The Lord shall send upon thee famine and hunger, and a rebuke upon all the works which thou shalt do: until he consume and destroy thee quickly, for thy most wicked inventions, by which thou hast forsaken me. Dt. 28:20
Keep therefore the words of this covenant, and fulfil them: that you may understand all that you do. Dt. 29:9
Neither with you only do I make this covenant, and confirm these oaths, Dt. 29:14
Secret things to the Lord our God: things that are manifest, to us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law. Dt. 29:29

And he said to all Israel: Be you on one side and I, with Jonathan, my son, will be on the other side. And the people answered Saul: Do what seemeth good in thy eyes. 1 Ki. 14:40

Deal mercifully then with thy servant: for thou hast brought me, thy servant, into a covenant of the Lord with thee. But if there be any iniquity in me, do thou kill me, and bring me not in to thy father. 1 Ki. 20:8
And Jonathan said: Far be this from thee: for if I should certainly know that evil is determined by my father against thee, I could do no otherwise than tell thee. 1 Ki. 20:9
May the Lord do so and so to Jonathan, and add still more. But if my father shall continue in malice against thee, I will discover it to thy ear, and will send thee away, that thou mayst go in peace, and the Lord be with thee, as he hath been with my father. 1 Ki. 20:13
Then Saul being angry against Jonathan, said to him: Thou son of a woman that is the ravisher of a man, do I not know that thou lovest the son of Isai to thy own confusion, and to the confusion of thy shameless mother? 1 Ki. 20:30
And David departed from thence into Maspha of Moab: and he said to the king of Moab: Let my father and my mother tarry with you, I beseech thee, till I know what God will do for me. 1 Ki. 22:3
And the servants of David said to him: Behold the day, of which the Lord said to thee: I will deliver thy enemy unto thee, that thou mayst do to him as it shall seem good in thy eyes. Then David arose, and secretly cut off the hem of Saul's robe. 1 Ki. 24:4
And he said to his men: The Lord be merciful unto me, that I may do no such thing to my master, the Lord's anointed, as to lay my hand upon him, because he is the Lord's anointed. 1 Ki. 24:6
Wherefore consider, and think what thou hast to do: for evil is determined against thy husband, and against thy house, and he is a son of Belial, so that no man can speak to him. 1 Ki. 25:17
May God do so and so, and add more to the foes of David, if I leave of all that belong to him till the morning, any that pisseth against the wall. 1 Ki. 25:22

And Samuel said to Saul: Why hast thou disturbed my rest, that I should be brought up? For the Lord will do to thee as he spoke by me, and he will rend thy kingdom out of thy hand, and will give it to thy neighbour David: 1 Ki. 28:17

And let these my words, wherewith I have prayed before the Lord, be nigh unto the Lord our God day and night, that he may do judgment for his servant, and for his people Israel, day by day: 3 Ki. 8:59
¤ And it came to pass when Solomon had finished the building of the house of the Lord, and the king's house, and all that he desired and was pleased to do, 3 Ki. 9:1
And if thou wilt walk before me, as thy father walked, in simplicity of heart, and in uprightness: and wilt do all that I have commanded thee, and wilt keep my ordinances, and my judgments, 3 Ki. 9:4

And Jezabel sent a messenger to Elias, saying: Such and such things may the gods do to me, and add still more, if by this hour to morrow I make not thy life as the life of one of them. 3 Ki. 19:2

