- So I took the chiefs of your tribes, wise men and known, and made them chiefs over you, captains of thousands, and captains of hundreds, and captains of fifties, and captains of tens, and officers for your tribes. Dt. 1:15

- And I took your sin, the calf which ye had made, and burned it with fire, and crushed it, and ground it very small, until it became fine dust; and I cast the dust thereof into the brook that flowed down from the mountain. Dt. 9:21
- And I made an ark of acacia-wood, and hewed two tables of stone like the first, and went up the mountain with the two tables in my hand. Dt. 10:3

- And men shall say, Because they have forsaken the covenant of Jehovah the God of their fathers, which he had made with them when he brought them forth out of the land of Egypt; Dt. 29:25
- And Jehovah said to Moses, Behold, thou shalt sleep with thy fathers; and this people will rise up, and go a whoring after the strange gods of the land into which they enter, and will forsake me, and break my covenant which I have made with them. Dt. 31:16

- He made him ride on the high places of the earth, And he ate the produce of the field; And he made him suck honey out of the crag, And oil out of the flinty rock; Dt. 32:13
- Then Jeshurun grew fat, and kicked -- Thou art waxen fat, Thou art grown thick, And thou art covered with fatness; -- He gave up +God who made him, And lightly esteemed the Rock of his salvation. Dt. 32:15
- And the men said to her, We will be quit of this thine oath which thou hast made us swear. Josh. 2:17

- And Joshua made him stone-knives, and circumcised the children of Israel at the hill of Araloth. Josh. 5:3

- Come up to me, and help me, that we may smite Gibeon; for it has made peace with Joshua and with the children of Israel. Josh. 10:4
- And the five kings of the Amorites, the king of Jerusalem, the king of Hebron, the king of Jarmuth, the king of Lachish, and the king of Eglon, gathered themselves together, and went up, they and all their armies, and they encamped before Gibeon, and made war against it. Josh. 10:5

- I said, The Philistines will come down now upon me to Gilgal, and I have not made supplication to Jehovah; and I forced myself, and offered up the burnt-offering. 1 Sam. 13:12
- And Samuel said, As thy sword has made women childless, so shall thy mother be childless above women. And Samuel hewed Agag in pieces before Jehovah in Gilgal. 1 Sam. 15:33
- And Samuel saw Saul no more until the day of his death; for Samuel mourned over Saul; and Jehovah repented that he had made Saul king over Israel. 1 Sam. 15:35
- Then Jesse called Abinadab, and made him pass before Samuel. And he said, Neither has Jehovah chosen this one. 1 Sam. 16:8
- Then Jesse made Shammah pass by. And he said, Neither has Jehovah chosen this one. 1 Sam. 16:9
- And Jesse made seven of his sons pass before Samuel. And Samuel said to Jesse, Jehovah has not chosen these. 1 Sam. 16:10
- And Jonathan and David made a covenant, because he loved him as his own soul. 1 Sam. 18:3
- And Saul removed him from him, and made him his captain over a thousand; and he went out and came in before the people. 1 Sam. 18:13
- And Jonathan made a covenant with the house of David, saying, Let Jehovah even require it at the hand of David's enemies! 1 Sam. 20:16
- that all of you have conspired against me, and there is none that informs me when my son has made a covenant with the son of Jesse; and there is none of you that is sorry for me, or informs me that my son has stirred up my servant as a lier-in-wait against me, as at this day? 1 Sam. 22:8

- And all the elders of Israel came to the king to Hebron; and king David made a covenant with them in Hebron before Jehovah; and they anointed David king over Israel. 2 Sam. 5:3

- And David was indignant, because Jehovah had made a breach upon Uzzah; and he called that place Perez-Uzzah to this day. 2 Sam. 6:8

