And he said to him, If now I have found favour in thine eyes, shew me a sign that it is thou who talkest with me. Judg. 6:17
And now proclaim in the ears of the people, saying, Whoever is timid and afraid, let him go back and turn from mount Gilead. And there went back of the people twenty-two thousand; and there remained ten thousand. Judg. 7:3
And they took the victuals of the people in their hand, and their trumpets; and all the men of Israel he sent away, every man to his tent, but retained the three hundred men. Now the camp of Midian was beneath him in the valley. Judg. 7:8
And he said to them, What have I done now in comparison with you? Are not the gleanings of Ephraim better than the vintage of Abi-ezer? Judg. 8:2
Now Zebah and Zalmunna were in Karkor, and their camp with them, about fifteen thousand men, all that were left of the whole camp of the children of the east; for there had fallen a hundred and twenty thousand men that drew sword. Judg. 8:10

And the elders of Gilead said to Jephthah, Therefore we have returned to thee now, that thou mayest go with us, and fight against the children of Ammon, and be head over all of us the inhabitants of Gilead. Judg. 11:8
And the king of the children of Ammon said to the messengers of Jephthah, Because Israel took away my land, when they came up out of Egypt, from the Arnon even unto the Jabbok and unto the Jordan; and now restore it peaceably. Judg. 11:13
And now Jehovah the God of Israel has dispossessed the Amorites from before his people Israel, and shouldest thou take possession of it? Judg. 11:23
And now art thou indeed better than Balak the son of Zippor, king of Moab? did he ever strive with Israel? did he ever fight against them? Judg. 11:25
Then they said to him, Say now Shibboleth! and he said, Sibboleth, and did not manage to pronounce it rightly. Then they took him, and slaughtered him at the fords of the Jordan. And there fell at that time of Ephraim forty-two thousand. Judg. 12:6

