And Thare took Abram his son, and Lot the son of Aran, his son's son, and Sarai his daughter in law, the wife of Abram his son, and brought them out of Ur of the Chaldees, to go into the land of Chanaan: and they came as far as Haran, and dwelt there. Gen. 11:31
And they said to Lot: Hast thou here any of thine? son in law, or sons, or daughters, all that are thine bring them out of this city: Gen. 19:12

Remember the law of Moses my servant, which I commanded him in Horeb for all Israel, the precepts, and judgments. Mal. 4:4

For not through the law was the promise to Abraham or to his seed, that he should be heir of the world: but through the justice of faith. Rom. 4:13
For if they who are of the law be heirs, faith is made void: the promise is made of no effect. Rom. 4:14
For the law worketh wrath. For where there is no law, neither is there transgression. Rom. 4:15
Therefore is it of faith, that according to grace the promise might be firm to all the seed: not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all, Rom. 4:16

Therefore, my brethren, you also are become dead to the law, by the body of Christ: that you may belong to another, who is risen again from the dead that we may bring forth fruit to God. Rom. 7:4
For when we were in the flesh, the passions of sins, which were by the law, did work in our members, to bring forth fruit unto death. Rom. 7:5
But now we are loosed from the law of death wherein we were detained; so that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter. Rom. 7:6
What shall we say, then? Is the law sin? God forbid! But I do not know sin, but by the law. For I had not known concupiscence, if the law did not say: Thou shalt not covet. Rom. 7:7
But sin, taking occasion by the commandment, wrought in me all manner of concupiscence. For without the law sin was dead. Rom. 7:8
And I lived some time without the law. But when the commandment came, sin revived, and I died. Rom. 7:9
Wherefore the law indeed is holy: and the commandment holy and just and good. Rom. 7:12
For we know that the law is spiritual. But I am carnal, sold under sin. Rom. 7:14

Because the wisdom of the flesh is an enemy to God. For it is not subject to the law of God: neither can it be. Rom. 8:7

But Israel, by following after the law of justice, is not come unto the law of justice. Rom. 9:31

Now this I say: that the testament which was confirmed by God, the law which was made after four hundred and thirty years doth not disannul, to make the promise of no effect. Gal. 3:17
For if the inheritance be of the law, it is no more of promise. But God gave it to Abraham by promise. Gal. 3:18

But we know that the law is good, if a man use it lawfully. 1 Tim. 1:8
Knowing this: That the law is not made for the just man but for the unjust and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for the wicked and defiled, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, 1 Tim. 1:9
But avoid foolish questions and genealogies and contentions and strivings about the law. For they are unprofitable and vain. Tit. 3:9
And indeed they that are of the sons of Levi, who receive the priesthood, have a commandment to take tithes of the people according to the law, that is to say, of their brethren: though they themselves also came out of the loins of Abraham. Heb. 7:5
If then perfection was by the Levitical priesthood (for under it the people received the law), what further need was there that another priest should rise according to the order of Melchisedech: and not be called according to the order of Aaron? Heb. 7:11
For the priesthood being translated, it is necessary that a translation also be made of the law, Heb. 7:12
Who is made, not according to the law of a carnal commandment, but according to the power of an indissoluble life. Heb. 7:16

¤ For the law, having a shadow of the good things to come, not the very image of the things, by the selfsame sacrifices which they offer continually every year, can never make the comers thereunto perfect. Heb. 10:1
In saying before, Sacrifices, and oblations, and holocausts for sin thou wouldest not, neither are they pleasing to thee, which are offered according to the law. Heb. 10:8

that they may visite those thinges which are done touching Iurie and Ierusalem, obseruing as thou hast in the law of the Lord. 3 Esd. 8:13
