This is the thing which Jehovah hath commanded concerning the daughters of Zelophehad, saying, Let them marry whom they please; only they shall marry one of the tribe of their father, Num. 36:6
And every daughter that possesseth an inheritance among the tribes of the children of Israel, shall be married to one of the family of the tribe of her father, that the children of Israel may possess every one the inheritance of his fathers, Num. 36:8

and I will go out and stand beside my father in the field where thou art, and will speak of thee with my father: and see what it is, and tell thee. 1 Sam. 19:3
And Jonathan spoke good of David to Saul his father, and said to him, Let not the king sin against his servant, against David, because he has not sinned against thee; for also what he did was very advantageous to thee; 1 Sam. 19:4
And David fled from Naioth by Ramah, and came and said before Jonathan, What have I done? what is mine iniquity, and what is my sin before thy father, that he seeks my life? 1 Sam. 20:1
And he said to him, God forbid; thou shalt not die: behold, my father will do nothing either great or small, and not apprise me; and why should my father hide this thing from me? it is not so. 1 Sam. 20:2
And David swore again and again, and said, Thy father certainly knows that I have found favour in thy sight: and he has thought, Jonathan shall not know this, lest he be grieved; but truly as Jehovah liveth, and as thy soul liveth, there is but a step between me and death. 1 Sam. 20:3
If thy father should actually miss me, then say, David earnestly asked leave of me that he might run to Bethlehem his city; for there is a yearly sacrifice there for all the family. 1 Sam. 20:6
Deal kindly then with thy servant; for thou hast brought thy servant into a covenant of Jehovah with thee; but if there be in me iniquity, slay me thyself; for why shouldest thou bring me to thy father? 1 Sam. 20:8
And Jonathan said, Far be it from thee; for, if I knew with certainty that evil were determined by my father to come upon thee, would I not tell it thee? 1 Sam. 20:9
Then said David to Jonathan, Who shall tell me? or what if thy father answer thee roughly? 1 Sam. 20:10
And Jonathan said to David, Jehovah, God of Israel, when I sound my father about this time to-morrow, or the next day, and behold, there be good toward David, and I then send not to thee, and apprise thee of it, 1 Sam. 20:12
Jehovah do so and much more to Jonathan. Should it please my father to do thee evil, then I will apprise thee of it, and send thee away, that thou mayest go in peace; and Jehovah be with thee, as he has been with my father. 1 Sam. 20:13
And Jonathan answered Saul his father, and said to him, Why should he be put to death? what has he done? 1 Sam. 20:32
Then Saul cast the spear at him to smite him; and Jonathan knew that it was determined by his father to put David to death. 1 Sam. 20:33
And Jonathan arose from the table in fierce anger, and ate no meat the second day of the new moon; for he was grieved for David, because his father had done him shame. 1 Sam. 20:34
And David departed thence, and escaped to the cave of Adullam. And his brethren and all his father's house heard it, and they went down thither to him. 1 Sam. 22:1

And David said to Abiathar, I knew it that day, when Doeg the Edomite was there, that he would certainly tell Saul: I am accountable for all the lives of thy father's house. 1 Sam. 22:22
And he said to him, Fear not; for the hand of Saul my father will not find thee; and thou shalt be king over Israel, and I shall be next to thee; and that also Saul my father knows. 1 Sam. 23:17

Of Jeduthun, the sons of Jeduthun: Gedaliah, and Zeri, and Isaiah, Hashabiah, and Mattithiah, and Shimei six, under the direction of their father Jeduthun, who prophesied with the harp, to give thanks and to praise Jehovah. 1 Chr. 25:3

