And when he had heard of Jesus, he sent unto him the ancients of the Jews, desiring him to come and heal his servant. Lk. 7:3
Saying: The Son of man must suffer many things and be rejected by the ancients and chief priests and scribes and be killed and the third day rise again. Lk. 9:22
¤ And it came to pass that on one of the days, as he was teaching the people in the temple and preaching the gospel, the chief priests and the scribes, with the ancients, met together, Lk. 20:1
