- and the avenger of blood find him outside the limits of his city of refuge, and the avenger of blood kill the manslayer, there shall be no blood-guiltiness upon him; Num. 35:27
- And ye shall take no satisfaction for the life of a murderer, who is guilty of death, but he shall certainly be put to death. Num. 35:31

- And the manna ceased on the morrow, when they had eaten of the old corn of the land; and there was no more manna for the children of Israel; and they ate of the produce of the land of Canaan that year. Josh. 5:12
- And he said, No; for as captain of the army of Jehovah am I now come. Then Joshua fell upon his face to the earth, and worshipped, and said to him, What saith my lord unto his servant? Josh. 5:14
- And the children of Israel shall not be able to stand before their enemies: they shall turn their backs before their enemies, for they have made themselves accursed. I will no more be with you, except ye destroy the accursed thing from your midst. Josh. 7:12
- And the men of Ai turned and saw, and behold, the smoke of the city went up to heaven, and they had no power to flee this way or that way; and the people that fled to the wilderness turned upon the pursuers. Josh. 8:20

- For it was of Jehovah that their heart was hardened, to meet Israel in battle, that they might be utterly destroyed, and that there might be no favour shewn to them, but that they might be destroyed, as Jehovah had commanded Moses. Josh. 11:20
- Only to the tribe of Levi he gave no inheritance: the offerings by fire of Jehovah the God of Israel are their inheritance, as he said to them. Josh. 13:14
- But to the tribe of Levi Moses gave no inheritance: Jehovah the God of Israel is their inheritance, as he said to them. Josh. 13:33
- For Moses had given the inheritance of the two tribes and the half tribe beyond the Jordan, but to the Levites he had given no inheritance among them. Josh. 14:3
- For the children of Joseph were two tribes, Manasseh and Ephraim; and they gave no part to the Levites in the land, save cities to dwell in, and their suburbs for their cattle and for their substance. Josh. 14:4
- And Zelophehad, the son of Hepher, the son of Gilead, the son of Machir, the son of Manasseh, had no sons, but daughters; and these are the names of his daughters: Mahlah, and Noah, Hoglah, Milcah, and Tirzah. Josh. 17:3
- But the Levites have no portion among you, for the priesthood of Jehovah is their inheritance. And Gad, and Reuben, and half the tribe of Manasseh have received their inheritance beyond the Jordan on the east, which Moses the servant of Jehovah gave them. Josh. 18:7
- Jehovah hath made the Jordan a border between us and you, ye children of Reuben and children of Gad, ye have no portion in Jehovah! And so shall your children make our children cease from fearing Jehovah. Josh. 22:25
- but to be a witness between us and you, and between our generations after us, that we might do service to Jehovah before him with our burnt-offerings, and with our sacrifices, and with our peace-offerings; that your children may not say to our children in future, Ye have no portion in Jehovah. Josh. 22:27
- And the thing was good in the sight of the children of Israel, and the children of Israel blessed God, and no more said that they would go up in warfare against them, to destroy the land in which the children of Reuben and the children of Gad dwelt. Josh. 22:33
- that ye enter not among these nations, these that remain among you; and ye shall make no mention of the name of their gods, nor cause to swear by them, neither serve them, nor bow yourselves unto them; Josh. 23:7
- For Jehovah hath dispossessed from before you great and strong nations; and as to you, no man hath been able to stand before you unto this day. Josh. 23:9
- know for a certainty that Jehovah your God will no more dispossess these nations from before you, and they shall be snares and traps unto you, and scourges in your sides, and thorns in your eyes, until ye perish from off this good land which Jehovah your God hath given you. Josh. 23:13

- And it came to pass at the end of two months, that she returned to her father, and he performed on her the vow that he had vowed; and she had known no man. And it became a fixed custom in Israel, Judg. 11:39

- For lo, thou shalt conceive, and bear a son, and no razor shall come on his head; for the boy shall be a Nazarite of God from the womb; and he shall begin to save Israel out of the hand of the Philistines. Judg. 13:5
- And the Angel of Jehovah appeared no more to Manoah and to his wife. Then Manoah knew that it was the Angel of Jehovah. Judg. 13:21
- And his father and his mother said to him, Is there no woman among the daughters of thy brethren, and among all my people, that thou goest to take a wife of the Philistines, the uncircumcised? And Samson said to his father, Take her for me, for she pleases me well. Judg. 14:3
- And they spoke to him, saying, No; but we will bind thee fast, and deliver thee into their hand; but we certainly shall not put thee to death. And they bound him with two new cords, and brought him up from the cliff. Judg. 15:13
- And he said to her, If they should bind me fast with new ropes, with which no work has been done, then should I be weak, and be as another man. Judg. 16:11
- In those days there was no king in Israel; every man did what was right in his own eyes. Judg. 17:6
- In those days there was no king in Israel, and in those days the tribe of the Danites sought for themselves an inheritance to dwell in; for to that day their lot had not fallen to them for inheritance among the tribes of Israel. Judg. 18:1
- And the five men departed, and came to Laish; and they saw the people that were therein, dwelling securely, after the manner of the Zidonians, quiet and secure; and no one was in the land who possessed authority, that might put them to shame in anything; and they were far from the Zidonians, and had nothing to do with any man. Judg. 18:7
- When ye go in, ye shall come to a people secure, and the land is spacious in every direction; for God has given it into your hands; it is a place where there is no want of anything that is on the earth. Judg. 18:10
- And there was no deliverer, for it was far from Zidon, and they had nothing to do with any man; and it lay in the valley that is by Beth-rehob. And they built the city and dwelt therein. Judg. 18:28

- And he said to him, We are travelling from Bethlehem-Judah towards the further side of mount Ephraim; from thence am I; and I went to Bethlehem-Judah, and I have to do with the house of Jehovah; and there is no man that receives me into his house. Judg. 19:18
- And we have both straw and provender for our asses; and I have bread and wine also for me, and for thy handmaid, and for the young man with thy servants: there is no lack of anything. Judg. 19:19
- And the man, the master of the house, went out to them, and said to them, No, my brethren, I pray you, do not wickedly; seeing that this man is come into my house, do not this villany. Judg. 19:23
- And he said to her, Up, and let us go; but no one answered. And he took her upon the ass; and the man rose up, and went to his place. Judg. 19:28

- And Hannah answered and said, No, my lord, I am a woman of a sorrowful spirit: I have drunk neither wine nor strong drink, but have poured out my soul before Jehovah. 1 Sam. 1:15
- And she said, Let thy bondwoman find grace in thy sight. And the woman went her way, and did eat, and her countenance was no more as before. 1 Sam. 1:18
- They that were full have hired themselves out for bread; and the hungry are so no more: Even the barren beareth seven, and she that hath many children is waxed feeble. 1 Sam. 2:5
- He keepeth the feet of his saints, but the wicked are silenced in darkness; for by strength shall no man prevail. 1 Sam. 2:9

- And the people had come into the wood, and behold, the honey flowed; but no man put his hand to his mouth, for the people feared the oath. 1 Sam. 14:26
- For, as Jehovah liveth, who has saved Israel, though it be in Jonathan my son, he shall certainly die. And no one answered him among all the people. 1 Sam. 14:39
- And Samuel saw Saul no more until the day of his death; for Samuel mourned over Saul; and Jehovah repented that he had made Saul king over Israel. 1 Sam. 15:35
- And David said to Saul, Let no man's heart fail because of him: thy servant will go and fight with this Philistine. 1 Sam. 17:32
- So David overcame the Philistine with a sling and a stone, and smote the Philistine and killed him; and there was no sword in the hand of David. 1 Sam. 17:50
- but thou shalt not cut off thy kindness from my house for ever, no, not when Jehovah cuts off the enemies of David, every one from the face of the earth. 1 Sam. 20:15
- And Jonathan arose from the table in fierce anger, and ate no meat the second day of the new moon; for he was grieved for David, because his father had done him shame. 1 Sam. 20:34
- And David came to Nob, to Ahimelech the priest; and Ahimelech trembled at meeting David, and said to him, Why art thou alone, and no man with thee? 1 Sam. 21:1
- And David said to Ahimelech the priest, The king has commanded me a business, and has said to me, Let no man know anything of the business whereon I send thee, and what I have commanded thee; and I have directed the young men to such and such a place. 1 Sam. 21:2
- And the priest answered David and said, There is no common bread under my hand, but there is holy bread; if the young men have kept themselves at least from women. 1 Sam. 21:4