And thou, Solomon my son, know the God of thy father, and serve him with a perfect heart and with a willing mind; for Jehovah searches all hearts, and discerns all the imaginations of the thoughts. If thou seek him, he will be found of thee; but if thou forsake him, he will cut thee off for ever. 1 Chr. 28:9
And David blessed Jehovah in the sight of all the congregation; and David said, Blessed be thou, Jehovah, the God of our father Israel, for ever and ever. 1 Chr. 29:10
And Solomon sat on the throne of Jehovah as king instead of David his father, and prospered; and all Israel obeyed him. 1 Chr. 29:23
And Solomon said to God, Thou hast shewn unto David my father great loving-kindness, and hast made me king in his stead. 2 Chr. 1:8
Now, Jehovah Elohim, let thy word unto David my father be firm; for thou hast made me king over a people numerous as the dust of the earth. 2 Chr. 1:9
And Solomon sent to Huram king of Tyre, saying, As thou didst deal with David my father, and didst send him cedars to build him a house to dwell therein so do for me. 2 Chr. 2:3
And now send me a man skilful to work in gold, and in silver, and in bronze, and in iron, and in purple and crimson and blue, and experienced in carving, besides the skilful men that are with me in Judah and in Jerusalem, whom David my father provided. 2 Chr. 2:7
the son of a woman of the daughters of Dan, and whose father was a man of Tyre, experienced in working in gold, and in silver, in bronze, in iron, in stone, and in timber, in purple, in blue, and in byssus, and in crimson, and for doing any manner of engraving, and for inventing every device which shall be put to him, besides thy skilful men, and the skilful men of my lord David thy father. 2 Chr. 2:14
And Solomon numbered all the strangers that were in the land of Israel, after the account that David his father had taken of them, and there were found a hundred and fifty-three thousand six hundred. 2 Chr. 2:17
And Solomon began to build the house of Jehovah at Jerusalem on mount Moriah, where he appeared to David his father, in the place that David had prepared in the threshing-floor of Ornan the Jebusite. 2 Chr. 3:1
And all the work was finished that Solomon made for the house of Jehovah. And Solomon brought in the things that David his father had dedicated; and the silver, and the gold, and all the vessels he put among the treasures of the house of God. 2 Chr. 5:1
And he said: Blessed be Jehovah the God of Israel, who spoke with his mouth unto David my father, and hath with his hands fulfilled it, saying, 2 Chr. 6:4
And it was in the heart of David my father to build a house unto the name of Jehovah the God of Israel. 2 Chr. 6:7
But Jehovah said to David my father, Whereas it was in thy heart to build a house unto my name, thou didst well that it was in thy heart; 2 Chr. 6:8
And Jehovah has performed his word which he spoke; and I am risen up in the room of David my father, and sit on the throne of Israel, as Jehovah promised, and I have built the house unto the name of Jehovah the God of Israel. 2 Chr. 6:10
who hast kept with thy servant David my father that which thou didst promise him; thou spokest with thy mouth, and hast fulfilled it with thy hand as at this day. 2 Chr. 6:15
And now, Jehovah, God of Israel, keep with thy servant David my father that which thou hast promised him saying, There shall not fail thee a man in my sight to sit on the throne of Israel, if only thy sons take heed to their way to walk in my law, as thou hast walked before me. 2 Chr. 6:16
And as for thee, if thou wilt walk before me, as David thy father walked, to do according to all that I have commanded thee, and wilt keep my statutes and mine ordinances; 2 Chr. 7:17
then will I establish the throne of thy kingdom, according as I have covenanted with David thy father, saying, There shall not fail thee a man to rule over Israel. 2 Chr. 7:18
And he appointed, according to the ordinance of David his father, the divisions of the priests for their service, and the Levites for their charges, to praise and serve before the priests, as the duty of every day required; and the doorkeepers by their divisions at every gate: for such was the commandment of David the man of God; 2 Chr. 8:14

Thy father made our yoke grievous; and now lighten the grievous servitude of thy father, and his heavy yoke that he put upon us, and we will serve thee. 2 Chr. 10:4

Look at the birds of the heaven, that they sow not, nor reap, nor gather into granaries, and your heavenly Father nourishes them. Are *ye* not much more excellent than they? Mt. 6:26

If therefore *ye*, being wicked, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much rather shall your Father who is in the heavens give good things to them that ask of him? Mt. 7:11

Every one therefore who shall confess me before men, *I* also will confess him before my Father who is in the heavens. Mt. 10:32

