- And his power shall be strengthened, but not by his own force: and he shall lay all things waste, and shall prosper, and do more than can be believed. And he shall destroy the mighty, and the people of the saints, Dan. 8:24
- And how can the servant of my lord speak with my lord? for no strength remaineth in me; moreover, my breath is stopped. Dan. 10:17

- No man can serve two masters. For either he will hate the one, and love the other: or he will sustain the one, and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon. Mt. 6:24

- A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can an evil tree bring forth good fruit. Mt. 7:18
