And Abisai said to David: God hath shut up thy enemy this day into thy hands: now then I will run him through with my spear, even to the earth at once, and there shall be no need of a second time. 1 Ki. 26:8

And the king of the Assyrians put a tax upon Ezechias, king of Juda, of three hundred talents of silver, and thirty talents of gold. 4 Ki. 18:14
Then Eliacim, the son of Helcias, and Sobna, and Joahe, said to Rabsaces: We pray thee, speak to us, thy servants, in Syriac: for we understand that tongue: and speak not to us in the Jews' language, in the hearing of the people that are upon the wall. 4 Ki. 18:26
Then Rabsaces stood, and cried out with a loud voice in the Jews' language, and said: Hear the word of the great king, the king of the Assyrians. 4 Ki. 18:28

The sons then of Ruben the firstborn of Israel were Enoch, and Phallu, Esron, and Charmi. 1 Par. 5:3

For then thou shalt be able to prosper, if thou keep the commandments, and judgments, which the Lord commanded Moses to teach Israel: take courage and act manfully, fear not, nor be dismayed. 1 Par. 22:13
In gold, and in silver, and in brass, and in iron, whereof there is no number. Arise then, and be doing, and the Lord will be with thee. 1 Par. 22:16
The sons then of Semeias were Othni, and Raphael, and Obed, Elizabad, and his brethren most valiant men: and Eliu, and Samachias. 1 Par. 26:7
Now then before all the assembly of Israel, in the hearing of our God, keep ye, and seek all the commandments of the Lord our God: that you may possess the good land, and may leave it to your children after you for ever. 1 Par. 28:8

Then Solomon came from the high place of Gabaon to Jerusalem before the tabernacle of the covenant, and reigned over Israel. 2 Par. 1:13
Who then can be able to build him a worthy house? if heaven, and the heavens of heavens cannot contain him: who am I that I should be able to build him a house? but to this end only, that incense may be burnt before him. 2 Par. 2:6
¤ Then Solomon brought in all the things that David his father had vowed, the silver, and the gold, and all the vessels he put among the treasures of the house of God. 2 Par. 5:1

For Solomon had made a brazen scaffold, and had set it in the midst of the temple, which was five cubits long, and five cubits broad, and three cubits high: and he stood upon it: then kneeling down in the presence of all the multitude of Israel, and lifting up his hands towards heaven, 2 Par. 6:13
Now then, O Lord God of Israel, fulfil to thy servant David my father, whatsoever thou hast promised him, saying: There shall not fail thee a man in my sight, to sit upon the throne of Israel: yet so that thy children take heed to their ways, and walk in my law, as thou hast walked before me. 2 Par. 6:16
Is it credible then that God should dwell with men on the earth? If heaven and the heavens of heavens do not contain thee, how much less this house, which I have built? 2 Par. 6:18
And that thou wouldst hear the prayer which thy servant prayeth in it: hearken then to the prayers of thy servant, and of thy people Israel. Whosoever shall pray in this place, hear thou from thy dwelling place, that is, from heaven, and shew mercy. 2 Par. 6:21
Then hear thou from heaven, and do justice to thy servants, so to requite the wicked by making his wickedness fall upon his own head, and to revenge the just, rewarding him according to his justice. 2 Par. 6:23
Then hear thou from heaven, and forgive the sin of thy people Israel and bring them back into the land which thou gavest to them, and their fathers. 2 Par. 6:25
Then hear thou from heaven, O Lord, and forgive the sins of thy servants and of thy people Israel and teach them the good way in which they may walk: and give rain to thy land which thou hast given to thy people to possess. 2 Par. 6:27
Then if any of thy people Israel, knowing his own scourge and infirmity shall pray, and shall spread forth his hands in this house, 2 Par. 6:29