And he went up, and told his father and his mother, and said, I have seen a woman in Timnathah of the daughters of the Philistines; and now take her for me as wife. Judg. 14:2
And his father and his mother did not know that it was of Jehovah, that he was seeking an occasion against the Philistines. Now at that time the Philistines were ruling over Israel. Judg. 14:4
And Samson said to them, Let me now propound a riddle to you; if ye clearly explain it to me within the seven days of the feast, and find it out, then I will give you thirty shirts, and thirty changes of garments. Judg. 14:12
And he was very thirsty, and called on Jehovah, and said, Thou hast given by the hand of thy servant this great deliverance, and now shall I die for thirst, and fall into the hand of the uncircumcised? Judg. 15:18
Now she had liers in wait abiding in the chamber; and she said to him, The Philistines are upon thee, Samson! And he broke the cords, as a thread of tow is broken when it touches the fire; and his strength was not known. Judg. 16:9
And Delilah said to Samson, Behold, thou hast mocked me and told me lies. Now tell me, I pray thee, with what thou mightest be bound. Judg. 16:10
And Delilah took new ropes, and bound him with them, and said to him, The Philistines are upon thee, Samson! Now there were liers in wait abiding in the chamber. And he broke them from off his arms like a thread. Judg. 16:12
Now the house was full of men and women; and all the lords of the Philistines were there; and upon the roof there were about three thousand men and women, who looked on while Samson made sport. Judg. 16:27
And he restored the eleven hundred silver-pieces to his mother; and his mother said, I had dedicated the silver to Jehovah from my hand for my son, to make a graven image and a molten image; and now I will restore it to thee. Judg. 17:3
Now he restored the silver to his mother; and his mother took two hundred silver-pieces and gave them to the founder, and he made of them a graven image and a molten image; and they were in the house of Micah. Judg. 17:4
Then said Micah, Now I know that Jehovah will do me good, because I have the Levite for priest. Judg. 17:13
Then the five men that had gone to spy out the country of Laish spoke and said to their brethren, Do ye know that there is in these houses an ephod, and teraphim, and a graven image, and a molten image? And now ye know what to do. Judg. 18:14
And the man rose up to depart, he, and his concubine, and his servant; and his father-in-law, the damsel's father, said to him, Behold now, the day draws toward evening -- I pray you stay all night; behold, the day is declining, lodge here, and let thy heart be merry; and to-morrow get you early on your way, that thou mayest go to thy tent. Now Jehovah had apprised Samuel one day before Saul came, saying, 1 Sam. 9:15
As they were going down to the end of the city, Samuel said to Saul, Tell the servant to pass on before us (and he passed on), but stand thou still now, that I may cause thee to hear the word of God. 1 Sam. 9:27
but *ye* have this day rejected your God, who himself saved you out of all your adversities and your troubles, and have said unto him, Nay, but a king shalt thou set over us. Now therefore present yourselves before Jehovah by your tribes, and by your thousands. 1 Sam. 10:19
And now behold, the king walks before you; and I am old and grey-headed; and behold, my sons are with you; and I have walked before you from my youth up to this day. 1 Sam. 12:2
And now stand still, that I may plead with you before Jehovah of all the righteous acts of Jehovah which he did to you and to your fathers. 1 Sam. 12:7
And they cried to Jehovah and said, We have sinned, because we have forsaken Jehovah, and have served the Baals and the Ashtoreths; and now deliver us out of the hand of our enemies, and we will serve thee. 1 Sam. 12:10
And now behold, the king whom ye have chosen, whom ye have asked for! and behold, Jehovah has set a king over you. 1 Sam. 12:13
Now therefore stand and see this great thing which Jehovah will do before your eyes. 1 Sam. 12:16
I said, The Philistines will come down now upon me to Gilgal, and I have not made supplication to Jehovah; and I forced myself, and offered up the burnt-offering. 1 Sam. 13:12
And Samuel said to Saul, Thou hast done foolishly: thou hast not kept the commandment of Jehovah thy God which he commanded thee; for now would Jehovah have established thy kingdom over Israel for ever. 1 Sam. 13:13
But now thy kingdom shall not continue: Jehovah has sought him a man after his own heart, and Jehovah has appointed him ruler over his people; for thou hast not kept what Jehovah commanded thee. 1 Sam. 13:14
Now there was no smith found throughout the land of Israel; for the Philistines said, Lest the Hebrews make them swords or spears. 1 Sam. 13:19
Now it came to pass one day that Jonathan the son of Saul said to the young man that bore his armour, Come and let us go over to the Philistines' garrison which is on the other side. But he did not tell his father. 1 Sam. 14:1
Now between the passes by which Jonathan sought to go over to the Philistines' garrison there was a sharp rock on the one side and a sharp rock on the other side; and the name of the one was Bozez, and the name of the other Seneh. 1 Sam. 14:4
Then said Saul to the people that were with him, Muster now, and see who is gone from us. And they mustered, and behold, Jonathan and his armour-bearer were not there. 1 Sam. 14:17
But the men of Israel were distressed that day. Now Saul had adjured the people, saying, Cursed be the man that eateth food until evening, and until I am avenged on mine enemies. So none of the people tasted food. 1 Sam. 14:24
How much more, if the people had eaten freely to-day of the spoil of their enemies which they found? for would there not now have been a much greater slaughter among the Philistines? 1 Sam. 14:30
And they told Saul, saying, Behold, the people sin against Jehovah, in that they eat with the blood. And he said, Ye have acted perversely: roll me now a great stone. 1 Sam. 14:33
And Samuel said to Saul, Jehovah sent *me* to anoint thee king over his people, over Israel: now therefore hearken to the voice of the words of Jehovah. 1 Sam. 15:1
Now go and smite Amalek, and destroy utterly all that they have, and spare them not, but slay both man and woman, infant and suckling, ox and sheep, camel and ass. 1 Sam. 15:3
And now, I pray thee, forgive my sin, and turn again with me, that I may worship Jehovah. 1 Sam. 15:25
And he said, I have sinned; honour me now, I pray thee, before the elders of my people, and before Israel, and turn again with me, that I may worship Jehovah thy God. 1 Sam. 15:30
And Saul's servants said to him, Behold now, an evil spirit from God troubles thee. 1 Sam. 16:15
Let our lord now speak; thy servants are before thee: they shall seek out a man, a skilful player on a harp; and it shall come to pass, when the evil spirit from God is upon thee, that he shall play with his hand, and thou shalt be well. 1 Sam. 16:16
And Saul said to his servants, Provide me now a man that can play well, and bring him to me. 1 Sam. 16:17
Now David was the son of that Ephrathite of Bethlehem-Judah whose name was Jesse; and he had eight sons; and the man was old in the days of Saul, advanced in years among men. 1 Sam. 17:12
Now Saul, and they, and all the men of Israel were in the valley of terebinths, fighting against the Philistines. 1 Sam. 17:19
And David said, What have I now done? Was it not laid upon me? 1 Sam. 17:29
And Saul commanded his servants, Speak with David secretly, saying, Behold, the king has delight in thee, and all his servants love thee: now therefore be the king's son-in-law. 1 Sam. 18:22
But Jonathan Saul's son delighted much in David. And Jonathan told David, saying, Saul my father seeks to kill thee; and now, I pray thee, take heed to thyself in the morning, and abide in a secret place and hide thyself; 1 Sam. 19:2
and said, Let me go, I pray thee; for we have a family sacrifice in the city; and my brother himself has commanded me to be there; and now, if I have found favour in thy sight, let me go away, I pray thee, and see my brethren. He has therefore not come to the king's table. 1 Sam. 20:29
For as long as the son of Jesse lives upon earth, thou shalt not be established, nor thy kingdom. And now send and fetch him to me, for he must die. 1 Sam. 20:31
And he said to his lad, Run, find now the arrows which I shoot. The lad ran, and he shot the arrow beyond him. 1 Sam. 20:36
And now what is under thy hand? give me five loaves in my hand, or what may be found. 1 Sam. 21:3