- And the priest said, The sword of Goliath the Philistine, whom thou slewest in the valley of terebinths, behold, it is here wrapped in a cloth behind the ephod; if thou wilt take that, take it; for there is no other save that here. And David said, There is none like that: give it me. 1 Sam. 21:9
- that this shall be no stumbling-block to thee, nor offence of heart for my lord, either that thou hast shed blood without cause, or that my lord has avenged himself. And when Jehovah shall deal well with my lord, then remember thy handmaid. 1 Sam. 25:31
- And David took the spear and the cruse of water from Saul's head; and they went away, and no man saw it, and none knew it, and none awaked, for they were all asleep; for a deep sleep from Jehovah had fallen upon them. 1 Sam. 26:12
- And Saul said, I have sinned: return, my son David; for I will no more do thee harm, because my life was precious in thine eyes this day: behold, I have acted foolishly, and have erred exceedingly. 1 Sam. 26:21
- And it was told Saul that David had fled to Gath; and he sought no more for him. 1 Sam. 27:4
- And Saul swore unto her by Jehovah, saying, As Jehovah liveth, there shall no punishment happen to thee for this thing. 1 Sam. 28:10
- And Samuel said to Saul, Why hast thou disquieted me, to bring me up? And Saul said, I am sore distressed; for the Philistines make war against me, and God is departed from me, and answers me no more, neither by prophets nor by dreams; therefore I have called thee, that thou mayest make known to me what I shall do. 1 Sam. 28:15
- And Saul fell straightway his full length on the earth, and was sore afraid because of the words of Samuel; and there was no strength in him, for he had eaten no bread all the day nor all the night. 1 Sam. 28:20

- and have cast their gods into the fire; for they were no gods, but the work of men's hands, wood and stone; and they have destroyed them. Isa. 37:19
- I said, I shall not see Jah, Jah in the land of the living. With those who dwell where all has ceased to be, I shall behold man no more. Isa. 38:11

