. 21:9
- And so shalt thou do with his ass; and so shalt thou do with his clothing; and so shalt thou do with everything that is lost of thy brother, which he loseth, and thou findest: thou mayest not hide thyself. Dt. 22:3
- and unto the damsel thou shalt do nothing: there is in the damsel no sin worthy of death; for as when a man riseth against his neighbour, and murdereth him, so is this matter; Dt. 22:26
- What is gone out of thy lips thou shalt keep and do, as thou hast vowed to Jehovah thy God, the voluntary-offering that thou hast promised with thy mouth. Dt. 23:23
- Take heed in the plague of leprosy, that thou take great heed, and do according to all that the priests the Levites shall teach you: as I commanded them shall ye take heed to do. Dt. 24:8
- And thou shalt remember that thou wast a bondman in Egypt, and that Jehovah thy God redeemed thee from thence; therefore I command thee to do this thing. Dt. 24:18
- And thou shalt remember that thou wast a bondman in the land of Egypt; therefore I command thee to do this thing. Dt. 24:22
- This day Jehovah thy God hath commanded thee to do these statutes and ordinances; and thou shalt keep and do them with all thy heart and with all thy soul. Dt. 26:16
- And thou shalt hearken unto the voice of Jehovah thy God, and do his commandments and his statutes, which I command thee this day. Dt. 27:10
- Cursed be he that confirmeth not the words of this law to do them! And all the people shall say, Amen. Dt. 27:26
- And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of Jehovah thy God, to take heed to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that Jehovah thy God will set thee supreme above all nations of the earth; Dt. 28:1
- And Jehovah will make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath; if thou hearken unto the commandments of Jehovah thy God, which I command thee this day, to keep and to do them, Dt. 28:13
- But it shall come to pass if thou wilt not hearken unto the voice of Jehovah thy God, to take heed to do all his commandments and his statutes which I command thee this day, that all these curses shall come upon thee and overtake thee. Dt. 28:15
- If thou wilt not take heed to do all the words of this law that are written in this book, to fear this glorious and fearful name, JEHOVAH THY GOD; Dt. 28:58
- And it shall come to pass, that as Jehovah rejoiced over you to do you good and to multiply you, so Jehovah will rejoice over you to cause you to perish, and to destroy you; and ye shall be plucked from off the land whereunto thou goest to possess it. Dt. 28:63
- Ye shall keep then the words of this covenant, and do them, that ye may prosper in all that ye do. Dt. 29:9
- Neither with you only do I make this covenant and this oath, Dt. 29:14
- The hidden things belong to Jehovah our God; but the revealed ones are ours and our children's for ever, to do all the words of this law. Dt. 29:29
- and Jehovah thy God will bring thee into the land that thy fathers possessed, and thou shalt possess it; and he will do thee good, and multiply thee above thy fathers. Dt. 30:5
- But thou shalt return and hearken to the voice of Jehovah, and do all his commandments which I command thee this day. Dt. 30:8
- It is not in the heavens, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go up for us to the heavens, and bring it to us, that we should hear it and do it? Dt. 30:12
- And it is not beyond the sea, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go over the sea for us, and bring it to us, that we should hear it and do it? Dt. 30:13
- For the word is very near to thee, in thy mouth and in thy heart, that thou mayest do it. Dt. 30:14
- And Jehovah will do to them as he did to Sihon and to Og, the kings of the Amorites, and to their land; whom he destroyed. Dt. 31:4
- And when Jehovah giveth them up before you, ye shall do to them according to all the commandment which I have commanded you. Dt. 31:5
- Gather the people together, the men, and the women, and the children, and thy stranger that is within thy gates, that they may hear, and that they may learn, and fear Jehovah your God, and take heed to do all the words of this law; Dt. 31:12
- and that their children who do not know it may hear it and learn, that they may fear Jehovah your God, as long as ye live in the land, whereunto ye pass over the Jordan to possess it. Dt. 31:13
- For I know that after my death ye will utterly corrupt yourselves, and will turn aside from the way which I have commanded you; and mischief will befall you at the end of days; because ye do evil in the sight of Jehovah, to provoke him to anger through the work of your hands. Dt. 31:29
- Do ye thus requite Jehovah, Foolish and unwise people? Is not he thy father that hath bought thee? Hath he not made thee and established thee? Dt. 32:6
- he said unto them, Set your hearts unto all the words that I testify among you this day, which ye shall command your children to take heed to do, all the words of this law. Dt. 32:46
- according to all the signs and wonders that Jehovah had sent him to do in the land of Egypt, to Pharaoh, and to all his servants, and to all his land; Dt. 34:11
- Only be strong and very courageous, that thou mayest take heed to do according to all the law that Moses my servant commanded thee. Turn not from it to the right or to the left, that thou mayest prosper whithersoever thou goest. Josh. 1:7
- This book of the law shall not depart from thy mouth; and thou shalt meditate upon it day and night, that thou mayest take heed to do according to all that is written therein; for then shalt thou have good success in thy ways, and then shalt thou prosper. Josh. 1:8
- And they answered Joshua, saying, All that thou hast commanded us will we do, and whither thou shalt send us will we go. Josh. 1:16
- And the men said to her, Our lives shall pay for yours, if ye do not make this our business known; and it shall be when Jehovah shall give us the land, that we will deal kindly and truly with thee. Josh. 2:14
- And Joshua said to the people, Hallow yourselves; for to-morrow Jehovah will do wonders in your midst. Josh. 3:5
- And ye shall go round the city, all the men of war, encompassing the city once. Thus shalt thou do six days. Josh. 6:3
- When the Canaanites and all the inhabitants of the land shall hear of it, they will surround us, and cut off our name from the earth. And what wilt thou do unto thy great name? Josh. 7:9
- And thou shalt do to Ai and to its king as thou didst to Jericho and to its king; only, the spoil thereof and the cattle thereof shall ye take as prey for yourselves. Set an ambush against the city behind it. Josh. 8:2
- And it shall be when ye have taken the city, that ye shall set the city on fire; according to the word of Jehovah shall ye do. See, I have commanded you. Josh. 8:8
- This we will do to them, and let them live, lest wrath come upon us, because of the oath which we swore unto them. Josh. 9:20
- And now behold, we are in thy hand: as it is good and right in thine eyes to do to us, do. Josh. 9:25
- And Joshua said to them, Fear not, neither be dismayed; be strong and courageous, for thus will Jehovah do to all your enemies against whom ye fight. Josh. 10:25
- Only, take great heed to do the commandment and the law, which Moses the servant of Jehovah commanded you, to love Jehovah your God, and to walk in all his ways, and to keep his commandments, and to cleave unto him, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul. Josh. 22:5
- and if we have not done it from fear of this thing, saying, In future your children will speak to our children, saying, What have ye to do with Jehovah the God of Israel? Josh. 22:24
- but to be a witness between us and you, and between our generations after us, that we might do service to Jehovah before him with our burnt-offerings, and with our sacrifices, and with our peace-offerings; that your children may not say to our children in future, Ye have no portion in Jehovah. Josh. 22:27
- And be ye very courageous to keep and to do all that is written in the book of the law of Moses, that ye turn not aside therefrom to the right hand or to the left; Josh. 23:6
- And I have given you a land for which ye did not labour, and cities which ye built not, and ye dwell in them; of vineyards and oliveyards which ye planted not do ye eat. Josh. 24:13
- If ye forsake Jehovah, and serve strange gods, then he will turn and do you hurt, and consume you, after that he hath done you good. Josh. 24:20
- And he said to them, Look on me, and do likewise; behold, when I come to the extremity of the camp, it shall be that, as I do, so shall ye do. Judg. 7:17
- Into your hands hath God delivered the princes of Midian, Oreb and Zeeb; and what was I able to do in comparison with you? Then their spirit was appeased toward him, when he said that word. Judg. 8:3
- And it shall be in the morning when the sun is up, thou shalt rise early, and fall upon the city; and behold, he and the people that is with him shall come out against thee, and thou shalt do with him as thou shalt find occasion. Judg. 9:33
- Then Abimelech went up to mount Zalmon, he and all the people that were with him; and Abimelech took an axe in his hand, and cut down a bough from the trees, and took it up and laid it on his shoulder, and said to the people that was with him, What ye have seen me do, make haste, do as I have done. Judg. 9:48
- And the children of Israel said to Jehovah, We have sinned. Do thou unto us according to all that is good in thy sight; only deliver us, we pray thee, this day. Judg. 10:15
- And the elders of Gilead said unto Jephthah, Jehovah be witness between us, if we do not so according to thy words! Judg. 11:10
- And Jephthah sent messengers to the king of the children of Ammon, saying, What hast thou to do with me, that thou art come against me to fight against my land? Judg. 11:12
- And she said to him, My father, if thou hast opened thy mouth to Jehovah, do to me according to that which has proceeded out of thy mouth; forasmuch as Jehovah has taken vengeance for thee upon thine enemies, upon the children of Ammon. Judg. 11:36
- Then Manoah prayed to Jehovah, and said, Ah Lord! let the man of God which thou didst send come again unto us, I pray thee, and teach us what we shall do unto the child that shall be born. Judg. 13:8
- And Manoah said to the Angel of Jehovah, What is thy name, that when thy word cometh to pass we may do thee honour? Judg. 13:17
- And his father went down to the woman, and Samson made there a feast; for so used the young men to do. Judg. 14:10
- And Samson said to them, This time I am blameless toward the Philistines, though I do them harm. Judg. 15:3
- And the men of Judah said, Why are ye come up against us? And they said, To bind Samson are we come up, to do to him as he has done to us. Judg. 15:10
- Then said Micah, Now I know that Jehovah will do me good, because I have the Levite for priest. Judg. 17:13
- And the five men departed, and came to Laish; and they saw the people that were therein, dwelling securely, after the manner of the Zidonians, quiet and secure; and no one was in the land who possessed authority, that might put them to shame in anything; and they were far from the Zidonians, and had nothing to do with any man. Judg. 18:7
- Then the five men that had gone to spy out the country of Laish spoke and said to their brethren, Do ye know that there is in these houses an ephod, and teraphim, and a graven image, and a molten image? And now ye know what to do. Judg. 18:14
- And these came into Micah's house, and took the carved image, the ephod, and the teraphim, and the molten image. And the priest said to them, What do ye? Judg. 18:18
- And there was no deliverer, for it was far from Zidon, and they had nothing to do with any man; and it lay in the valley that is by Beth-rehob. And they built the city and dwelt therein. Judg. 18:28
- And he said to him, We are travelling from Bethlehem-Judah towards the further side of mount Ephraim; from thence am I; and I went to Bethlehem-Judah, and I have to do with the house of Jehovah; and there is no man that receives me into his house. Judg. 19:18
- And the man, the master of the house, went out to them, and said to them, No, my brethren, I pray you, do not wickedly; seeing that this man is come into my house, do not this villany. Judg. 19:23

- What shall we do for wives for them that remain? since we have sworn by Jehovah that we will not give them of our daughters for wives. Judg. 21:7

- I went out full, and Jehovah has brought me home again empty. Why do ye call me Naomi, seeing Jehovah has brought me low, and the Almighty has afflicted me? Ruth 1:21
- And it shall be, when he lies down, that thou shalt mark the place where he shall have lain down, and thou shalt go in, and uncover his feet, and lay thyself down; and he will shew thee what thou shalt do. Ruth 3:4
- And she said to her, All that thou sayest will I do. Ruth 3:5
- And now, my daughter, fear not: all that thou sayest will I do to thee; for all the gate of my people knows that thou art a woman of worth. Ruth 3:11

- Do not multiply your words of pride, let not vain-glory come out of your mouth; For Jehovah is a *God of knowledge, and by him actions are weighed. 1 Sam. 2:3
- And he said to them, Why do ye such things? for I hear of your evil deeds from all this people. 1 Sam. 2:23
- Wherefore do ye trample upon my sacrifice and upon mine oblation which I have commanded in my habitation? And thou honourest thy sons above me, to make yourselves fat with the primest of all the oblations of Israel my people. 1 Sam. 2:29
- And I will raise up for myself a faithful priest, who shall do according to what is in my heart and in my mind; and I will build him a sure house; and he shall walk before mine anointed continually. 1 Sam. 2:35
- And Jehovah said to Samuel, Behold, I do a thing in Israel, at which both the ears of every one that heareth it shall tingle. 1 Sam. 3:11
- And he said, What is the word that he has spoken to thee? I pray thee, keep it not back from me: God do so to thee, and more also, if thou keep back anything from me of all the word that he spoke to thee. 1 Sam. 3:17

- And it shall be, when these signs shall come to thee, thou shalt do as thy hand shall find; for God is with thee. 1 Sam. 10:7

- And David went thence to Mizpeh in Moab, and said to the king of Moab, Let my father and my mother, I pray thee, come forth amongst you, till I know what God will do for me. 1 Sam. 22:3
- And David's men said to him, Behold the day of which Jehovah said to thee, Behold, I will give thine enemy into thy hand, that thou mayest do to him as it shall seem good to thee. And David arose, and cut off the skirt of Saul's robe secretly. 1 Sam. 24:4
- And he said to his men, Jehovah forbid that I should do this thing to my master, Jehovah's anointed, to stretch forth my hand against him, for he is the anointed of Jehovah. 1 Sam. 24:6
- Jehovah therefore shall be judge, and judge between me and thee, and see, and plead my cause, and do me justice in delivering me out of thy hand. 1 Sam. 24:15
- And now know and consider what thou wilt do, for evil is determined against our master, and against all his household; and he is such a son of Belial, that one cannot speak to him. 1 Sam. 25:17