And Saul heard that David was discovered, and the men that were with him. Now Saul was sitting in Gibeah under the tamarisk upon the height, having his spear in his hand, and all his servants were standing by him. 1 Sam. 22:6
Then Saul said to his servants that stood by him, Hear now, ye Benjaminites: will the son of Jesse give every one of you also fields and vineyards? Will he make you all captains of thousands and captains of hundreds, 1 Sam. 22:7
And Saul said, Hear now, son of Ahitub. And he answered, Here I am, my lord. 1 Sam. 22:12
And now, O king, come down according to all the desire of thy soul to come down; and it will be for us to deliver him up into the king's hand. 1 Sam. 23:20
And now behold, I know that thou shalt certainly be king, and that the kingdom of Israel shall be established in thy hand. 1 Sam. 24:20
Swear now therefore to me by Jehovah, that thou wilt not cut off my seed after me, and that thou wilt not destroy my name out of my father's house. 1 Sam. 24:21
And now I have heard that thou hast shearers; now thy shepherds who were with us, we hurt them not, neither was there aught missed by them, all the while they were in Carmel. 1 Sam. 25:7
And now know and consider what thou wilt do, for evil is determined against our master, and against all his household; and he is such a son of Belial, that one cannot speak to him. 1 Sam. 25:17
Now David had said, Surely, in vain have I kept all that this man had in the wilderness, so that nothing was missed of all that was his; and he has requited me evil for good. 1 Sam. 25:21
And now, my lord, as Jehovah liveth, and as thy soul liveth, seeing Jehovah has restrained thee from coming with bloodshed, and from avenging thyself with thine own hand, now let thine enemies, and they that seek evil to my lord, be as Nabal. 1 Sam. 25:26
And now this blessing which thy bondmaid has brought to my lord, let it be given to the young men that follow my lord. 1 Sam. 25:27
And Abishai said to David, God has delivered thine enemy into thy hand this day; and now let me smite him, I pray thee, with the spear, even to the ground once, and I will not do it the second time. 1 Sam. 26:8
Jehovah forbid that I should stretch forth my hand against Jehovah's anointed! But now take, I pray thee, the spear that is at his head, and the cruse of water, and let us go. 1 Sam. 26:11
This thing is not good which thou hast done. As Jehovah liveth, ye are worthy to die, because ye have not guarded your master, Jehovah's anointed. And now see where the king's spear is, and the cruse of water that was at his head. 1 Sam. 26:16
And now, I pray thee, let my lord the king hear the words of his servant. If Jehovah have moved thee against me, let him accept an oblation; but if the sons of men, cursed be they before Jehovah; for they have driven me out this day from adhering to the inheritance of Jehovah, saying, Go, serve other gods. 1 Sam. 26:19
And now, let not my blood fall to the earth far from the face of Jehovah; for the king of Israel is come out to seek a single flea, as when they hunt a partridge on the mountains. 1 Sam. 26:20
And David said in his heart, I shall now perish one day by the hand of Saul: there is nothing better for me than that I should speedily escape into the land of the Philistines; and Saul will despair of me to seek me any more within all the limits of Israel, and I shall escape out of his hand. 1 Sam. 27:1
And David said to Achish, If now I have found favour in thine eyes, let them give me a place in some country-town, that I may abide there; for why should thy servant abide in the royal city with thee? 1 Sam. 27:5
(Now Samuel was dead, and all Israel had lamented him, and they had buried him in Ramah, even in his own city. And Saul had put away the necromancers and the soothsayers out of the land.) 1 Sam. 28:3
And now, I pray thee, hearken thou also to the voice of thy bondmaid, and let me set a morsel of bread before thee; and eat, that thou mayest have strength when thou goest on thy way. 1 Sam. 28:22

that the king said to Nathan the prophet, See now, I dwell in a house of cedars, and the ark of God dwells under curtains. 2 Sam. 7:2
And now, thus shalt thou say unto my servant David, Thus saith Jehovah of hosts: I took thee from the pasture-grounds, from following the sheep, to be prince over my people, over Israel; 2 Sam. 7:8
And now, Jehovah Elohim, the word that thou hast spoken concerning thy servant and concerning his house, fulfil it for ever, and do as thou hast said. 2 Sam. 7:25
And now, Lord Jehovah, thou art that God, and thy words are true, and thou hast promised this goodness unto thy servant; 2 Sam. 7:28
and now let it please thee to bless the house of thy servant, that it may be before thee for ever; for thou, Lord Jehovah, hast spoken it; and with thy blessing shall the house of thy servant be blessed for ever. 2 Sam. 7:29
And thou, and thy sons, and thy servants, shall till the land for him, and thou shalt bring in the fruits, that thy master's son may have food to eat. And Mephibosheth thy master's son shall eat bread at my table continually. Now Ziba had fifteen sons and twenty servants. 2 Sam. 9:10
Now therefore the sword shall never depart from thy house; because thou hast despised me, and hast taken the wife of Urijah the Hittite to be thy wife. 2 Sam. 12:10