And he said: I will go forth, and be a lying spirit, in the mouth of all his prophets. And the Lord said: Thou shalt deceive him, and shalt prevail: go forth, and do so. 3 Ki. 22:22
And when they were gone over, Elias said to Eliseus: Ask what thou wilt have me to do for thee, before I be taken away from thee. And Eliseus said: I beseech thee, that in me may be thy double spirit. 4 Ki. 2:9
And they said to him: Behold, there are with thy servants, fifty strong men, that can go, and seek thy master, lest, perhaps, the spirit of the Lord, hath taken him up and cast him upon some mountain, or into some valley. And he said: Do not send. 4 Ki. 2:16
And they came back to him: for he abode at Jericho, and he said to them: Did I not say to you? Do not send. 4 Ki. 2:18
And Eliseus said to the king of Israel: What have I to do with thee? go to the prophets of thy father, and thy mother. And the king of Israel said to him: Why hath the Lord gathered together these three kings, to deliver them into the hands of Moab? 4 Ki. 3:13
And Eliseus said to her: What wilt thou have me do for thee? Tell me, what hast thou in thy house? And she answered: I, thy handmaid, have nothing in my house but a little oil, to anoint me. 4 Ki. 4:2
He said to his servant: Say to her: Behold, thou hast diligently served us in all things; what wilt thou have me to do for thee? Hast thou any business, and wilt thou, that I speak to the king, or to the general of the army? And she answered: I dwell in the midst of my own people. 4 Ki. 4:13
And he said: What will she then that I do for her? And Giezi said: Do not ask, for she hath no son, and her husband is old. 4 Ki. 4:14
He said to her: At this time, and this same hour, if life be in company, thou shalt have a son in thy womb. But she answered: Do not, I beseech thee, my lord, thou man of God, do not lie to thy handmaid. 4 Ki. 4:16
And she saddled an ass, and commanded her servant: Drive, and make haste, make no stay in going: And do that which I bid thee. 4 Ki. 4:24
And she said to him: Did I ask a son of my lord? did I not say to thee: Do not deceive me? 4 Ki. 4:28
His servants came to him, and said to him: Father, if the prophet had bid thee do some great thing, surely thou shouldst have done it: how much rather what he now hath said to thee: Wash, and thou shalt be clean? 4 Ki. 5:13
And the heart of the king of Syria, was troubled for this thing. And calling together his servants, he said: Why do you not tell me who it is that betrays me to the king of Israel? 4 Ki. 6:11
And the servant of the man of God, rising early went out, and saw an army round about the city, and horses and chariots: and he told him, saying: Alas, alas, alas, my lord, what shall we do? 4 Ki. 6:15
And the king said: May God do so and so to me, and may he add more, if the head of Eliseus, the son of Saphat, shall stand on him this day. 4 Ki. 6:31
But Eliseus sat in his house, and the ancients sat with him. So he sent a man before: and before that messenger came, he said to the ancients: Do you know that this son of a murderer hath sent to cut off my head? Look then when the messenger shall come, shut the door, and suffer him not to come in: for behold the sound of his master's feet is behind him. 4 Ki. 6:32
Then they said one to another: We do not well: for this is a day of good tidings. If we hold our peace, and do not tell it till the morning, we shall be charged with a crime: come, let us go, and tell it in the king's court. 4 Ki. 7:9
And Hazael said to him: Why doth my lord weep? And he said: Because I know the evil that thou wilt do to the children of Israel. Their strong cities thou wilt burn with fire, and their young men thou wilt kill with the sword, and thou wilt dash their children, and rip up their pregnant women. 4 Ki. 8:12
And Hazael said: But what am I, thy servant, a dog, that I should do this great thing? And Eliseus said: The Lord hath shewed me that thou shalt be king of Syria. 4 Ki. 8:13
But they answered: It is false; but rather do thou tell us. And he said to them: Thus and thus did he speak to me: and he said: Thus saith the Lord: I have anointed thee king over Israel. 4 Ki. 9:12
So there went one in a chariot to meet him, and said: Thus saith the king: Are all things peaceable? And Jehu said: What hast thou to do with peace? go behind and follow me. And the watchman told, saying: The messenger came to them, but he returneth not. 4 Ki. 9:18
And he sent a second chariot of horses: and he came to them, and said: Thus saith the king: Is there peace? And Jehu said: What hast thou to do with peace? pass, and follow me. 4 Ki. 9:19
If I do not requite thee in this field, saith the Lord, for the blood of Naboth, and for the blood of his children, which I saw yesterday, saith the Lord. So now take him, and cast him into the field, according to the word of the Lord. 4 Ki. 9:26
Therefore they that were over the king's house, and the rulers of the city, and the ancients, and the bringers up of the children, sent to Jehu, saying: We are thy servants: whatsoever thou shalt command us we will do; we will not make us any king: do thou all that pleaseth thee. 4 Ki. 10:5
And he commanded them, saying: This is the thing that you must do. 4 Ki. 11:5
And king Joas called Joiada, the high priest, and the priests, saying to them: Why do you not repair the temple? Take you, therefore, money no more according to your order, but restore it for the repairing of the temple. 4 Ki. 12:7
And they worshipped abominations, concerning which the Lord had commanded them that they should not do this thing. 4 Ki. 17:12
And they rejected his ordinances, and the covenant that he made with their fathers, and the testimonies which he testified against them: and they followed vanities, and acted vainly: and they followed the nations that were round about them, concerning which the Lord had commanded them that they should not do as they did. 4 Ki. 17:15
And consecrated their sons, and their daughters, through fire: and they gave themselves to divinations, and soothsayings: and they delivered themselves up to do evil before the Lord, to provoke him. 4 Ki. 17:17
Unto this day they follow the old manner: they fear not the Lord, neither do they keep his ceremonies, and judgments, and law, and the commandment, which the Lord commanded the children of Jacob, whom he surnamed Israel: 4 Ki. 17:34
And the ceremonies, and judgments, and law, and the commandment, which he wrote for you, you shall observe to do them always: and you shall not fear strange gods. 4 Ki. 17:37
So these nations feared the Lord, but nevertheless served also their idols: their children also, and grandchildren, as their fathers did, so do they unto this day. 4 Ki. 17:41
Because they hearkened not to the voice of the Lord, their God, but transgressed his covenant: all that Moses, the servant of the Lord, commanded, they would not hear, nor do. 4 Ki. 18:12
Do not hearken to Ezechias. For thus saith the king of the Assyrians: Do with me that which is for your advantage, and come out to me: and every man of you shall eat of his own vineyard, and of his own fig tree: and you shall drink water of your own cisterns, 4 Ki. 18:31
It may be the Lord, thy God, will hear all the words of Rabsaces, whom the king of the Assyrians, his master, hath sent to reproach the living God, and to reprove with words, which the Lord, thy God, hath heard: and do thou offer prayer for the remnants that are found. 4 Ki. 19:4
Thus shall you say to Ezechias, king of Juda: Let not thy God deceive thee, in whom thou trustest: and do not say: Jerusalem shall not be delivered into the hands of the king of the Assyrians. 4 Ki. 19:10
For out of Jerusalem shall go forth a remnant, and that which shall be saved out of mount Sion: the zeal of the Lord of hosts shall do this. 4 Ki. 19:31
And Isaias said to him: This shall be the sign from the Lord, that the Lord will do the word which he hath spoken: Wilt thou that the shadow go forward ten lines, or that it go back so many degrees? 4 Ki. 20:9
And Ezechias said: It is an easy matter for the shadow to go forward ten lines: and I do not desire that this be done, but let it return back ten degrees. 4 Ki. 20:10
And he made his son pass through fire: and he used divinations, and observed omens, and appointed pythons, and multiplied soothsayers, to do evil before the Lord, and to provoke him. 4 Ki. 21:6
And I will no more make the feet of Israel to be moved out of the land, which I gave to their fathers: only if they will observe to do all that I have commanded them, according to the law which my servant Moses commanded them. 4 Ki. 21:8
But they hearkened not: but were seduced by Manasses, to do evil more than the nations which the Lord destroyed before the children of Israel. 4 Ki. 21:9

They are framed after the likeness of a palm tree, and shall not speak: they must be carried to be removed, because they cannot go. Therefore fear them not, for they can neither do evil nor good. Jer. 10:5