- And he made the porch for the throne where he judged, the porch of judgment; and it was covered with cedar from floor to floor. 1 Ki. 7:7
- And his house where he dwelt had another court within the porch, which was of the like work. And he made, like to this porch, a house for Pharaoh's daughter, whom Solomon had taken. 1 Ki. 7:8
- He was a widow's son of the tribe of Naphtali, and his father was a man of Tyre, a worker in brass; and he was full of wisdom and understanding and knowledge, to do all kinds of works in brass. And he came to king Solomon, and made all his work. 1 Ki. 7:14
- And he made two capitals of molten brass, to set upon the tops of the pillars; the height of the one capital was five cubits, and the height of the other capital was five cubits; 1 Ki. 7:16
- And he made pomegranates, namely two rows round about upon the one network, to cover the capitals that were upon the top of the pillars; and so he did for the other capital. 1 Ki. 7:18
- And he made the sea, molten, ten cubits from brim to brim, round all about; and its height was five cubits; and a line of thirty cubits encompassed it round about. 1 Ki. 7:23
- And he made ten bases of brass: four cubits was the length of one base, and the breadth four cubits, and the height three cubits. 1 Ki. 7:27
- After this manner he made the ten bases: all of them had one casting, one measure, one form. 1 Ki. 7:37
- And he made ten lavers of brass: one laver contained forty baths; every laver was four cubits; upon every one of the ten bases one laver. 1 Ki. 7:38
- And Hiram made the lavers, and the shovels, and the bowls. So Hiram ended doing all the work that he made for king Solomon for the house of Jehovah: 1 Ki. 7:40
- and the pots, and the shovels, and the bowls. And all these things, which Hiram made king Solomon for the house of Jehovah, were of bright brass. 1 Ki. 7:45
- And Solomon made all the vessels that were in the house of Jehovah: the golden altar; and the table of gold, whereon was the shewbread; 1 Ki. 7:48
- And all the work was finished that king Solomon made for the house of Jehovah. And Solomon brought in the things that David his father had dedicated; the silver and the gold and the vessels he put among the treasures of the house of Jehovah. 1 Ki. 7:51
- There was nothing in the ark save the two tables of stone which Moses placed there at Horeb, when Jehovah made a covenant with the children of Israel, when they came out of the land of Egypt. 1 Ki. 8:9
- And I have set there a place for the ark, wherein is the covenant of Jehovah, which he made with our fathers when he brought them out of the land of Egypt. 1 Ki. 8:21
- what prayer, what supplication soever be made by any man, of all thy people Israel, when they shall know every man the plague of his own heart, and shall spread forth his hands toward this house; 1 Ki. 8:38
- And let these my words, with which I have made supplication before Jehovah, be nigh to Jehovah our God day and night, that he maintain the right of his servant, and the right of his people Israel, as the matter of each day shall require; 1 Ki. 8:59
- And Jehovah said to him, I have heard thy prayer and thy supplication which thou hast made before me: I have hallowed this house, which thou hast built, to put my name there for ever; and mine eyes and my heart shall be there perpetually. 1 Ki. 9:3
- And king Solomon made a fleet of ships in Ezion-Geber, which is beside Eloth, on the shore of the Red Sea, in the land of Edom. 1 Ki. 9:26

- Thy father made our yoke grievous; and now lighten thou the grievous servitude of thy father and his heavy yoke that he put upon us, and we will serve thee. 1 Ki. 12:4
- And the young men that had grown up with him spoke to him saying, Thus shalt thou say to this people that have spoken to thee saying, Thy father made our yoke heavy, and lighten thou it for us, -- thus shalt thou say to them: My little finger is thicker than my father's loins; 1 Ki. 12:10
- and he spoke to them according to the advice of the young men, saying, My father made your yoke heavy, but *I* will add to your yoke: my father chastised you with whips, but *I* will chastise you with scorpions. 1 Ki. 12:14

- And the king took counsel, and made two calves of gold. And he said to them, It is too much for you to go up to Jerusalem: behold thy gods, Israel, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt! 1 Ki. 12:28

- And Jeroboam ordained a feast in the eighth month, on the fifteenth day of the month, like the feast that was in Judah, and he offered upon the altar. - After this thing Jeroboam turned not from his evil way, but made again from all classes of the people priests of the high places: whosoever would, he consecrated him, and he became one of the priests of the high places. 1 Ki. 13:33
- Go, tell Jeroboam, Thus saith Jehovah the God of Israel: Forasmuch as I exalted thee from among the people, and made thee prince over my people Israel, 1 Ki. 14:7

- So they feared Jehovah, and made to themselves from all classes of them priests of the high places, who offered sacrifices for them in the houses of the high places. 2 Ki. 17:32
- And Jehovah had made a covenant with them, and charged them saying, Ye shall not fear other gods, nor bow down yourselves to them, nor serve them, nor sacrifice to them; 2 Ki. 17:35

- He removed the high places, and broke the columns, and cut down the Asherahs, and broke in pieces the serpent of brass that Moses had made; for to those days the children of Israel burned incense to it: and he called it Nehushtan. 2 Ki. 18:4

- And he brought out thence all the treasures of the house of Jehovah, and the treasures of the king's house, and cut in pieces all the vessels of gold that Solomon king of Israel had made in the temple of Jehovah, as Jehovah had said. 2 Ki. 24:13
- And the king of Babylon made Mattaniah his uncle king in his stead, and changed his name to Zedekiah. 2 Ki. 24:17
- The two pillars, the one sea, and the bases which Solomon had made for the house of Jehovah: for the brass of all these vessels there was no weight. 2 Ki. 25:16