- Then said David, Ye shall not do so, my brethren, with that which Jehovah has given us, who has preserved us, and given the troop that came against us into our hand. 1 Sam. 30:23
- Then was Abner very wroth for the words of Ishbosheth, and said, Am I a dog's head, I who against Judah do shew kindness this day to the house of Saul thy father, to his brethren, and to his friends, and have not delivered thee into the hand of David, that thou reproachest me this day with the fault of this woman? 2 Sam. 3:8
- So do God to Abner, and more also, if, as Jehovah has sworn to David, I do not so to him; 2 Sam. 3:9
- and now do it, for Jehovah has spoken of David, saying, By my servant David will I save my people Israel out of the hand of the Philistines, and out of the hand of all their enemies. 2 Sam. 3:18
- And all the people came to cause David to eat bread while it was yet day; but David swore, saying, So do God to me, and more also, if I taste bread or aught else till the sun be down! 2 Sam. 3:35
- And Nathan said to the king, Go, do all that is in thy heart; for Jehovah is with thee. 2 Sam. 7:3

- And it came to pass on the seventh day, that the child died. - hear thou in the heavens thy dwelling-place, and do according to all that the stranger calleth to thee for; in order that all peoples of the earth may know thy name, and that they may fear thee as do thy people Israel; and that they may know that this house which I have built is called by thy name. 1 Ki. 8:43
- And it came to pass when Solomon had completed the building of the house of Jehovah, and the king's house, and all Solomon's desire which he was pleased to do, 1 Ki. 9:1
- And as for thee, if thou wilt walk before me, as David thy father walked, in integrity of heart, and in uprightness, to do according to all that I have commanded thee, and wilt keep my statutes and mine ordinances; 1 Ki. 9:4
- Blessed be Jehovah thy God, who delighted in thee, to set thee on the throne of Israel! Because Jehovah loves Israel for ever, therefore did he make thee king, to do judgment and justice. 1 Ki. 10:9
- notwithstanding in thy days I will not do it, for David thy father's sake; I will rend it out of the hand of thy son; 1 Ki. 11:12
- because they have forsaken me, and have worshipped Ashtoreth the goddess of the Zidonians, Chemosh the god of the Moabites, and Milcom the god of the children of Ammon, and have not walked in my ways, to do that which is right in my sight, and my statutes and mine ordinances, as David his father. 1 Ki. 11:33
- And it shall be, if thou wilt hearken unto all that I command thee, and wilt walk in my ways, and do that which is right in my sight, in keeping my statutes and my commandments, as David my servant did, that I will be with thee, and build thee a lasting house, as I built for David, and will give Israel unto thee. 1 Ki. 11:38
- And king Rehoboam consulted with the old men, who had stood before Solomon his father while he yet lived, saying, How do ye advise to return answer to this people? 1 Ki. 12:6
- If this people go up to do sacrifice in the house of Jehovah at Jerusalem, the heart of this people will turn again to their lord, to Rehoboam king of Judah, and they will kill me, and return to Rehoboam king of Judah. 1 Ki. 12:27
- and rent the kingdom away from the house of David, and gave it thee; and thou hast not been as my servant David, who kept my commandments, and who followed me with all his heart, to do only that which is right in my sight; 1 Ki. 14:8
- And Elijah said to her, Fear not; go, do as thou hast said; but make me thereof a little cake first; and bring it to me; and afterwards make for thee and for thy son. 1 Ki. 17:13
- And she said to Elijah, What have I to do with thee, O thou man of God? art thou come to me to call mine iniquity to remembrance, and to slay my son? 1 Ki. 17:18
- Then Elijah drew near to all the people, and said, How long do ye halt between two opinions? if Jehovah be God, follow him; and if Baal, follow him. And the people answered him not a word. 1 Ki. 18:21
- And he said, Do it the second time. And they did it the second time. And he said, Do it the third time. And they did it the third time. 1 Ki. 18:34
- And Jezebel sent a messenger to Elijah saying, So do the gods to me, and more also, if I make not thy life as the life of one of them by to-morrow about this time! 1 Ki. 19:2
- And he said to the messengers of Ben-Hadad, Tell my lord the king, All that thou didst send for to thy servant at the first I will do; but this thing I cannot do. And the messengers departed, and brought him word again. 1 Ki. 20:9
- And Ben-Hadad sent to him and said, The gods do so to me, and more also, if the dust of Samaria shall suffice for handfuls for all the people that follow me! 1 Ki. 20:10
- And the prophet drew near to the king of Israel, and said to him, Go, strengthen thyself, and understand, and see what thou shalt do; for at the return of the year the king of Syria will come up against thee. 1 Ki. 20:22
- And do this: take the kings away, every man out of his place, and put governors in their stead; 1 Ki. 20:24
- And Ahab said to Elijah, Hast thou found me, mine enemy? And he said, I have found thee; because thou hast sold thyself to do evil in the sight of Jehovah. 1 Ki. 21:20
- (Surely there was none like to Ahab, who did sell himself to do evil in the sight of Jehovah, Jezebel his wife urging him on. 1 Ki. 21:25
- And the king of Israel said to his servants, Do ye know that Ramoth in Gilead is ours, and we keep quiet without taking it out of the hand of the king of Syria? 1 Ki. 22:3
- And Jehovah said unto him, Wherewith? And he said, I will go forth, and will be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets. And he said, Thou shalt entice him, and also succeed: go forth, and do so. 1 Ki. 22:22
- And it came to pass when they had gone over, that Elijah said to Elisha, Ask what I shall do for thee, before I am taken away from thee. And Elisha said, I pray thee, let a double portion of thy spirit be upon me. 2 Ki. 2:9
- And Elisha said to the king of Israel, What have I to do with thee? go to the prophets of thy father and to the prophets of thy mother. And the king of Israel said to him, Not so, for Jehovah has called these three kings to give them into the hand of Moab. 2 Ki. 3:13
- And Elisha said to her, What shall I do for thee? Tell me, what hast thou in the house? And she said, Thy handmaid has not anything at all in the house but a pot of oil. 2 Ki. 4:2
- And he said, At this appointed time, when thy term is come, thou shalt embrace a son. And she said, No, my lord, man of God, do not lie to thy handmaid. 2 Ki. 4:16
- And she said, Did I desire a son of my lord? did I not say, Do not deceive me? 2 Ki. 4:28
- And his servants drew near, and spoke to him and said, My father, if the prophet had bidden thee do some great thing, wouldest thou not have done it? how much rather then, when he says to thee, Wash and be clean? 2 Ki. 5:13
- And when the attendant of the man of God rose early and went forth, behold, an army surrounded the city, with horses and chariots. And his servant said to him, Alas, my master! how shall we do? 2 Ki. 6:15
- And he said, If Jehovah do not help thee, whence should I help thee? Out of the threshing-floor, or out of the winepress? 2 Ki. 6:27
- And he said, God do so, and more also to me, if the head of Elisha the son of Shaphat shall remain on him this day! 2 Ki. 6:31
- And Elisha sat in his house, and the elders sat with him. And the king sent a man before him. Before the messenger came to him, he himself said to the elders, Do ye see how this son of a murderer has sent to take away my head? See, when the messenger comes; shut the door, and keep him off with the door: is not the sound of his master's feet behind him? 2 Ki. 6:32
- And there were four leprous men at the entrance of the gate, and they said one to another, Why do we abide here until we die? 2 Ki. 7:3
- And Hazael said, Why does my lord weep? And he said, Because I know the evil that thou wilt do to the children of Israel: their strongholds wilt thou set on fire, and their young men wilt thou kill with the sword, and wilt dash in pieces their children, and rip up their women with child. 2 Ki. 8:12
- And Hazael said, But what, is thy servant a dog, that he should do this great thing? And Elisha said, Jehovah has shewn me that thou wilt be king over Syria. 2 Ki. 8:13
- So there went one on horseback to meet him; and he said, Thus saith the king: Is it peace? And Jehu said, What hast thou to do with peace? turn thee behind me. And the watchman told saying, The messenger came to them, and he does not return. 2 Ki. 9:18
- And he sent out a second on horseback; and he came to them and said, Thus saith the king: Is it peace? And Jehu said, What hast thou to do with peace? turn thee behind me. 2 Ki. 9:19
- And he that was over the house, and he that was over the city, and the elders, and the guardians sent to Jehu, saying, We are thy servants, and will do all that thou shalt bid us; we will not make any one king; do what is good in thy sight. 2 Ki. 10:5
- And now call me all the prophets of Baal, all his servants, and all his priests: let none be wanting; for I have a great sacrifice to do to Baal; whoever shall be wanting shall not live. But Jehu did it in subtilty, in order that he might bring destruction upon the servants of Baal. 2 Ki. 10:19
- And he commanded them saying, This is the thing which ye shall do: a third part of you, that come in on the sabbath, shall be keepers of the watch of the king's house; 2 Ki. 11:5
- and they served idols, as to which Jehovah had said to them, Ye shall not do this thing. 2 Ki. 17:12
- And they rejected his statutes, and his covenant which he had made with their fathers, and his testimonies which he had testified unto them; and they followed vanity and became vain, and went after the nations that were round about them, concerning whom Jehovah had charged them that they should not do like them. 2 Ki. 17:15
- and they caused their sons and their daughters to pass through the fire, and used divination and enchantments, and sold themselves to do evil in the sight of Jehovah, to provoke him to anger. 2 Ki. 17:17
- To this day they do after their former customs: they fear not Jehovah, neither do they after their statutes or after their ordinances, nor after the law and commandment that Jehovah commanded the sons of Jacob, whom he named Israel. 2 Ki. 17:34
- but Jehovah alone, who brought you up out of the land of Egypt with great power and a stretched-out arm, him shall ye fear, and him shall ye worship, and to him shall ye do sacrifice. 2 Ki. 17:36
- And the statutes and the ordinances and the law, and the commandment which he wrote for you, ye shall observe to do for evermore; and ye shall not fear other gods. 2 Ki. 17:37
- And these nations feared Jehovah, and served their graven images, both their children and their children's children: as did their fathers, so do they, unto this day. 2 Ki. 17:41
- because they hearkened not to the voice of Jehovah their God, but transgressed his covenant, all that Moses the servant of Jehovah commanded; and they would not hear nor do it. 2 Ki. 18:12
- For out of Jerusalem shall go forth a remnant, And out of mount Zion they that escape: The zeal of Jehovah of hosts shall do this. 2 Ki. 19:31
- And Isaiah said, This shall be the sign to thee from Jehovah, that Jehovah will do the thing that he hath spoken: shall the shadow go forward ten degrees, or go back ten degrees? 2 Ki. 20:9
- neither will I any more cause the foot of Israel to wander away from the land that I gave their fathers; if they will only take heed to do according to all that I have commanded them, and according to all the law that my servant Moses commanded them. 2 Ki. 21:8
- But they would not hearken, and Manasseh led them astray to do more evil than the nations that Jehovah had destroyed from before the children of Israel. 2 Ki. 21:9
- and let them give it into the hand of them that do the work, that have the oversight of the house of Jehovah; and let them give it to those that do the work in the house of Jehovah, to repair the breaches of the house, 2 Ki. 22:5
- And Shaphan the scribe came to the king, and brought the king word again and said, Thy servants have emptied out the money that was found in the house, and have delivered it into the hand of them that do the work, that have the oversight of the house of Jehovah. 2 Ki. 22:9
- Go, inquire of Jehovah for me, and for the people, and for all Judah, concerning the words of this book which is found; for great is the wrath of Jehovah that is kindled against us, because our fathers have not hearkened to the words of this book, to do according to all that is written there for us. 2 Ki. 22:13
- And he said, My God forbid it me, that I should do this thing! should I drink the blood of these men who went at the risk of their lives? for at the risk of their lives they brought it. Therefore he would not drink it. These things did the three mighty men. 1 Chr. 11:19

- and the priests could not stand to do their service because of the cloud; for the glory of Jehovah had filled the house of God. 2 Chr. 5:14
- then hear thou from the heavens, and do, and judge thy servants, requiting the wicked, to bring his way upon his own head; and justifying the righteous, giving him according to his righteousness. 2 Chr. 6:23

- And what cause soever comes to you of your brethren that dwell in their cities, between blood and blood, between law and commandment, statutes and ordinances, ye shall even warn them that they trespass not against Jehovah, and so wrath come upon you and upon your brethren: this do and ye shall not trespass. 2 Chr. 19:10
- And behold, Amariah the chief priest is over you in all matters of Jehovah, and Zebadiah the son of Ishmael, prince of the house of Judah, in all the king's matters; and ye have the Levites before you as officers. Be strong and do it, and Jehovah will be with the good. 2 Chr. 19:11
- Our God, wilt thou not judge them? for we have no might in presence of this great company which cometh against us, neither know we what to do; but our eyes are upon thee. 2 Chr. 20:12
- He also walked in the ways of the house of Ahab; for his mother was his counsellor to do wickedly. 2 Chr. 22:3
- This is the thing which ye shall do: a third part of you that come in on the sabbath, of the priests and of the Levites, shall be keepers of the doors; 2 Chr. 23:4