If thou hast been wearied with running with footmen, how canst thou contend with horses? and if thou hast been secure in a land of peace, what wilt thou do in the swelling of the Jordan? Jer. 12:5
Thou shalt speak therefore to them this word: Thus saith the Lord God of Israel: Every bottle shall be filled with wine. And they shall say to thee: Do we not know that every bottle shall be filled with wine? Jer. 13:12
If the Ethiopian can change his skin, or the leopard his spots: you also may do well, when you have learned evil. Jer. 13:23
If our iniquities have testified against us, O Lord, do thou it for thy name's sake, for our rebellions are many, we have sinned against thee. Jer. 14:7

And it shall come to pass: if you will hearken to me, saith the Lord, to bring in no burdens by the gates of this city on the sabbath day: and if you will sanctify the sabbath day, to do no work therein: Jer. 17:24
Cannot I do with you, as this potter, O house of Israel, saith the Lord? behold as clay is in the hand of the potter, so are you in my hand, O house of Israel. Jer. 18:6
If that nation against which I have spoken, shall repent of their evil, I also will repent of the evil that I have thought to do to them. Jer. 18:8

And I sent to you all my servants the prophets, rising early, and sending, and saying: Do not commit this abominable thing, which I hate. Jer. 44:4
And now thus saith the Lord of hosts the God of Israel: Why do you commit this great evil against your own souls, that there should die of you man and woman, child and suckling out of the midst of Juda, and no remnant should be left you: Jer. 44:7
But we will certainly do every word that shall proceed out of our own mouth, to sacrifice to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings to her, as we and our fathers have done, our kings, and our princes in the cities of Juda, and in the streets of Jerusalem: and we were filled with bread, and it was well with us, and we saw no evil. Thus saith the Lord: Thus shalt thou say to him: Behold, them whom I have built, I do destroy: and them whom I have planted, I do pluck up, and all this land. Jer. 45:4
How do you say: We are valiant and stout men in battle? Jer. 48:14
I know, saith the Lord, his boasting, and that the strength thereof is not according to it, neither hath it endeavoured to do according as it was able. Jer. 48:30

¤ Take heed that you do not your justice before men, to be seen by them: otherwise you shall not have a reward of your Father who is in heaven. Mt. 6:1
Therefore when thou dost an alms-deed, sound not a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may be honoured by men. Amen I say to you, they have received their reward. Mt. 6:2
But lay up to yourselves treasures in heaven: where neither the rust nor moth doth consume, and where thieves do not break through, nor steal. Mt. 6:20
Behold the birds of the air, for they neither sow, nor do they reap, nor gather into barns: and your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are not you of much more value than they? Mt. 6:26
And for raiment why are you solicitous? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they labour not, neither do they spin. Mt. 6:28
For after all these things do the heathens seek. For your Father knoweth that you have need of all these things. Mt. 6:32
All things therefore whatsoever you would that men should do to you, do you also to them. For this is the law and the prophets. Mt. 7:12
By their fruits you shall know them. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? Mt. 7:16
For I also am a man subject to authority, having under me soldiers; and I say to this, Go, and he goeth, and to another Come, and he cometh, and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it. Mt. 8:9
And behold they cried out, saying: What have we to do with thee, Jesus Son of God? art thou come hither to torment us before the time? Mt. 8:29
And Jesus seeing their thoughts, said: Why do you think evil in your hearts? Mt. 9:4
Then came to him the disciples of John, saying: Why do we and the Pharisees, fast often, but thy disciples do not fast? Mt. 9:14
Neither do they put new wine into old bottles. Otherwise the bottles break, and the wine runneth out, and the bottles perish. But new wine they put into new bottles: and both are preserved. Mt. 9:17
And when he was come to the house, the blind men came to him. And Jesus saith to them, Do you believe, that I can do this unto you? They say to him, Yea, Lord. Mt. 9:28
Do not possess gold, nor silver, nor money in your purses: Mt. 10:9
Do not think that I came to send peace upon earth: I came not to send peace, but the sword. Mt. 10:34
And the Pharisees seeing them, said to him: Behold thy disciples do that which is not lawful to do on the sabbath days. Mt. 12:2
How much better is a man than a sheep? Therefore it is lawful to do a good deed on the sabbath days. Mt. 12:12
And if I by Beelzebub cast out devils, by whom do your children cast them out? Therefore they shall be your judges. Mt. 12:27
For whosoever shall do the will of my Father, that is in heaven, he is my brother, and sister, and mother. Mt. 12:50
Therefore do I speak to them in parables: because seeing they see not, and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand. Mt. 13:13
Why do thy disciples transgress the tradition of the ancients? For they wash not their hands when they eat bread. Mt. 15:2
But he answering, said to them: Why do you also transgress the commandment of God for your tradition? Mt. 15:3
And in vain do they worship me, teaching doctrines and commandments of men. Mt. 15:9
Do you not understand, that whatsoever entereth into the mouth, goeth into the belly, and is cast out into the privy? Mt. 15:17
And Jesus knowing it, said: Why do you think within yourselves, O ye of little faith, for that you have no bread? Mt. 16:8
Do you not yet understand, neither do you remember the five loaves among five thousand men, and how many baskets you took up? Mt. 16:9
Why do you not understand that it was not concerning bread I said to you: Beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees? Mt. 16:11
And Jesus came into the quarters of Cesarea Philippi: and he asked his disciples, saying: Whom do men say that the Son of man is? Mt. 16:13
Jesus saith to them: But whom do you say that I am? Mt. 16:15
And his disciples asked him, saying: Why then do the scribes say that Elias must come first? Mt. 17:10
He said: Yes. And when he was come into the house, Jesus prevented him, saying: What is thy opinion, Simon? The kings of the earth, of whom do they receive tribute or custom, of their own children, or of strangers? Mt. 17:25
So also shall my heavenly Father do to you, if you forgive not every one his brother from your hearts. Mt. 18:35
And behold one came and said to him: Good master, what good shall I do that I may have life everlasting? Mt. 19:16
He said to him: Which? And Jesus said: Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness. Mt. 19:18
But he answering said to one of them: friend, I do thee no wrong: didst thou not agree with me for a penny? Mt. 20:13
Or, is it not lawful for me to do what I will? Is thy eye evil, because I am good? Mt. 20:15
And Jesus stood and called them and said: What will ye that I do to you? Mt. 20:32
And Jesus answering, said to them: Amen, I say to you, if you shall have faith and stagger not, not only this of the fig tree shall you do, but also if you shall say to this mountain, Take up and cast thyself into the sea, it shall be done. Mt. 21:21
Jesus answering, said to them: I also will ask you one word, which if you shall tell me, I will also tell you by what authority I do these things. Mt. 21:24
And answering Jesus, they said: We know not. He also said to them: Neither do I tell you by what authority I do these things. Mt. 21:27
When therefore the lord of the vineyard shall come, what will he do to those husbandmen? Mt. 21:40
But Jesus knowing their wickedness, said: Why do you tempt me, ye hypocrites? Mt. 22:18
All things therefore whatsoever they shall say to you, observe and do: but according to their works do ye not. For they say, and do not. Mt. 23:3
And all their works they do for to be seen of men. For they make their phylacteries broad and enlarge their fringes. Mt. 23:5
But woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites, because you shut the kingdom of heaven against men: for you yourselves do not enter in and those that are going in, you suffer not to enter. Mt. 23:13
And he answering, said to them: Do you see all these things? Amen I say to you, there shall not be left here a stone upon a stone that shall not be destroyed. Mt. 24:2
Then if any man shall say to you, Lo here is Christ, or there: do not believe him. Mt. 24:23
Then he shall answer them, saying: Amen: I say to you, as long as you did it not to one of these least, neither did you do it to me. Mt. 25:45
And Jesus knowing it, said to them: Why do you trouble this woman? For she hath wrought a good work upon me. Mt. 26:10
And as he was sitting in the place of judgment, his wife sent to him, saying: Have thou nothing to do with that just man; for I have suffered many things this day in a dream because of him. Mt. 27:19
Pilate saith to them: What shall I do then with Jesus that is called Christ? They say all: Let him be crucified. Mt. 27:22
Saying: What have we to do with thee, Jesus of Nazareth? Art thou come to destroy us? I know who thou art, the Holy One of God. Mk. 1:24
And the disciples of John and the Pharisees used to fast. And they come and say to him: Why do the disciples of John and of the Pharisees fast; but thy disciples do not fast? Mk. 2:18
And the Pharisees said to him: Behold, why do they on the sabbath day that which is not lawful? Mk. 2:24
And he saith to them: Is it lawful to do good on the sabbath days, or to do evil? To save life, or to destroy? But they held their peace. Mk. 3:4
For whosoever shall do the will of God, he is my brother, and my sister, and mother. Mk. 3:35
And crying with a loud voice, he said: What have I to do with thee, Jesus the Son of the most high God? I adjure thee by God that thou torment me not. Mk. 5:7
And he could not do any miracles there, only that he cured a few that were sick, laying his hands upon them. Mk. 6:5

