And if the people of the land neglecting, and as it were little regarding my commandment, let alone the man that hath given of his seed to Moloch, and will not kill him: Lev. 20:4

And Samuel said to the people: Come, and let us go to Galgal, and let us renew the kingdom there. 1 Ki. 11:14
And Jonathan smote the garrison of the Philistines which was in Gabaa. And when the Philistines had heard of it, Saul sounded the trumpet over all the land, saying: Let the Hebrews hear. 1 Ki. 13:3
¤ Now it came to pass one day that Jonathan, the son of Saul, said to the young man that bore his armour: Come, and let us go over to the garrison of the Philistines, which is on the other side of yonder place. But he told not this to his father. 1 Ki. 14:1
And Jonathan said to the young man that bore his armour: Come, let us go over to the garrison of these uncircumcised, it may be the Lord will do for us: because it is easy for the Lord to save either by many, or by few. 1 Ki. 14:6
If they shall speak thus to us: Stay till we come to you: let us stand still in our place, and not go up to them. 1 Ki. 14:9
But if they shall say: Come up to us: let us go up, because the Lord hath delivered them into our hands, this shall be a sign unto us. 1 Ki. 14:10
And the men of the garrison spoke to Jonathan, and to his armourbearer, and said: Come up to us, and we will shew you a thing. And Jonathan said to his armourbearer: Let us go up, follow me: for the Lord hath delivered them into the hands of Israel. 1 Ki. 14:12
And Saul said: Let us fall upon the Philistines by night, and destroy them till the morning light, and let us not leave a man of them. And the people said: Do all that seemeth good in thy eyes. And the priest said: Let us draw near hither unto God. 1 Ki. 14:36
Let our lord give orders, and thy servants who are before thee, will seek out a man skilful in playing on the harp, that when the evil spirit from the Lord is upon thee, he may play with his hand, and thou mayst bear it more easily. 1 Ki. 16:16
And Saul sent to Isai, saying: Let David stand before me: for he hath found favour in my sight. 1 Ki. 16:22
And standing, he cried out to the bands of Israel, and said to them: Why are you come out prepared to fight? am not I a Philistine, and you the servants of Saul? Choose out a man of you, and let him come down and fight hand to hand. 1 Ki. 17:8
And the Philistine said: I have defied the bands of Israel this day: give me a man, and let him fight with me hand to hand. 1 Ki. 17:10

And Saul said to Michol: Why hast thou deceived me so, and let my enemy go and flee away? And Michol answered Saul: Because he said to me: Let me go, or else I will kill thee. 1 Ki. 19:17
And he swore again to David. And David said: Thy father certainly knoweth that I have found grace in thy sight, and he will say: Let not Jonathan know this, lest he be grieved. But truly as the Lord liveth, and thy soul liveth, there is but one step (as I may say) between me and death. 1 Ki. 20:3
And David said to Jonathan: Behold to morrow is the new moon, and I, according to custom, am wont to sit beside the king to eat: let me go then that I may be hid in the field till the evening of the third day. 1 Ki. 20:5

And Ezechias said: It is an easy matter for the shadow to go forward ten lines: and I do not desire that this be done, but let it return back ten degrees. 4 Ki. 20:10
Ezechias said to Isaias: The word of the Lord, which thou hast spoken, is good: let peace and truth be in my days. 4 Ki. 20:19
And let it be given to the workmen by the overseers of the house of the Lord: and let them distribute it to those that work in the temple of the Lord, to repair the temple: 4 Ki. 22:5

Now therefore, O Lord, let the word which thou hast spoken to thy servant, and concerning his house, be established for ever, and do as thou hast said. 1 Par. 17:23
And let thy name remain and be magnified for ever: and let it be said: The Lord of hosts is God of Israel, and the house of David his servant remaineth before him. 1 Par. 17:24
Be of good courage and let us behave ourselves manfully for our people, and for the cities of our God: and the Lord will do that which is good in his sight. 1 Par. 19:13

But forasmuch as the Lord is patient, let us be penitent for this same thing, and with many tears let us beg his pardon: Jud. 8:14
And therefore let us humble our souls before him, and continuing in an humble spirit, in his service: Jud. 8:16
Let us ask the Lord with tears, that according to his will so he would shew his mercy to us: that as our heart is troubled by their pride, so also we may glorify in our humility. Jud. 8:17
Let us humbly wait for his consolation, and the Lord our God will require our blood of the afflictions of our enemies, and he will humble all the nations that shall rise up against us, and bring them to disgrace. Jud. 8:20
As for us therefore let us not revenge ourselves for these things which we suffer. Jud. 8:26
But esteeming these very punishments to be less than our sins deserve, let us believe that these scourges of the Lord, with which like servants we are chastised, have happened for our amendment, and not for our destruction. Jud. 8:27
But I desire that you search not into what I am doing, and till I bring you word let nothing else be done but to pray for me to the Lord our God. Jud. 8:33

Let us examine him by outrages and tortures, that we may know his meekness, and try his patience. Wis. 2:19

With whose beauty, if they, being delighted, took them to be gods: let them know how much the Lord of them is more beautiful than they: for the first author of beauty made all those things. Wis. 13:3

According to the blessing of Aaron over thy people, and direct us into the way of justice, and let all know that dwell upon the earth, that thou art God the beholder of all ages. Sir. 36:19
In all thy works let the true word go before thee, and steady counsel before every action. Sir. 37:20