- And the Spirit of God came upon Zechariah the son of Jehoiada the priest; and he stood up above the people and said unto them, Thus saith God: Wherefore do ye transgress the commandments of Jehovah? And ye cannot prosper; for ye have forsaken Jehovah, and he hath forsaken you. 2 Chr. 24:20
- But if thou wilt go, do it; be strong for the battle: God will make thee fall before the enemy, for there is with God power to help and to cast down. 2 Chr. 25:8
- My sons, be not now negligent; for Jehovah has chosen you to stand before him, to do service unto him, and to be his ministers and incense-burners. 2 Chr. 29:11
- The hand of God was also upon Judah to give them one heart to do the commandment of the king and of the princes, by the word of Jehovah. 2 Chr. 30:12

- neither will I any more remove the foot of Israel from out of the land that I have appointed to your fathers; if they will only take heed to do all that I commanded them through Moses, according to all the law and the statutes and the ordinances. 2 Chr. 33:8
- And Manasseh led Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem astray, to do more evil than the nations that Jehovah had destroyed from before the children of Israel. 2 Chr. 33:9

- And he sent messengers to him, saying, What have I to do with thee, thou king of Judah? I come not against thee this day, but against the house with which I have war; and God has told me to make haste: keep aloof from God who is with me, that he destroy thee not. 2 Chr. 35:21
- But Zerubbabel and Jeshua and the rest of the chief fathers of Israel said to them, Ye have nothing to do with us to build a house to our God, but we alone will build to Jehovah the God of Israel, as king Cyrus, the king of Persia, has commanded us. Ezra 4:3
- and take heed that ye fail not to do this: why should harm grow to the damage of the kings? Ezra 4:22
- Moreover, I give orders what ye shall do to these elders of the Jews, for the building of this house of God: that of the king's goods, of the tribute beyond the river, expenses be diligently given to these men, that they be not hindered. Ezra 6:8

- Jehovah, my heart is not haughty, nor mine eyes lofty; neither do I exercise myself in great matters, and in things too wonderful for me. Ps. 131:1
- If I do not remember thee, let my tongue cleave to my palate: if I prefer not Jerusalem above my chief joy. Ps. 137:6
- Do not I hate them, O Jehovah, that hate thee? and do not I loathe them that rise up against thee? Ps. 139:21

- Cause me to hear thy loving-kindness in the morning, for in thee do I confide; make me to know the way wherein I should walk, for unto thee do I lift up my soul. Ps. 143:8
- Deliver me, O Jehovah, from mine enemies: unto thee do I flee for refuge. Ps. 143:9
- Teach me to do thy will; for thou art my God: let thy good Spirit lead me in a plain country. Ps. 143:10
- who rejoice to do evil, and delight in the frowardness of evil; Pr. 2:14
- none that go unto her return again, neither do they attain to the paths of life: Pr. 2:19
- Withhold not good from them to whom it is due, when it is in the power of thy hand to do it. Pr. 3:27
- Do this now, my son, and deliver thyself, since thou hast come into the hand of thy friend: go, humble thyself, and be urgent with thy friend. Pr. 6:3
- They do not despise a thief, if he steal to satisfy his soul when he is hungry: Pr. 6:30
- The fear of Jehovah is to hate evil; pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth do I hate. Pr. 8:13
- It is as sport to a foolish man to do wickedness; but a man of understanding hath wisdom. Pr. 10:23
- Do they not err that devise evil? but loving-kindness and truth are for those that devise good. Pr. 14:22
- Excellent speech becometh not a vile man; how much less do lying lips a noble! Pr. 17:7
- All the brethren of a poor man hate him; how much more do his friends go far from him: he pursueth them with words, -- they are not to be found. Pr. 19:7
- A man of great wrath shall suffer punishment; for if thou deliver him, yet thou must do it again. Pr. 19:19
- The devastation of the wicked sweepeth them away, because they refuse to do what is right. Pr. 21:7
- It is joy to a righteous man to do what is right; but it is ruin for the workers of iniquity. Pr. 21:15
- He that deviseth to do evil shall be called a master of intrigues. Pr. 24:8
- Say not, I will do so to him as he hath done to me, I will render to the man according to his work. Pr. 24:29

- learn to do well: seek judgment, gladden the oppressed, do justice to the fatherless, plead for the widow. Isa. 1:17

- And what will ye do in the day of visitation, and in the sudden destruction which shall come from far? To whom will ye flee for help, and where will ye leave your glory? Isa. 10:3
- -- shall I not, as I have done unto Samaria and her idols, so do to Jerusalem and her images? Isa. 10:11
- Behold, I will stir up the Medes against them, who do not regard silver, and as for gold, they have no delight in it. Isa. 13:17

- declare the things that are to happen hereafter, that we may know that ye are gods; yea, do good, or do evil, that we may be astonished, and behold it together. Isa. 41:23
- Behold, the former things are come to pass, and new things do I declare: before they spring forth will I cause you to hear them. Isa. 42:9
- And I will bring the blind by a way that they know not, in paths that they know not will I lead them; I will make darkness light before them, and crooked things straight. These things will I do unto them, and not forsake them. Isa. 42:16
- behold, I do a new thing; now it shall spring forth: shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, rivers in the waste. Isa. 43:19
- forming the light and creating darkness, making peace and creating evil: I, Jehovah, do all these things. Isa. 45:7
- declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure; Isa. 46:10
- calling a bird of prey from the east, the man of my counsel from a far country. Yea, I have spoken, I will also bring it to pass; I have purposed it, I will also do it. Isa. 46:11
- For mine own sake, for mine own sake, will I do it; for how should my name be profaned? and I will not give my glory unto another. Isa. 48:11
- Wherefore do ye spend money for that which is not bread? and your labour for that which satisfieth not? Hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness. Isa. 55:2
- so shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall do that which I please, and it shall accomplish that for which I send it. Isa. 55:11
- Thus saith Jehovah: Keep ye judgment and do righteousness; for my salvation is near to come, and my righteousness to be revealed. Isa. 56:1
- Against whom do ye sport yourselves? Against whom do ye make a wide mouth, and draw out the tongue? Are ye not children of transgression, a seed of falsehood, Isa. 57:4
- Behold, ye have fasted for strife and debate, and to smite with the fist of wickedness; ye do not at present fast, to cause your voice to be heard on high. Isa. 58:4
- Thou meetest him that rejoiceth to do righteousness, those that remember thee in thy ways: (behold, thou wast wroth, and we have sinned:) in those is perpetuity, and we shall be saved. Isa. 64:5
- Thus saith Jehovah: As the new wine is found in the cluster, and it is said, Destroy it not, for a blessing is in it; so will I do for my servants' sakes, that I may not destroy them all. Isa. 65:8
- The priests said not, Where is Jehovah? and they that handled the law knew me not; and the shepherds transgressed against me; and the prophets prophesied by Baal, and walked after things that do not profit. Jer. 2:8
- And now, what hast thou to do with the way of Egypt, to drink the waters of Shihor? And what hast thou to do with the way of Assyria, to drink the waters of the River? Jer. 2:18
- For my people is foolish, they have not known me; they are sottish children, and they have no intelligence; they are wise to do evil, but to do good they have no knowledge. Jer. 4:22
- -- And thou, wasted one, what wilt thou do? Though thou clothest thyself with crimson, though thou deckest thee with ornaments of gold, though thou rendest thine eyes with paint, in vain dost thou make thyself fair: thy lovers despise thee, they seek thy life. Jer. 4:30
- Will ye not fear me? saith Jehovah. Will ye not tremble at my presence, who have set the sand a bound for the sea by a perpetual decree, and it shall not pass it? and its waves toss themselves, but they do not prevail; and they roar, yet can they not pass over it? Jer. 5:22
- They are become fat, they shine, yea, they surpass in deeds of wickedness; they judge not the cause, the cause of the fatherless, and they prosper; and the right of the needy do they not adjudge. Jer. 5:28
- the prophets prophesy falsehood, and the priests rule by their means; and my people love to have it so. But what will ye do in the end thereof? Jer. 5:31
- The comely and delicate one do I cut off, the daughter of Zion. Jer. 6:2
- But if ye thoroughly amend your ways and your doings, if ye really do justice between a man and his neighbour, Jer. 7:5
- then ye come and stand before me, in this house which is called by my name, and say, We are delivered, -- in order to do all these abominations! Jer. 7:10
- I will even do unto the house which is called by my name, wherein ye trust, and unto the place which I gave to you and to your fathers, as I have done to Shiloh; Jer. 7:14
- Seest thou not what they do in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem? Jer. 7:17
- And thou shalt say unto them, Thus saith Jehovah: Do men fall, and not rise up? Doth one turn away, and not return? Jer. 8:4
- How do ye say, We are wise, and the law of Jehovah is with us? Behold, certainly the lying pen of the scribes hath made it falsehood. Jer. 8:8
- Why do we sit still? Assemble yourselves, and let us enter into the fenced cities, and let us be silent there: for Jehovah our God hath put us to silence, and given us water of gall to drink, because we have sinned against Jehovah. Jer. 8:14
- Therefore thus saith Jehovah of hosts: Behold, I will melt them, and try them; for how else could I do for the daughter of my people? Jer. 9:7
- They are as a palm-column of turned work, and they speak not; they are carried, for they cannot go. Be not afraid of them; for they cannot do evil, neither also is it in them to do good. Jer. 10:5
- which I commanded your fathers in the day that I brought them forth out of the land of Egypt, from the iron furnace, saying, Hearken unto my voice and do them, according to all that I command you; so shall ye be my people, and I will be your God: Jer. 11:4
- And Jehovah said unto me, Proclaim all these words in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem, saying: Hear the words of this covenant, and do them. Jer. 11:6
- But they have not hearkened, nor inclined their ear, but have walked every one in the stubbornness of their evil heart; and I have brought upon them all the words of this covenant, which I commanded them to do, and they have not done. Jer. 11:8
- What hath my beloved to do in my house, seeing that the more part practise their evil devices, and the holy flesh is passed from thee? When thou doest evil, then thou rejoicest. Jer. 11:15
- If thou hast run with footmen, and they have wearied thee, how wilt thou then contend with horses? And if in a land of peace thou thinkest thyself in security, how wilt thou then do in the swelling of the Jordan? Jer. 12:5
- They have sown wheat, and they reap thorns; they have put themselves to pain, and do not profit. Be ye therefore ashamed of your revenues, because of the fierce anger of Jehovah. Jer. 12:13
- And thou shalt speak unto them this word: Thus saith Jehovah, the God of Israel, Every skin shall be filled with wine. And they will say unto thee, Do we not very well know that every skin shall be filled with wine? Jer. 13:12
- Can an Ethiopian change his skin, or a leopard his spots? Then may ye also do good, who are accustomed to do evil. Jer. 13:23
- Jehovah, though our iniquities testify against us, do thou act for thy name's sake; for our backslidings are many -- we have sinned against thee. Jer. 14:7
- For thy name's sake, do not spurn us, do not disgrace the throne of thy glory: remember, break not thy covenant with us. Jer. 14:21
- and carry forth no burden out of your houses on the sabbath day, neither do any work; but hallow ye the sabbath day, as I commanded your fathers, Jer. 17:22
- And it shall come to pass, if ye diligently hearken unto me, saith Jehovah, to bring in no burden through the gates of this city on the sabbath day, and to hallow the sabbath day, to do no work therein; Jer. 17:24
- House of Israel, cannot I do with you as this potter? saith Jehovah. Behold, as the clay in the potter's hand, so are ye in my hand, house of Israel. Jer. 18:6
- if that nation, concerning which I have spoken, turn from their evil, then I will repent of the evil that I thought to do unto them. Jer. 18:8
- if it do evil in my sight, that it hearken not unto my voice, then I will repent of the good wherewith I said I would benefit them. Jer. 18:10
- But they say, There is no hope; for we will walk after our own devices, and we will each one do according to the stubbornness of his evil heart. Jer. 18:12
- Thus will I do unto this place, saith Jehovah, and to the inhabitants thereof, and make this city as Topheth. Jer. 19:12
- Thus saith Jehovah: Execute judgment and righteousness, and deliver the spoiled out of the hand of the oppressor; and do no wrong, do no violence to the stranger, the fatherless, or the widow, and shed not innocent blood in this place. Jer. 22:3
- For if ye do this thing indeed, then shall there enter in through the gates of this house kings sitting in the place of David upon his throne, riding in chariots and on horses, -- he, and his servants, and his people. Jer. 22:4
- Shalt thou reign, because thou viest with the cedar? Did not thy father eat and drink, and do judgment and justice? Then it was well with him. Jer. 22:15
- But thine eyes and thy heart are only on thine extortion, and on the blood of the innocent, to shed it, and on oppression and on violence, to do it. Jer. 22:17
- Can any hide himself in secret places, that I shall not see him? saith Jehovah. Do not I fill the heavens and the earth? saith Jehovah. Jer. 23:24
- And go not after other gods, to serve them and to worship them; and provoke me not to anger with the work of your hands; and I will do you no hurt. Jer. 25:6
- Peradventure they will hearken, and turn every man from his evil way, that I may repent me of the evil which I purpose to do unto them because of the wickedness of their doings. Jer. 26:3
- But as for me, behold, I am in your hand; do unto me as seemeth good and right in your eyes: Jer. 26:14
- And the prophet Jeremiah said, Amen, may Jehovah do so! may Jehovah perform thy words which thou hast prophesied, to bring again from Babylon, into this place, the vessels of Jehovah's house, and all them of the captivity! Jer. 28:6
- therefore thus saith Jehovah: Behold, I will punish Shemaiah the Nehelamite, and his seed: he shall not have a man to dwell among this people; neither shall he see the good that I will do for my people, saith Jehovah; because he hath spoken revolt against Jehovah. Jer. 29:32
- Ask ye now, and see, whether a male doth travail with child? Wherefore do I see every man with his hands on his loins, as a woman in travail; and all faces are turned into paleness? Jer. 30:6
- Is Ephraim a dear son unto me? is he a child of delights? For whilst I have been speaking against him, I do constantly remember him still. Therefore my bowels are troubled for him: I will certainly have mercy upon him, saith Jehovah. Jer. 31:20
- And they came in and possessed it: but they hearkened not unto thy voice, neither walked in thy law; they have done nothing of all that thou commandedst them to do; so that thou hast caused all this evil to come upon them. Jer. 32:23
- and they have built the high places of Baal, which are in the valley of the son of Hinnom, to cause to pass through the fire their sons and their daughters unto Molech: which I commanded them not, neither came it into my mind, that they should do this abomination, to cause Judah to sin. Jer. 32:35
- And I will make an everlasting covenant with them, that I will not draw back from them, to do them good; and I will put my fear in their heart, that they may not turn aside from me. Jer. 32:40
- And I will rejoice over them to do them good, and I will assuredly plant them in this land with my whole heart and with my whole soul. Jer. 32:41
- And it shall be to me a name of joy, a praise and a glory before all the nations of the earth, which shall hear of all the good that I do unto them; and they shall fear and tremble for all the good and for all the prosperity that I procure unto it. Jer. 33:9
- neither shall there fail to the priests the Levites a man before me to offer up burnt-offerings, and to burn oblations, and to do sacrifice continually. Jer. 33:18
- It may be the house of Judah will hear all the evil that I purpose to do unto them, that they may return every man from his evil way, and that I may forgive their iniquity and their sin. Jer. 36:3
- And king Zedekiah said, Behold, he is in your hand; for the king is not he that can do a thing against you. Jer. 38:5
- Take him, and keep an eye upon him, and do him no harm; but do unto him even as he shall say unto thee. Jer. 39:12
- But Gedaliah the son of Ahikam said unto Johanan the son of Kareah, Thou shalt not do this thing; for thou speakest falsely of Ishmael. Jer. 40:16
- But ten men were found among them that said unto Ishmael, Do not kill us, for we have hidden stores in the field, of wheat, and of barley, and of oil, and of honey. So he forbore, and did not kill them among their brethren. Jer. 41:8
- came near and said unto Jeremiah the prophet, Let, we beseech thee, our supplication come before thee, and pray for us unto Jehovah thy God, for all this remnant (for we are left a few of many, as thine eyes do behold us); Jer. 42:2
- that Jehovah thy God may shew us the way wherein we should walk, and the thing that we should do. Jer. 42:3
- And they said to Jeremiah, Jehovah be a true and faithful witness amongst us, if we do not even according to all the word for which Jehovah thy God shall send thee to us. Jer. 42:5
- For ye deceived yourselves in your own souls, when ye sent me unto Jehovah your God, saying, Pray for us unto Jehovah our God; and according to all that Jehovah our God shall say, so declare unto us, and we will do it. Jer. 42:20
- And I sent unto you all my servants the prophets, rising early and sending, saying, Oh, do not this abominable thing which I hate! Jer. 44:4
- but we will certainly do every word that is gone forth out of our mouth, to burn incense to the queen of the heavens, and to pour out drink-offerings to her, as we have done, we and our fathers, our kings and our princes, in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem; and we had plenty of bread, and were well, and saw no evil. Jer. 44:17
- Thus shalt thou say unto him, Thus saith Jehovah: Behold, what I have built do I overthrow, and what I have planted I pluck up, even this whole land. Jer. 45:4
- Why do I see them dismayed, turned away back? And their mighty ones are beaten down, and take to flight, and look not back? Terror is on every side, saith Jehovah. Jer. 46:5
- How do ye say, We are mighty, and men of valour for the war? Jer. 48:14
- I know his wrath, saith Jehovah; his pratings are vain: they do not as they say. Jer. 48:30
- Shout against her round about: she hath given her hand; her ramparts are fallen, her walls are thrown down: for this is the vengeance of Jehovah. Take vengeance upon her; as she hath done, do unto her. Jer. 50:15
- Go up against the land of double rebellion, against it, and against the inhabitants of visitation; waste and utterly destroy after them, saith Jehovah, and do according to all that I have commanded thee. Jer. 50:21
- Call together the archers against Babylon, all those that bend the bow: encamp against her round about; let there be no escaping: recompense her according to her work; according to all that she hath done, do unto her: for she hath acted proudly against Jehovah, against the Holy One of Israel. Jer. 50:29
- And the land trembleth and is in pain; for the purposes of Jehovah against Babylon do stand, to make the land of Babylon a desolation, without inhabitant. Jer. 51:29
- The ways of Zion do mourn, because none come to the solemn assembly: all her gates are desolate; her priests sigh, her virgins are in grief; and as for her, she is in bitterness. Lam. 1:4
- Let all their wickedness come before thee; and do unto them, as thou hast done unto me for all my transgressions: for my sighs are many, and my heart is faint. Lam. 1:22
- And when a righteous man doth turn from his righteousness, and do what is wrong, and I lay a stumbling-block before him, he shall die; because thou hast not given him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteous acts which he hath done shall not be remembered; but his blood will I require at thy hand. Ezek. 3:20
- and I will do in thee that which I have not done, and whereunto I will not do any more the like, because of all thine abominations. Ezek. 5:9
- and say, Mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord Jehovah: thus saith the Lord Jehovah to the mountains and to the hills, to the water-courses and to the valleys: Behold, I, even I, do bring a sword upon you, and will destroy your high places. Ezek. 6:3
- And they shall know that I am Jehovah: I have not said in vain that I would do this evil unto them. Ezek. 6:10
- The king shall mourn, and the prince shall be clothed with dismay, and the hands of the people of the land shall tremble: I will do unto them according to their way, and with their judgments will I judge them; and they shall know that I am Jehovah. Ezek. 7:27
- And he said unto me, Son of man, seest thou what they do? the great abominations that the house of Israel commit here, to cause me to go far off from my sanctuary? And yet again thou shalt see great abominations. Ezek. 8:6
- And he said unto me, Go in, and behold the wicked abominations that they do here. Ezek. 8:9
- And he said unto me, Hast thou seen, son of man, what the elders of the house of Israel do in the dark, every one in his chambers of imagery? for they say, Jehovah seeth us not; Jehovah hath forsaken the land. Ezek. 8:12
- And he said unto me, Yet again thou shalt see great abominations which they do. Ezek. 8:13
- that they may walk in my statutes, and keep mine ordinances, and do them; and they shall be my people, and I will be their God. Ezek. 11:20
- Shall wood be taken thereof to do any work? or will men take a pin of it to hang any vessel thereon? Ezek. 15:3
- No eye pitied thee, to do any of these unto thee, to have compassion upon thee; but thou wast cast out in the open field, from abhorrence of thy person, in the day that thou wast born. Ezek. 16:5
- Neither shall Pharaoh with a mighty army and a great assemblage do anything for him in the war, when they cast up mounds and build forts to cut off many persons. Ezek. 17:17
- And all the trees of the field shall know that I Jehovah have brought down the high tree, have exalted the low tree, have dried up the green tree, and made the dry tree to flourish: I Jehovah have spoken, and will do it. Ezek. 17:24
- And if a man be righteous, and do judgment and justice: Ezek. 18:5
- And the wicked, if he turn from all his sins which he hath committed, and keep all my statutes, and do judgment and justice, he shall certainly live, he shall not die. Ezek. 18:21
- And I gave them my statutes, and made known unto them mine ordinances, which if a man do, he shall live by them. Ezek. 20:11
- But the house of Israel rebelled against me in the wilderness: they walked not in my statutes, and they rejected mine ordinances, which if a man do, he shall live by them; and my sabbaths they greatly profaned: and I said I would pour out my fury upon them in the wilderness, to consume them. - I am Jehovah your God: walk in my statutes, and keep mine ordinances, and do them; Ezek. 20:19
- And the children rebelled against me: they walked not in my statutes, neither kept mine ordinances to do them, which if a man do, he shall live by them; they profaned my sabbaths: and I said I would pour out my fury upon them, to accomplish mine anger against them in the wilderness. Ezek. 20:21
- Therefore say unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Do ye defile yourselves after the manner of your fathers? and do ye commit fornication after their abominations? Ezek. 20:30
- Shall thy heart endure, shall thy hands be strong, in the days that I shall deal with thee? I Jehovah have spoken, and will do it. Ezek. 22:14
- her priests do violence to my law, and profane my holy things: they put no difference between the holy and profane, neither do they make known the difference between the unclean and the clean, and they hide their eyes from my sabbaths, and I am profaned among them. Ezek. 22:26
- And I will cause lewdness to cease out of the land, and all women shall receive instruction and shall not do according to your lewdness. Ezek. 23:48
- I Jehovah have spoken it: it shall come to pass, and I will do it; I will not go back, neither will I spare, nor will I repent. According to thy ways, and according to thy doings, shall they judge thee, saith the Lord Jehovah. Ezek. 24:14
- And ye shall do as I have done: ye shall not cover the beard, neither eat the bread of men; Ezek. 24:22