For I have come to set a man at variance with his father, and the daughter with her mother, and the daughter-in-law with her mother-in-law; Mt. 10:35

For the Son of man is about to come in the glory of his Father with his angels, and then he will render to each according to his doings. Mt. 16:27
See that ye do not despise one of these little ones; for I say unto you that their angels in the heavens continually behold the face of my Father who is in the heavens. Mt. 18:10
So it is not the will of your Father who is in the heavens that one of these little ones should perish. Mt. 18:14
Again I say to you, that if two of you shall agree on the earth concerning any matter, whatsoever it may be that they shall ask, it shall come to them from my Father who is in the heavens. Mt. 18:19
Thus also my heavenly Father shall do to you if ye forgive not from your hearts every one his brother. Mt. 18:35
and said, On account of this a man shall leave father and mother, and shall be united to his wife, and the two shall be one flesh? Mt. 19:5
Honour thy father and thy mother, and Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. Mt. 19:19
And every one who has left houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name's sake, shall receive a hundredfold, and shall inherit life eternal. Mt. 19:29

Or thinkest thou that I cannot now call upon my Father, and he will furnish me more than twelve legions of angels? Mt. 26:53
Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptising them to the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit; Mt. 28:19

Jesus says to her, Woman, believe me, the hour is coming when ye shall neither in this mountain nor in Jerusalem worship the Father. Jn. 4:21
But the hour is coming and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and truth; for also the Father seeks such as his worshippers. Jn. 4:23
The father therefore knew that it was in that hour in which Jesus said to him, Thy son lives; and he believed, himself and his whole house. Jn. 4:53

As the living Father has sent me and I live on account of the Father, *he* also who eats me shall live also on account of me. Jn. 6:57
And he said, Therefore said I unto you, that no one can come to me unless it be given to him from the Father. Jn. 6:65
And if also I judge, my judgment is true, because I am not alone, but I and the Father who has sent me. Jn. 8:16
I am one who bear witness concerning myself, and the Father who has sent me bears witness concerning me. Jn. 8:18

Jesus said to them, If God were your father ye would have loved me, for I came forth from God and am come from him; for neither am I come of myself, but *he* has sent me. Jn. 8:42
Ye are of the devil, as your father, and ye desire to do the lusts of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning, and has not stood in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks falsehood, he speaks of what is his own; for he is a liar and its father: Jn. 8:44
Jesus answered, I have not a demon; but I honour my Father, and ye dishonour me. Jn. 8:49
Art thou greater than our father Abraham, who has died? and the prophets have died: whom makest thou thyself? Jn. 8:53
Jesus answered, If I glorify myself, my glory is nothing: it is my Father who glorifies me, of whom ye say, He is our God. Jn. 8:54
Your father Abraham exulted in that he should see my day, and he saw and rejoiced. Jn. 8:56

If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not; Jn. 10:37
but if I do, even if ye believe not me, believe the works, that ye may know and believe that the Father is in me and I in him. Jn. 10:38
They took therefore the stone away. And Jesus lifted up his eyes on high and said, Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me; Jn. 11:41
If any one serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there also shall be *my* servant. And if any one serve me, him shall the Father honour. Jn. 12:26
Now is my soul troubled, and what shall I say? Father, save me from this hour. But on account of this have I come to this hour. Jn. 12:27
Father, glorify thy name. There came therefore a voice out of heaven, I both have glorified and will glorify it again. Jn. 12:28
For I have not spoken from myself, but the Father who sent me has himself given me commandment what I should say and what I should speak; Jn. 12:49

Now before the feast of the passover, Jesus, knowing that his hour had come that he should depart out of this world to the Father, having loved his own who were in the world, loved them to the end. Jn. 13:1
Jesus, knowing that the Father had given him all things into his hands, and that he came out from God and was going to God, Jn. 13:3
In my Father's house there are many abodes; were it not so, I had told you: for I go to prepare you a place; Jn. 14:2
Jesus says to him, I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father unless by me. Jn. 14:6