- Thus saith Jehovah, the King of Israel, and his Redeemer, Jehovah of hosts: I am the first, and I am the last, and beside me there is no God. Isa. 44:6
- Fear not, neither be afraid. Have I not caused thee to hear from that time, and have declared it? and ye are my witnesses. Is there a +God beside me? yea, there is no Rock: I know not any. Isa. 44:8
- They that form a graven image are all of them vanity, and their delectable things are of no profit; and they are their own witnesses: they see not, nor know; -- that they may be ashamed. Isa. 44:9
- They have no knowledge, and understand not; for he hath plastered their eyes, that they may not see; and their hearts, that they may not understand. Isa. 44:18
- I am Jehovah, and there is none else; there is no God beside me: I girded thee, and thou hast not known me; Isa. 45:5
- Woe unto him that striveth with his Maker! Let a potsherd strive with the potsherds of the earth. Shall the clay say to him that formeth it, What makest thou? Or thy work, He hath no hands? Isa. 45:9
- Thus saith Jehovah: The wealth of Egypt, and the merchandise of Ethiopia and the Sabeans, men of stature, shall come over unto thee, and they shall be thine: they shall walk after thee; in chains they shall come over, and they shall bow down unto thee, they shall make supplication unto thee, saying, Surely *God is in thee; and there is none else, no other God. ... Isa. 45:14
- Gather yourselves and come; draw near together, ye that are escaped of the nations. They have no knowledge that carry the wood of their graven image, and pray unto a *god that cannot save. Isa. 45:20
- Declare and bring them near; yea, let them take counsel together: who hath caused this to be heard from ancient time? who hath declared it long ago? Is it not I, Jehovah? And there is no God else beside me; a just *God and a Saviour, there is none besides me. Isa. 45:21
- Come down and sit in the dust, virgin-daughter of Babylon! Sit on the ground, -- there is no throne, O daughter of the Chaldeans; for thou shalt no more be called tender and delicate. Isa. 47:1
- Sit silent, and get thee into darkness, daughter of the Chaldeans; for thou shalt no more be called, Mistress of kingdoms. Isa. 47:5
- I was wroth with my people, I polluted mine inheritance, and gave them into thy hand: thou didst shew them no mercy; upon the aged didst thou very heavily lay thy yoke; Isa. 47:6
- There is no peace, saith Jehovah, unto the wicked. Isa. 48:22
- Wherefore did I come, and there was no man? I called, and there was none to answer? Is my hand at all shortened that I cannot redeem, or have I no power to deliver? behold, at my rebuke I dry up the sea, I make rivers a wilderness; their fish stink because there is no water, and die for thirst. Isa. 50:2
- Who is among you that feareth Jehovah, that hearkeneth to the voice of his servant? he that walketh in darkness, and hath no light, -- let him confide in the name of Jehovah, and stay himself upon his God. Isa. 50:10
- thus saith thy Lord, Jehovah, and thy God, who pleadeth the cause of his people, Behold, I take out of thy hand the cup of bewilderment, the goblet-cup of my fury; thou shalt no more drink it again: Isa. 51:22
- Awake, awake; put on thy strength, O Zion; put on thy beautiful garments, Jerusalem, the holy city: for henceforth there shall no more come into thee the uncircumcised and the unclean. Isa. 52:1
- For he shall grow up before him as a tender sapling, and as a root out of dry ground: he hath no form nor lordliness, and when we see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him. Isa. 53:2
- And men appointed his grave with the wicked, but he was with the rich in his death, because he had done no violence, neither was there guile in his mouth. Isa. 53:9
- For this is as the waters of Noah unto me, since I have sworn that the waters of Noah should no more go over the earth: so have I sworn that I will no more be wroth with thee, nor rebuke thee. Isa. 54:9
- No weapon that is prepared against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that riseth against thee in judgment, thou shalt condemn. This is the inheritance of the servants of Jehovah; and their righteousness is of me, saith Jehovah. Isa. 54:17
- Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters; and he that hath no money, come ye, buy, and eat: yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price! Isa. 55:1
- The righteous perisheth, and no man layeth it to heart; and merciful men are taken away, none considering that the righteous is taken away from before the evil. Isa. 57:1
- Thou wast wearied by the multitude of thy ways; but thou saidst not, It is of no avail. Thou didst find a quickening of thy strength; therefore thou wast not sick of it. Isa. 57:10
- There is no peace, saith my God, to the wicked. Isa. 57:21
- -- Wherefore have we fasted, and thou seest not; have afflicted our soul, and thou takest no knowledge? Behold, in the day of your fast ye find what pleaseth you, and exact all your labours. Isa. 58:3
- the way of peace they know not, and there is no judgment in their goings; they have made their paths crooked: whoso goeth therein knoweth not peace. Isa. 59:8
- We grope for the wall like the blind, and we grope as if we had no eyes: we stumble at midday as in the twilight; amongst the flourishing we are as the dead. Isa. 59:10
- And truth faileth; and he that departeth from evil maketh himself a prey. And Jehovah saw it, and it was evil in his sight that there was no judgment. Isa. 59:15
- And he saw that there was no man, and he wondered that there was no intercessor; and his arm brought him salvation, and his righteousness, it sustained him. Isa. 59:16
- Instead of thy being forsaken and hated, so that no one went through thee, I will make thee an eternal excellency, a joy from generation to generation. Isa. 60:15
- Violence shall no more be heard in thy land, wasting nor destruction within thy borders; but thou shalt call thy walls Salvation, and thy gates Praise. Isa. 60:18
- The sun shall be no more thy light by day, neither for brightness shall the moon give light unto thee; but Jehovah shall be thine everlasting light, and thy God thy glory. Isa. 60:19
- Thy sun shall no more go down, neither shall thy moon withdraw itself; for Jehovah shall be thine everlasting light, and the days of thy mourning shall be ended. Isa. 60:20
- Thou shalt no more be termed, Forsaken; neither shall thy land any more be termed, Desolate: but thou shalt be called, My delight is in her, and thy land, Married; for Jehovah delighteth in thee, and thy land shall be married. Isa. 62:4
- and give him no rest, till he establish, and till he make Jerusalem a praise in the earth. Isa. 62:7
- Jehovah hath sworn by his right hand and by the arm of his strength, I will indeed no more give thy corn to be food for thine enemies; and the sons of the alien shall not drink thy new wine, for which thou hast laboured; Isa. 62:8
- And I will rejoice over Jerusalem, and will joy in my people; and the voice of weeping shall be no more heard in her, nor the voice of crying. Isa. 65:19
- There shall be no more thenceforth an infant of days, nor an old man that hath not completed his days; for the youth shall die a hundred years old, and the sinner being a hundred years old shall be accursed. Isa. 65:20
- And they said not, Where is Jehovah, that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, that led us in the wilderness, in a land of deserts and of pits, in a land of drought and of the shadow of death, in a land that no one passeth through, and where no man dwelleth? Jer. 2:6
- Hath a nation changed its gods? and they are no gods; -- but my people have changed their glory for that which doth not profit. Jer. 2:11
- For my people have committed two evils: they have forsaken me, the fountain of living waters, to hew them out cisterns, broken cisterns that hold no water. Jer. 2:13
- Withhold thy foot from being unshod, and thy throat from thirst. But thou saidst, There is no hope; no, for I love strangers, and after them will I go. Jer. 2:25
- In vain have I smitten your children: they received no correction. Your own sword hath devoured your prophets, like a destroying lion. Jer. 2:30
- O generation, mark ye the word of Jehovah. Have I been a wilderness unto Israel, or a land of thick darkness? Wherefore say my people, We have dominion; we will come no more unto thee? Jer. 2:31
- And the showers have been withholden, and there hath been no latter rain; but thou hast a harlot's forehead, thou refusest to be ashamed. Jer. 3:3
- And it shall come to pass, when ye are multiplied in the land and become fruitful, in those days, saith Jehovah, they shall say no more, Ark of the covenant of Jehovah! neither shall it come to mind, nor shall they remember it, nor shall they visit it; neither shall it be done any more. Jer. 3:16
- At that time they shall call Jerusalem the throne of Jehovah; and all the nations shall be gathered unto it, to the name of Jehovah, to Jerusalem; and they shall no more walk after the stubbornness of their evil heart. Jer. 3:17
- For my people is foolish, they have not known me; they are sottish children, and they have no intelligence; they are wise to do evil, but to do good they have no knowledge. Jer. 4:22
- I beheld the earth, and lo, it was waste and empty; and the heavens, and they had no light. Jer. 4:23
- At the noise of the horsemen and bowmen, every city fleeth; they go into the thickets, and climb up upon the rocks: every city is forsaken and no man dwelleth therein. Jer. 4:29
- To whom shall I speak and testify, that they may hear? Behold, their ear is uncircumcised, and they cannot hearken: behold, the word of Jehovah is unto them a reproach; they have no delight in it. Jer. 6:10
- And they have healed the breach of the daughter of my people lightly, saying, Peace, peace! when there is no peace. Jer. 6:14
- They lay hold on bow and spear; they are cruel, and have no mercy; their voice roareth like the sea; and they ride upon horses, set in array as a man for the battle, against thee, daughter of Zion. Jer. 6:23
- if ye oppress not the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow, and shed no innocent blood in this place, neither walk after other gods to your hurt; Jer. 7:6
- Therefore, behold, days are coming, saith Jehovah, when it shall no more be said, Topheth, and Valley of the son of Hinnom, but the valley of slaughter; for they shall bury in Topheth, till there be no place. Jer. 7:32
- I hearkened and heard: they speak not what is right; there is no man who repenteth him of his wickedness, saying, What have I done? Every one turneth to his course, like a horse rushing into the battle. Jer. 8:6
- And they have healed the breach of the daughter of my people lightly, saying, Peace, peace! when there is no peace. Jer. 8:11
- I will utterly take them away, saith Jehovah: there are no grapes on the vine, nor figs on the fig-tree; and the leaf is faded: and I will give them up to those that shall pass over them. Jer. 8:13
- Peace is looked for, and there is no good; a time of healing, and behold, terror. Jer. 8:15
- For behold, I send among you serpents, vipers against which there is no charm, and they shall bite you, saith Jehovah. Jer. 8:17
- Is there no balm in Gilead? is there no physician there? Why then is there no dressing applied for the healing of the daughter of my people? Jer. 8:22
- Every man is become brutish, bereft of knowledge; every founder is put to shame by the graven image, for his molten image is falsehood, and there is no breath in them. Jer. 10:14
- And I was like a tame lamb that is led to the slaughter; and I knew not that they devised devices against me, saying, Let us destroy the tree with the fruit thereof, and let us cut him off from the land of the living, that his name may be no more remembered. Jer. 11:19
- and there shall be no remnant of them; for I will bring evil upon the men of Anathoth, in the year of their visitation. Jer. 11:23
- they have made it a desolation; desolate, it mourneth unto me: the whole land is made desolate, for no man layeth it to heart. Jer. 12:11
- Spoilers are come upon all heights in the wilderness; for the sword of Jehovah devoureth from one end of the land even to the other end of the land: no flesh hath peace. Jer. 12:12
- And their nobles send their little ones for water: they come to the pits, they find no water; they return with their vessels empty; they are ashamed, they are confounded, and have covered their heads. Jer. 14:3
- Because the ground is chapt, for there hath been no rain on the earth, the ploughmen are ashamed, they cover their heads. Jer. 14:4
- For the hind also calveth in the field, and forsaketh its young, because there is no grass. Jer. 14:5
- And the wild asses stand on the heights, they snuff up the wind like jackals; their eyes fail, because there is no herbage. Jer. 14:6
- Thus saith Jehovah to this people: Even so have they loved to wander, they have not refrained their feet; and Jehovah hath no delight in them: now will he remember their iniquity, and visit their sins. Jer. 14:10
- -- Hast thou then utterly rejected Judah? Doth thy soul loathe Zion? Why hast thou smitten us, and there is no healing for us? Peace is looked for, and there is no good, -- and a time of healing, and behold terror! Jer. 14:19
- and I will cast you forth out of this land, into a land that ye know not, ye nor your fathers; and there shall ye serve other gods day and night: because I will shew you no favour. Jer. 16:13
- Therefore, behold, days are coming, saith Jehovah, that it shall no more be said, As Jehovah liveth, who brought up the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt; Jer. 16:14
- Jehovah, my strength and my fortress, and my refuge in the day of distress, unto thee shall the nations come from the ends of the earth, and they shall say, Surely our fathers have inherited falsehood and vanity; and in these things there is no profit. Jer. 16:19
- thus saith Jehovah: Take heed to your souls, and bear no burden on the sabbath day, and bring nothing in through the gates of Jerusalem; Jer. 17:21
- and carry forth no burden out of your houses on the sabbath day, neither do any work; but hallow ye the sabbath day, as I commanded your fathers, Jer. 17:22
- And it shall come to pass, if ye diligently hearken unto me, saith Jehovah, to bring in no burden through the gates of this city on the sabbath day, and to hallow the sabbath day, to do no work therein; Jer. 17:24
- But they say, There is no hope; for we will walk after our own devices, and we will each one do according to the stubbornness of his evil heart. Jer. 18:12
- therefore behold, days come, saith Jehovah, that this place shall no more be called Topheth, nor Valley of the son of Hinnom, but the valley of slaughter. Jer. 19:6
- and shalt say unto them, Thus saith Jehovah of hosts: Even so will I break this people and this city, as one breaketh a potter's vessel, that cannot be made whole again. And they shall bury in Topheth, till there be no place to bury. Jer. 19:11
- Thus saith Jehovah: Execute judgment and righteousness, and deliver the spoiled out of the hand of the oppressor; and do no wrong, do no violence to the stranger, the fatherless, or the widow, and shed not innocent blood in this place. Jer. 22:3
- Weep not for the dead, neither bemoan him; but weep sore for him that goeth away, for he shall return no more, nor see his native country. Jer. 22:10
- for he shall die in the place whither they have led him captive, and shall see this land no more. Jer. 22:12
- Is this man Coniah a despised broken vase? a vessel wherein is no delight? Wherefore are they thrown out, he and his seed, and are cast into a land which they know not? Jer. 22:28
- Thus saith Jehovah: Write this man childless, a man that shall not prosper in his days; for no man of his seed shall prosper, sitting upon the throne of David, and ruling any more in Judah. Jer. 22:30
- And I will raise up shepherds over them, who shall feed them; and they shall fear no more, nor be dismayed, neither shall any be missing, saith Jehovah. Jer. 23:4
- Therefore behold, days are coming, saith Jehovah, that they shall no more say, As Jehovah liveth, who brought up the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt; Jer. 23:7
- They say constantly unto them that despise me, Jehovah hath said, Ye shall have peace. And they say unto every one that walketh in the stubbornness of his heart, No evil shall come upon you. Jer. 23:17
- And the burden of Jehovah shall ye mention no more; for every man's own word shall be his burden: for ye have perverted the words of the living God, of Jehovah of hosts, our God. Jer. 23:36
- And go not after other gods, to serve them and to worship them; and provoke me not to anger with the work of your hands; and I will do you no hurt. Jer. 25:6
- And thou shalt say unto them, Thus saith Jehovah of hosts, the God of Israel: Drink, and be drunken, and vomit, and fall, and rise no more, because of the sword that I will send among you. Jer. 25:27
- for thus saith Jehovah: We have heard a voice of trembling, there is fear, and no peace. Jer. 30:5
- And it shall come to pass in that day, saith Jehovah of hosts, I will break his yoke from off thy neck, and will burst thy bonds, and strangers shall no more reduce him to servitude. Jer. 30:8
- There is none to plead thy cause, to bind up thy wound; thou hast no healing medicines. Jer. 30:13
- For I will apply a bandage unto thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds, saith Jehovah; for they have called thee an outcast: This is Zion that no man seeketh after. Jer. 30:17
- In those days they shall say no more, The fathers have eaten sour grapes, and the children's teeth are set on edge: Jer. 31:29
- And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know Jehovah; for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith Jehovah: for I will pardon their iniquity, and their sin will I remember no more. Jer. 31:34
- Hast thou not seen what this people have spoken, saying, The two families that Jehovah had chosen, he hath even cast them off? And they despise my people, that they should be no more a nation before them. Jer. 33:24
- And they said, We will drink no wine; for Jonadab the son of Rechab our father commanded us, saying, Ye shall drink no wine, ye nor your sons for ever; Jer. 35:6
- And we have hearkened unto the voice of Jonadab the son of Rechab our father in all that he commanded us, to drink no wine all our days, we, our wives, our sons, and our daughters, Jer. 35:8
- Then they took Jeremiah, and cast him into the dungeon of Malchijah the son of Hammelech, which was in the court of the guard, and they let down Jeremiah with cords. And in the dungeon there was no water, but mire; and Jeremiah sank in the mire. Jer. 38:6
- My lord, O king, these men have done evil in all that they have done to the prophet Jeremiah, whom they have cast into the dungeon; and he will die by reason of the famine in the place where he is; for there is no more bread in the city. Jer. 38:9
- And Zedekiah said unto Jeremiah, Let no man know of these words, and thou shalt not die. Jer. 38:24
- Take him, and keep an eye upon him, and do him no harm; but do unto him even as he shall say unto thee. Jer. 39:12
- And Johanan the son of Kareah spoke to Gedaliah in Mizpah secretly, saying, Let me go, I pray thee, and I will smite Ishmael the son of Nethaniah and no man shall know it: why should he take thy life, and all they of Judah who are gathered unto thee be scattered, and the remnant of Judah perish? Jer. 40:15
- And it came to pass the second day after he had killed Gedaliah, and no man knew it, Jer. 41:4
- saying, No; but we will go into the land of Egypt, where we shall see no war, nor hear the sound of the trumpet, nor have hunger for bread; and there will we dwell; Jer. 42:14
- For thus saith Jehovah of hosts, the God of Israel: As mine anger and my fury have been poured forth upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, so shall my fury be poured forth upon you, when ye shall enter into Egypt; and ye shall be an execration, and an astonishment, and a curse, and a reproach, and ye shall see this place no more. Jer. 42:18
- Thus saith Jehovah of hosts, the God of Israel: Ye have seen all the evil that I have brought upon Jerusalem, and upon all the cities of Judah; and behold they are, this day, a waste, and no man dwelleth therein, Jer. 44:2
- But they hearkened not, nor inclined their ear to turn from their wickedness, to burn no incense unto other gods. Jer. 44:5
- And now thus saith Jehovah the God of hosts, the God of Israel: Wherefore commit ye great evil against your souls, to cut off from you man and woman, infant and suckling, out of the midst of Judah, to leave you no remnant; Jer. 44:7
- but we will certainly do every word that is gone forth out of our mouth, to burn incense to the queen of the heavens, and to pour out drink-offerings to her, as we have done, we and our fathers, our kings and our princes, in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem; and we had plenty of bread, and were well, and saw no evil. Jer. 44:17
- And Jehovah could no longer bear, because of the evil of your doings, and because of the abominations that ye had committed; and your land is become a waste, and an astonishment, and a curse, without inhabitant, as at this day. Jer. 44:22
- Therefore hear ye the word of Jehovah, all Judah that dwell in the land of Egypt: Behold, I have sworn by my great name, saith Jehovah, that my name shall no more be named in the mouth of any man of Judah in all the land of Egypt, saying, As the Lord Jehovah liveth. Jer. 44:26
- Thou didst say, Woe unto me! for Jehovah hath added grief to my sorrow; I am weary with my sighing, and I find no rest. Jer. 45:3
- Go up to Gilead, and fetch balm, O virgin-daughter of Egypt! In vain shalt thou multiply remedies: there is no healing for thee. Jer. 46:11
- Jehovah of hosts, the God of Israel, saith, Behold, I will punish Amon of No, and Pharaoh, and Egypt, and her gods, and her kings; yea, Pharaoh and them that confide in him. Jer. 46:25
- Moab's praise is no more; in Heshbon they have devised evil against her: Come, and let us cut her off from being a nation. Thou also, O Madmen, shalt be cut down; the sword shall pursue thee. Jer. 48:2
- And joy and gladness is taken away from the fruitful field and from the land of Moab; and I have caused wine to fail from the winepresses: they shall no more tread with shouting; the shouting shall be no shouting. Jer. 48:33
- It is wholly lamentation upon all the housetops of Moab, and in the public places thereof; for I have broken Moab, like a vessel wherein is no pleasure, saith Jehovah. Jer. 48:38
- Concerning the children of Ammon. Thus saith Jehovah: Hath Israel no sons? hath he no heir? Why is Malcam heir of Gad, and his people dwell in the cities thereof? Jer. 49:1
- Concerning Edom. Thus saith Jehovah of hosts: Is there no more wisdom in Teman? is counsel perished from the prudent? is their wisdom spent? Jer. 49:7
- As in the overthrow of Sodom and Gomorrah, and their neighbour cities, saith Jehovah, no one shall dwell there, neither shall a son of man sojourn therein. Jer. 49:18
- And Hazor shall be a dwelling-place of jackals, a desolation for ever. No one shall dwell there, neither shall a son of man sojourn therein. Jer. 49:33
- And upon Elam will I bring the four winds, from the four ends of the heavens, and I will scatter them toward all those winds; and there shall be no nation whither the outcasts of Elam shall not come. Jer. 49:36
- Put yourselves in array against Babylon round about, all ye that bend the bow; shoot at her, spare no arrows: for she hath sinned against Jehovah. Jer. 50:14
- Call together the archers against Babylon, all those that bend the bow: encamp against her round about; let there be no escaping: recompense her according to her work; according to all that she hath done, do unto her: for she hath acted proudly against Jehovah, against the Holy One of Israel. Jer. 50:29
- Therefore wild beasts of the desert with jackals shall dwell there, and ostriches shall dwell therein; and it shall be no more inhabited for ever, neither shall it be dwelt in from generation to generation. Jer. 50:39
- As when God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah, and their neighbour cities, saith Jehovah, no one shall dwell there, neither shall a son of man sojourn therein. Jer. 50:40