- And I will execute my vengeance upon Edom, by the hand of my people Israel; and they shall do in Edom according to mine anger and according to my fury; and they shall know my vengeance, saith the Lord Jehovah. Ezek. 25:14
- Son of man, Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon caused his army to do hard service against Tyre; every head was made bald, and every shoulder was peeled: yet had he from Tyre no wages, nor his army, for the service that he had served against it. Ezek. 29:18
- Upon his fallen trunk do all the fowl of the heavens dwell, and all the beasts of the field are upon his branches: Ezek. 31:13
- But if thou warn the wicked of his way to turn from it, and he do not turn from his way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul. Ezek. 33:9
- And they come unto thee as a people cometh, and they sit before thee as my people, and they hear thy words, but they do them not; for with their mouth they shew much love, but their heart goeth after their dishonest gain. Ezek. 33:31
- And behold, thou art unto them as a lovely song, a pleasant voice, and one that playeth well on an instrument; and they hear thy words, but they do them not. Ezek. 33:32
- therefore, as I live, saith the Lord Jehovah, I will even do according to thine anger and according to thine envy, as thou hast done out of thy hatred against them; and I will make myself known among them, when I shall judge thee. Ezek. 35:11
- As thou didst rejoice at the inheritance of the house of Israel, because it was desolated, so will I do unto thee: thou shalt be a desolation, O mount Seir, and all Edom, the whole of it: and they shall know that I am Jehovah. Ezek. 35:15
- Therefore say unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: I do not this for your sakes, O house of Israel, but for my holy name, which ye have profaned among the nations whither ye went. Ezek. 36:22
- And I will put my Spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes and keep mine ordinances, and ye shall do them. Ezek. 36:27
- Not for your sakes do I this, saith the Lord Jehovah, be it known unto you: be ashamed and confounded for your ways, O house of Israel. Ezek. 36:32
- And the nations that shall be left round about you shall know that I Jehovah build the ruined places and plant that which was desolate: I Jehovah have spoken, and I will do it. Ezek. 36:36
- Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: I will yet for this be inquired of by the house of Israel, to do it unto them; I will increase them with men like a flock. Ezek. 36:37
- And David my servant shall be king over them; and they all shall have one shepherd: and they shall walk in mine ordinances, and keep my statutes, and do them. Ezek. 37:24
- And the nations shall know that I Jehovah do hallow Israel, when my sanctuary shall be in the midst of them for ever. Ezek. 37:28
- And if they be confounded at all that they have done, make known to them the form of the house, and its fashion, and its goings out, and its comings in, and all its forms, and all its statutes, yea, all the forms thereof, and all the laws thereof; and write it in their sight, that they may keep the whole form thereof, and all the statutes thereof, and do them. Ezek. 43:11
- And they shall not draw near unto me, to do the office of a priest unto me, nor to draw near to any of my holy things, even to the most holy; but they shall bear their confusion, and their abominations which they have committed. Ezek. 44:13
- This is the holy portion of the land; it shall be for the priests who do the service of the sanctuary, who draw near to serve Jehovah, and it shall be a place for their houses, and a holy place for the sanctuary. Ezek. 45:4
- And a space of five and twenty thousand in length, and ten thousand in breadth, shall the Levites, who do the service of the house, have for themselves, for a possession, for their habitations. Ezek. 45:5
- So thou shalt do also on the seventh of the month for every one that erreth, and for the simple; and ye shall make atonement for the house. Ezek. 45:20
- In the seventh month, on the fifteenth day of the month, at the feast, shall he do the like seven days, according to the sin-offering, according to the burnt-offering, and according to the oblation, and according to the oil. Ezek. 45:25
- And he said unto me, These are the boiling-houses, where those who do the service of the house shall boil the sacrifice of the people. Ezek. 46:24
- The king answered and said to the Chaldeans, The command is gone forth from me: If ye do not make known unto me the dream, and its interpretation, ye shall be cut in pieces, and your houses shall be made a dunghill. Dan. 2:5
- but if ye do not make known unto me the dream, there is but one decree for you; for ye have prepared lying and corrupt words to speak before me, till the time be changed: therefore tell me the dream, and I shall know that ye can shew me its interpretation. Dan. 2:9
- And whereas it was commanded to leave the stump of the roots of the tree; thy kingdom shall remain unto thee, after that thou shalt know that the heavens do rule. Dan. 4:26
- Incline thine ear, O my God, and hear; open thine eyes and behold our desolations, and the city that is called by thy name: for we do not present our supplications before thee because of our righteousnesses, but because of thy manifold mercies. Dan. 9:18
- Lord, hear! Lord, forgive! Lord, hearken and do! defer not, for thine own sake, O my God! for thy city and thy people are called by thy name. Dan. 9:19
- And a mighty king shall stand up that shall rule with great dominion, and do according to his will. Dan. 11:3
- And he that cometh against him shall do according to his own will, and none shall stand before him; and he shall stand in the land of beauty, and destruction shall be in his hand. Dan. 11:16
- In time of peace shall he enter even into the fattest places of the province; and he shall do that which his fathers have not done, nor his fathers' fathers: he shall scatter among them prey, and spoil, and substance, and he shall plan his devices against the fortified places, even for a time. Dan. 11:24
- And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he pervert by flatteries; but the people that know their God shall be strong, and shall act. Dan. 11:32
- And the king shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every *god, and speak monstrous things against the *God of *gods; and he shall prosper until the indignation be accomplished: for that which is determined shall be done. Dan. 11:36
- Many shall be purified, and be made white, and be refined; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand. Dan. 12:10
- But do thou go thy way until the end; and thou shalt rest, and stand in thy lot at the end of the days. Dan. 12:13
- Their doings do not allow them to return unto their God; for the spirit of whoredoms is in the midst of them, and they know not Jehovah. Hos. 5:4
- What shall I do unto thee, Ephraim? What shall I do unto thee, Judah? For your goodness is as a morning cloud, and as the dew that early passeth away. Hos. 6:4
- And they say not in their hearts that I remember all their wickedness: now do their own doings encompass them; they are before my face. Hos. 7:2
- And the pride of Israel testifieth to his face; and they do not return to Jehovah their God, nor seek him for all this. Hos. 7:10
- What will ye do in the day of assembly, and in the day of the feast of Jehovah? Hos. 9:5
- For now they will say, We have no king, for we feared not Jehovah; and a king, what can he do for us? Hos. 10:3
- So shall Bethel do unto you because of the wickedness of your wickedness: at day-break shall the king of Israel utterly be cut off. Hos. 10:15
- Ephraim shall say, What have I to do any more with idols? (I answer him, and I will observe him.) I am like a green fir-tree. -- From me is thy fruit found. Hos. 14:8
- How do the beasts groan! The herds of cattle are bewildered, for they have no pasture; the flocks of sheep also are in suffering. Joel 1:18
- To thee, Jehovah, do I cry; for the fire hath devoured the pastures of the wilderness, and the flame hath burned up all the trees of the field. Joel 1:19
- And I will remove far off from you him that cometh from the north, and will drive him into a land barren and desolate, his face toward the eastern sea, and his rear toward the hinder sea; and his stench shall come up, and his ill odour shall come up, for he hath exalted himself to do great things. Joel 2:20
- Be not afraid, ye beasts of the field: for the pastures of the wilderness do spring; for the tree beareth its fruit; the fig-tree and the vine yield full increase. Joel 2:22
- Yea also, what have ye to do with me, O Tyre and Zidon, and all the districts of Philistia? Will ye render me a recompence? But if ye recompense me, swiftly and speedily will I bring your recompence upon your own head; Joel 3:4
- But the Lord Jehovah will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets. Amos 3:7
- and they know not to do right, saith Jehovah, who store up violence and plunder in their palaces. Amos 3:10
- Therefore thus will I do unto thee, O Israel: because I will do this unto thee, prepare to meet thy God, O Israel. Amos 4:12
- And they said unto him, What shall we do unto thee, that the sea may be calm unto us? for the sea grew more and more tempestuous. Jonah 1:11
- And God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God repented of the evil that he had said he would do unto them, and he did it not. Jonah 3:10
- And God said to Jonah, Doest thou well to be angry for the gourd? And he said, I do well to be angry, unto death. Jonah 4:9
- Therefore thus saith Jehovah: Behold, against this family do I devise an evil, from which ye shall not remove your necks; neither shall ye walk haughtily: for it is an evil time. Mic. 2:3
- Prophesy ye not, they prophesy. If they do not prophesy to these, the ignominy will not depart. Mic. 2:6
- O thou that art named the house of Jacob, Is Jehovah impatient? are these his doings? Do not my words do good to him that walketh uprightly? Mic. 2:7
- The women of my people do ye cast out from their pleasant houses; from their young children do ye take away my magnificence for ever. Mic. 2:9
- If a man walking in wind and falsehood do lie, saying, I will prophesy unto thee of wine and of strong drink, he shall be the prophet of this people. Mic. 2:11
- The heads thereof judge for reward, and the priests thereof teach for hire, and the prophets thereof divine for money; yet do they lean upon Jehovah, and say, Is not Jehovah in the midst of us? no evil shall come upon us. Mic. 3:11
- He hath shewn thee, O man, what is good: and what doth Jehovah require of thee, but to do justly, and to love goodness, and to walk humbly with thy God? Mic. 6:8
- Both hands are for evil, to do it well. The prince asketh, and the judge is there for a reward; and the great man uttereth his soul's greed: and together they combine it. Mic. 7:3
- What do ye imagine against Jehovah? He will make a full end: trouble shall not rise up the second time. Nah. 1:9
- and them that turn back from after Jehovah, and that do not seek Jehovah, nor inquire for him. Zeph. 1:6
- And it shall come to pass at that time, that I will search Jerusalem with lamps, and punish the men that are settled on their lees, that say in their heart, Jehovah will not do good, neither will he do evil. Zeph. 1:12
- Her prophets are vain-glorious, treacherous persons; her priests profane the sanctuary, they do violence to the law. Zeph. 3:4
- Who is left among you that saw this house in its former glory? and how do ye see it now? Is it not as nothing in your eyes? Hag. 2:3
- If one bear holy flesh in the skirt of his garment, and with his skirt do touch bread, or pottage, or wine, or oil, or any food -- shall it become holy? And the priests answered and said, No. Hag. 2:12
- Your fathers, where are they? and the prophets, do they live for ever? Zech. 1:5
- But my words and my statutes, which I commanded my servants the prophets, did they not overtake your fathers? And they turned and said, Like as Jehovah of hosts thought to do unto us, according to our ways and according to our doings, so hath he dealt with us. Zech. 1:6
- And I said, What come these to do? And he spoke, saying, Those are the horns which scattered Judah, so that no man lifted up his head; but these are come to affright them, to cast out the horns of the nations, which lifted up the horn against the land of Judah to scatter it. Zech. 1:21
- And I said to the angel that talked with me, Whither do these carry the ephah? Zech. 5:10
- For thus saith Jehovah of hosts: Like as I thought to do you evil when your fathers provoked me to wrath, saith Jehovah of hosts, and I repented not; Zech. 8:14
- so again have I thought in these days to do good unto Jerusalem and to the house of Judah: fear ye not. Zech. 8:15
- These are the things that ye shall do: Speak truth every one with his neighbour; execute truth and the judgment of peace in your gates; Zech. 8:16
- Turn again to the stronghold, prisoners of hope! even to-day do I declare I will render double unto thee. Zech. 9:12
- If ye do not hear, and if ye do not lay it to heart, to give glory unto my name, saith Jehovah of hosts, I will even send the curse among you, and I will curse your blessings: yea, I have already cursed them, because ye do not lay it to heart. Mal. 2:2
- Have we not all one father? Hath not one *God created us? Why do we deal unfaithfully every man against his brother, by profaning the covenant of our fathers? Mal. 2:10
- And further ye do this: ye cover the altar of Jehovah with tears, with weeping, and with sighing, insomuch that he regardeth not the oblation any more, nor receiveth it with satisfaction at your hand. Mal. 2:13
- Will a man rob God? But ye rob me. And ye say, Wherein do we rob thee? In tithes and heave-offerings. Mal. 3:8
- saying, where is the king of the Jews that has been born? for we have seen his star in the east, and have come to do him homage. Mt. 2:2
- and having sent them to Bethlehem, said, Go, search out accurately concerning the child, and when ye shall have found him bring me back word, so that *I* also may come and do him homage. Mt. 2:8
- And do not think to say within yourselves, We have Abraham for our father; for I say unto you, that God is able of these stones to raise up children to Abraham. Mt. 3:9
- and says to him, All these things will I give thee if, falling down, thou wilt do me homage. Mt. 4:9
- Then says Jesus to him, Get thee away, Satan, for it is written, Thou shalt do homage to the Lord thy God, and him alone shalt thou serve. Mt. 4:10
- Nor do men light a lamp and put it under the bushel, but upon the lamp-stand, and it shines for all who are in the house. Mt. 5:15
- Whosoever then shall do away with one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of the heavens; but whosoever shall practise and teach them, *he* shall be called great in the kingdom of the heavens. Mt. 5:19
- But *I* say unto you, Do not swear at all; neither by the heaven, because it is the throne of God; Mt. 5:34
- But *I* say unto you, Love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who insult you and persecute you, Mt. 5:44
- For if ye should love those who love you, what reward have ye? Do not also the tax-gatherers the same? Mt. 5:46
- And if ye should salute your brethren only, what do ye extraordinary? Do not also the Gentiles the same? Mt. 5:47
- Take heed not to do your alms before men to be seen of them, otherwise ye have no reward with your Father who is in the heavens. Mt. 6:1
- When therefore thou doest alms, sound not a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, so that they may have glory from men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. Mt. 6:2
- but if ye do not forgive men their offences, neither will your Father forgive your offences. Mt. 6:15
- but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust spoils, and where thieves do not dig through nor steal; Mt. 6:20
- For this cause I say unto you, Do not be careful about your life, what ye should eat and what ye should drink; nor for your body what ye should put on. Is not the life more than food, and the body than raiment? Mt. 6:25
- And why are ye careful about clothing? Observe with attention the lilies of the field, how they grow: they toil not, neither do they spin; Mt. 6:28
- Therefore all things whatever ye desire that men should do to you, thus do *ye* also do to them; for this is the law and the prophets. Mt. 7:12
- By their fruits ye shall know them. Do men gather a bunch of grapes from thorns, or from thistles figs? Mt. 7:16
- And every one who hears these my words and does not do them, he shall be likened to a foolish man, who built his house upon the sand; Mt. 7:26
- For *I* also am a man under authority, having under me soldiers, and I say to this one, Go, and he goes; and to another, Come, and he comes; and to my bondman, Do this, and he does it. Mt. 8:9
- And behold, they cried out, saying, What have we to do with thee, Son of God? hast thou come here before the time to torment us? Mt. 8:29
- And Jesus, seeing their thoughts, said, Why do *ye* think evil things in your hearts? Mt. 9:4
- Then come to him the disciples of John, saying, Why do we and the Pharisees often fast, but thy disciples fast not? Mt. 9:14
- Nor do men put new wine into old skins, otherwise the skins burst and the wine is poured out, and the skins will be destroyed; but they put new wine into new skins, and both are preserved together. Mt. 9:17
- And when he was come to the house, the blind men came to him. And Jesus says to them, Do ye believe that I am able to do this? They say to him, Yea, Lord. Mt. 9:28
- Do not provide yourselves with gold, or silver, or brass, for your belts, Mt. 10:9
- Do not think that I have come to send peace upon the earth: I have not come to send peace, but a sword. Mt. 10:34
- But the Pharisees, seeing it, said to him, Behold, thy disciples are doing what is not lawful to do on sabbath. Mt. 12:2
- How much better then is a man than a sheep! So that it is lawful to do well on the sabbath. Mt. 12:12
- And if *I* cast out demons by Beelzebub, your sons, by whom do they cast them out? For this reason *they* shall be your judges. Mt. 12:27
- for whosoever shall do the will of my Father who is in the heavens, he is my brother, and sister, and mother. Mt. 12:50
- For this cause I speak to them in parables, because seeing they do not see, and hearing they do not hear nor understand; Mt. 13:13
- Why do thy disciples transgress what has been delivered by the ancients? for they do not wash their hands when they eat bread. Mt. 15:2
- But he answering said to them, Why do *ye* also transgress the commandment of God on account of your traditional teaching? Mt. 15:3
- but in vain do they worship me, teaching as teachings commandments of men. Mt. 15:9
- Do ye not yet apprehend, that everything that enters into the mouth finds its way into the belly, and is cast forth into the draught? Mt. 15:17
- Do ye not yet understand nor remember the five loaves of the five thousand, and how many hand-baskets ye took up? Mt. 16:9
- How do ye not understand that it was not concerning bread I said to you, Beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees? Mt. 16:11
- But when Jesus was come into the parts of Caesarea-Philippi, he demanded of his disciples, saying, Who do men say that I the Son of man am? Mt. 16:13
- He says to them, But *ye*, who do ye say that I am? Mt. 16:15
- He says, Yes. And when he came into the house, Jesus anticipated him, saying, What dost thou think, Simon? the kings of the earth, from whom do they receive custom or tribute? from their own sons or from strangers? Mt. 17:25
- See that ye do not despise one of these little ones; for I say unto you that their angels in the heavens continually behold the face of my Father who is in the heavens. Mt. 18:10
- But if he do not hear thee, take with thee one or two besides, that every matter may stand upon the word of two witnesses or of three. Mt. 18:16
- Thus also my heavenly Father shall do to you if ye forgive not from your hearts every one his brother. Mt. 18:35
- But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and do not hinder them from coming to me; for the kingdom of the heavens is of such: Mt. 19:14
- And lo, one coming up said to him, Teacher, what good thing shall I do that I may have life eternal? Mt. 19:16
- But he answering said to one of them, My friend, I do not wrong thee. Didst thou not agree with me for a denarius? Mt. 20:13
- is it not lawful for me to do what I will in my own affairs? Is thine eye evil because *I* am good? Mt. 20:15
- And Jesus, having stopped, called them and said, What will ye that I shall do to you? Mt. 20:32
- And Jesus answering said to them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and do not doubt, not only shall ye do what is done to the fig-tree, but even if ye should say to this mountain, Be thou taken away and be thou cast into the sea, it shall come to pass. Mt. 21:21
- And Jesus answering said to them, *I* also will ask you one thing, which if ye tell me, *I* also will tell you by what authority I do these things: Mt. 21:24
- And answering Jesus they said, We do not know. *He* also said to them, Neither do *I* tell you by what authority I do these things. Mt. 21:27
- When therefore the lord of the vineyard comes, what shall he do to those husbandmen? Mt. 21:40
- all things therefore, whatever they may tell you, do and keep. But do not after their works, for they say and do not, Mt. 23:3
- And all their works they do to be seen of men: for they make broad their phylacteries and enlarge the borders of their garments, Mt. 23:5
- But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites, for ye shut up the kingdom of the heavens before men; for *ye* do not enter, nor do ye suffer those that are entering to go in. Mt. 23:13
- And he answering said to them, Do ye not see all these things? Verily I say to you, Not a stone shall be left here upon a stone which shall not be thrown down. Mt. 24:2
- If therefore they say to you, Behold, he is in the desert, go not forth; behold, he is in the inner chambers, do not believe it. Mt. 24:26
- but he answering said, Verily I say unto you, I do not know you. Mt. 25:12
- But Jesus knowing it said to them, Why do ye trouble the woman? for she has wrought a good work toward me. Mt. 26:10
- And the high priest standing up said to him, Answerest thou nothing? What do these witness against thee? Mt. 26:62
- But he denied before all, saying, I do not know what thou sayest. Mt. 26:70
- And again he denied with an oath: I do not know the man. Mt. 26:72
- But, as he was sitting on the judgment-seat, his wife sent to him, saying, Have thou nothing to do with that righteous man; for I have suffered to-day many things in a dream because of him. Mt. 27:19
- Pilate says to them, What then shall I do with Jesus, who is called Christ? They all say, Let him be crucified. Mt. 27:22
- saying, Eh! what have we to do with thee, Jesus, Nazarene? Art thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art, the holy one of God. Mk. 1:24
- And the disciples of John and the Pharisees were fasting; and they come and say to him, Why do the disciples of John and the disciples of the Pharisees fast, but thy disciples fast not? Mk. 2:18
- And the Pharisees said to him, Behold, why do they on the sabbath what is not lawful? Mk. 2:24
- And he says to them, Is it lawful on the sabbath to do good or to do evil, to save life or to kill? But they were silent. Mk. 3:4
- for whosoever shall do the will of God, *he* is my brother, and sister, and mother. Mk. 3:35
- And he says to them, Do ye not know this parable? and how will ye be acquainted with all the parables? Mk. 4:13
- and crying with a loud voice he says, What have I to do with thee, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I adjure thee by God, torment me not. Mk. 5:7
- And entering in he says to them, Why do ye make a tumult and weep? the child has not died, but sleeps. Mk. 5:39
- And he could not do any work of power there, save that laying his hands on a few infirm persons he healed them. Mk. 6:5
- (for the Pharisees and all the Jews, unless they wash their hands diligently, do not eat, holding what has been delivered by the ancients; Mk. 7:3
- and on coming from the market-place, unless they are washed, they do not eat; and there are many other things which they have received to hold, the washing of cups and vessels, and brazen utensils, and couches), Mk. 7:4
- then the Pharisees and the scribes ask him, Why do thy disciples not walk according to what has been delivered by the ancients, but eat the bread with defiled hands? Mk. 7:5
- But in vain do they worship me, teaching as their teachings commandments of men. Mk. 7:7
- For, leaving the commandment of God, ye hold what is delivered by men to keep -- washings of vessels and cups, and many other such like things ye do. Mk. 7:8
- And he said to them, Well do ye set aside the commandment of God, that ye may observe what is delivered by yourselves to keep. Mk. 7:9
- And ye no longer suffer him to do anything for his father or his mother; Mk. 7:12
- making void the word of God by your traditional teaching which ye have delivered; and many such like things ye do. Mk. 7:13
- And he says to them, Are *ye* also thus unintelligent? Do ye not perceive that all that is outside entering into the man cannot defile him, Mk. 7:18
- And Jesus knowing it, says to them, Why reason ye because ye have no bread? Do ye not yet perceive nor understand? Have ye your heart yet hardened? Mk. 8:17
- Having eyes, see ye not? and having ears, hear ye not? and do ye not remember? Mk. 8:18
- And he said to them, How do ye not yet understand? Mk. 8:21