And Absalom her brother said to her, Has Amnon thy brother been with thee? and now, my sister, be still: he is thy brother; take not this thing to heart. And Tamar remained, and that desolate, in her brother Absalom's house. 2 Sam. 13:20
And Absalom came to the king, and said, Behold, now, thy servant has sheepshearers; let the king, I pray thee, and his servants go with thy servant. 2 Sam. 13:24
And Absalom commanded his servants, saying, Mark ye now when Amnon's heart is merry with wine, and when I say to you, Smite Amnon; then slay him, fear not: have not I commanded you? be courageous, and be valiant. 2 Sam. 13:28
And now let not my lord the king take the thing to heart, to say, All the king's sons are dead; for Amnon only is dead. 2 Sam. 13:33
Now Absalom fled, and went to Geshur, and was there three years. 2 Sam. 13:38
And now that I am come to speak of this thing to my lord the king, it is because the people have made me afraid; and thy bondmaid said, I will now speak to the king; perhaps the king will perform the request of his handmaid. 2 Sam. 14:15
And thy bondmaid said, Let the word of my lord the king now be comfortable; for as an angel of God, so is my lord the king to discern good and bad; and Jehovah thy God will be with thee. 2 Sam. 14:17
And the king answered and said to the woman, Hide not from me, I pray thee, the thing that I shall ask thee. And the woman said, Let my lord the king now speak. 2 Sam. 14:18
And the king said to Joab, Behold now, I have done this thing: so go, bring back the young man Absalom. 2 Sam. 14:21
And Absalom said to Joab, Behold, I sent to thee, saying, Come hither, that I may send thee to the king, to say, Why am I come from Geshur? it would have been better for me to be there still. And now let me see the king's face; and if there be iniquity in me, let him slay me. 2 Sam. 14:32
but if thou return to the city, and say to Absalom, I will be thy servant, O king; as I have been thy father's servant hitherto, so now will I be thy servant; then mayest thou for me defeat the counsel of Ahithophel. 2 Sam. 15:34
And David said to Abishai, and to all his servants, Behold, my son, who came forth of my bowels, seeks my life: how much more now a Benjaminite? let him alone and let him curse; for Jehovah has bidden him. 2 Sam. 16:11
Now Absalom, and all the people, the men of Israel, came to Jerusalem, and Ahithophel with him. 2 Sam. 16:15
And Absalom said, Call now Hushai the Archite also, and we will hear also what he says. 2 Sam. 17:5
Behold, he is hid now in some pit, or some such place; and it will come to pass, when some of them fall at the first, whoever heareth it will say, There has been slaughter among the people that follow Absalom, 2 Sam. 17:9

Choose thee, either three years of famine, or three months to be destroyed before thine adversaries while that the sword of thine enemies overtaketh thee, or three days the sword of Jehovah and the pestilence in the land, and the angel of Jehovah destroying through all the borders of Israel. Now set your heart and your soul to seek Jehovah your God; and arise and build the sanctuary of Jehovah Elohim, to bring the ark of the covenant of Jehovah, and the vessels of the sanctuary of God into the house that is to be built unto the name of Jehovah. 1 Chr. 22:19
And now in the sight of all Israel, the congregation of Jehovah, and in the audience of our God, -- keep and seek for all the commandments of Jehovah your God; that ye may possess the good land, and leave it as an inheritance to your children after you for ever. 1 Chr. 28:8
Consider now, that Jehovah has chosen thee to build a house for the sanctuary: be strong, and do it. 1 Chr. 28:10

Now the prophets, Haggai the prophet and Zechariah the son of Iddo, prophesied to the Jews that were in Judah and Jerusalem; in the name of the God of Israel did they prophesy to them. Ezra 5:1
Then came the same Sheshbazzar, and laid the foundation of the house of God which is at Jerusalem; and since that time even until now has it been in building, and it is not completed. Ezra 5:16
And now, if it seem good to the king, let search be made in the king's treasure-house, which is there at Babylon, whether it be so, that orders were given by king Cyrus to build this house of God at Jerusalem; and let the king send his pleasure to us concerning this matter. Ezra 5:17
Now when these things were completed, the princes came to me, saying, The people of Israel, and the priests and the Levites, have not separated themselves from the peoples of the lands, according to their abominations, even of the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Perizzites, the Jebusites, the Ammonites, the Moabites, the Egyptians, and the Amorites; Ezra 9:1
And now for a little space there hath been favour from Jehovah our God, to leave us a remnant to escape, and to give us a nail in his holy place, that our God may lighten our eyes, and give us a little reviving in our bondage. Ezra 9:8
And now, what shall we say, our God, after this? for we have forsaken thy commandments, Ezra 9:10
Now therefore give not your daughters to their sons, neither take their daughters to your sons, nor seek their peace or their prosperity for ever; that ye may be strong, and eat the good of the land, and leave it for an inheritance to your children for ever. Ezra 9:12
And Shechaniah the son of Jehiel, of the sons of Elam, answered and said to Ezra, We have acted unfaithfully toward our God, and have taken foreign wives of the peoples of the land; yet now there is hope for Israel concerning this thing. Ezra 10:2
And now let us make a covenant with our God to put away all the wives, and such as are born of them, according to the counsel of my lord, and of those that tremble at the commandments of our God; and let it be done according to the law. Ezra 10:3
And now make confession to Jehovah the God of your fathers, and do his pleasure, and separate yourselves from the peoples of the land, and from the foreign wives. Ezra 10:11
Let now our princes, while this matter is going on, stand for all the congregation, and let all those that have taken foreign wives in our cities come at the appointed times, and with them the elders of every city, and the judges thereof, until the fierce anger of our God be turned from us. Ezra 10:14
Let thine ear now be attentive, and thine eyes open, to hear the prayer of thy servant, which I pray before thee at this time, day and night, for the children of Israel thy servants, confessing the sins of the children of Israel, which we have sinned against thee: both I and my father's house have sinned. Neh. 1:6
O Lord, I beseech thee, let now thine ear be attentive to the prayer of thy servant, and to the prayer of thy servants who delight to fear thy name; and prosper, I pray thee, thy servant this day, and grant him mercy in the sight of this man. Now I was the king's cupbearer. Neh. 1:11
And it came to pass in the month Nisan, in the twentieth year of Artaxerxes the king, that wine was before him, and I took up the wine and gave it to the king. Now, I had never been sad in his presence. Neh. 2:1
And I came to the governors beyond the river, and gave them the king's letters. Now the king had sent captains of a force and horsemen with me. Neh. 2:9