- Her cities are become a desolation, a dry land, and a desert, a land wherein no one dwelleth, neither doth a son of man pass thereby. Jer. 51:43
- In the fourth month, on the ninth of the month, the famine prevailed in the city, and there was no bread for the people of the land. Jer. 52:6
- The two pillars, the one sea, and the twelve brazen oxen that formed the bases, which king Solomon had made for the house of Jehovah: for the brass of all these vessels there was no weight. Jer. 52:20
- She weepeth sore in the night, and her tears are on her cheeks; among all her lovers she hath no comforter; all her friends have dealt treacherously with her, they are become her enemies. Lam. 1:2
- Judah is gone into captivity because of affliction, and because of great servitude; she dwelleth among the nations, she findeth no rest: all her pursuers have overtaken her within the straits. Lam. 1:3
- And from the daughter of Zion all her splendour is departed: her princes are become like harts that find no pasture; and they are gone without strength before the pursuer. Lam. 1:6
- Her impurity was in her skirts, she remembered not her latter end; and she came down wonderfully: she hath no comforter. Jehovah, behold my affliction; for the enemy hath magnified himself. Lam. 1:9
- They have heard that I sigh: I have no comforter: all mine enemies have heard of my calamity; they are glad that thou hast done it. Thou wilt bring the day that thou hast called, and they shall be like unto me. Lam. 1:21
- Her gates are sunk into the ground; he hath destroyed and broken her bars. Her king and her princes are among the nations: the law is no more; her prophets also find no vision from Jehovah. Lam. 2:9
- Their heart cried unto the Lord. O wall of the daughter of Zion, let tears run down like a torrent day and night: give thyself no respite; let not the apple of thine eye rest. Lam. 2:18
- The tongue of the sucking child cleaveth to the roof of his mouth for thirst; the young children ask bread, no man breaketh it unto them. Lam. 4:4
- And the punishment of the iniquity of the daughter of my people is greater than the reward of the sin of Sodom, which was overthrown as in a moment, and no hands were violently laid upon her. Lam. 4:6
- They cried unto them, Depart! Unclean! Depart! depart, touch not! When they fled away, and wandered about, it was said among the nations, They shall no more sojourn there. Lam. 4:15
- The face of Jehovah hath divided them; he will no more regard them. They respected not the persons of the priests, they favoured not the aged. Lam. 4:16
- The punishment of thine iniquity is accomplished, O daughter of Zion; he will no more carry thee away into captivity. He will visit thine iniquity, O daughter of Edom; he will discover thy sins. Lam. 4:22

- And I will accomplish my fury upon the wall, and upon them that daub it with untempered mortar, and will say unto you, The wall is no more, neither they that daubed it, Ezek. 13:15

- If I cause evil beasts to pass through the land, and they bereave it, and it become a desolation, so that no one passeth through because of the beasts; Ezek. 14:15
- Behold, when it was whole, it was used for no work; how much less when the fire hath consumed it, and it is burned, should it yet be used for any work? Ezek. 15:5
- No eye pitied thee, to do any of these unto thee, to have compassion upon thee; but thou wast cast out in the open field, from abhorrence of thy person, in the day that thou wast born. Ezek. 16:5