And the Pharisees and scribes asked him: Why do not thy disciples walk according to the tradition of the ancients, but they eat bread with common hands? Mk. 7:5

For leaving the commandment of God, you hold the tradition of men, the washing of pots and of cups: and many other things you do like to these. Mk. 7:8
And he said to them: Well do you make void the commandment of God, that you may keep your own tradition. Mk. 7:9
And further you suffer him not to do any thing for his father or mother, Mk. 7:12
Making void the word of God by your own tradition, which you have given forth. And many other such like things you do. Mk. 7:13
Which Jesus knowing, saith to them: Why do you reason, because you have no bread? Do you not yet know nor understand? Have you still your heart blinded? Mk. 8:17
Having eyes, see you not? And having ears, hear you not? Neither do you remember? Mk. 8:18
And he said to them: How do you not yet understand? Mk. 8:21
And Jesus went out, and his disciples into the towns of Caesarea Philippi. And in the way, he asked his disciples, saying to them: Whom do men say that I am? Mk. 8:27
Then he saith to them: But whom do you say that I am? Peter answering said to him: Thou art the Christ. Mk. 8:29
And they asked him, saying: Why then do the Pharisees and scribes say that Elias must come first? Mk. 9:11
And he asked them: What do you question about among you? Mk. 9:16
And oftentimes hath he cast him into the fire and into the waters to destroy him. But if thou canst do any thing, help us, having compassion on us. Mk. 9:22
And immediately the father of the boy crying out, with tears said: I do believe, Lord. Help my unbelief. Mk. 9:24
But Jesus said: Do not forbid him. For there is no man that doth a miracle in my name and can soon speak ill of me. Mk. 9:39
And when he was gone forth into the way, a certain man, running up and kneeling before him, asked him: Good Master, what shall I do that I may receive life everlasting? Mk. 10:17
Thou knowest the commandments: Do not commit adultery, do not kill, do not steal, bear not false witness, do no fraud, honour thy father and mother. Mk. 10:19
And James and John, the sons of Zebedee, come to him, saying: Master, we desire that whatsoever we shall ask, thou wouldst do it for us. Mk. 10:35
But he said to them: What would you that I should do for you? Mk. 10:36
And Jesus answering, said to him: What wilt thou that I should do to thee? And the blind man said to him: Rabboni. That I may see. Mk. 10:51
And some of them that stood there said to them: What do you loosing the colt? Mk. 11:5
And they say to him: By what authority dost thou these things? And who hath given thee this authority that thou shouldst do these things? Mk. 11:28
And Jesus answering, said to them: I will also ask you one word. And answer you me: and I will tell you by what authority I do these things. Mk. 11:29
And they answering, say to Jesus: We know not. And Jesus answering, saith to them: Neither do I tell you by what authority I do these things. Mk. 11:33
What therefore will the lord of the vineyard do? He will come and destroy those husbandmen and will give the vineyard to others. Mk. 12:9
And Jesus answering, saith to them: Do ye not therefore err, because you know not the scriptures nor the power of God? Mk. 12:24
He is not the God of the dead, but of the living. You therefore do greatly err. Mk. 12:27
And Jesus answering, said, teaching in the temple: How do the scribes say that Christ is the son of David? Mk. 12:35
And then if any man shall say to you: Lo, here is Christ. Lo, he is here: do not believe. Mk. 13:21
But Jesus said: Let her alone. Why do You molest her? She hath wrought a good work upon me. Mk. 14:6
For the poor you have always with you: and whensoever you will, you may do them good: but me you have not always. Mk. 14:7
And when the multitude was come up, they began to desire that he would do as he had ever done unto them. Mk. 15:8
And Pilate again answering, saith to them: What will you then that I do to the king of the Jews? Mk. 15:12
And he came by the Spirit into the temple. And when his parents brought in the child Jesus, to do for him according to the custom of the law, Lk. 2:27
Bring forth therefore fruits worthy of penance: and do not begin to say, We have Abraham for our father. For I say unto you that God is able of these stones, to raise up children to Abraham. Lk. 3:8