Verily, verily, I say to you, He that believes on me, the works which I do shall he do also, and he shall do greater than these, because I go to the Father. Jn. 14:12
And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, this will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. Jn. 14:13
And I will beg the Father, and he will give you another Comforter, that he may be with you for ever, Jn. 14:16
In that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you. Jn. 14:20
He that has my commandments and keeps them, he it is that loves me; but he that loves me shall be loved by my Father, and I will love him and will manifest myself to him. Jn. 14:21
Jesus answered and said to him, If any one love me, he will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our abode with him. Jn. 14:23
He that loves me not does not keep my words; and the word which ye hear is not mine, but that of the Father who has sent me. Jn. 14:24
but the Comforter, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, *he* shall teach you all things, and will bring to your remembrance all the things which I have said to you. Jn. 14:26
Ye have heard that I have said unto you, I go away and I am coming to you. If ye loved me ye would rejoice that I go to the Father, for my Father is greater than I. Jn. 14:28
but that the world may know that I love the Father, and as the Father has commanded me, thus I do. Rise up, let us go hence. Jn. 14:31
I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. Jn. 15:1
In this is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit, and ye shall become disciples of mine. Jn. 15:8
As the Father has loved me, I also have loved you: abide in my love. Jn. 15:9
If ye shall keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love, as I have kept my Father's commandments and abide in his love. Jn. 15:10
I call you no longer bondmen, for the bondman does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things which I have heard of my Father I have made known to you. Jn. 15:15
Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and have set you that ye should go and that ye should bear fruit, and that your fruit should abide, that whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name he may give you. Jn. 15:16
He that hates me hates also my Father. Jn. 15:23
If I had not done among them the works which no other one has done, they had not had sin; but now they have both seen and hated both me and my Father. Jn. 15:24
But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who goes forth from with the Father, *he* shall bear witness concerning me; Jn. 15:26
and these things they will do because they have not known the Father nor me. Jn. 16:3
of righteousness, because I go away to my Father, and ye behold me no longer; Jn. 16:10
All things that the Father has are mine; on account of this I have said that he receives of mine and shall announce it to you. Jn. 16:15

These things I have spoken to you in allegories; the hour is coming that I will no longer speak to you in allegories, but will declare to you openly concerning the Father. Jn. 16:25
In that day ye shall ask in my name; and I say not to you that I will demand of the Father for you, Jn. 16:26
for the Father himself has affection for you, because ye have had affection for me, and have believed that I came out from God. Jn. 16:27
I came out from the Father and have come into the world; again, I leave the world and go to the Father. Jn. 16:28
Behold, the hour is coming, and has come, that ye shall be scattered, each to his own, and shall leave me alone; and yet I am not alone, for the Father is with me. Jn. 16:32
These things Jesus spoke, and lifted up his eyes to heaven and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son may glorify thee; Jn. 17:1
and now glorify *me*, *thou* Father, along with thyself, with the glory which I had along with thee before the world was. Jn. 17:5
And I am no longer in the world, and these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep them in thy name which thou hast given me, that they may be one as we. Jn. 17:11
that they may be all one, as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us, that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. Jn. 17:21
Father, as to those whom thou hast given me, I desire that where I am they also may be with me, that they may behold my glory which thou hast given me, for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world. Jn. 17:24
Righteous Father, -- and the world has not known thee, but I have known thee, and these have known that thou hast sent me. Jn. 17:25
Jesus therefore said to Peter, Put the sword into the sheath; the cup which the Father has given me, shall I not drink it? Jn. 18:11
Jesus says to her, Touch me not, for I have not yet ascended to my Father; but go to my brethren and say to them, I ascend to my Father and your Father, and to my God and your God. Jn. 20:17
Jesus said therefore again to them, Peace be to you: as the Father sent me forth, I also send you. Jn. 20:21
and, being assembled with them, commanded them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to await the promise of the Father, which said he ye have heard of me. Acts 1:4
And he said to them, It is not yours to know times or seasons, which the Father has placed in his own authority; Acts 1:7
Having therefore been exalted by the right hand of God, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, he has poured out this which *ye* behold and hear. Acts 2:33