- And in thee is the contrary from other women, in thy whoredoms, in that none followeth thee to commit fornication; and whereas thou givest a reward, and no reward is given unto thee, so art thou contrary. Ezek. 16:34
- And they shall burn thy houses with fire, and execute judgments upon thee in the sight of many women; and I will cause thee to cease from being a harlot, and thou also shalt give no more any reward. Ezek. 16:41
- And I will appease my fury against thee, and my jealousy shall depart from thee; and I will be quiet, and will be no more angry. Ezek. 16:42
- that thou mayest remember, and be ashamed, and no more open thy mouth because of thy confusion, when I forgive thee all that thou hast done, saith the Lord Jehovah. Ezek. 16:63

- and a fire is gone out of a rod of its branches, which hath devoured its fruit; so that it hath no strong rod to be a sceptre for ruling. This is a lamentation, and shall be for a lamentation. Ezek. 19:14
- As for you, O house of Israel, thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Go ye, serve every one his idols henceforth also, if none of you will hearken unto me; but profane my holy name no more with your gifts and with your idols. Ezek. 20:39
- For the trial is made; and what if even the contemning sceptre shall be no more? saith the Lord Jehovah. Ezek. 21:13
- -- thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Remove the mitre and take off the crown; what is shall be no more. Exalt that which is low, and abase that which is high. Ezek. 21:26

- No foot of man shall pass through it, nor shall foot of beast pass through it, nor shall it be inhabited, forty years. Ezek. 29:11
- It shall be the basest of kingdoms; neither shall it exalt itself any more above the nations; and I will diminish them, so that they shall no more rule over the nations. Ezek. 29:15

- Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: I will also destroy the idols, and I will cause the images to cease out of Noph; and there shall be no more a prince out of the land of Egypt; and I will put fear in the land of Egypt. Ezek. 30:13
- And I will make Pathros desolate, and will set a fire in Zoan, and will execute judgment in No. Ezek. 30:14

- Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord Jehovah, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live. Turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel? Ezek. 33:11
- Now the hand of Jehovah had been upon me in the evening, before he that had escaped came; and he had opened my mouth against his coming to me in the morning; and my mouth was opened, and I was no more dumb. Ezek. 33:22
- And they were scattered because there was no shepherd; and they became meat to all the beasts of the field, and were scattered. Ezek. 34:5
- As I live, saith the Lord Jehovah, verily because my sheep have been a prey, and my sheep have been meat to every beast of the field, because there was no shepherd, and my shepherds searched not for my flock, but the shepherds fed themselves, and fed not my flock, Ezek. 34:8
- Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I am against the shepherds; and I will require my sheep at their hand, and cause them to cease from feeding the flock: that the shepherds may feed themselves no more; and I will deliver my sheep from their mouth, that they may not be food for them. Ezek. 34:10
- -- I will save my flock, that they may no more be a prey; and I will judge between sheep and sheep. Ezek. 34:22
- And they shall no more be a prey to the nations, neither shall the beast of the earth devour them; but they shall dwell in safety, and none shall make them afraid. Ezek. 34:28
- And I will raise up for them a plant of renown, and they shall be no more consumed with hunger in the land, neither bear the ignominy of the nations any more. Ezek. 34:29
- And I will cause men to walk upon you, even my people Israel; and they shall possess thee, and thou shalt be their inheritance, and thou shalt no more henceforth bereave them of children. Ezek. 36:12
- therefore thou shalt devour men no more, neither bereave thy nation any more, saith the Lord Jehovah; Ezek. 36:14
- And I will save you from all your uncleannesses; and I will call for the corn and will multiply it, and lay no famine upon you. Ezek. 36:29
- And I will multiply the fruit of the trees and the increase of the field, so that ye may receive no more the reproach of famine among the nations. Ezek. 36:30
- And I looked, and behold, sinews and flesh came up upon them, and the skin covered them over; but there was no breath in them. Ezek. 37:8
- and I will make them one nation in the land upon the mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king to them all: and they shall be no more two nations, neither shall they be divided into two kingdoms any more at all. Ezek. 37:22
- And no wood shall be taken out of the field, neither cut down out of the forests; for they shall make fire with the weapons; and they shall spoil those that spoiled them, and plunder those that plundered them, saith the Lord Jehovah. Ezek. 39:10
- And he said unto me, Son of man, this is the place of my throne, and the place of the soles of my feet, where I will dwell in the midst of the children of Israel for ever; and the house of Israel shall no more defile my holy name, they nor their kings, with their fornication, and with the carcases of their kings in their high places, Ezek. 43:7
- And Jehovah said unto me, This gate shall be shut; it shall not be opened, and no one shall enter in by it: for Jehovah, the God of Israel, hath entered in by it; and it shall be shut. Ezek. 44:2
- Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: No stranger, uncircumcised in heart and uncircumcised in flesh, shall enter into my sanctuary, of any stranger that is among the children of Israel. Ezek. 44:9
- And it shall come to pass when they enter in at the gates of the inner court, they shall be clothed with linen garments; and no wool shall come upon them, when they minister in the gates of the inner court, and towards the house. Ezek. 44:17
- And they shall come at no dead person to become unclean; but for father, or for mother, or for son, or for daughter, for brother, or for sister that hath had no husband, they may become unclean. Ezek. 44:25
- And it shall be unto them for an inheritance; I am their inheritance: and ye shall give them no possession in Israel; I am their possession. Ezek. 44:28
- As land shall it be his for a possession in Israel; and my princes shall no more oppress my people; but they shall give the land to the house of Israel according to their tribes. Ezek. 45:8
- youths in whom was no blemish, and of goodly countenance, and skilful in all wisdom, and acquainted with knowledge, and understanding science, and such as had ability in them to stand in the king's palace, and whom they might teach the learning and the language of the Chaldeans. Dan. 1:4
- The Chaldeans answered before the king and said, There is not a man upon the earth that can shew the king's matter; therefore there is no king, however great and powerful, that hath asked such a thing of any scribe, or magician, or Chaldean. Dan. 2:10
- Then was the iron, the clay, the brass, the silver, and the gold broken in pieces together, and they became like the chaff of the summer threshing-floors; and the wind carried them away, and no place was found for them. And the stone that smote the image became a great mountain, and filled the whole earth. Dan. 2:35
- Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego answered and said to the king, O Nebuchadnezzar, we have no need to answer thee in this matter. Dan. 3:16
- He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the appearance of the fourth is like a son of God. Dan. 3:25