yet now our flesh is as the flesh of our brethren, our children as their children; and behold, we must bring into bondage our sons and our daughters to be servants, and some of our daughters are brought into bondage already; neither is it in the power of our hand to redeem them, for other men have our fields and our vineyards. And thou hast also appointed prophets to proclaim concerning thee at Jerusalem saying, There is a king in Judah! And now it will be reported to the king according to these words. Come now therefore, and let us take counsel together. Neh. 6:7
For they all would have made us afraid, saying, Their hands shall be slackened from the work, that it be not carried out. -- Now therefore strengthen my hands! Neh. 6:9
Now the city was large and great; but the people in it were few, and no houses were built. Neh. 7:4
And now, our God, the great, the mighty, and the terrible *God, who keepest covenant and loving-kindness, let not all the trouble seem little before thee, that hath come upon us, on our kings, on our princes, and on our priests, and on our prophets, and on our fathers, and on all thy people, since the days of the kings of Assyria unto this day. And the king said, Who is in the court? Now Haman had come into the outward court of the king's house, to speak to the king to hang Mordecai on the gallows that he had prepared for him. Esther 6:4

A wind more vehement than that shall come from me: now will I also pronounce judgments against them. Jer. 4:12
Run ye to and fro through the streets of Jerusalem, and see now, and know, and seek in the broadways thereof, if ye can find a man, if there be any that doeth justice, that seeketh fidelity; and I will pardon it. Jer. 5:1
Hear now this, O foolish and heartless people, who have eyes and see not; who have ears, and hear not. Jer. 5:21
And they say not in their heart, Let us now fear Jehovah our God, that giveth rain, both the early and the latter, in its season; who preserveth unto us the appointed weeks of harvest. Jer. 5:24
For go now unto my place which was in Shiloh, where I caused my name to dwell at the first, and see what I did to it, for the wickedness of my people Israel. Jer. 7:12
And now, because ye have done all these works, saith Jehovah, and I spoke unto you, rising up early and speaking, and ye heard not, and I called you, and ye answered not; Jer. 7:13
Thus saith Jehovah to this people: Even so have they loved to wander, they have not refrained their feet; and Jehovah hath no delight in them: now will he remember their iniquity, and visit their sins. Jer. 14:10
And now, speak to the men of Judah and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, saying, Thus saith Jehovah: Behold, I prepare evil against you, and devise a device against you: turn ye then every one from his evil way, and amend your ways and your doings. Jer. 18:11
Therefore thus saith Jehovah: Ask ye now among the nations, Who hath heard such things? The virgin of Israel hath done a very horrible thing. Jer. 18:13
when they said, Turn again now every one from his evil way, and from the wickedness of your doings, and dwell in the land that Jehovah hath given unto you and to your fathers from of old even for ever. Jer. 25:5
And now, amend your ways and your doings, and hearken to the voice of Jehovah your God; and Jehovah will repent him of the evil that he hath pronounced against you. Jer. 26:13
And now have I given all these lands into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, my servant; and the beasts of the field also have I given him to serve him. Jer. 27:6
And I spoke to the priests and to all this people, saying, Thus saith Jehovah: Hearken not to the words of your prophets that prophesy unto you, saying, Behold, the vessels of Jehovah's house shall now shortly be brought again from Babylon; for they prophesy falsehood unto you. Jer. 27:16
But if they be prophets, and if the word of Jehovah be with them, let them now make intercession to Jehovah of hosts, that the vessels which are left in the house of Jehovah, and in the house of the king of Judah, and at Jerusalem, go not to Babylon. Jer. 27:18
And the prophet Jeremiah said unto the prophet Hananiah, Hear now, Hananiah: Jehovah hath not sent thee; and thou makest this people to trust in falsehood. Jer. 28:15
And now, why hast thou not reproved Jeremiah of Anathoth, who maketh himself a prophet to you? Jer. 29:27
Ask ye now, and see, whether a male doth travail with child? Wherefore do I see every man with his hands on his loins, as a woman in travail; and all faces are turned into paleness? Jer. 30:6
And now therefore Jehovah, the God of Israel, saith thus concerning this city, whereof ye say, It hath been given over into the hand of the king of Babylon by the sword, and by the famine, and by the pestilence: Jer. 32:36
And I have sent unto you all my servants the prophets, rising early and sending, saying, Return ye now every man from his evil way, and amend your doings, and go not after other gods to serve them; and ye shall dwell in the land that I have given to you and to your fathers: but ye have not inclined your ear nor hearkened unto me. Jer. 35:15
And they said unto him, Sit down now, and read it in our ears. And Baruch read it in their ears. Jer. 36:15
And they asked Baruch, saying, Tell us now, How didst thou write all these words from his mouth? Jer. 36:17
Now the king was sitting in the winter-house in the ninth month, and with the fire-pan burning before him. Jer. 36:22
And Zedekiah the king sent Jehucal the son of Shelemiah, and Zephaniah the son of Maaseiah the priest to the prophet Jeremiah, saying, Pray now unto Jehovah our God for us. Jer. 37:3
And now hear, I pray thee, my lord, O king: let my supplication, I pray thee, come before thee; and cause me not to return into the house of Jonathan the scribe, lest I die there. Jer. 37:20
And Ebed-melech the Ethiopian, a eunuch who was in the king's house, heard that they had put Jeremiah in the dungeon -- now the king was sitting in the gate of Benjamin, Jer. 38:7
And if the princes hear that I have talked with thee, and they come unto thee, and say unto thee, Declare unto us now what thou hast said unto the king, hide it not from us, and we will not put thee to death; and what hath the king said unto thee? Jer. 38:25
And now, behold, I loose thee this day from the chains that are upon thy hand. If it seem good in thy sight to come with me to Babylon, come, and I will keep mine eye upon thee; but if it seem ill unto thee to come with me to Babylon, forbear. See, all the land is before thee: whither it seemeth good and right in thy sight to go, thither go. Jer. 40:4
-- and now, therefore, hear the word of Jehovah, ye remnant of Judah: thus saith Jehovah of hosts, the God of Israel: If ye really set your faces to enter into Egypt, and go to sojourn there, Jer. 42:15
And now know certainly that ye shall die by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence, in the place whither ye desire to go to sojourn. Jer. 42:22
And now thus saith Jehovah the God of hosts, the God of Israel: Wherefore commit ye great evil against your souls, to cut off from you man and woman, infant and suckling, out of the midst of Judah, to leave you no remnant; Jer. 44:7
The word that Jeremiah the prophet commanded Seraiah the son of Nerijah, the son of Mahseiah, when he went with Zedekiah the king of Judah to Babylon in the fourth year of his reign. Now Seraiah was chief chamberlain. Jer. 51:59
And the city was broken into: and all the men of war fled, and went forth out of the city by night, by the way of the gate between the two walls, which was by the king's garden (now the Chaldeans were near the city round about); and they went the way toward the plain. Jer. 52:7
* Now it came to pass in the thirtieth year, in the fourth month, on the fifth of the month, as I was among the captives by the river Chebar, the heavens were opened, and I saw visions of God. Ezek. 1:1
Then said I, Ah, Lord Jehovah! behold, my soul hath not been defiled, and from my youth up even until now have I not eaten of that which dieth of itself, or of that which is torn; neither came there abominable flesh into my mouth. Ezek. 4:14
Now is the end upon thee; and I will send mine anger upon thee, and will judge thee according to thy ways, and will bring upon thee all thine abominations. Ezek. 7:3