But the Pharisees and scribes murmured, saying to his disciples: Why do you eat and drink with publicans and sinners? Lk. 5:30
And they said to him: Why do the disciples of John fast often and make prayers, and the disciples of the Pharisees in like manner; but thine eat and drink? Lk. 5:33
And some of the Pharisees said to them: Why do you that which is not lawful on the sabbath days? Lk. 6:2
Then Jesus said to them: I ask you, if it be lawful on the sabbath days to do good or to do evil? To save life or to destroy? Lk. 6:9
And they were filled with madness: and they talked one with another, what they might do to Jesus. Lk. 6:11
But I say to you that hear: Love your enemies. Do good to them that hate you. Lk. 6:27
And as you would that men should do to you, do you also to them in like manner. Lk. 6:31
And if you do good to them who do good to you, what thanks are to you? For sinners also do this. Lk. 6:33
But love ye your enemies: do good, and lend, hoping for nothing thereby: and your reward shall be great, and you shall be the sons of the Highest. For he is kind to the unthankful and to the evil. Lk. 6:35
And he spoke also to them a similitude: Can the blind lead the blind? Do they not both fall into the ditch? Lk. 6:39
For every tree is known by its fruit. For men do not gather figs from thorns: nor from a bramble bush do they gather the grape. Lk. 6:44
And why call you me, Lord, Lord; and do not the things which I say? Lk. 6:46
And when they came to Jesus, they besought him earnestly, saying to him: He is worthy that thou shouldest do this for him. Lk. 7:4