- and often it has cast him both into fire and into waters that it might destroy him: but if thou couldst do anything, be moved with pity on us, and help us. Mk. 9:22
- But Jesus said, Forbid him not; for there is no one who shall do a miracle in my name, and be able soon after to speak ill of me; Mk. 9:39
- And as he went forth into the way, a person ran up to him, and kneeling to him asked him, Good Teacher, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life? Mk. 10:17
- Thou knowest the commandments: Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Do not defraud, Honour thy father and mother. Mk. 10:19
- And there come to him James and John, the sons of Zebedee, saying to him, Teacher, we would that whatsoever we may ask thee, thou wouldst do it for us. Mk. 10:35
- And he said to them, What would ye that I should do for you? Mk. 10:36
- And Jesus said to them, Ye do not know what ye ask. Are ye able to drink the cup which *I* drink, or be baptised with the baptism that *I* am baptised with? Mk. 10:38
- And Jesus answering says to him, What wilt thou that I shall do to thee? And the blind man said to him, Rabboni, that I may see. Mk. 10:51
- And if any one say to you, Why do ye this? say, The Lord has need of it; and straightway he sends it hither. Mk. 11:3
- And they said to them as Jesus had commanded. And they let them do it. Mk. 11:6
- But if *ye* do not forgive, neither will your Father who is in the heavens forgive your offences. Mk. 11:26
- and they say to him, By what authority doest thou these things? and who gave thee this authority, that thou shouldest do these things? Mk. 11:28
- And Jesus answering said to them, *I* also will ask you one thing, and answer me, and I will tell you by what authority I do these things: Mk. 11:29
- And they answering say to Jesus, We do not know. And Jesus answering says to them, Neither do *I* tell you by what authority I do these things. Mk. 11:33
- What therefore shall the lord of the vineyard do? He will come and destroy the husbandmen, and will give the vineyard to others. Mk. 12:9
- And Jesus answering said to them, Do not ye therefore err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God? Mk. 12:24
- And Jesus answering said as he was teaching in the temple, How do the scribes say that the Christ is son of David? Mk. 12:35
- But do *ye* take heed: behold, I have told you all things beforehand. Mk. 13:23
- Take heed, watch and pray, for ye do not know when the time is: Mk. 13:33
- Watch therefore, for ye do not know when the master of the house comes: evening, or midnight, or cock-crow, or morning; Mk. 13:35
- But Jesus said, Let her alone; why do ye trouble her? she has wrought a good work as to me; Mk. 14:6
- for ye have the poor always with you, and whenever ye would ye can do them good; but me ye have not always. Mk. 14:7
- And the high priest, rising up before them all, asked Jesus, saying, Answerest thou nothing? What do these testify against thee? Mk. 14:60
- And the crowd crying out began to beg that he would do to them as he had always done. Mk. 15:8
- And Pilate answering said to them again, What will ye then that I do to him whom ye call King of the Jews? Mk. 15:12
- And he came in the Spirit into the temple; and as the parents brought in the child Jesus that they might do for him according to the custom of the law, Lk. 2:27
- And the crowds asked him saying, What should we do then? Lk. 3:10
- And he answering says to them, He that has two body-coats, let him give to him that has none; and he that has food, let him do likewise. Lk. 3:11