And as day came after day, and time rolled on, two whole years passed: then after being wasted with a long consumption, so as to void his very bowels, his disease ended with his life. And he died of a most wretched illness, and the people did not make a funeral for him according to the manner of burning, as they had done for his ancestors. 2 Par. 21:19
The spirit of God then came upon Zacharias the son of Joiada the priest, and he stood in the sight of the people, and said to them: Thus saith the Lord God: Why transgress you the commandment of the Lord which will not be for your good, and have forsaken the Lord, to make him forsake you? 2 Par. 24:20
And Amasias said to the man of God: What will then become of the hundred talents which I have given to the soldiers of Israel? and the man of God answered him: The Lord is rich enough to be able to give thee much more than this. 2 Par. 25:9
Then Amasias separated the army, that came to him out of Ephraim, to go home again: but they being much enraged against Juda, returned to their own country. 2 Par. 25:10

When we shall slay them all as one man, then thou also shalt die with them by the sword of the Assyrians, and all Israel shall perish with thee: Jud. 6:3
And thou shalt find that Nabuchodonosor is lord of the whole earth: and then the sword of my soldiers shall pass through thy sides, and thou shalt be stabbed and fall among the wounded of Israel, and thou shalt breathe no more till thou be destroyed with them. Jud. 6:4
Then Holofernes commanded his servants to take Achior, and to lead him to Bethulia, and to deliver him into the hands of the children of Israel. Jud. 6:7
Then turning out of the way by the side of the mountain, they tied Achior to a tree hand and foot, and so left him bound with ropes, and returned to their master. Jud. 6:9
And how Holofernes himself being angry had commanded him to be delivered for this cause to the Israelites: that when he should overcome the children of Israel, then he might command Achior also himself to be put to death by diverse torments, for having said: The God of heaven is their defender. Jud. 6:13
Then Ozias, after the assembly was broken up, received him into his house, and made him a great supper. Jud. 6:19
Then all the men and women, young men, and children, gathering themselves together to Ozias, all together with one voice, Jud. 7:12
¤ Then Holofernes said to her: Be of good comfort, and fear not in thy heart: for I have never hurt a man that was willing to serve Nabuchodonosor the king. Jud. 11:1

Then she brought forth the head of Holofernes out of the wallet, and shewed it them, saying: Behold the head of Holofernes the general of the army of the Assyrians, and behold his canopy, wherein he lay in his drunkenness, where the Lord our God slew him by the hand of a woman. Jud. 13:19
Then Achior seeing the head of Holofernes, being seized with a great fear he fell on his face upon the earth, and his soul swooned away. Jud. 13:29

Then by the king's command, Daniel was clothed with purple, and a chain of gold was put about his neck: and it was proclaimed of him that he had power as the third man in the kingdom. Dan. 5:29
Then these men said: We shall not find any occasion against this Daniel, unless perhaps concerning the law of his God. Dan. 6:5
Then the princes, and the governors, craftily suggested to the king, and spoke thus unto him: King Darius, live for ever: Dan. 6:6
Then they answered, and said before the king: Daniel, who is of the children of the captivity of Juda, hath not regarded thy law, nor the decree that thou hast made: but three times a day he maketh his prayer. Dan. 6:13
Then the king commanded, and they brought Daniel, and cast him into the den of the lions. And the king said to Daniel: Thy God, whom thou always servest, he will deliver thee. Dan. 6:16

Then he said: And I am mighty upon the earth, and I command to take arms, and to do the king's business. Nevertheless he prevailed not to accomplish his design. 2 Ma. 15:5

Then the devil left him; and behold angels came and ministered to him. Mt. 4:11
Leave there thy offering before the altar, and go first to be reconciled to thy brother, and then coming thou shalt offer thy gift. Mt. 5:24
But if thy eye be evil thy whole body shall be darksome. If then the light that is in thee, be darkness: the darkness itself how great shall it be! Mt. 6:23
Thou hypocrite, cast out first the beam out of thy own eye, and then shalt thou see to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye. Mt. 7:5
If you then being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children: how much more will your Father who is in heaven, give good things to them that ask him? Mt. 7:11