And he said unto me, Son of man, lift up now thine eyes toward the north. And I lifted up mine eyes toward the north, and behold, northward of the gate of the altar, this image of jealousy in the entry. Ezek. 8:5
And he said unto me, Son of man, dig now through the wall; and I digged through the wall, and behold, a door. Ezek. 8:8
Say now to the rebellious house, Know ye not what these things are? Say, Behold, the king of Babylon came to Jerusalem, and took its king and its princes, and led them with him to Babylon. Ezek. 17:12
And now it is planted in the wilderness, in a dry and thirsty ground: Ezek. 19:13
And I said of her that was old in adulteries, Will she now commit her fornications, even she. Ezek. 23:43
Son of man, because Tyre hath said against Jerusalem, Aha, she is broken, the gate of the peoples! she is turned unto me: I shall be replenished now she is laid waste; Ezek. 26:2
Now shall the isles tremble in the day of thy fall; and the isles that are in the sea shall be troubled at thy departure. Ezek. 26:18
Now the hand of Jehovah had been upon me in the evening, before he that had escaped came; and he had opened my mouth against his coming to me in the morning; and my mouth was opened, and I was no more dumb. Ezek. 33:22
to seize a spoil, and to take a prey; to turn thy hand against the waste places that are now inhabited, and against a people gathered out of the nations, which have gotten cattle and goods, that dwell in the middle of the land. Ezek. 38:12
Therefore, thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Now will I bring again the captivity of Jacob, and have mercy upon the whole house of Israel, and will be jealous for my holy name: Ezek. 39:25
Now let them put away their fornication, and the carcases of their kings, far from me, and I will dwell in the midst of them for ever. Ezek. 43:9
Now among these were of the children of Judah, Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah. Dan. 1:6
Now if ye be ready at the time that ye hear the sound of the cornet, pipe, lute, sambuca, psaltery, and bagpipe, and all kinds of music, to fall down and worship the image that I have made, well: but if ye worship not, ye shall be cast that same hour into the midst of a burning fiery furnace: and who is the God that shall deliver you out of my hands? Dan. 3:15
Now I Nebuchadnezzar praise and extol and honour the King of the heavens, all whose works are truth, and his paths judgment: and those that walk in pride he is able to abase. Dan. 4:37
forasmuch as an excellent spirit, and knowledge, and understanding, interpreting of dreams, and shewing of hard sentences, and solving of problems, were found in the same Daniel, whom the king named Belteshazzar. Now let Daniel be called, and he will shew the interpretation. Dan. 5:12
And now the wise men, the magicians, have been brought in before me, that they should read this writing, and make known unto me the interpretation thereof; but they could not shew the interpretation of the thing. Dan. 5:15
But I have heard of thee, that thou canst give interpretations, and solve problems. Now if thou canst read the writing, and make known to me the interpretation thereof, thou shalt be clothed with purple, and have a chain of gold about thy neck, and shalt be the third ruler in the kingdom. Dan. 5:16
Now this Daniel surpassed the presidents and the satraps, because an excellent spirit was in him; and the king thought to appoint him over the whole realm. Dan. 6:3
Now, O king, establish the decree, and sign the writing, that it be not changed, according to the law of the Medes and Persians, which may not be revoked. Dan. 6:8
Now, as he was speaking with me, I was in a deep stupor, with my face toward the ground. And he touched me, and set me up where I had stood. Dan. 8:18
Now that being broken, whereas four stood up in its stead, four kingdoms shall stand up out of the nation, but not with his power. Dan. 8:22