- And persons engaged in military service also asked him saying, And we, what should we do? And he said to them, Oppress no one, nor accuse falsely, and be satisfied with your pay. Lk. 3:14
- If therefore *thou* wilt do homage before me, all of it shall be thine. Lk. 4:7
- And Jesus answering him said, It is written, Thou shalt do homage to the Lord thy God, and him alone shalt thou serve. Lk. 4:8

- saying, Eh! what have we to do with thee, Jesus, Nazarene? hast thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art, the Holy One of God. Lk. 4:34
- And their scribes and the Pharisees murmured at his disciples, saying, Why do ye eat and drink with tax-gatherers and sinners? Lk. 5:30
- And they said to him, Why do the disciples of John fast often and make supplications, in like manner those also of the Pharisees, but thine eat and drink? Lk. 5:33
- But some of the Pharisees said to them, Why do ye what is not lawful to do on the sabbath? Lk. 6:2
- Jesus therefore said to them, I will ask you if it is lawful on the sabbath to do good, or to do evil? to save life, or to destroy it? Lk. 6:9
- But *they* were filled with madness, and they spoke together among themselves what they should do to Jesus. Lk. 6:11
- But to you that hear I say, Love your enemies; do good to those that hate you; Lk. 6:27
- And as ye wish that men should do to you, do *ye* also to them in like manner. Lk. 6:31
- And if ye do good to those that do good to you, what thank is it to you? for even sinners do the same. Lk. 6:33
- But love your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing in return, and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be sons of the Highest; for *he* is good to the unthankful and wicked. Lk. 6:35
- And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things that I say? Lk. 6:46
- And Jesus went with them. But already, when he was not far from the house, the centurion sent to him friends, saying to him, Lord, do not trouble thyself, for I am not worthy that thou shouldest enter under my roof. Lk. 7:6
- For *I* also am a man placed under authority, having under myself soldiers, and I say to this one, Go, and he goes; and to another, Come, and he comes; and to my bondman, Do this, and he does it. Lk. 7:8
- But he answering said to them, My mother and my brethren are those who hear the word of God and do it. Lk. 8:21
- But seeing Jesus, he cried out, and fell down before him, and with a loud voice said, What have I to do with thee, Jesus Son of the Most High God? I beseech thee torment me not. Lk. 8:28
- While he was yet speaking, comes some one from the ruler of the synagogue, saying to him, Thy daughter is dead; do not trouble the teacher. Lk. 8:49
- And all were weeping and lamenting her. But he said, Do not weep, for she has not died, but sleeps. Lk. 8:52
- And it came to pass as he was praying alone, his disciples were with him, and he asked them saying, Who do the crowds say that I am? Lk. 9:18
- And he said to them, But *ye*, who do ye say that I am? And Peter answering said, The Christ of God. Lk. 9:20
- Do *ye* let these words sink into your ears. For the Son of man is about to be delivered into men's hands. Lk. 9:44
- But Jesus said to him, Suffer the dead to bury their own dead, but do *thou* go and announce the kingdom of God. Lk. 9:60
- But into whatsoever city ye may have entered and they do not receive you, go out into its streets and say, Lk. 10:10

- But if *I* by Beelzebub cast out demons, your sons -- by whom do they cast them out? For this reason *they* shall be your judges. Lk. 11:19
- But the Lord said to him, Now do ye Pharisees cleanse the outside of the cup and of the dish, but your inward parts are full of plunder and wickedness. Lk. 11:39
- Woe unto you, for ye are as the sepulchres which appear not, and the men walking over them do not know it. Lk. 11:44
- And he said, To you also woe, doctors of the law, for ye lay upon men burdens heavy to bear, and yourselves do not touch the burdens with one of your fingers. Lk. 11:46
- But I say to you, my friends, Fear not those who kill the body and after this have no more that they can do. Lk. 12:4
- And he reasoned within himself saying, What shall I do? for I have not a place where I shall lay up my fruits. Lk. 12:17
- And he said, This will I do: I will take away my granaries and build greater, and there I will lay up all my produce and my good things; Lk. 12:18
- If therefore ye cannot do even what is least, why are ye careful about the rest? Lk. 12:26
- for all these things do the nations of the world seek after, and your Father knows that ye have need of these things; Lk. 12:30
- Sell what ye possess and give alms; make to yourselves purses which do not grow old, a treasure which does not fail in the heavens, where thief does not draw near nor moth destroy. Lk. 12:33
- And ye therefore, be *ye* ready, for in the hour in which ye do not think it, the Son of man comes. Lk. 12:40
- Hypocrites, ye know how to judge of the appearance of the earth and of the heaven; how is it then that ye do not discern this time? Lk. 12:56
- and he shall say, I tell you, I do not know you whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity. Lk. 13:27
- When thou art invited by any one to a wedding, do not lay thyself down in the first place at table, lest perhaps a more honourable than thou be invited by him, Lk. 14:8
- in order that, having laid the foundation of it, and not being able to finish it, all who see it do not begin to mock at him, Lk. 14:29
- And the steward said within himself, What shall I do; for my lord is taking the stewardship from me? I am not able to dig; I am ashamed to beg. Lk. 16:3
- I know what I will do, that when I shall have been removed from the stewardship I may be received into their houses. Lk. 16:4
- And besides all this, between us and you a great chasm is fixed, so that those who desire to pass hence to you cannot, nor do they who desire to cross from there pass over unto us. Lk. 16:26
- Thus *ye* also, when ye shall have done all things that have been ordered you, say, We are unprofitable bondmen; we have done what it was our duty to do. Lk. 17:10
- But Jesus calling them to him said, Suffer little children to come to me, and do not forbid them, for of such is the kingdom of God. Lk. 18:16