But that you may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (then said he to the man sick of the palsy,) Arise, take up thy bed, and go into thy house. Mt. 9:6
Go then and learn what this meaneth, I will have mercy and not sacrifice. For I am not come to call the just, but sinners. Mt. 9:13
Then came to him the disciples of John, saying: Why do we and the Pharisees, fast often, but thy disciples do not fast? Mt. 9:14
And Jesus said to them: Can the children of the bridegroom mourn, as long as the bridegroom is with them? But the days will come, when the bridegroom shall be taken away from them, and then they shall fast. Mt. 9:15
Then he touched their eyes, saying, According to your faith, be it done unto you. Mt. 9:29
Then he saith to his disciples, The harvest indeed is great, but the labourers are few. Mt. 9:37
Then began he to upbraid the cities wherein were done the most of his miracles, for that they had not done penance. Mt. 11:20

But if I by the Spirit of God cast out devils, then is the kingdom of God come upon you. Mt. 12:28
Or how can any one enter into the house of the strong, and rifle his goods, unless he first bind the strong? and then he will rifle his house. Mt. 12:29
Then some of the scribes and Pharisees answered him, saying: Master, we would see a sign from thee. Mt. 12:38
Then he saith: I will return into my house from whence I came out. And coming he findeth it empty, swept, and garnished. Mt. 12:44
Then he goeth, and taketh with him seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is made worse than the first. So shall it be also to this wicked generation. Mt. 12:45
And when the blade was sprung up, and had brought forth fruit, then appeared also the cockle. Mt. 13:26
And the servants of the good man of the house coming said to him. Sir, didst thou not sow good seed in thy field? Whence then hath it cockle? Mt. 13:27
Then having sent away the multitudes, he came into the house, and his disciples came to him, saying: Expound to us the parable of the cockle of the field. Mt. 13:36
Then shall the just shine as the sun, in the kingdom of their Father. He that hath ears to hear, let him hear. Mt. 13:43

Then they understood that he said not that they should beware of the leaven of bread, but of the doctrine of the Pharisees and Sadducees. Mt. 16:12

Then the disciples understood, that he had spoken to them of John the Baptist. Mt. 17:13
Then Jesus answered and said: O unbelieving and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I suffer you? Bring him hither to me. Mt. 17:17
Then came the disciples to Jesus secretly, and said: Why could not we cast him out? Mt. 17:19
And he said: Of strangers. Jesus said to him: Then the children are free. Mt. 17:26
Then came Peter unto him and said: Lord, how often shall my brother offend against me, and I forgive him? till seven times? Mt. 18:21
Then his lord called him: and said to him: Thou wicked servant, I forgave thee all the debt, because thou besoughtest me: Mt. 18:32
Shouldst not thou then have had compassion also on thy fellow servant, even as I had compassion on thee? Mt. 18:33
They say to him: Why then did Moses command to give a bill of divorce, and to put away? Mt. 19:7
Then were little children presented to him, that he should impose hands upon them and pray. And the disciples rebuked them. Mt. 19:13
Then Jesus said to his disciples: Amen, I say to you, that a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven. Mt. 19:23
And when they had heard this, the disciples wondered very much, saying: Who then can be saved? Mt. 19:25
Then Peter answering, said to him: Behold we have left all things, and have followed thee: what therefore shall we have? Mt. 19:27
Then came to him the mother of the sons of Zebedee with her sons, adoring and asking something of him. Mt. 20:20

The baptism of John, whence was it? From heaven or from men? But they thought within themselves, saying: If we shall say, from heaven, he will say to us: Why then did you not believe him? Mt. 21:25
Then he saith to his servants: The marriage indeed is ready; but they that were invited were not worthy. Mt. 22:8
Then the king said to the waiters: Bind his hands and feet, and cast him into the exterior darkness. There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Mt. 22:13
Then the Pharisees going, consulted among themselves how to insnare him in his speech. Mt. 22:15
They say to him: Caesar's. Then he saith to them: Render therefore to Caesar the things that are Caesar's; and to God, the things that are God's. Mt. 22:21

And then shall many be scandalized and shall betray one another and shall hate one another. Mt. 24:10

Then if any man shall say to you, Lo here is Christ, or there: do not believe him. Mt. 24:23