But he said: He that shewed mercy to him. And Jesus said to him: Go, and do thou in like manner. Lk. 10:37
Now if I cast out devils by Beelzebub, by whom do your children cast them out? Therefore, they shall be your judges. Lk. 11:19
And I say to you, my friends: Be not afraid of them who kill the body and after that have no more that they can do. Lk. 12:4
And he thought within himself, saying: What shall I do, because I have no room where to bestow my fruits? Lk. 12:17
And he said: This will I do: I will pull down my barns and will build greater: and into them will I gather all things that are grown to me and my goods. Lk. 12:18
But God said to him: Thou fool, this night do they require thy soul of thee. And whose shall those things be which thou hast provided? Lk. 12:20
Consider the ravens, for they sow not, neither do they reap, neither have they storehouse nor barn, and God feedeth them. How much are you more valuable than they? Lk. 12:24
If then ye be not able to do so much as the least thing, why are you solicitous for the rest? Lk. 12:26
Consider the lilies, how they grow: they labour not, neither do they spin. But I say to you, not even Solomon in all his glory was clothed like one of these. Lk. 12:27
For all these things do the nations of the world seek. But your Father knoweth that you have need of these things. Lk. 12:30
You hypocrites, you know how to discern the face of the heaven and of the earth: but how is it that you do not discern this time? Lk. 12:56
And why, even of yourselves, do you not judge that which is just? Lk. 12:57
No, I say to you: but unless you shall do penance, you shall all likewise perish. Lk. 13:3
No, I say to you: but except you do penance, you shall all likewise perish. Lk. 13:5
And he said to them: Go and tell that fox: Behold, I cast out devils and do cures, to-day and to-morrow, and the third day I am consummated. Lk. 13:32
And he answering, said to his father: Behold, for so many years do I serve thee and I have never transgressed thy commandment: and yet thou hast never given me a kid to make merry with my friends. Lk. 15:29
And the steward said within himself: What shall I do, because my lord taketh away from me the stewardship? To dig I am not able; to beg I am ashamed. Lk. 16:3
I know what I will do, that when I shall be removed from the stewardship, they may receive me into their houses. Lk. 16:4
But he said: No, father Abraham: but if one went to them from the dead, they will do penance. Lk. 16:30
Take heed to yourselves. If thy brother sin against thee, reprove him: and if he do penance, forgive him. Lk. 17:3
So you also, when you shall have done all these things that are commanded you, say: We are unprofitable servants; we have done that which we ought to do. Lk. 17:10
And a certain ruler asked him, saying: Good master, what shall I do to possess everlasting life? Lk. 18:18
Saying; What wilt thou that I do to thee? But he said: Lord, that I may see. Lk. 18:41
And if any man shall ask you: Why do you loose him? You shall say thus unto him: Because the Lord hath need of his service. Lk. 19:31
And they found not what to do to him: for all the people were very attentive to hear him. Lk. 19:48
And Jesus said to them: Neither do I tell you by what authority I do these things. Lk. 20:8
Then the lord of the vineyard said: What shall I do? I will send my beloved son. It may be, when they see him, they will reverence him. Lk. 20:13
So casting him out of the vineyard, they killed him. What therefore will the lord of the vineyard do to them? Lk. 20:15
And taking bread, he gave thanks and brake and gave to them, saying: This is my body, which is given for you. Do this for a commemoration of me. Lk. 22:19
And they began to inquire among themselves, which of them it was that should do this thing. Lk. 22:23
For if in the green wood they do these things, what shall be done in the dry? Lk. 23:31
And Jesus said: Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do. But they, dividing his garments, cast lots. Lk. 23:34
And he said to them: Why are you troubled, and why do thoughts arise in your hearts? Lk. 24:38
His mother saith to the waiters: Whatsoever he shall say to you, do ye. Jn. 2:5
This man came to Jesus by night and said to him: Rabbi, we know that thou art come a teacher from God; for no man can do these signs which thou dost, unless God be with him. Jn. 3:2
You yourselves do bear me witness that I said I am not Christ, but that I am sent before him. Jn. 3:28
Then that Samaritan woman saith to him: How dost thou, being a Jew; ask of me to drink, who am a Samaritan woman? For the Jews do not communicate with the Samaritans. Jn. 4:9
Jesus saith to them: My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, that I may perfect his work. Jn. 4:34
Do not you say: There are yet four months, and then the harvest cometh? Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes, and see the countries. For they are white already to harvest. Jn. 4:35
Then Jesus answered and said to them: Amen, amen, I say unto you, the Son cannot do any thing of himself, but what he seeth the Father doing: for what things soever he doth, these the Son also doth in like manner. Jn. 5:19
And he hath given him power to do judgment, because he is the Son of man. Jn. 5:27
I cannot of myself do any thing. As I hear, so I judge. And my judgment is just: because I seek not my own will, but the will of him that sent me. Jn. 5:30
But I have a greater testimony than that of John: for the works which the Father hath given me to perfect, the works themselves which I do, give testimony of me, that the Father hath sent me. Jn. 5:36
How can you believe, who receive glory one from another: and the glory which is from God alone, you do not seek? Jn. 5:44
But if you do not believe his writings, how will you believe my words? Jn. 5:47
And this he said to try him: for he himself knew what he would do. Jn. 6:6
They said therefore unto him: What shall we do, that we may work the works of God? Jn. 6:28
Because I came down from heaven, not to do my own will but the will of him that sent me. Jn. 6:38
For there is no man that doth any thing in secret, and he himself seeketh to be known openly. If thou do these things, manifest thyself to the world. Jn. 7:4
If any man will do the will of him, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself. Jn. 7:17
But of the people many believed in him and said: When the Christ cometh, shall he do more miracles than these which this man doth? Jn. 7:31
And if I do judge, my judgment is true: because I am not alone, but I and the Father that sent me. Jn. 8:16
They said therefore to him: Where is thy Father? Jesus answered: Neither me do you know, nor my Father. If you did know me, perhaps you would know my Father also. Jn. 8:19
Jesus therefore said to them: When you shall have lifted up, the Son of man, then shall you know that I am he and that I do nothing of myself. But as the Father hath taught me, these things I speak. Jn. 8:28
And he that sent me is with me: and he hath not left me alone. For I do always the things that please him. Jn. 8:29
I speak that which I have seen with my Father: and you do the things that you have seen with your father. Jn. 8:38
They answered and said to him: Abraham is our father. Jesus saith to them: If you be the children of Abraham, do the works of Abraham. Jn. 8:39
You do the works of your father. They said therefore to him: We are not born of fornication: we have one Father, even God. Jn. 8:41
Why do you not know my speech? Because you cannot hear my word. Jn. 8:43
You are of your father the devil: and the desires of your father you will do. He was a murderer from the beginning: and he stood not in the truth, because truth is not in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father thereof. Jn. 8:44
Which of you shall convince me of sin? If I say the truth to you, why do you not believe me: Jn. 8:46
The Jews therefore answered and said to him: Do not we say well that thou art a Samaritan and hast a devil? Jn. 8:48
And you have not known him: but I know him. And if I shall say that I know him not, I shall be like to you, a liar. But I do know him and do keep his word. Jn. 8:55
Some therefore of the Pharisees said: This man is not of God, who keepeth not the sabbath. But others said: How can a man that is a sinner do such miracles? And there was a division among them. Jn. 9:16
Unless this man were of God, he could not do anything. Jn. 9:33
Jesus answered them: I speak to you, and you believe not: the works that I do in the name of my Father, they give testimony of me. Jn. 10:25
But you do not believe, because you are not of my sheep. Jn. 10:26
Jesus answered them: Many good works I have shewed you from my Father. For which of those works do you stone me? Jn. 10:32
Do you say of him whom the Father hath sanctified and sent into the world: Thou blasphemest; because I said: I am the Son of God? Jn. 10:36
If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not. Jn. 10:37
But if I do, though you will not believe me, believe the works: that you may know and believe that the Father is in me and I in the Father. Jn. 10:38
His disciples therefore said: Lord, if he sleep, he shall do well. Jn. 11:12
The chief priests, therefore, and the Pharisees gathered a council and said: What do we, for this man doth many miracles? Jn. 11:47
Neither do you consider that it is expedient for you that one man should die for the people and that the whole nation perish not. Jn. 11:50
The Pharisees therefore said among themselves: Do you see that we prevail nothing? Behold, the whole world is gone after him. Jn. 12:19
And if any man hear my words and keep them not, I do not judge him for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world. Jn. 12:47
And I know that his commandment is life everlasting. The things therefore that I speak, even as the Father said unto me, so do I speak. Jn. 12:50
Jesus answered and said to him: What I do, thou knowest not now; but thou shalt know hereafter. Jn. 13:7
For I have given you an example, that as I have done to you, so you do also. Jn. 13:15
If you know these things, you shall be blessed if you do them. Jn. 13:17
And after the morsel, Satan entered into him. And Jesus said to him: That which thou dost, do quickly. Jn. 13:27
Do you not believe that I am in the Father and the Father in me? The words that I speak to you, I speak not of myself. But the Father who abideth in me, he doth the works. Jn. 14:10
Amen, amen, I say to you, he that believeth in me, the works that I do, he also shall do: and greater than these shall he do. Because I go to the Father: Jn. 14:12
And whatsoever you shall ask the Father in my name, that will I do: that the Father may be glorified in the Son. Jn. 14:13
If you shall ask me any thing in my name, that I will do. Jn. 14:14
Peace I leave with you: my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, do I give unto you. Let not your heart be troubled: nor let it be afraid. Jn. 14:27
But that the world may know that I love the Father: and as the Father hath given me commandment, so do I. Arise, let us go hence. Jn. 14:31
I am the vine: you the branches. He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same beareth much fruit: for without me you can do nothing. Jn. 15:5
If you keep my commandments, you shall abide in my love: as I also have kept my Father's commandments and do abide in his love. Jn. 15:10
You are my friends, if you do the things that I command you. Jn. 15:14
But all these things they will do to you for my name's sake: because they know not him that sent me. Jn. 15:21
And these things will they do to you; because they have not known the Father nor me. Jn. 16:3