- And he said to them, How do they say that the Christ is David's son, Lk. 20:41
- And he came to an agreement to do it, and sought an opportunity to deliver him up to them away from the crowd. Lk. 22:6
- And having taken a loaf, when he had given thanks, he broke it, and gave it to them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me. Lk. 22:19
- And *they* began to question together among themselves who then it could be of them who was about to do this. Lk. 22:23
- But he denied him, saying, Woman, I do not know him. Lk. 22:57
- And Jesus turning round to them said, Daughters of Jerusalem, do not weep over me, but weep over yourselves and over your children; Lk. 23:28
- And Jesus said, Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do. And, parting out his garments, they cast lots. Lk. 23:34
- And behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you; but do ye remain in the city till ye be clothed with power from on high. Lk. 24:49
- John answered them saying, I baptise with water. In the midst of you stands, whom ye do not know, Jn. 1:26
- Jesus says to her, What have I to do with thee, woman? mine hour has not yet come. Jn. 2:4
- His mother says to the servants, Whatever he may say to you, do. Jn. 2:5
- he came to him by night, and said to him, Rabbi, we know that thou art come a teacher from God, for none can do these signs that thou doest unless God be with him. Jn. 3:2
- Do not wonder that I said to thee, It is needful that *ye* should be born anew. Jn. 3:7
- But he said to them, I have food to eat which ye do not know. Jn. 4:32
- Jesus says to them, My food is that I should do the will of him that has sent me, and that I should finish his work. Jn. 4:34
- Do not ye say, that there are yet four months and the harvest comes? Behold, I say to you, Lift up your eyes and behold the fields, for they are already white to harvest. Jn. 4:35
- After these things Jesus finds him in the temple, and said to him, Behold, thou art become well: sin no more, that something worse do not happen to thee. Jn. 5:14
- Jesus therefore answered and said to them, Verily, verily, I say to you, The Son can do nothing of himself save whatever he sees the Father doing: for whatever things *he* does, these things also the Son does in like manner. Jn. 5:19
- I cannot do anything of myself; as I hear, I judge, and my judgment is righteous, because I do not seek my will, but the will of him that has sent me. Jn. 5:30
- But I do not receive witness from man, but I say this that *ye* might be saved. Jn. 5:34
- But I have the witness that is greater than that of John; for the works which the Father has given me that I should complete them, the works themselves which I do, bear witness concerning me that the Father has sent me. Jn. 5:36
- and ye have not his word abiding in you; for whom *he* hath sent, him ye do not believe. Jn. 5:38
- I do not receive glory from men, Jn. 5:41
- But if ye do not believe his writings, how shall ye believe my words? Jn. 5:47
- But this he said trying him, for he knew what he was going to do. Jn. 6:6
- They said therefore to him, What should we do that we may work the works of God? Jn. 6:28
- But I have said to you, that ye have also seen me and do not believe. Jn. 6:36
- For I am come down from heaven, not that I should do *my* will, but the will of him that has sent me. Jn. 6:38
- But there are some of you who do not believe. For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were who did not believe, and who would deliver him up. Jn. 6:64
- Has not Moses given you the law, and no one of you practises the law? Why do ye seek to kill me? Jn. 7:19
- Jesus therefore cried out in the temple, teaching and saying, Ye both know me and ye know whence I am; and I am not come of myself, but he that sent me is true, whom ye do not know. Jn. 7:28
- But many of the crowd believed on him, and said, Will the Christ, when he comes, do more signs than those which this man has done? Jn. 7:31
- And she said, No one, sir. And Jesus said to her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more. Jn. 8:11
- Jesus therefore said to them, When ye shall have lifted up the Son of man, then ye shall know that I am he, and that I do nothing of myself, but as the Father has taught me I speak these things. Jn. 8:28
- And he that has sent me is with me; he has not left me alone, because I do always the things that are pleasing to him. Jn. 8:29
- I speak what I have seen with my Father, and ye then do what ye have seen with your father. Jn. 8:38
- They answered and said to him, Abraham is our father. Jesus says to them, If ye were Abraham's children, ye would do the works of Abraham; Jn. 8:39
- Ye do the works of your father. They said therefore to him, We are not born of fornication; we have one father, God. Jn. 8:41
- Why do ye not know my speech? Because ye cannot hear my word. Jn. 8:43
- Ye are of the devil, as your father, and ye desire to do the lusts of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning, and has not stood in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks falsehood, he speaks of what is his own; for he is a liar and its father: Jn. 8:44
- and because I speak the truth, ye do not believe me. Jn. 8:45
- Which of you convinces me of sin? If I speak truth, why do ye not believe me? Jn. 8:46
- But I do not seek my own glory: there is he that seeks and judges. Jn. 8:50
- They said therefore to him, Where is he? He says, I do not know. Jn. 9:12
- but how he now sees we do not know, or who has opened his eyes we do not know. *He* is of age: ask *him*; *he* will speak concerning himself. Jn. 9:21
- And they said to him again, What did he do to thee? how opened he thine eyes? Jn. 9:26
- He answered them, I told you already and ye did not hear: why do ye desire to hear again? do ye also wish to become his disciples? Jn. 9:27
- The man answered and said to them, Now in this is a wonderful thing, that *ye* do not know whence he is, and he has opened mine eyes. Jn. 9:30
- But we know that God does not hear sinners; but if any one be God-fearing and do his will, him he hears. Jn. 9:31
- If this man were not of God he would be able to do nothing. Jn. 9:33
- but many of them said, He has a demon and raves; why do ye hear him? Jn. 10:20
- Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye do not believe. The works which I do in my Father's name, these bear witness concerning me: Jn. 10:25

- do ye say of him whom the Father has sanctified and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest, because I said, I am Son of God? Jn. 10:36
- If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not; Jn. 10:37
- but if I do, even if ye believe not me, believe the works, that ye may know and believe that the Father is in me and I in him. Jn. 10:38
- The chief priests, therefore, and the Pharisees gathered a council, and said, What do we? for this man does many signs. Jn. 11:47
- They sought therefore Jesus, and said among themselves, standing in the temple, What do ye think? that he will not come to the feast? Jn. 11:56
- and if any one hear my words and do not keep them, I judge him not, for I am not come that I might judge the world, but that I might save the world. Jn. 12:47
- Jesus answered and said to him, What I do thou dost not know now, but thou shalt know hereafter. Jn. 13:7
- When therefore he had washed their feet, and taken his garments, having sat down again, he said to them, Do ye know what I have done to you? Jn. 13:12
- for I have given you an example that, as I have done to you, ye should do also. Jn. 13:15
- If ye know these things, blessed are ye if ye do them. Jn. 13:17
- And, after the morsel, then entered Satan into him. Jesus therefore says to him, What thou doest, do quickly. Jn. 13:27
- Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in me? The words which I speak to you I do not speak from myself; but the Father who abides in me, he does the works. Jn. 14:10
- Verily, verily, I say to you, He that believes on me, the works which I do shall he do also, and he shall do greater than these, because I go to the Father. Jn. 14:12
- And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, this will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. Jn. 14:13
- If ye shall ask anything in my name, I will do it. Jn. 14:14
- I leave peace with you; I give *my* peace to you: not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it fear. Jn. 14:27
- but that the world may know that I love the Father, and as the Father has commanded me, thus I do. Rise up, let us go hence. Jn. 14:31
- I am the vine, ye are the branches. He that abides in me and I in him, *he* bears much fruit; for without me ye can do nothing. Jn. 15:5
- But they will do all these things to you on account of my name, because they have not known him that sent me. Jn. 15:21

- But I say the truth to you, It is profitable for you that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Comforter will not come to you; but if I go I will send him to you. Jn. 16:7

- They said therefore, What is this which he says of the little while? We do not know of what he speaks. Jn. 16:18
- Jesus knew therefore that they desired to demand of him, and said to them, Do ye inquire of this among yourselves that I said, A little while and ye do not behold me; and again a little while and ye shall see me? Jn. 16:19
- Jesus answered them, Do ye now believe? Jn. 16:31
- I have glorified *thee* on the earth, I have completed the work which thou gavest me that I should do it; Jn. 17:4
- I demand concerning them; I do not demand concerning the world, but concerning those whom thou hast given me, for they are thine, Jn. 17:9
- I do not demand that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them out of evil. Jn. 17:15

- If then I have done any wrong and committed anything worthy of death, I do not deprecate dying; but if there is nothing of those things of which they accuse me, no man can give me up to them. I appeal to Caesar. Acts 25:11
- *I* indeed myself thought that I ought to do much against the name of Jesus the Nazaraean. Acts 26:9

- who knowing the righteous judgment of God, that they who do such things are worthy of death, not only practise them, but have fellow delight in those who do them. Rom. 1:32
- But we know that the judgment of God is according to truth upon those who do such things. Rom. 2:2

- For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God, having sent his own Son, in likeness of flesh of sin, and for sin, has condemned sin in the flesh, Rom. 8:3
- in order that the righteous requirement of the law should be fulfilled in us, who do not walk according to flesh but according to Spirit. Rom. 8:4
- And in like manner the Spirit joins also its help to our weakness; for we do not know what we should pray for as is fitting, but the Spirit itself makes intercession with groanings which cannot be uttered. Rom. 8:26
- But we *do* know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to purpose. Rom. 8:28
- But the righteousness of faith speaks thus: Do not say in thine heart, Who shall ascend to the heavens? that is, to bring Christ down; Rom. 10:6
- For I do not wish you to be ignorant, brethren, of this mystery, that ye may not be wise in your own conceits, that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the nations be come in; Rom. 11:25
- But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and do not take forethought for the flesh to fulfil its lusts. Rom. 13:14
- For the sake of meat do not destroy the work of God. All things indeed are pure; but it is evil to that man who eats while stumbling in doing so. Rom. 14:20
- It is right not to eat meat, nor drink wine, nor do anything in which thy brother stumbles, or is offended, or is weak. Rom. 14:21
- that I may be saved from those that do not believe in Judaea; and that my ministry which I have for Jerusalem may be acceptable to the saints; Rom. 15:31
- Do ye not know that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? 1 Cor. 3:16
- But for me it is the very smallest matter that I be examined of you or of man's day. Nor do I even examine myself. 1 Cor. 4:3
- So that do not judge anything before the time, until the Lord shall come, who shall also both bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and shall make manifest the counsels of hearts; and then shall each have his praise from God. 1 Cor. 4:5
- Not as chiding do I write these things to you, but as my beloved children I admonish you. 1 Cor. 4:14
- Your boasting is not good. Do ye not know that a little leaven leavens the whole lump? 1 Cor. 5:6
- For what have *I* to do with judging those outside also? *ye*, do not ye judge them that are within? 1 Cor. 5:12
- * Do ye not then know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world is judged by you, are ye unworthy of the smallest judgments? 1 Cor. 6:2
- Do ye not know that we shall judge angels? and not then matters of this life? 1 Cor. 6:3
- Already indeed then it is altogether a fault in you that ye have suits between yourselves. Why do ye not rather suffer wrong? why are ye not rather defrauded? 1 Cor. 6:7
- But *ye* do wrong, and defraud, and this your brethren. 1 Cor. 6:8
- Do ye not know that unrighteous persons shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not err: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor those who make women of themselves, nor who abuse themselves with men, 1 Cor. 6:9
- All things are lawful to me, but all things do not profit; all things are lawful to me, but *I* will not be brought under the power of any. 1 Cor. 6:12
- Do ye not know that your bodies are members of Christ? Shall I then, taking the members of the Christ, make them members of a harlot? Far be the thought. 1 Cor. 6:15
- Do ye not know that he that is joined to the harlot is one body? for the two, he says, shall be one flesh. 1 Cor. 6:16
- Do ye not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which ye have of God; and ye are not your own? 1 Cor. 6:19
- Ye have been bought with a price; do not be the bondmen of men. 1 Cor. 7:23
- Art thou bound to a wife? seek not to be loosed; art thou free from a wife? do not seek a wife. 1 Cor. 7:27
- But if any one think that he behaves unseemly to his virginity, if he be beyond the flower of his age, and so it must be, let him do what he will, he does not sin: let them marry. 1 Cor. 7:36
- But meat does not commend us to God; neither if we should not eat do we come short; nor if we should eat have we an advantage. 1 Cor. 8:8
- Do I speak these things as a man, or does not the law also say these things? 1 Cor. 9:8
- Do ye not know that they who labour at sacred things eat of the offerings offered in the temple; they that attend at the altar partake with the altar? 1 Cor. 9:13
- For if I do this voluntarily, I have a reward; but if not of my own will, I am entrusted with an administration. 1 Cor. 9:17
- And I do all things for the sake of the glad tidings, that I may be fellow-partaker with them. 1 Cor. 9:23
- I speak as to intelligent persons: do *ye* judge what I say. 1 Cor. 10:15
- What then do I say? that what is sacrificed to an idol is anything, or that an idol is anything? 1 Cor. 10:19
- But that what the nations sacrifice they sacrifice to demons, and not to God. Now I do not wish you to be in communion with demons. 1 Cor. 10:20
- Do we provoke the Lord to jealousy? are we stronger than he? 1 Cor. 10:22
- All things are lawful, but all are not profitable; all things are lawful, but all do not edify. 1 Cor. 10:23
- But if any one say to you, This is offered to holy purposes, do not eat, for his sake that pointed it out, and conscience sake; 1 Cor. 10:28
- Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatever ye do, do all things to God's glory. 1 Cor. 10:31
- But in prescribing to you on this which I now enter on, I do not praise, namely, that ye come together, not for the better, but for the worse. 1 Cor. 11:17
- Have ye not then houses for eating and drinking? or do ye despise the assembly of God, and put to shame them who have not? What shall I say to you? shall I praise you? In this point I do not praise. 1 Cor. 11:22