And when the Son of man shall come in his majesty, and all the angels with him, then shall he sit upon the seat of his majesty. Mt. 25:31
Then shall the king say to them that shall be on his right hand: Come, ye blessed of my Father, possess you the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. Mt. 25:34
Then shall the just answer him, saying: Lord, when did we see thee hungry and fed thee: thirsty and gave thee drink? Mt. 25:37
Then he shall say to them also that shall be on his left hand: Depart from me, you cursed, into everlasting fire, which was prepared for the devil and his angels. Mt. 25:41
Then they also shall answer him, saying: Lord, when did we see thee hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison and did not minister to thee? Mt. 25:44
Then he shall answer them, saying: Amen: I say to you, as long as you did it not to one of these least, neither did you do it to me. Mt. 25:45
Then were gathered together the chief priests and ancients of the people, into the court of the high priest, who was called Caiphas: Mt. 26:3

Then he saith to them: My soul is sorrowful even unto death. Stay you here and watch with me. Mt. 26:38

Now all this was done that the scriptures of the prophets might be fulfilled. Then the disciples, all leaving him, fled. Mt. 26:56
Then the high priest rent his garments, saying: He hath blasphemed: What further need have we of witnesses? Behold, now you have heard the blasphemy. Mt. 26:65
Then did they spit in his face and buffeted him. And others struck his face with the palms of their hands, Mt. 26:67