Do we then, destroy the law through faith? God forbid! But we establish the law. Rom. 3:31

What shall we say, then? Is the law sin? God forbid! But I do not know sin, but by the law. For I had not known concupiscence, if the law did not say: Thou shalt not covet. Rom. 7:7
For that which I work, I understand not. For I do not that good which I will: but the evil which I hate, that I do. Rom. 7:15
If then I do that which I will not, I consent to the law, that it is good. Rom. 7:16
Now then it is no more I that do it: but sin that dwelleth in me. Rom. 7:17
For the good which I will, I do not: but the evil which I will not, that I do. Rom. 7:19
Now if I do that which I will not, it is no more I that do it: but sin that dwelleth in me. Rom. 7:20
I find then a law, that when I have a will to do good, evil is present with me. Rom. 7:21
For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God, sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and of sin, hath condemned sin in the flesh. Rom. 8:3
For Moses wrote that the justice which is of the law: The man that shall do it shall live by it. Rom. 10:5
But all do not obey the gospel. For Isaias saith: Lord, who hath believed our report? Rom. 10:16
For princes are not a terror to the good work, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? Do that which is good: and thou shalt have praise from the same. Rom. 13:3
For he is God's minister to thee, for good. But if thou do that which is evil, fear: for he beareth not the sword in vain. For he is God's minister: an avenger to execute wrath upon him that doth evil. Rom. 13:4
But to me it is a very small thing to be judged by you or by man's day. But neither do I judge my own self. 1 Cor. 4:3
For what have I to do to judge them that are without? Do not you judge them that are within? 1 Cor. 5:12
Already indeed there is plainly a fault among you, that you have law suits one with another. Why do you not rather take wrong? Why do you not rather suffer yourselves to be defrauded? 1 Cor. 6:7
But you do wrong and defraud: and that to your brethren. 1 Cor. 6:8
Know you not that the unjust shall not possess the kingdom of God? Do not err: Neither fornicators nor idolaters nor adulterers: Nor the effeminate nor liers with mankind, 1 Cor. 6:9
But if they do not contain themselves, let them marry. For it is better to marry than to be burnt. 1 Cor. 7:9
But if any man think that he seemeth dishonoured with regard to his virgin, for that she is above the age, and it must so be: let him do what he will. He sinneth not if she marry. 1 Cor. 7:36
My defence with them that do examine me is this. 1 Cor. 9:3
Or I only and Barnabas, have not we power to do this? 1 Cor. 9:6
For if I do this thing willingly, I have a reward: but if against my will, a dispensation is committed to me. 1 Cor. 9:17

Neither do you murmur, as some of them murmured and were destroyed by the destroyer. 1 Cor. 10:10
What then? Do I say that what is offered in sacrifice to idols is any thing? Or that the idol is any thing? 1 Cor. 10:19
Do we provoke the Lord to jealousy? Are we stronger than he? 1 Cor. 10:22
All things are lawful for me: but all things are not expedient. All things are lawful for me: but all things do not edify. 1 Cor. 10:23
But if any man say: This has been sacrificed to idols: do not eat of it, for his sake that told it and for conscience' sake. 1 Cor. 10:28
Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatsoever else you do, do all to the glory of God. 1 Cor. 10:31
What, have you not houses to eat and to drink in? Or despise ye the church of God and put them to shame that have not? What shall I say to you? Do I praise you? In this I praise you not. 1 Cor. 11:22
And giving thanks, broke and said: Take ye and eat: This is my body, which shall be delivered for you. This do for the commemoration of me. 1 Cor. 11:24
In like manner also the chalice, after he had supped, saying: This chalice is the new testament in my blood. This do ye, as often as you shall drink, for the commemoration of me. 1 Cor. 11:25
Have all the grace of healing? Do all speak with tongues? Do all interpret? 1 Cor. 12:30
Brethren, do not become children in sense. But in malice be children: and in sense be perfect. 1 Cor. 14:20
Now if Christ be preached, that he arose again from the dead, how do some among you say that there is no resurrection of the dead? 1 Cor. 15:12
Otherwise, what shall they do that are baptized for the dead, if the dead rise not again at all? Why are they then baptized for them? 1 Cor. 15:29
But some man will say: How do the dead rise again? Or with what manner of body shall they come? 1 Cor. 15:35
¤ Now concerning the collections that are made for the saints: as I have given order to the churches of Galatia, so do ye also. 1 Cor. 16:1
Now if Timothy come, see that he be with you without fear: for he worketh the work of the Lord, as I also do. 1 Cor. 16:10
Watch ye: stand fast in the faith: do manfully and be strengthened. 1 Cor. 16:13
Whereas then I was thus minded, did I use lightness? Or, the things that I purpose, do I purpose according to the flesh, that there should be with me, It is, and It is not? 2 Cor. 1:17
¤ Do we begin again to commend ourselves? Or do we need (as some do) epistles of commendation to you, or from you? 2 Cor. 3:1
For we also, who are in this tabernacle, do groan, being burthened; because we would not be unclothed, but clothed upon, that that which is mortal may be swallowed up by life. 2 Cor. 5:4
¤ And we helping do exhort you that you receive not the grace of God in vain. 2 Cor. 6:1
For although I made you sorrowful by my epistle, I do not repent. And if I did repent, seeing that the same epistle (although but for a time) did make you sorrowful, 2 Cor. 7:8
And herein I give my advice: for this is profitable for you who have begun not only to do but also to be willing, a year ago. 2 Cor. 8:10

