- All the flocks shall go with us; there shall not a hoof remain of them: for they are necessary for the service of the Lord our God: especially as we know not what must be offered, till we come to the very place. Ex. 10:26
- Whatsoever hath the hoof divided, and cheweth the cud among the beasts, you shall eat. Lev. 11:3
- But whatsoever cheweth indeed the cud, and hath a hoof, but divideth it not, as the camel, and others: that you shall not eat, but shall reckon it among the unclean. Lev. 11:4
