Achaz was twenty years old when he began to reign, and he reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem: he did not that which was pleasing in the sight of the Lord, his God, as David, his father. 4 Ki. 16:2

The ancient giants did not obtain pardon for their sins, who were destroyed trusting to their own strength: Sir. 16:8

For all this the people repented not, neither did they depart from their sins till they were cast out of their land, and were scattered through all the earth. Sir. 48:16

For Ezechias did that which pleased God, and walked valiantly in the way of David his father, which Isaias, the great prophet, and faithful in the sight of God, had commanded him. Sir. 48:25

And when he was come forth to the land, there met him a certain man who had a devil now a very long time. And he wore no clothes: neither did he abide in a house, but in the sepulchres. Lk. 8:27

But Jesus did not trust himself unto them: for that he knew all men, Jn. 2:24

Your fathers did eat manna in the desert: and are dead. Jn. 6:49
This is the bread that came down from heaven. Not as your fathers did eat manna and are dead. He that eateth this bread shall live for ever. Jn. 6:58
But there are some of you that believe not. For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were that did not believe and who he was that would betray him. Jn. 6:64
And he said: Therefore did I say to you that no man can come to me, unless it be given him by my Father. Jn. 6:65
For neither did his brethren believe in him. Jn. 7:5
Did not Moses give you the law, and yet none of you keepeth the law? Why seek you to kill me? Jn. 7:19
The ministers answered: Never did man speak like this man. Jn. 7:46
They said therefore to him: Where is thy Father? Jesus answered: Neither me do you know, nor my Father. If you did know me, perhaps you would know my Father also. Jn. 8:19
But now you seek to kill me, a man who have spoken the truth to you, which I have heard of God. This Abraham did not. Jn. 8:40
The Jews then did not believe concerning him, that he had been blind and had received his sight, until they called the parents of him that had received his sight, Jn. 9:18
Therefore did his parents say: He is of age. Ask himself. Jn. 9:23
They said then to him: What did he to thee? How did he open thy eyes? Jn. 9:26
And many resorted to him: and they said: John indeed did no sign. But all things whatsoever John said of this man were true. Jn. 10:41
Jesus saith to her: Did not I say to thee that if thou believe, thou shalt see the glory of God? Jn. 11:40
Many therefore of the Jews, who were come to Mary and Martha and had seen the things that Jesus did, believed in him. Jn. 11:45
These things his disciples did not know at the first: but when Jesus was glorified, then they remembered that these things were written of him and that they had done these things to him. Jn. 12:16
However, many of the chief men also believed in him: but because of the Pharisees they did not confess him, that they might not be cast out of the synagogue. Jn. 12:42
And Simon Peter followed Jesus: and so did another disciple. And that disciple was known to the high priest and went in with Jesus into the court of the high priest. Jn. 18:15
One of the servants of the high priest (a kinsman to him whose ear Peter cut off) saith to him: Did not I see thee in the garden with him? Jn. 18:26
This title therefore many of the Jews did read: because the place where Jesus was crucified was nigh to the city. And it was written in Hebrew, in Greek, and in Latin. Jn. 19:20
They said then one to another: Let us not cut it but let us cast lots for it, whose it shall be; that the scripture might be fulfilled, saying: They have parted my garments among them, and upon my vesture they have cast lots. And the soldiers indeed did these things. Jn. 19:24
But after they were come to Jesus, when they saw that he was already dead, they did not break his legs. Jn. 19:33
And they both ran together: and that other disciple did outrun Peter and came first to the sepulchre. Jn. 20:4
Many other signs also did Jesus in the sight of his disciples, which are not written in this book. Jn. 20:30
This saying therefore went abroad among the brethren, that that disciple should not die. And Jesus did not say to him: He should not die; but: So I will have him to remain till I come, what is it to thee? Jn. 21:23
But there are also many other things which Jesus did which, if they were written every one, the world itself. I think, would not be able to contain the books that should be written. Jn. 21:25
Ye men of Israel, hear these words: Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him, in the midst of you, as you also know: Acts 2:22