¤ What advantage then hath the Jew: or what is the profit of circumcision? Rom. 3:1
What then? Do we excel them? No, not so. For we have charged both Jews and Greeks, that they are all under sin. Rom. 3:9
Where is then thy boasting? It is excluded. By what law? Of works? No, but by the law of faith. Rom. 3:27
Do we then, destroy the law through faith? God forbid! But we establish the law. Rom. 3:31
¤ What shall we say then that Abraham hath found, who is our father according to the flesh? Rom. 4:1
This blessedness then, doth it remain in the circumcision only or in the uncircumcision also? For we say that unto Abraham faith was reputed to justice. Rom. 4:9
How then was it reputed? When he was in circumcision or in uncircumcision? Not in circumcision, but in uncircumcision. Rom. 4:10
¤ What shall we say, then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? Rom. 6:1
What then? Shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid! Rom. 6:15
Being then freed from sin, we have been made servants of justice. Rom. 6:18
What fruit therefore had you then in those things of which you are now ashamed? For the end of them is death. Rom. 6:21
What shall we say, then? Is the law sin? God forbid! But I do not know sin, but by the law. For I had not known concupiscence, if the law did not say: Thou shalt not covet. Rom. 7:7
Was that then which is good made death unto me? God forbid! But sin, that it may appear sin, by that which is good, wrought death in me: that sin, by the commandment, might become sinful above measure. Rom. 7:13
If then I do that which I will not, I consent to the law, that it is good. Rom. 7:16
Now then it is no more I that do it: but sin that dwelleth in me. Rom. 7:17
I find then a law, that when I have a will to do good, evil is present with me. Rom. 7:21
What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who is against us? Rom. 8:31
Who then shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation? Or distress? Or famine? Or nakedness? Or danger? Or persecution? Or the sword? Rom. 8:35
What shall we say then? Is there injustice with God? God forbid! Rom. 9:14
So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy. Rom. 9:16
Thou wilt say therefore to me: Why doth he then find fault? For who resisteth his will? Rom. 9:19
What then shall we say? That the Gentiles who followed not after justice have attained to justice, even the justice that is of faith. Rom. 9:30
How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? Or how shall they believe him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? Rom. 10:14
Faith then cometh by hearing; and hearing by the word of Christ. Rom. 10:17
¤ I say then: Hath God cast away his people? God forbid! For I also am an Israelite of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin. Rom. 11:1
Even so then, at this present time also, there is a remnant saved according to the election of grace. Rom. 11:5
What then? That which Israel sought, he hath not obtained: but the election hath obtained it. And the rest have been blinded. Rom. 11:7
I say then: Have they so stumbled, that they should fall? God forbid! But by their offence salvation is come to the Gentiles, that they may be emulous of them. Rom. 11:11
Thou wilt say then: The branches were broken off that I might be grafted in. Rom. 11:19
See then the goodness and the severity of God: towards them indeed that are fallen, the severity; but towards thee, the goodness of God, if thou abide in goodness. Otherwise thou also shalt be cut off. Rom. 11:22
For princes are not a terror to the good work, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? Do that which is good: and thou shalt have praise from the same. Rom. 13:3
Let not then our good be evil spoken of. Rom. 14:16
Is Christ divided? Was Paul then crucified for you? Or were you baptized in the name of Paul? 1 Cor. 1:13
What then is Apollo and what is Paul? The ministers of him whom you have believed: and to every one as the Lord hath given. 1 Cor. 3:5
Therefore, judge not before the time: until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts. And then shall every man have praise from God. 1 Cor. 4:5
Know you not that your bodies are the members of Christ? Shall I then take the members of Christ and make them the members of an harlot? God forbid! 1 Cor. 6:15
What is my reward then? That preaching the gospel, I may deliver the gospel without charge, that I abuse not my power in the gospel. 1 Cor. 9:18
What then? Do I say that what is offered in sacrifice to idols is any thing? Or that the idol is any thing? 1 Cor. 10:19
And God indeed hath set some in the church; first apostles, secondly prophets, thirdly doctors: after that miracles: then the graces of healings, helps, governments, kinds of tongues, interpretations of speeches. 1 Cor. 12:28
We see now through a glass in a dark manner: but then face to face. Now I know in part: but then I shall know even as I am known. 1 Cor. 13:12
If then I know not the power of the voice, I shall be to him to whom I speak a barbarian: and he that speaketh a barbarian to me. 1 Cor. 14:11
What is it then? I will pray with the spirit, I will pray also with the understanding, I will sing with the spirit, I will sing also with the understanding. 1 Cor. 14:15
How is it then, brethren? When you come together, every one of you hath a psalm, hath a doctrine, hath a revelation, hath a tongue, hath an interpretation: let all things be done to edification. 1 Cor. 14:26
Then he was seen by more than five hundred brethren at once: of whom many remain until this present, and some are fallen asleep. 1 Cor. 15:6
After that, he was seen by James: then by all the apostles. 1 Cor. 15:7
But if there be no resurrection of the dead, then Christ is not risen again. 1 Cor. 15:13
And if Christ be not risen again, then is our preaching vain: and your faith is also vain. 1 Cor. 15:14
Then they also that are fallen asleep in Christ are perished. 1 Cor. 15:18
But every one in his own order: the firstfruits, Christ: then they that are of Christ, who have believed in his coming. 1 Cor. 15:23
And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then the Son also himself shall be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all. 1 Cor. 15:28
Otherwise, what shall they do that are baptized for the dead, if the dead rise not again at all? Why are they then baptized for them? 1 Cor. 15:29
And when this mortal hath put on immortality, then shall come to pass the saying that is written: Death is swallowed up in victory. 1 Cor. 15:54
On the first day of the week, let every one of you put apart with himself, laying up what it shall well please him: that when I come, the collections be not then to be made. 1 Cor. 16:2
Whereas then I was thus minded, did I use lightness? Or, the things that I purpose, do I purpose according to the flesh, that there should be with me, It is, and It is not? 2 Cor. 1:17
For if I make you sorrowful, who is he then that can make me glad, but the same who is made sorrowful by me? 2 Cor. 2:2
So then death worketh in us: but life in you. 2 Cor. 4:12
For the charity of Christ presseth us: judging this, that if one died for all, then all were dead. 2 Cor. 5:14
If then any be in Christ a new creature, the old things are passed away. Behold all things are made new. 2 Cor. 5:17
And not as we hoped: but they gave their own selves, first to the Lord, then to us by the will of God; 2 Cor. 8:5
For which cause I please myself in my infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ. For when I am weak, then am I powerful. 2 Cor. 12:10
Then, after three years, I went to Jerusalem to see Peter: and I tarried with him fifteen days. Gal. 1:18
¤ Then, after fourteen years, I went up again to Jerusalem with Barnabas, taking Titus also with me. Gal. 2:1
But if, while we seek to be justified in Christ, we ourselves also are found sinners, is Christ then the minister of sin? God forbid! Gal. 2:17
I cast not away the grace of God. For if justice be by the law, then Christ died in vain. Gal. 2:21
Why then was the law? It was set because of transgressions, until the seed should come to whom he made the promise, being ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator. Gal. 3:19
Was the law then against the promises of God: God forbid! For if there had been a law given which could give life, verily justice should have been by the law. Gal. 3:21
And if you be Christ's, then are you the seed of Abraham, heirs according to the promise. Gal. 3:29
But then indeed, not knowing God, you served them who, by nature, are not gods. Gal. 4:8
Where is then your blessedness? For I bear you witness that, if it could be done, you would have plucked out your own eyes and would have given them to me. Gal. 4:15
Am I then become your enemy, because I tell you the truth? Gal. 4:16
But as then he that was born according to the flesh persecuted him that was after the spirit: so also it is now. Gal. 4:29
So then, brethren, we are not the children of the bondwoman but of the free: by the freedom wherewith Christ has made us free. Gal. 4:31
And I, brethren, if I yet preach circumcision, why do I yet suffer persecution? Then is the scandal of the cross made void. Gal. 5:11
I say then: Walk in the spirit: and you shall not fulfill the lusts of the flesh. Gal. 5:16
This then I say and testify in the Lord: That henceforward you walk not as also the Gentiles walk in the vanity of their mind: Eph. 4:17
For you were heretofore darkness, but now light in the Lord. Walk then as children of the light. Eph. 5:8
But what then? So that by all means, whether by occasion or by truth, Christ be preached: in this also I rejoice, yea, and will rejoice. Phil. 1:18