- Therefore I make a decree, that in every people, nation, and language, he who shall speak anything amiss against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, shall be cut in pieces, and his house shall be made a dunghill: because there is no other God that is able to deliver after this sort. - O Belteshazzar, master of the scribes, because I know that the spirit of the holy gods is in thee, and no secret is too hard for thee, tell me the visions of my dream which I have seen, and the interpretation of it. Dan. 4:9
- and over these, three presidents -- of whom Daniel was one -- to whom these satraps should render account, and that the king should suffer no loss. Dan. 6:2
- Then these men came in a body unto the king, and said unto the king, Know, O king, that the law of the Medes and Persians is, That no decree nor statute which the king establisheth may be changed. Dan. 6:15
- My God hath sent his angel, and hath shut the lions' mouths, that they have not hurt me; forasmuch as before him innocence was found in me; and also before thee, O king, have I done no hurt. Dan. 6:22
- Thereupon was the king exceeding glad, and commanded that they should take Daniel up out of the den. So Daniel was taken up out of the den, and no manner of hurt was found upon him, because he believed in his God. Dan. 6:23
- I saw the ram pushing westward, and northward, and southward, and no beast could stand before him, neither was there any that could deliver out of his hand; and he did according to his will, and became great. Dan. 8:4
- And I saw him come close to the ram, and he was enraged with him, and smote the ram, and broke his two horns; and there was no power in the ram to stand before him; and he cast him down to the ground, and trampled upon him; and there was none that could deliver the ram out of his hand. Dan. 8:7
- I ate no pleasant bread, neither came flesh nor wine into my mouth, neither did I anoint myself at all, till three full weeks were fulfilled. Dan. 10:3
- And I was left alone, and saw this great vision, and there remained no strength in me; and my comeliness was turned in me into corruption, and I retained no strength. Dan. 10:8
- And behold, one after the likeness of the sons of men touched my lips; and I opened my mouth and spoke, and said unto him that stood before me, My lord, by reason of the vision my pains are turned upon me, and I retain no strength. Dan. 10:16
- And how can the servant of this my lord talk with this my lord? for as for me, straightway there remaineth no strength in me, neither is there breath left in me. Dan. 10:17
- And the king of the north shall come, and cast up a mound, and take the well-fenced city; and the arms of the south shall not withstand, neither his chosen people, for there shall be no strength to withstand. Dan. 11:15
- And she conceived again, and bore a daughter. And he said unto him, Call her name Lo-ruhamah; for I will no more have mercy upon the house of Israel, so that I should pardon them. Hos. 1:6
- And it shall be in that day, saith Jehovah, that thou shalt call me, My husband, and shalt call me no more, Baali; Hos. 2:16
- for I will take away the names of the Baals out of her mouth, and they shall no more be remembered by their name. Hos. 2:17
- Hear the word of Jehovah, ye children of Israel; for Jehovah hath a controversy with the inhabitants of the land; for there is no truth, nor goodness, nor knowledge of God in the land. Hos. 4:1
- Yet let no man strive, and let no man reprove; for thy people are as they that strive with the priest. Hos. 4:4
- My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge; for thou hast rejected knowledge, and I will reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me; seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I also will forget thy children. Hos. 4:6
- For from Israel is this also: -- a workman made it, and it is no God: for the calf of Samaria shall be broken in pieces. Hos. 8:6
- For they have sown the wind, and they shall reap the whirlwind: it hath no stalk; should it sprout, it would yield no meal; if so be it yield, strangers shall swallow it up. Hos. 8:7
- Israel is swallowed up: now are they become among the nations as a vessel wherein is no pleasure. Hos. 8:8
- They sacrifice flesh for the sacrifices of mine offerings, and eat it; Jehovah hath no delight in them. Now will he remember their iniquity, and visit their sins: they shall return to Egypt. Hos. 8:13
- They shall pour out no offerings of wine to Jehovah, neither shall their sacrifices be pleasing unto him: they shall be unto them as the bread of mourners; all that eat thereof shall be defiled: for their bread shall be for themselves; it shall not come into the house of Jehovah. Hos. 9:4
- As for Ephraim, their glory shall fly away as a bird, -- no birth, no pregnancy, no conception! Hos. 9:11
- All their wickedness is in Gilgal; for there I hated them: because of the wickedness of their doings, I will drive them out of my house, I will love them no more: all their princes are rebellious. Hos. 9:15
- Ephraim is smitten: their root is dried up, they shall bear no fruit; yea, though they should bring forth, yet will I slay the beloved fruit of their womb. Hos. 9:16
- For now they will say, We have no king, for we feared not Jehovah; and a king, what can he do for us? Hos. 10:3
- Yet I am Jehovah thy God from the land of Egypt, and thou hast known no God but me; and there is no saviour besides me. Hos. 13:4
- How do the beasts groan! The herds of cattle are bewildered, for they have no pasture; the flocks of sheep also are in suffering. Joel 1:18
- And Jehovah will answer and say unto his people, Behold, I send you corn, and new wine, and oil, and ye shall be satisfied therewith; and I will no more make you a reproach among the nations. Joel 2:19
- And ye shall know that I, Jehovah, am your God, dwelling in Zion, my holy mountain; and Jerusalem shall be holy, and no strangers shall pass through her any more. Joel 3:17
- Will a lion roar in the forest when he hath no prey? Will a young lion cry out of his den if he have taken nothing? Amos 3:4
- Can a bird fall in a snare upon the earth when no gin is laid for him? Will the snare spring up from the earth when nothing at all hath been taken? Amos 3:5
- The virgin of Israel is fallen; she shall no more arise: she is cast down upon her land; there is none to raise her up. Amos 5:2
- Shall not the day of Jehovah be darkness, and not light? even very dark, and no brightness in it? Amos 5:20
- And Amos answered and said to Amaziah, I was no prophet, neither was I a prophet's son; but I was a herdman, and a gatherer of sycamore fruit. Amos 7:14
- And I will plant them upon their land, and they shall no more be plucked up out of their land which I have given them, saith Jehovah thy God. Amos 9:15
- All the men of thy confederacy have pushed thee to the border; the men that were at peace with thee have deceived thee, they have prevailed against thee; they that eat thy bread have laid a snare under thee. There is no understanding in him. Oba. 1:7
- And the seers shall be ashamed, and the diviners confounded; and they shall all cover their lips, for there will be no answer of God. Mic. 3:7
- The heads thereof judge for reward, and the priests thereof teach for hire, and the prophets thereof divine for money; yet do they lean upon Jehovah, and say, Is not Jehovah in the midst of us? no evil shall come upon us. Mic. 3:11
- Now why dost thou cry out aloud? Is there no king in thee? is thy counsellor perished, that pangs have seized thee as a woman in travail? Mic. 4:9
- And I will cut off sorceries out of thy hand; and thou shalt have no soothsayers. Mic. 5:12
- Thy graven images also will I cut off, and thy statues out of the midst of thee; and thou shalt no more bow down to the work of thy hands. Mic. 5:13
- Woe is me! for I am as when they have gathered the summer-fruits, as the grape-gleanings of the vintage. There is no cluster to eat; there is no early fruit which my soul desired. Mic. 7:1
- Thus saith Jehovah: Though they be complete in number, and many as they be, even so shall they be cut down, and he shall pass away; and though I have afflicted thee, I will afflict thee no more. Nah. 1:12
- And Jehovah hath given commandment concerning thee, that no more of thy name be sown: out of the house of thy god will I cut off the graven image, and the molten image: I will prepare thy grave; for thou art vile. Nah. 1:14
- * Behold upon the mountains the feet of him that bringeth glad tidings, that publisheth peace! Celebrate thy feasts, Judah, perform thy vows: for the wicked one shall no more pass through thee; he is utterly cut off. Nah. 1:15
- Plunder the silver, plunder the gold; for there is no end of the splendid store of all precious vessels. Nah. 2:9
- Behold, I am against thee, saith Jehovah of hosts: and I will burn her chariots into smoke; and the sword shall devour thy young lions, and I will cut off thy prey from the earth; and the voice of thy messengers shall no more be heard. Nah. 2:13
- The horseman springing up, and the glitter of the sword, and the flash of the spear, and a multitude of slain, and a mass of carcases, and no end of corpses: they stumble over their corpses. Nah. 3:3
- Thy shepherds slumber, O king of Assyria; thy nobles lie still; thy people are scattered upon the mountains, and no man gathereth them. Nah. 3:18
- There is no healing of thy breach; thy wound is grievous; all that hear the report of thee clap the hands over thee; for upon whom hath not thy wickedness passed continually? Nah. 3:19
- And thou makest men as the fishes of the sea, as the creeping things, that have no ruler over them. Hab. 1:14

- Woe unto the inhabitants of the sea-coast, the nation of the Cherethites! The word of Jehovah is against you, O Canaan, land of the Philistines: I will destroy thee, that there shall be no inhabitant; Zeph. 2:5
- The righteous Jehovah is in the midst of her: he doeth no wrong. Every morning doth he bring his judgment to light; it faileth not: but the unrighteous knoweth no shame. Zeph. 3:5
- I have cut off nations: their battlements are desolate; I made their streets waste, that none passeth by; their cities are destroyed, so that there is no man, so that there is no inhabitant. Zeph. 3:6
- In that day thou shalt not be ashamed for all thy doings wherein thou hast transgressed against me; for then I will take away out of the midst of thee them that exult in thy pride, and thou shalt no more be haughty because of my holy mountain. Zeph. 3:11
- If one bear holy flesh in the skirt of his garment, and with his skirt do touch bread, or pottage, or wine, or oil, or any food -- shall it become holy? And the priests answered and said, No. Hag. 2:12
- And I said, What come these to do? And he spoke, saying, Those are the horns which scattered Judah, so that no man lifted up his head; but these are come to affright them, to cast out the horns of the nations, which lifted up the horn against the land of Judah to scatter it. Zech. 1:21
- And the angel that talked with me answered and said unto me, Knowest thou not what these are? And I said, No, my lord. Zech. 4:5

