- ¤ The burden of Damascus. Behold Damascus shall cease to be a city, and shall be as a ruinous heap of stones. Isa. 17:1
- Son of man, they that dwell in these ruinous places in the land of Israel, speak, saying: Abraham was one, and he inherited the land, but we are many, the land is given us in possession. Ezec. 33:24