Then sayd he to the king: Be midful of thy vow, which thou hast vowed, to build Ierusalem in the day that thou didst receiue the kingdom: 3 Esd. 4:43
Then Darius the king rising vp, kissed him: and wrote letters to al the officers, and ouerseers, and them that weare purple, that they should conduct him, and them that were with him, al going vp to build Ierusalem. 3 Esd. 4:47
Then Zorobabel the sonne of Salathiel standing vp, and Iesus the sonne of Iosedec begane to build the house of our Lord, which is in Ierusalem. 3 Esd. 6:2
Then we asked the ancients saying, by whose permission build ye this house, & found these workes? 3 Esd. 6:11

saying: Why hast thou brought vs into this desert to kil vs? it had bene better for vs to serue the AEgyptians, then to dye in this desert. (Num. 14) 4 Esd. 1:18

I nothing remember how this way should be forsaken: doth Babylon better thinges then Sion? 4 Esd. 3:31
I sayd to him: Better were it for vs not to be, then yet liuing to liue in impieties, and to suffer, and not to vnderstand for what thing. 4 Esd. 4:12
If then that which is sowen be not turned vp, and the place depart where the euil is sowen, that shal not come where the good is sowen. 4 Esd. 4:29
shew mee if there be more to come then is passed, or more things haue passed, then are to come. 4 Esd. 4:45
And he sayd to me: Thinke with thyself, as the raine increaseth more then the droppes, and the fire then the smoke: so did the measure that passed, more a bound. But the droppes, and the smoke ouercame: 4 Esd. 4:50
and in swete waters shal salt waters be found, and al frendes shal ouerthrow one an other: and then shal witte be hid, and vnderstanding shal be separated into his cellar: 4 Esd. 5:9
These signes I am permitted to tel thee: and if thou pray againe and weepe, as also now, and fast seuen dayes, thou shalt heare againe greater thinges then these. 4 Esd. 5:13
And I sayd: Speake my Lord. And he sayd to me: Thou art become excedingly in excesse of minde for Israel: hast thou loued it more then him that made it? 4 Esd. 5:33
and open me the shut cellars, & bring me forth the blastes inclosed in them, shew me the image of a voice: and then wil I shew thee the labour that thou desirest to see. 4 Esd. 5:37
Consider therfore thou also, that you are of lesse stature, then they that were before you: 4 Esd. 5:54
and they that are after you, of lesser then you, as it were creatures now waxing old, and past the strength of youth. 4 Esd. 5:55
then I thought, and they were made by me only, and not by any other: and the end by me, and not by any other. 4 Esd. 6:6