And he said, Knowest thou wherefore I am come unto thee? And now I return to fight with the prince of Persia; and when I go forth, behold, the prince of Greece shall come. Dan. 10:20
And now will I declare unto thee the truth. Behold, there shall stand up yet three kings in Persia; and the fourth shall enrich himself with great riches more than all; and when he hath become strong through his riches, he shall stir up all against the realm of Greece. Dan. 11:2
And she shall pursue after her lovers, and shall not overtake them; and she shall seek them, and shall not find them: and she shall say, I will go and return to my first husband, for then was it better with me than now. Hos. 2:7

For Israel is refractory as an untractable heifer; now will Jehovah feed them as a lamb in a wide pasture. Hos. 4:16

They have dealt treacherously against Jehovah; for they have begotten strange children: now shall the new moon devour them, with their allotted possessions. Hos. 5:7
And they say not in their hearts that I remember all their wickedness: now do their own doings encompass them; they are before my face. Hos. 7:2
Israel is swallowed up: now are they become among the nations as a vessel wherein is no pleasure. Hos. 8:8
Although they hire among the nations, now will I gather them, and they shall begin to be straitened under the burden of the king of princes. Hos. 8:10
They sacrifice flesh for the sacrifices of mine offerings, and eat it; Jehovah hath no delight in them. Now will he remember their iniquity, and visit their sins: they shall return to Egypt. Hos. 8:13
Their heart is divided; now shall they be found guilty: he will break down their altars, he will destroy their statues. Hos. 10:2
For now they will say, We have no king, for we feared not Jehovah; and a king, what can he do for us? Hos. 10:3
And now they sin more and more, and have made them molten images of their silver, idols according to their own understanding, all of it the work of the craftsmen: they say of them, Let the men that sacrifice kiss the calves. Hos. 13:2
Yet even now, saith Jehovah, turn to me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning; Joel 2:12
Therefore shall they now go captive, with the first that go captive, and the revelry of them that stretched themselves shall pass away. Amos 6:7
And now hear thou the word of Jehovah: Thou sayest, Prophesy not against Israel, and utter not words against the house of Isaac. Amos 7:16

Now why dost thou cry out aloud? Is there no king in thee? is thy counsellor perished, that pangs have seized thee as a woman in travail? Mic. 4:9
Be in pain, and labour to bring forth, O daughter of Zion, like a woman in travail; for now shalt thou go forth out of the city, and thou shalt dwell in the field, and thou shalt go even to Babylon: there shalt thou be delivered; there Jehovah will redeem thee from the hand of thine enemies. And now many nations are assembled against thee, that say, Let her be profaned, and let our eye look upon Zion. Mic. 4:11
Now gather thyself in troops, O daughter of troops; he hath laid siege against us: they shall smite the judge of Israel with a rod upon the cheek. Mic. 5:1
And he shall stand and feed his flock in the strength of Jehovah, in the majesty of the name of Jehovah his God. And they shall abide; for now shall he be great even unto the ends of the earth. Mic. 5:4
Hear ye now what Jehovah saith: Arise, contend before the mountains, and let the hills hear thy voice. Mic. 6:1
My people, remember now what Balak king of Moab consulted, and what Balaam the son of Beor answered him, from Shittim unto Gilgal, that ye may know the righteousness of Jehovah. Mic. 6:5
The best of them is as a briar; the most upright, worse than a thorn-fence. The day of thy watchmen, thy visitation is come; now shall be their perplexity. Mic. 7:4
And mine enemy shall see it, and shame shall cover her which said unto me, Where is Jehovah thy God? Mine eyes shall behold her; now shall she be trodden down, as the mire of the streets. Mic. 7:10
And now will I break his yoke from off thee, and will burst thy bonds asunder. Nah. 1:13
Where is now the den of the lions, and the feeding-place of the young lions, where the lion, the lioness, and the lion's whelp walked, and none made them afraid? Nah. 2:11

