And whosoever would not conform themselves to the ways of the Gentiles, should be put to death: then was misery to be seen. 2 Ma. 6:9
But he began to consider the dignity of his age, and his ancient years, and the inbred honour of his grey head, and his good life and conversation from a child; and he answered without delay, according to the ordinances of the holy law made by God, saying, that he would rather be sent into the other world. 2 Ma. 6:23
So when the first was dead after this manner, they brought the next to make him a mocking stock: and when they had pulled off the skin of his head with the hair, they asked him if he would eat, before he were punished throughout the whole body in every limb. 2 Ma. 7:7
Now Antiochus, thinking himself despised, and withal despising the voice of the upbraider, when the youngest was yet alive, did not only exhort him by words, but also assured him with an oath, that he would make him a rich and a happy man, and, if he would turn from the laws of his fathers, would take him for a friend, and furnish him with things necessary. 2 Ma. 7:24
And when he had exhorted her with many words she promised that she would counsel her son. 2 Ma. 7:26

But there are also many other things which Jesus did which, if they were written every one, the world itself. I think, would not be able to contain the books that should be written. Jn. 21:25
Now when the officer of the temple and the chief priests heard these words, they were in doubt concerning them, what would come to pass. Acts 5:24

And certain philosophers of the Epicureans and of the Stoics disputed with him. And some said: What is it that this word sower would say? But others: He seemeth to be a setter forth of new gods. Because he preached to them Jesus and the resurrection. Acts 17:18
For thou bringest in certain new things to our ears. We would know therefore what these things mean. Acts 17:20

But if they would learn anything, let them ask their husbands at home. For it is a shame for a woman to speak in the church. 1 Cor. 14:35

Which is not another: only there are some that trouble you and would pervert the gospel of Christ. Gal. 1:7
This only would I learn of you: Did you receive the Spirit by the works of the law or by the hearing of faith? Gal. 3:2
Are you so foolish that, whereas you began in the Spirit, you would now be made perfect by the flesh? Gal. 3:3
Where is then your blessedness? For I bear you witness that, if it could be done, you would have plucked out your own eyes and would have given them to me. Gal. 4:15
They are zealous in your regard not well: but they would exclude you, that you might be zealous for them. Gal. 4:17
And I would willingly be present with you now and change my voice: because I am ashamed for you. Gal. 4:20

Whom I would have retained with me, that in thy stead he might have ministered to me in the bands of the gospel. Ph'm 1:13