Neither haue indignation towards them, which are iudged worse then beastes: but loue them that alwayes haue confidence in thy iustice, and glorie. 4 Esd. 8:30
For if thou shalt be desirous to haue mercie on vs, then thou shalt be called merciful, to vs hauing no workes of iustice. 4 Esd. 8:32
then shalt thou vnderstand, that the same is the time wherin the Highest wil beginne to visite the world that was made by him. 4 Esd. 9:2
then shalt thou vnderstand, that of these spake the Highest, from the dayes that were before thee, from the beginning. 4 Esd. 9:4
And then shal they be in miserie, that now haue abused my wayes: and they that haue reiected them in contempt, shal abide in torments. 4 Esd. 9:9
I haue spoken hertofore, and now I say, and hereafter wil say: that they are more which perish then that shal be saued: (Matt. 10) 4 Esd. 9:15
as a floud is multiplied aboue, more then a droppe. 4 Esd. 9:16
For then euery man, and now the creator in this world prepared, and haruest not fayling, and law vnsearchable their manners are corrupted. 4 Esd. 9:19
And who then ought to mourne more, but she that hath lost so great a multitude, rather then thou which art sorie for one? 4 Esd. 10:11
And it came to passe after thirtie yeares, Salomon built the citie, and offered oblations: then it was, when the barren bare a childe. 4 Esd. 10:46

Behold the dayes come, and there shal rise a kingdon vpon the earth, and the feare shal be more terrible then of al the kingdomes that were before it. 4 Esd. 12:13
For the second shal beginne to reigne, and he shal continew more time then the rest of the twelue. 4 Esd. 12:15
this is the interpretation, that after the time of that kingdom shal rise no smal contentions, and it shal be in danger to fal: and it shal not fal then, but shal be constituted againe according to the beginning therof. 4 Esd. 12:18
For he shal sette them in iudgment aliue: and it shal be, when he hath reproued them, then shal he chastise them. 4 Esd. 12:33
If then thou shalt forsake vs, how much better had it bene to vs, if we also had bene burnt with the burning of Sion? 4 Esd. 12:44
For we are not better then they that dyed there. And they wept with a lowd voice. And I answered them, and sayd: 4 Esd. 12:45
But yet it is easier, aduenturing to come into it, then to passe, as a cloud from the world, and vow to see the thinges that happen in the later time. And he answered me, and sayd: 4 Esd. 13:20
Know therefore that they are more blessed which are leaft, then they that are dead. 4 Esd. 13:24
And it shal be, when these thinges shal come to passe, and the signes shal happen, which I shewed thee before: and then shal my sonne be reueled, whom thou sawest, as a man coming vp. 4 Esd. 13:32
For the Highest then wrought them signes, and stayed the vaines of the riuer til they passed. (Ex. 14/ Jos. 3) 4 Esd. 13:44
Then did they inhabite there til in the later time: and now againe when they beginne to come, 4 Esd. 13:46
and then shal he shew them very manie wonders. 4 Esd. 13:50
for the euiles which thou hast sene to haue chanced now, worse then these wil they doe againe: (Matt. 24/ 1 John 2) 4 Esd. 14:15
And then some thinges thou shalt open to the perfect, some thou shalt deliuer secretly to the wyse. For to morrow this houre thou shalt begine to write. 4 Esd. 14:26
If then you wil rule ouer your sense, & instruct your hart, you shal be preserued aliue, and after death shal obtaine mercie. 4 Esd. 14:34
For the iudgement shal come after death, when we shal returne to lyfe againe: and then the names of the iust shal appeare, and the dedes of the impious shal be shewed. 4 Esd. 14:35
Behold, there shal be good cheape victuals vpon the earth, so that they may thinke that peace is directly coming toward them, and then shal euiles spring vpon the earth, sword, famine, and great confusion. 4 Esd. 16:22
Then shal appeare the probation of mine elect, as gold that is proued by the fire. 4 Esd. 16:74