- and I scattered them with a whirlwind among all the nations whom they knew not, and the land was desolate after them, so that no one passed through nor returned; and they laid the pleasant land desolate. Zech. 7:14
- For before those days there was no hire for man, nor any hire for beast; and there was no peace for him that went out or that came in, because of the distress: for I let loose all men, every one against his neighbour. Zech. 8:10
- and let none of you imagine evil in your hearts against his neighbour; and love no false oath: for all these are things that I hate, saith Jehovah. Zech. 8:17
- As for thee also, by the blood of thy covenant, I will send forth thy prisoners out of the pit wherein is no water. Zech. 9:11
- For the teraphim have spoken vanity, and the diviners have seen a lie, and have told false dreams: they comfort in vain. Therefore they have gone away as a flock, they are in distress, because there is no shepherd. Zech. 10:2
- For I will no more pity the inhabitants of the land, saith Jehovah, and behold, I will deliver men, every one into his neighbour's hand, and into the hand of his king; and they shall smite the land, and I will not deliver out of their hand. Zech. 11:6
- And it shall come to pass in that day, saith Jehovah of hosts, that I will cut off the names of the idols out of the land, and they shall no more be remembered; and also I will cause the prophets and the unclean spirit to pass out of the land. Zech. 13:2
- And he shall say, I am no prophet, I am a tiller of the ground; for man acquired me as bondman from my youth. Zech. 13:5
- And men shall dwell in it, and there shall be no more utter destruction; and Jerusalem shall dwell safely. Zech. 14:11
- And it shall be, that whoso goeth not up of the families of the earth unto Jerusalem to worship the King, Jehovah of hosts, upon them shall be no rain. Zech. 14:17
- And every pot in Jerusalem and in Judah shall be holiness unto Jehovah of hosts; and all they that sacrifice shall come and take of them, and seethe therein. And in that day there shall be no more a Canaanite in the house of Jehovah of hosts. Zech. 14:21
- Who is there among you that would even shut the doors? and ye would not kindle fire on mine altar for nothing. I have no delight in you, saith Jehovah of hosts, neither will I accept an oblation at your hand. Mal. 1:10
- Bring the whole tithe into the treasure-house, that there may be food in my house, and prove me now herewith, saith Jehovah of hosts, if I open not to you the windows of the heavens, and pour you out a blessing, till there be no place for it. Mal. 3:10
- And *thou* Bethlehem, land of Juda, art in no wise the least among the governors of Juda; for out of thee shall go forth a leader who shall shepherd my people Israel. Mt. 2:6
- *Ye* are the salt of the earth; but if the salt have become insipid, wherewith shall it be salted? It is no longer fit for anything but to be cast out and to be trodden under foot by men. Mt. 5:13
- For verily I say unto you, Until the heaven and the earth pass away, one iota or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law till all come to pass. Mt. 5:18
- For I say unto you, that unless your righteousness surpass that of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no wise enter into the kingdom of the heavens. Mt. 5:20
- Verily I say to thee, Thou shalt in no wise come out thence till thou hast paid the last farthing. Mt. 5:26
- Take heed not to do your alms before men to be seen of them, otherwise ye have no reward with your Father who is in the heavens. Mt. 6:1
- No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and will love the other, or he will hold to the one and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon. Mt. 6:24
- And Jesus says to him, See thou tell no man, but go, shew thyself to the priest, and offer the gift which Moses ordained, for a testimony to them. Mt. 8:4
- And there met him, when he came to the other side, to the country of the Gergesenes, two possessed by demons, coming out of the tombs, exceeding dangerous, so that no one was able to pass by that way. Mt. 8:28
- But no one puts a patch of new cloth on an old garment, for its filling up takes from the garment and a worse rent takes place. Mt. 9:16
- And their eyes were opened; and Jesus charged them sharply, saying, See, let no man know it. Mt. 9:30
- And whosoever shall give to drink to one of these little ones a cup of cold water only, in the name of a disciple, verily I say unto you, he shall in no wise lose his reward. Mt. 10:42
- All things have been delivered to me by my Father, and no one knows the Son but the Father, nor does any one know the Father, but the Son, and he to whom the Son may be pleased to reveal him. Mt. 11:27
- but has no root in himself, but is for a time only; and when tribulation or persecution happens on account of the word, he is immediately offended. Mt. 13:21
- But he said, No; lest in gathering the darnel ye should root up the wheat with it. Mt. 13:29
- But Jesus said to them, They have no need to go: give *ye* them to eat. Mt. 14:16
- and he shall in no wise honour his father or his mother; and ye have made void the commandment of God on account of your traditional teaching. Mt. 15:6

- Then he enjoined on his disciples that they should say to no man that he was the Christ. Mt. 16:20
- And Peter taking him to him began to rebuke him, saying, God be favourable to thee, Lord; this shall in no wise be unto thee. Mt. 16:22
- And lifting up their eyes, they saw no one but Jesus alone. Mt. 17:8
- And as they descended from the mountain, Jesus charged them, saying, Tell the vision to no one, until the Son of man be risen up from among the dead. Mt. 17:9
- so that they are no longer two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let not man separate. Mt. 19:6
- They say to him, Because no man has hired us. He says to them, Go also ye into the vineyard and whatsoever may be just ye shall receive. Mt. 20:7
- On that day came to him Sadducees, who say there is no resurrection; and they demanded of him, Mt. 22:23
- And no one was able to answer him a word, nor did any one dare from that day to question him any more. Mt. 22:46
- for I say unto you, Ye shall in no wise see me henceforth until ye say, Blessed be he that comes in the name of the Lord. Mt. 23:39

- but whosoever shall speak injuriously against the Holy Spirit, to eternity has no forgiveness; but lies under the guilt of an everlasting sin; Mk. 3:29
- And another fell on the rocky ground, where it had not much earth, and immediately it sprung up out of the ground because it had no depth of earth; Mk. 4:5
- And another fell among the thorns, and the thorns grew up and choked it, and it yielded no fruit. Mk. 4:7
- and they have no root in themselves, but are for a time: then, tribulation arising, or persecution on account of the word, immediately they are offended. Mk. 4:17

- and he commanded them that they should take nothing for the way, save a staff only; no scrip, no bread, no money in their belt; Mk. 6:8
- And ye no longer suffer him to do anything for his father or his mother; Mk. 7:12
- And he charged them that they should speak to no one of it. But so much the more *he* charged them, so much the more abundantly *they* proclaimed it; Mk. 7:36
- And groaning in his spirit, he says, Why does this generation seek a sign? Verily I say unto you, A sign shall in no wise be given to this generation. Mk. 8:12
- And they reasoned with one another, saying, It is because we have no bread. Mk. 8:16
- And Jesus knowing it, says to them, Why reason ye because ye have no bread? Do ye not yet perceive nor understand? Have ye your heart yet hardened? Mk. 8:17
- And he charged them straitly, in order that they should tell no man about him. Mk. 8:30
- And suddenly having looked around, they no longer saw any one, but Jesus alone with themselves. Mk. 9:8
- And as they descended from the mountain, he charged them that they should relate to no one what they had seen, unless when the Son of man should be risen from among the dead. Mk. 9:9
- But Jesus, seeing that the crowd was running up together, rebuked the unclean spirit, saying to him, Thou dumb and deaf spirit, *I* command thee, come out of him, and enter no more into him. Mk. 9:25
- But Jesus said, Forbid him not; for there is no one who shall do a miracle in my name, and be able soon after to speak ill of me; Mk. 9:39
- For whosoever shall give you a cup of water to drink in my name, because ye are Christ's, verily I say unto you, he shall in no wise lose his reward. Mk. 9:41
- and the two shall be one flesh: so that they are no longer two but one flesh. Mk. 10:8
- Verily I say to you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, shall in no wise enter into it. Mk. 10:15
- But Jesus said to him, Why callest thou me good? no one is good but one, that is God. Mk. 10:18
- Jesus answering said, Verily I say to you, There is no one who has left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake and for the sake of the gospel, Mk. 10:29
- and says to them, Go into the village which is over against you, and immediately on entering into it ye will find a colt tied, upon which no child of man has ever sat: loose it and lead it here. Mk. 11:2
- And answering he said to it, Let no one eat fruit of thee any more for ever. And his disciples heard it. Mk. 11:14

- Teacher, Moses wrote to us that if any one's brother die, and leave a wife behind, and leave no children, that his brother shall take his wife, and raise up seed to his brother. Mk. 12:19
- And Jesus, seeing that he had answered intelligently, said to him, Thou art not far from the kingdom of God. And no one dared question him any more. Mk. 12:34
- and if the Lord had not cut short those days, no flesh should have been saved; but on account of the elect whom he has chosen, he has cut short those days. Mk. 13:20
- Verily I say unto you, This generation shall in no wise pass away, till all these things take place. Mk. 13:30

- But of that day or of that hour no one knows, neither the angels who are in heaven, nor the Son, but the Father. Mk. 13:32

- And no one having drunk old wine straightway wishes for new, for he says, The old is better. Lk. 5:39
- For there is no good tree which produces corrupt fruit, nor a corrupt tree which produces good fruit; Lk. 6:43
- for I say unto you, Among them that are born of women a greater prophet is no one than John the baptist; but he who is a little one in the kingdom of God is greater than he. Lk. 7:28
- But those upon the rock, those who when they hear receive the word with joy; and these have no root, who believe for a time, and in time of trial fall away. Lk. 8:13
- But that that fell where the thorns were, these are they who having heard go away and are choked under cares and riches and pleasures of life, and bring no fruit to perfection. Lk. 8:14
- And no one having lighted a lamp covers it with a vessel or puts it under a couch, but sets it on a lamp-stand, that they who enter in may see the light. Lk. 8:16
- And as he got out of the ship on the land, a certain man out of the city met him, who had demons a long time, and put on no clothes, and did not abide in a house, but in the tombs. Lk. 8:27
- And when he came to the house he suffered no one to go in but Peter and John and James and the father of the child and the mother. Lk. 8:51
- And her parents were amazed; but he enjoined them to tell no one what had happened. Lk. 8:56