For as many as are of the works of the law are under a curse. For it is written: Cursed is every one that abideth, not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them. Gal. 3:10
And I testify again to every man circumcising himself that he is a debtor to do the whole law. Gal. 5:3
And I, brethren, if I yet preach circumcision, why do I yet suffer persecution? Then is the scandal of the cross made void. Gal. 5:11
For the flesh lusteth against the spirit: and the spirit against the flesh: For these are contrary one to another: so that you do not the things that you would. Gal. 5:17
Envies, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like. Of the which I foretell you, as I have foretold to you, that they who do such things shall not obtain the kingdom of God. Gal. 5:21
Now to him who is able to do all things more abundantly than we desire or understand, according to the power that worketh in us: Eph. 3:20

But without thy counsel I would do nothing: that thy good deed might not be as it were of necessity, but voluntary. Ph'm 1:14

Do not therefore lose your confidence which hath a great reward. Heb. 10:35
For they that say these things do signify that they seek a country. Heb. 11:14
Looking diligently, lest any man be wanting to the grace of God: lest any root of bitterness springing up do hinder and by it many be defiled: Heb. 12:15
And hospitality do not forget: for by this some, being not aware of it, have entertained angels. Heb. 13:2
So that we may confidently say: The Lord is my helper: I will not fear what man shall do to me. Heb. 13:6
And do not forget to do good and to impart: for by such sacrifices God's favour is obtained. Heb. 13:16
Obey your prelates and be subject to them. For they watch as being to render an account of your souls: that they may do this with joy and not with grief. For this is not expedient for you. Heb. 13:17
And I beseech you the more to do this, that I may be restored to you the sooner. Heb. 13:19
Fit you in all goodness, that you may do his will; doing in you that which is well pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom is glory for ever and ever. Amen. Heb. 13:21
Do not err, therefore, my dearest brethren. Jas. 1:16
Do you not judge within yourselves, and are become judges of unjust thoughts? Jas. 2:4
But you have dishonoured the poor man. Do not the rich oppress you by might? And do not they draw you before the judgment seats? Jas. 2:6
Do not they blaspheme the good name that is invoked upon you? Jas. 2:7
If then you fulfil the royal law, according to the scriptures: Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself; you do well. Jas. 2:8
For he that said: Thou shalt not commit adultery, said also: Thou shalt not kill. Now if thou do not commit adultery, but shalt kill, thou art become a transgressor of the law. Jas. 2:11
So speak ye and so do, as being to be judged by the law of liberty. Jas. 2:12
Do you see that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only? Jas. 2:24
Or do you think that the scripture saith in vain: To envy doth the spirit covet which dwelleth in you? Jas. 4:5
For that you should say: If the Lord will, and, If we shall live, we will do this or that. Jas. 4:15
To him therefore who knoweth to do good and doth it not, to him it is sin. Jas. 4:17
And a stone of stumbling and a rock of scandal, to them who stumble at the word, neither do believe, whereunto also they are set. 1 Pet. 2:8
Let him decline from evil and do good: Let him seek after peace and pursue it: 1 Pet. 3:11
Because the eyes of the Lord are upon the just, and his ears unto their prayers but the countenance of the Lord upon them that do evil things. 1 Pet. 3:12
If any man speak, let him speak, as the words of God. If any man minister, let him do it, as of the power which God administereth: that in all things God may be honoured through Jesus Christ: to whom is glory and empire for ever and ever. Amen. 1 Pet. 4:11
In like manner, ye young men, be subject to the ancients. And do you all insinuate humility one to another: for God resisteth the proud, but to the humble he giveth grace. 1 Pet. 5:5
And we have the more firm prophetical word: whereunto you do well to attend, as to a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn and the day star arise in your hearts. 2 Pet. 1:19
As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are certain things hard to be understood, which the unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, to their own destruction. 2 Pet. 3:16
For the life was manifested: and we have seen and do bear witness and declare unto you the life eternal, which was with the Father and hath appeared to us. 1 Jn. 1:2
If we say that we have fellowship with him and walk in darkness, we lie and do not the truth. 1 Jn. 1:6
Dearly beloved, if our heart do not reprehend us, we have confidence towards God. 1 Jn. 3:21

And the rest of the men, who were not slain by these plagues, did not do penance from the works of their hands, that they should not adore devils and idols of gold and silver and brass and stone and wood, which neither can see nor hear nor walk: Apoc. 9:20
And there was given to him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies: and power was given to him to do, two and forty months. Apoc. 13:5