Then he comes to the disciples and says to them, Sleep on now and take your rest; behold, the hour has drawn nigh, and the Son of man is delivered up into the hands of sinners. Mt. 26:45
Now he that delivered him up had given them a sign, saying, Whomsoever I shall kiss, he it is: seize him. Mt. 26:48
Or thinkest thou that I cannot now call upon my Father, and he will furnish me more than twelve legions of angels? Mt. 26:53
Now they that had seized Jesus led him away to Caiaphas the high priest, where the scribes and the elders were assembled. Mt. 26:57
Then the high priest rent his clothes, saying, He has blasphemed: what need have we any more of witnesses? behold, now ye have heard the blasphemy. Mt. 26:65
Now at the feast the governor was accustomed to release one prisoner to the crowd, whom they would. Mt. 27:15
He saved others, himself he cannot save. He is King of Israel: let him descend now from the cross, and we will believe on him. Mt. 27:42
He trusted upon God; let him save him now if he will have him. For he said, I am Son of God. Mt. 27:43
Now from the sixth hour there was darkness over the whole land until the ninth hour; Mt. 27:45
Now when even was come there came a rich man of Arimathaea, his name Joseph, who also himself was a disciple to Jesus. Mt. 27:57
Now on the morrow, which is after the preparation, the chief priests and the Pharisees came together to Pilate, Mt. 27:62
Now late on sabbath, as it was the dusk of the next day after sabbath, came Mary of Magdala and the other Mary to look at the sepulchre. Mt. 28:1
Now there was there just at the mountain a great herd of swine feeding; Mk. 5:11

Now there was the person named Barabbas bound with those who had made insurrection with him, and that had committed murder in the insurrection. Mk. 15:7
Let the Christ the King of Israel descend now from the cross, that we may see and may believe. And they that were crucified with him reproached him. Mk. 15:32
And the sabbath being now past, Mary of Magdala, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome, bought aromatic spices that they might come and embalm him. Mk. 16:1
Now when he had risen very early, the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary of Magdala, out of whom he had cast seven demons. Mk. 16:9
Now after these days, Elizabeth his wife conceived, and hid herself five months, saying, Lk. 1:24

Now Jesus had not yet come into the village, but was in the place where Martha came to meet him. Jn. 11:30
Jesus therefore, again deeply moved in himself, comes to the tomb. Now it was a cave, and a stone lay upon it. Jn. 11:38
Now the chief priests and the Pharisees had given commandment that if any one knew where he was, he should make it known, that they might take him. Jn. 11:57
Now his disciples knew not these things at the first; but when Jesus was glorified, then they remembered that these things were written of him, and that they had done these things to him. Jn. 12:16

When therefore he was gone out Jesus says, Now is the Son of man glorified, and God is glorified in him. Jn. 13:31
Children, yet a little while I am with you. Ye shall seek me; and, as I said to the Jews, Where I go ye cannot come, I say to you also now. Jn. 13:33
Simon Peter says to him, Lord, where goest thou? Jesus answered him, Where I go thou canst not follow me now, but thou shalt follow me after. Jn. 13:36
Peter says to him, Lord, why cannot I follow thee now? I will lay down my life for thee. Jn. 13:37
And now I have told you before it comes to pass, that when it shall have come to pass ye may believe. Jn. 14:29
If I had not come and spoken to them, they had not had sin; but now they have no excuse for their sin. Jn. 15:22

Now we know that thou knowest all things, and hast not need that any one should demand of thee. By this we believe that thou art come from God. Jn. 16:30
Jesus answered them, Do ye now believe? Jn. 16:31
and now glorify *me*, *thou* Father, along with thyself, with the glory which I had along with thee before the world was. Jn. 17:5
Now they have known that all things that thou hast given me are of thee; Jn. 17:7
And now I come to thee. And these things I speak in the world, that they may have my joy fulfilled in them. Jn. 17:13
Now Simon Peter followed Jesus, and the other disciple. But that disciple was known to the high priest, and went in with Jesus into the palace of the high priest; Jn. 18:15
Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world; if my kingdom were of this world, my servants had fought that I might not be delivered up to the Jews; but now my kingdom is not from hence. Jn. 18:36
They cried therefore again all, saying, Not this man, but Barabbas. Now Barabbas was a robber. Jn. 18:40
(now it was the preparation of the passover; it was about the sixth hour;) and he says to the Jews, Behold your king! Jn. 19:14
After this, Jesus, knowing that all things were now finished, that the scripture might be fulfilled, says, I thirst. Jn. 19:28
Jesus says to them, Bring of the fishes which ye have now taken. Jn. 21:10

Now therefore why tempt ye God, by putting a yoke upon the neck of the disciples, which neither our fathers nor we have been able to bear? Acts 15:10
But after certain days Paul said to Barnabas, Let us return now and visit the brethren in every city where we have announced the word of the Lord, and see how they are getting on. Acts 15:36

Little children, it is the last hour, and, according as ye have heard that antichrist comes, even now there have come many antichrists, whence we know that it is the last hour. 1 Jn. 2:18
And now, children, abide in him, that if he be manifested we may have boldness, and not be put to shame from before him at his coming. 1 Jn. 2:28
