Therefore it is on the principle of faith, that it might be according to grace, in order to the promise being sure to all the seed, not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of Abraham's faith, who is father of us all, Rom. 4:16
For scarcely for the just man will one die, for perhaps for the good man some one might also dare to die; Rom. 5:7
But law came in, in order that the offence might abound; but where sin abounded grace has overabounded, Rom. 5:20

For the scripture says to Pharaoh, For this very thing I have raised thee up from amongst men, that I might thus shew in thee my power, and so that my name should be declared in all the earth. Rom. 9:17
and that he might make known the riches of his glory upon vessels of mercy, which he had before prepared for glory, Rom. 9:23
I say then, Have they stumbled in order that they might fall? Far be the thought: but by their fall there is salvation to the nations to provoke them to jealousy. Rom. 11:11
Thou wilt say then, The branches have been broken out in order that *I* might be grafted in. Rom. 11:19
if God indeed has not spared the natural branches; lest it might be he spare not thee either. Rom. 11:21

that your faith might not stand in men's wisdom, but in God's power. 1 Cor. 2:5

Have I committed sin, abasing myself in order that *ye* might be exalted, because I gratuitously announced to you the glad tidings of God? 2 Cor. 11:7
