And when Eliseus, the man of God, had heard this, to wit, that the king of Israel had rent his garments, he sent to him, saying: Why hast thou rent thy garments? let him come to me, and let him know that there is a prophet in Israel. 4 Ki. 5:8

That thy children, O Lord, whom thou lovedst, might know that it is not the growing of fruits that nourisheth men, but thy word preserveth them that believe in thee. Wis. 16:26
For the visions that troubled them foreshewed these things, lest they should perish, and not know why they suffered these evils. Wis. 18:19

The Lord hath given me a learned tongue, that I should know how to uphold by word him that is weary: he wakeneth in the morning, in the morning he wakeneth my ear, that I may hear him as a master. Isa. 50:4
The Lord God is my helper, therefore am I not confounded: therefore have I set my face as a most hard rock, and I know that I shall not be confounded. Isa. 50:7
Hearken to me, you that know what is just, my people who have my law in your heart: fear ye not the reproach of men, and be not afraid of their blasphemies. Isa. 51:7
Therefore my people shall know my name in that day: for I myself that spoke, behold I am here. Isa. 52:6

And Daniel made answer before the king, and said: The secret that the king desireth to know, none of the wise men, or the philosophers, or the diviners, or the soothsayers, can declare to the king. Dan. 2:27
To me also this secret is revealed, not by any wisdom that I have more than all men alive: but that the interpretation might be made manifest to the king, and thou mightest know the thoughts of thy mind. Dan. 2:30
And let them know that thou art the Lord, the only God, and glorious over all the world. Dan. A:22
Baltassar, prince of the diviners, because I know that thou hast in thee the spirit of the holy gods, and that no secret is impossible to thee, tell me the visions of my dreams that I have seen, and the interpretation of them? Dan. 4:9

And if any man think that he knoweth any thing, he hath not yet known as he ought to know. 1 Cor. 8:2
But as for the meats that are sacrificed to idols, we know that an idol is nothing in the world and that there is no God but one. 1 Cor. 8:4