- have all gifts of healings? do all speak with tongues? do all interpret? 1 Cor. 12:30

- If, to speak after the manner of man, I have fought with beasts in Ephesus, what is the profit to me if those that are dead do not rise? let us eat and drink; for to-morrow we die. 1 Cor. 15:32
- But some one will say, How are the dead raised? and with what body do they come? 1 Cor. 15:35
- Now concerning the collection for the saints, as I directed the assemblies of Galatia, so do *ye* do also. 1 Cor. 16:1
- But I will come to you when I shall have gone through Macedonia; for I do go through Macedonia. 1 Cor. 16:5
- Let all things ye do be done in love. 1 Cor. 16:14
- For we do not wish you to be ignorant, brethren, as to our tribulation which happened to us in Asia, that we were excessively pressed beyond our power, so as to despair even of living. 2 Cor. 1:8
- For we do not write other things to you but what ye well know and recognise; and I hope that ye will recognise to the end, 2 Cor. 1:13
- Having therefore this purpose, did I then use lightness? Or what I purpose, do I purpose according to flesh, that there should be with me yea yea, and nay nay? 2 Cor. 1:17

- I do not speak for condemnation, for I have already said that ye are in our hearts, to die together, and live together. 2 Cor. 7:3
- For if also I grieved you in the letter, I do not regret it, if even I have regretted it; for I see that that letter, if even it were only for a time, grieved you. 2 Cor. 7:8
- I do not speak as commanding it, but through the zeal of others, and proving the genuineness of your love. 2 Cor. 8:8

- For walking in flesh, we do not war according to flesh. 2 Cor. 10:3

- Why? because I do not love you? God knows. 2 Cor. 11:11
- But what I do, I will also do, that I may cut off the opportunity of those wishing for an opportunity, that wherein they boast they may be found even as we. 2 Cor. 11:12
- What I speak I do not speak according to the Lord, but as in folly, in this confidence of boasting. 2 Cor. 11:17
- The God and Father of the Lord Jesus knows -- he who is blessed for ever -- that I do not lie. 2 Cor. 11:31
- Behold, this third time I am ready to come to you, and I will not be in laziness a charge; for I do not seek yours, but you; for the children ought not to lay up for the parents, but the parents for the children. 2 Cor. 12:14
- For I fear lest perhaps coming I find you not such as I wish, and that *I* be found by you such as ye do not wish: lest there might be strifes, jealousies, angers, contentions, evil speakings, whisperings, puffings up, disturbances; 2 Cor. 12:20
- examine your own selves if ye be in the faith; prove your own selves: do ye not recognise yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you, unless indeed ye be reprobates? 2 Cor. 13:5
- But we pray to God that ye may do nothing evil; not that *we* may appear approved, but that *ye* may do what is right, and *we* be as reprobates. 2 Cor. 13:7
- For we can do nothing against the truth, but for the truth. 2 Cor. 13:8
- For do I now seek to satisfy men or God? or do I seek to please men? If I were yet pleasing men, I were not Christ's bondman. Gal. 1:10
- Now what I write to you, behold, before God, I do not lie. Gal. 1:20
- only that we should remember the poor, which same thing also I was diligent to do. Gal. 2:10
- But when I saw that they do not walk straightforwardly, according to the truth of the glad tidings, I said to Peter before all, If *thou*, being a Jew, livest as the nations and not as the Jews, how dost thou compel the nations to Judaize? Gal. 2:14
- I do not set aside the grace of God; for if righteousness is by law, then Christ has died for nothing. Gal. 2:21
- For as many as are on the principle of works of law are under curse. For it is written, Cursed is every one who does not continue in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them; Gal. 3:10
- but now, knowing God, but rather being known by God, how do ye turn again to the weak and beggarly principles to which ye desire to be again anew in bondage? Gal. 4:9
- Tell me, ye who are desirous of being under law, do ye not listen to the law? Gal. 4:21
- And I witness again to every man who is circumcised, that he is debtor to do the whole law. Gal. 5:3
- For *ye* have been called to liberty, brethren; only do not turn liberty into an opportunity to the flesh, but by love serve one another. Gal. 5:13
- For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these things are opposed one to the other, that ye should not do those things which ye desire; Gal. 5:17
- envyings, murders, drunkennesses, revels, and things like these; as to which I tell you beforehand, even as I also have said before, that they who do such things shall not inherit God's kingdom. Gal. 5:21
- but let us not lose heart in doing good; for in due time, if we do not faint, we shall reap. Gal. 6:9
- So then, as we have occasion, let us do good towards all, and specially towards those of the household of faith. Gal. 6:10
- For neither do they that are circumcised themselves keep the law; but they wish you to be circumcised, that they may boast in your flesh. Gal. 6:13

- And ye fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and admonition of the Lord. Eph. 6:4
- knowing that whatever good each shall do, this he shall receive of the Lord, whether bond or free. Eph. 6:8
- And, masters, do the same things towards them, giving up threatening, knowing that both their and your Master is in heaven, and there is no acceptance of persons with him. Eph. 6:9
- Do all things without murmurings and reasonings, Phil. 2:14
- In like manner do *ye* also rejoice, and rejoice with me. Phil. 2:18
- For *we* are the circumcision, who worship by the Spirit of God, and boast in Christ Jesus, and do not trust in flesh. Phil. 3:3
- Brethren, *I* do not count to have got possession myself; but one thing -- forgetting the things behind, and stretching out to the things before, Phil. 3:13
- What ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, these things do; and the God of peace shall be with you. Phil. 4:9
- For this reason *we* also, from the day we heard of your faith and love, do not cease praying and asking for you, to the end that ye may be filled with the full knowledge of his will, in all wisdom and spiritual understanding, Col. 1:9
- If ye have died with Christ from the elements of the world, why as if alive in the world do ye subject yourselves to ordinances? Col. 2:20
- Do not handle, do not taste, do not touch, Col. 2:21
- Do not lie to one another, having put off the old man with his deeds, Col. 3:9
- forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any should have a complaint against any; even as the Christ has forgiven you, so also do *ye*. Col. 3:13
- And everything, whatever ye may do in word or in deed, do all things in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father by him. Col. 3:17
- Fathers, do not vex your children, to the end that they be not disheartened. Col. 3:21
- Whatsoever ye do, labour at it heartily, as doing it to the Lord, and not to men; Col. 3:23
- who have both slain the Lord Jesus and the prophets, and have driven us out by persecution, and do not please God, and are against all men, 1 Th. 2:15
- For the rest, then, brethren, we beg you and exhort you in the Lord Jesus, even as ye have received from us how ye ought to walk and please God, even as ye also do walk, that ye would abound still more. 1 Th. 4:1
- For also ye do this towards all the brethren in the whole of Macedonia; but we exhort you, brethren, to abound still more, 1 Th. 4:10

- but I do not suffer a woman to teach nor to exercise authority over man, but to be in quietness; 1 Tim. 2:12
- If any one teach differently, and do not accede to sound words, those of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the teaching which is according to piety, 1 Tim. 6:3
- to do good, to be rich in good works, to be liberal in distributing, disposed to communicate of their substance, 1 Tim. 6:18
- But *thou*, be sober in all things, bear evils, do the work of an evangelist, fill up the full measure of thy ministry. 2 Tim. 4:5
- But do *thou* speak the things that become sound teaching; Tit. 2:1
- Put them in mind to be subject to rulers, to authorities, to be obedient to rule, to be ready to do every good work, Tit. 3:1
- whom I have sent back to thee: but do *thou* receive him, that is, *my* bowels: Ph'm 1:12
- but I have wished to do nothing without thy mind, that thy good might not be as of necessity but of willingness: Ph'm 1:14
- Being confident of thine obedience, I have written to thee, knowing that thou wilt do even more than I say. Ph'm 1:21
- in that it is said, To-day if ye will hear his voice, do not harden your hearts, as in the provocation; Heb. 3:15
- And there is not a creature unapparent before him; but all things are naked and laid bare to his eyes, with whom we have to do. Heb. 4:13
- and this will we do if God permit. Heb. 6:3
- and have fallen away, crucifying for themselves as they do the Son of God, and making a show of him. Heb. 6:6
- Then I said, Lo, I come (in the roll of the book it is written of me) to do, O God, thy will. Heb. 10:7
- then he said, Lo, I come to do thy will. He takes away the first that he may establish the second; Heb. 10:9
- And what more do I say? For the time would fail me telling of Gideon, and Barak, and Samson, and Jephthah, and David and Samuel, and of the prophets: Heb. 11:32
- So that, taking courage, we may say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not be afraid: what will man do unto me? Heb. 13:6
- Obey your leaders, and be submissive; for *they* watch over your souls as those that shall give account; that they may do this with joy, and not groaning, for this would be unprofitable for you. Heb. 13:17
- But I much more beseech you to do this, that I may the more quickly be restored to you. Heb. 13:19
- Do not err, my beloved brethren. Jas. 1:16
- My brethren, do not have the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ, Lord of glory, with respect of persons: Jas. 2:1
- and ye look upon him who wears the splendid apparel, and say, Do thou sit here well, and say to the poor, Do thou stand there, or sit here under my footstool: Jas. 2:3
- But *ye* have despised the poor man. Do not the rich oppress you, and do not *they* drag you before the tribunals? Jas. 2:6
- And do not *they* blaspheme the excellent name which has been called upon you? Jas. 2:7
- If indeed ye keep the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, ye do well. Jas. 2:8
- but if ye have bitter emulation and strife in your hearts, do not boast and lie against the truth. Jas. 3:14
- ye who do not know what will be on the morrow, (for what is your life? It is even a vapour, appearing for a little while, and then disappearing,) Jas. 4:14
- instead of your saying, If the Lord should so will and we should live, we will also do this or that. Jas. 4:15
- To him therefore who knows how to do good, and does it not, to him it is sin. Jas. 4:17
- But before all things, my brethren, swear not, neither by heaven, nor by the earth, nor by any other oath; but let your yea be yea, and your nay, nay, that ye do not fall under judgment. Jas. 5:12
- who by him do believe on God, who has raised him from among the dead and given him glory, that your faith and hope should be in God. 1 Pet. 1:21
- or to rulers as sent by him, for vengeance on evildoers, and praise to them that do well. 1 Pet. 2:14
- And let him avoid evil, and do good; let him seek peace and pursue it; 1 Pet. 3:11
- because the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and his ears towards their supplications; but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil. 1 Pet. 3:12
- Christ, then, having suffered for us in the flesh, do *ye* also arm yourselves with the same mind; for he that has suffered in the flesh has done with sin, 1 Pet. 4:1
- And we have the prophetic word made surer, to which ye do well taking heed (as to a lamp shining in an obscure place) until the day dawn and the morning star arise in your hearts; 2 Pet. 1:19
- and specially those who walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and despise lordship. Bold are they, self-willed; they do not fear speaking injuriously of dignities: 2 Pet. 2:10
- when angels, who are greater in might and power, do not bring against them, before the Lord, an injurious charge. 2 Pet. 2:11
- If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not practise the truth. 1 Jn. 1:6
- I have not written to you because ye do not know the truth, but because ye know it, and that no lie is of the truth. 1 Jn. 2:21
- Do not wonder, brethren, if the world hate you. 1 Jn. 3:13
- If any one see his brother sinning a sin not unto death, he shall ask, and he shall give him life, for those that do not sin unto death. There is a sin to death: I do not say of that that he should make a request. 1 Jn. 5:16
- For many deceivers have gone out into the world, they who do not confess Jesus Christ coming in flesh -- this is the deceiver and the antichrist. 2 Jn. 1:7
- If any one come to you and bring not this doctrine, do not receive him into the house, and greet him not; 2 Jn. 1:10
- (who have witnessed of thy love before the assembly,) in setting forward whom on their journey worthily of God, thou wilt do well; 3 Jn. 1:6
- Beloved, do not imitate what is evil, but what is good. He that does good is of God. He that does evil has not seen God. 3 Jn. 1:11
- Remember therefore whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works: but if not, I am coming to thee, and I will remove thy lamp out of its place, except thou shalt repent. Rev. 2:5
- But to you I say, the rest who are in Thyatira, as many as have not this doctrine, who have not known the depths of Satan, as they say, I do not cast upon you any other burden; Rev. 2:24
- Behold, I make them of the synagogue of Satan who say that they are Jews, and are not, but lie; behold, I will cause that they shall come and shall do homage before thy feet, and shall know that *I* have loved thee. Rev. 3:9
- the twenty-four elders shall fall before him that sits upon the throne, and do homage to him that lives to the ages of ages; and shall cast their crowns before the throne, saying, Rev. 4:10
- And one of the elders says to me, Do not weep. Behold, the lion which is of the tribe of Juda, the root of David, has overcome so as to open the book, and its seven seals. Rev. 5:5
- And I heard as a voice in the midst of the four living creatures saying, A choenix of wheat for a denarius, and three choenixes of barley for a denarius: and do not injure the oil and the wine. Rev. 6:6
- And men of the peoples and tribes and tongues and nations see their body three days and a half, and they do not suffer their bodies to be put into a sepulchre. Rev. 11:9
- and all that dwell on the earth shall do it homage, every one whose name had not been written from the founding of the world in the book of life of the slain Lamb. Rev. 13:8
- and it exercises all the authority of the first beast before it, and causes the earth and those that dwell in it to do homage to the first beast, whose wound of death was healed. Rev. 13:12