- And the children of Ammon saw that they had made themselves odious to David; and Hanun and the children of Ammon sent a thousand talents of silver to hire them chariots and horsemen out of Mesopotamia, and from the Syrians of Maacah, and from Zobah. 1 Chr. 19:6
- And the servants of Hadarezer saw that they were routed before Israel, and they made peace with David, and became his servants. And the Syrians would no more help the children of Ammon. 1 Chr. 19:19
- And the tabernacle of Jehovah, which Moses had made in the wilderness, and the altar of burnt-offering, were at that time in the high place at Gibeon. 1 Chr. 21:29

- And they ate and drank before Jehovah on that day with great joy. And they made Solomon the son of David king the second time, and anointed him to Jehovah to be prince, and Zadok to be priest. 1 Chr. 29:22
- and Solomon, and all the congregation with him, went to the high place at Gibeon; for there was God's tent of meeting which Moses the servant of Jehovah had made in the wilderness. 2 Chr. 1:3

- And he made a brazen altar: its length was twenty cubits, and its breadth twenty cubits, and its height ten cubits. 2 Chr. 4:1
- And he made the sea, molten, ten cubits from brim to brim, round all about; and its height was five cubits; and a line of thirty cubits encompassed it round about. 2 Chr. 4:2
- And he made ten lavers, and put five on the right and five on the left, to wash in them: they rinsed in them what they prepared for the burnt-offering; and the sea was for the priests to wash in. 2 Chr. 4:6
- And he made ten candlesticks of gold according to the ordinance respecting them, and set them in the temple, five on the right hand and five on the left. 2 Chr. 4:7
- And he made ten tables, and placed them in the temple, five on the right hand and five on the left. And he made a hundred golden bowls. 2 Chr. 4:8
- And he made the court of the priests, and the great court, and doors for the court, and overlaid the doors thereof with bronze. 2 Chr. 4:9
- And Huram made the pots and the shovels and the bowls. So Huram ended doing the work that he made for king Solomon in the house of God: 2 Chr. 4:11
- And he made the bases, and he made the lavers on the bases; 2 Chr. 4:14
- And Solomon made all these vessels in great number; for the weight of the brass was not ascertained. 2 Chr. 4:18
- And Solomon made all the vessels that were in the house of God: the golden altar; and the tables whereon was the shewbread; 2 Chr. 4:19
- And all the work was finished that Solomon made for the house of Jehovah. And Solomon brought in the things that David his father had dedicated; and the silver, and the gold, and all the vessels he put among the treasures of the house of God. 2 Chr. 5:1
- There was nothing in the ark save the two tables which Moses put there at Horeb, when Jehovah made a covenant with the children of Israel, when they came out of Egypt. 2 Chr. 5:10
- And in it have I put the ark, wherein is the covenant of Jehovah, which he made with the children of Israel. 2 Chr. 6:11
- For Solomon had made a platform of bronze, five cubits long, and five cubits broad, and three cubits high, and had set it in the midst of the court; and upon it he stood, and he kneeled down on his knees before the whole congregation of Israel, and spread forth his hands toward the heavens, 2 Chr. 6:13
- what prayer, what supplication soever be made by any man, or by all thy people Israel, when they shall know every man his own plague, and his own grief, and shall spread forth his hands toward this house; 2 Chr. 6:29
- Now, my God, I beseech thee, let thine eyes be open and let thine ears be attentive unto the prayer that is made in this place. 2 Chr. 6:40
- And the priests stood in their charges, and the Levites with Jehovah's instruments of music, which David the king had made to praise Jehovah, for his loving-kindness endureth for ever, when David praised by their means; and the priests sounded the trumpets opposite to them, and all Israel stood. 2 Chr. 7:6
- And Solomon hallowed the middle of the court that was before the house of Jehovah; for there he offered the burnt-offerings, and the fat of the peace-offerings, because the brazen altar which Solomon had made was not able to receive the burnt-offerings and the oblations and the fat. 2 Chr. 7:7

- And the king stood in his place, and made a covenant before Jehovah, to walk after Jehovah, and to keep his commandments and his testimonies and his statutes with all his heart and with all his soul, to perform the words of the covenant that are written in this book. 2 Chr. 34:31

- They made all thy double boards of cypress-trees of Senir; they took cedars from Lebanon to make masts for thee. Ezek. 27:5

- Aye, but thou, O man, who art *thou* that answerest again to God? Shall the thing formed say to him that has formed it, Why hast thou made me thus? Rom. 9:20