- Jesus saw Nathanael coming to him, and says of him, Behold one truly an Israelite, in whom there is no guile. Jn. 1:47
- And wine being deficient, the mother of Jesus says to him, They have no wine. Jn. 2:3
- And no one has gone up into heaven, save he who came down out of heaven, the Son of man who is in heaven. Jn. 3:13
- and what he has seen and has heard, this he testifies; and no one receives his testimony. Jn. 3:32
- The Samaritan woman therefore says to him, How dost thou, being a Jew, ask to drink of me who am a Samaritan woman? for Jews have no intercourse with Samaritans. Jn. 4:9
- And upon this came his disciples, and wondered that he spoke with a woman; yet no one said, What seekest thou? or, Why speakest thou with her? Jn. 4:27
- and they said to the woman, It is no longer on account of thy saying that we believe, for we have heard him ourselves, and we know that this is indeed the Saviour of the world. Jn. 4:42
- for Jesus himself bore witness that a prophet has no honour in his own country. Jn. 4:44
- After these things Jesus finds him in the temple, and said to him, Behold, thou art become well: sin no more, that something worse do not happen to thee. Jn. 5:14
- On the morrow the crowd which stood on the other side of the sea, having seen that there was no other little ship there except that into which his disciples had got, and that Jesus had not gone with his disciples into the ship, but that his disciples had gone away alone; Jn. 6:22
- No one can come to me except the Father who has sent me draw him, and I will raise him up in the last day. Jn. 6:44
- Jesus therefore said to them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Unless ye shall have eaten the flesh of the Son of man, and drunk his blood, ye have no life in yourselves. Jn. 6:53
- And he said, Therefore said I unto you, that no one can come to me unless it be given to him from the Father. Jn. 6:65
- From that time many of his disciples went away back and walked no more with him. Jn. 6:66
- for no one does anything in secret and himself seeks to be known in public. If thou doest these things, manifest thyself to the world: Jn. 7:4
- And there was much murmuring concerning him among the crowds. Some said, He is a good man; others said, No; but he deceives the crowd. Jn. 7:12
- However, no one spoke openly concerning him on account of their fear of the Jews. Jn. 7:13
- Has not Moses given you the law, and no one of you practises the law? Why do ye seek to kill me? Jn. 7:19
- But as to this man we know whence he is. Now as to the Christ, when he comes, no one knows whence he is. Jn. 7:27
- They sought therefore to take him; and no one laid his hand upon him, because his hour had not yet come. Jn. 7:30

- And she said, No one, sir. And Jesus said to her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more. Jn. 8:11
- Ye judge according to the flesh, I judge no one. Jn. 8:15
- These words spoke he in the treasury, teaching in the temple; and no one took him, for his hour was not yet come. Jn. 8:20
- I know that ye are Abraham's seed; but ye seek to kill me, because my word has no entrance in you. Jn. 8:37
- Ye are of the devil, as your father, and ye desire to do the lusts of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning, and has not stood in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks falsehood, he speaks of what is his own; for he is a liar and its father: Jn. 8:44
- I must work the works of him that has sent me while it is day. The night is coming, when no one can work. Jn. 9:4
- Some said, It is he; others said, No, but he is like him: *he* said, It is I. Jn. 9:9
- No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have authority to lay it down and I have authority to take it again. I have received this commandment of my Father. Jn. 10:18
- and I give them life eternal; and they shall never perish, and no one shall seize them out of my hand. Jn. 10:28
- My Father who has given them to me is greater than all, and no one can seize out of the hand of my Father. Jn. 10:29
- And many came to him, and said, John did no sign; but all things which John said of this man were true. Jn. 10:41
- Jesus therefore walked no longer openly among the Jews, but went away thence into the country near the desert, to a city called Ephraim, and there he sojourned with the disciples. Jn. 11:54
- Jesus says to him, I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father unless by me. Jn. 14:6
- Yet a little and the world sees me no longer; but ye see me; because I live ye also shall live. Jn. 14:19
- I will no longer speak much with you, for the ruler of the world comes, and in me he has nothing; Jn. 14:30
- No one has greater love than this, that one should lay down his life for his friends. Jn. 15:13
- I call you no longer bondmen, for the bondman does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things which I have heard of my Father I have made known to you. Jn. 15:15
- If I had not come and spoken to them, they had not had sin; but now they have no excuse for their sin. Jn. 15:22
- If I had not done among them the works which no other one has done, they had not had sin; but now they have both seen and hated both me and my Father. Jn. 15:24
- of righteousness, because I go away to my Father, and ye behold me no longer; Jn. 16:10
- A woman, when she gives birth to a child, has grief because her hour has come; but when the child is born, she no longer remembers the trouble, on account of the joy that a man has been born into the world. Jn. 16:21
- And ye now therefore have grief; but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no one takes from you. Jn. 16:22
- These things I have spoken to you in allegories; the hour is coming that I will no longer speak to you in allegories, but will declare to you openly concerning the Father. Jn. 16:25
- His disciples say to him, Lo, now thou speakest openly and utterest no allegory. Jn. 16:29
- And I am no longer in the world, and these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep them in thy name which thou hast given me, that they may be one as we. Jn. 17:11
- Pilate says to him, What is truth? And having said this he went out again to the Jews, and says to them, I find no fault whatever in him. Jn. 18:38
- And Pilate went out again and says to them, Lo, I bring him out to you, that ye may know that I find in him no fault whatever. Jn. 19:4
- When therefore the chief priests and the officers saw him they cried out saying, Crucify, crucify him. Pilate says to them, Take him ye and crucify him, for I find no fault in him. Jn. 19:6
- and went into the praetorium again and says to Jesus, Whence art thou? But Jesus gave him no answer. Jn. 19:9
- Jesus answered, Thou hadst no authority whatever against me if it were not given to thee from above. On this account he that has delivered me up to thee has the greater sin. Jn. 19:11
- But they cried out, Take him away, take him away, crucify him. Pilate says to them, Shall I crucify your king? The chief priests answered, We have no king but Caesar. Jn. 19:15
- But there was in the place where he had been crucified a garden, and in the garden a new tomb in which no one had ever been laid. Jn. 19:41
- Jesus therefore says to them, Children, have ye anything to eat? They answered him, No. Jn. 21:5
- And he said to them, Cast the net at the right side of the ship and ye will find. They cast therefore, and they could no longer draw it, from the multitude of fishes. Jn. 21:6
- For it is written in the book of Psalms, Let his homestead become desolate, and let there be no dweller in it; and, Let another take his overseership. Acts 1:20
- But that it be not further spread among the people, let us threaten them severely no longer to speak to any man in this name. Acts 4:17
- But they, having further threatened them, let them go, finding no way how they might punish them, on account of the people, because all glorified God for what had taken place; Acts 4:21
- but of the rest durst no man join them, but the people magnified them; Acts 5:13
- saying, We found the prison shut with all security, and the keepers standing at the doors; but when we had opened them, within we found no one. Acts 5:23
- And he did not give him an inheritance in it, not even what his foot could stand on; and promised to give it to him for a possession, and to his seed after him, when he had no child. Acts 7:5
- But a famine came upon all the land of Egypt and Canaan, and great distress, and our fathers found no food. Acts 7:11
- But when they came up out of the water the Spirit of the Lord caught away Philip, and the eunuch saw him no longer, for he went on his way rejoicing. Acts 8:39
- But the men who were travelling with him stood speechless, hearing the voice but beholding no one. Acts 9:7
- And Saul rose up from the earth, and his eyes being opened he saw no one. But leading him by the hand they brought him into Damascus. Acts 9:8
- And Peter said, In no wise, Lord; for I have never eaten anything common or unclean. Acts 10:14
- And he said to them, *Ye* know how it is unlawful for a Jew to be joined or come to one of a strange race, and to *me* God has shewn to call no man common or unclean. Acts 10:28
- And Peter opening his mouth said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons, Acts 10:34
- And I said, In no wise, Lord, for common or unclean has never entered into my mouth. Acts 11:8
- They then who had been scattered abroad through the tribulation that took place on the occasion of Stephen, passed through the country to Phoenicia and Cyprus and Antioch, speaking the word to no one but to Jews alone. Acts 11:19
- And when it was day there was no small disturbance among the soldiers, what then was become of Peter. Acts 12:18
- And having found no cause of death in him, they begged of Pilate that he might be slain. Acts 13:28
- But that he raised him from among the dead, no more to return to corruption, he spoke thus: I will give to you the faithful mercies of David. Acts 13:34
- Behold, ye despisers, and wonder and perish; for *I* work a work in your days, a work which ye will in no wise believe if one declare it to you. Acts 13:41
- And they stayed no little time with the disciples. Acts 14:28
- A commotion therefore having taken place, and no small discussion on the part of Paul and Barnabas against them, they arranged that Paul and Barnabas, and certain others from amongst them, should go up to Jerusalem to the apostles and elders about this question. Acts 15:2

- but that by law no one is justified with God is evident, because The just shall live on the principle of faith; Gal. 3:11
- Brethren, (I speak according to man,) even man's confirmed covenant no one sets aside, or adds other dispositions to. Gal. 3:15
- Now I say this, A covenant confirmed beforehand by God, the law, which took place four hundred and thirty years after, does not annul, so as to make the promise of no effect. Gal. 3:17
- For if the inheritance be on the principle of law, it is no longer on the principle of promise; but God gave it in grace to Abraham by promise. Gal. 3:18

- And his eyes are a flame of fire, and upon his head many diadems, having a name written which no one knows but himself; Rev. 19:12
- Blessed and holy he who has part in the first resurrection: over these the second death has no power; but they shall be priests of God and of the Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years. Rev. 20:6