And let not Ezechias make you trust in the Lord, saying: The Lord will surely deliver us, and this city shall not be given into the hands of the king of the Assyrians. Isa. 36:15
Neither let Ezechias trouble you, saying: The Lord will deliver us. Have any of the gods of the nations delivered their land out of the hand of the king of the Assyrians? Isa. 36:18
Thus shall you speak to Ezechias the king of Juda, saying: Let not thy God deceive thee, in whom thou trustest, saying: Jerusalem shall not be given into the hands of the king of the Assyrians. Isa. 37:10

But thou, O Lord, knowest all their counsel against me unto death: forgive not their iniquity, and let not their sin be blotted out from thy sight: let them be overthrown before thy eyes, in the time of thy wrath do thou destroy them. Jer. 18:23
For I heard the reproaches of many, and terror on every side: Persecute him, and let us persecute him: from all the men that were my familiars, and continued at my side: if by any means he may be deceived, and we may prevail against him, and be revenged on him. Jer. 20:10

But when Nabuchodonosor king of Babylon came up to our land, we said: Come, let us go into Jerusalem from the face of the army of the Chaldeans, and from the face of the army of Syria: and we have remained in Jerusalem. Jer. 35:11
And the princes said to Baruch: Go, and hide thee, both thou and Jeremias, and let no man know where you are. Jer. 36:19
Now therefore hear, I beseech thee, my lord the king: let my petition be accepted in thy sight: and send me not back into the house of Jonathan the scribe, lest I die there. Jer. 37:20
Then they took Jeremias and cast him into the dungeon of Melchias the son of Amelech, which was in the entry of the prison: and they let down Jeremias by ropes into the dungeon, wherein there was no water, but mire. And Jeremias sunk into the mire. Jer. 38:6
So Abdemelech taking the men with him, went into the king's house that was under the storehouse: and he took from thence old rags, and old rotten things, and he let them down by cords to Jeremias into the dungeon. Jer. 38:11
Then Sedecias said to Jeremias: Let no man know these words, and thou shalt not die. Jer. 38:24
¤ The word that came to Jeremias from the Lord, after that Nabuzardan the general had let him go from Rama, when he had taken him, being bound with chains, among all them that were carried away from Jerusalem and Juda, and were carried to Babylon. Jer. 40:1
And come not with me: but dwell with Godolias the son of Ahicam the son of Saphan, whom the king of Babylon hath made governor over the cities of Juda: dwell therefore with him in the midst of the people: or whithersoever it shall please thee to go, go. And the general of the army gave him victuals and presents, and let him go. Jer. 40:5
And they said to Jeremias the prophet: Let our supplication fall before thee: and pray thou for us to the Lord thy God for all this remnant, for we are left but a few of many, as thy eyes do behold us. Jer. 42:2
And let the Lord thy God shew us the way by which we may walk, and the thing that we must do. Jer. 42:3
Thus saith the Lord of hosts the God of Israel, saying: You and your wives have spoken with your mouth, and fulfilled with your hands, saying: Let us perform our vows which we have made, to offer sacrifice to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings to her: you have fulfilled your vows, and have performed them indeed. Let not the swift flee away, nor the strong think to escape: they are overthrown, and fallen down, towards the north by the river Euphrates. Jer. 46:6
Get ye up on horses, and glory in chariots, and let the valiant men come forth, the Ethiopians, and the Libyans that hold the shield, and the Lydians that take, and shoot arrows. Jer. 46:9
Declare ye to Egypt, and publish it in Magdal, and let it be known in Memphis, and in Taphnis: say ye: Stand up, and prepare thyself: for the sword shall devour all round about thee. Jer. 46:14
He hath multiplied them that fall, and one hath fallen upon another, and they shall say: Arise, and let us return to our own people, and to the land of our nativity, from the sword of the dove. Jer. 46:16
There is no more rejoicing in Moab over Hesebon: they have devised evil. Come, and let us cut it off from being a nation. Therefore shalt thou in silence hold thy peace, and the sword shall follow thee. Jer. 48:2
I have heard a rumour from the Lord, and an ambassador is sent to the nations: Gather yourselves together, and come against her, and let us rise up to battle. Jer. 49:14
Come ye against her from the uttermost borders: open that they may go forth that shall tread her down: take the stones out of the way, and make heaps, and destroy her: and let nothing of her be left. Jer. 50:26

Declare to many against Babylon, to all that bend the bow: stand together against her round about, and let none escape; pay her according to her work: according to all that she hath done, do ye to her: for she hath lifted up herself against the Lord, against the Holy One of Israel. Jer. 50:29
Thus saith the Lord of hosts: The children of Israel, and the children of Juda are oppressed together: all that have taken them captives, hold them fast, they will not let them go. Jer. 50:33
Let not him that bendeth, bend his bow, and let not him go up that is armed with a coat of mail: spare not her young men, destroy all her army. Jer. 51:3
Flee ye from the midst of Babylon, and let every one save his own life: be not silent upon her iniquity: for it is the time of revenge from the Lord, he will render unto her what she hath deserved. Jer. 51:6

Because a greater spirit, and knowledge, and understanding, and interpretation of dreams, and shewing of secrets, and resolving of difficult things, were found in him, that is, in Daniel: whom the king named Baltassar. Now, therefore, let Daniel be called for, and he will tell the interpretation. Dan. 5:12
Then the king said: Let all the inhabitants of the whole earth fear the God of Daniel: for he is the Saviour, working signs, and wonders in the earth: who hath delivered Daniel out of the lions' den. Dan. 14:42

Here then we will begin the narration: let this be enough by way of a preface: for it is a foolish thing to make a long prologue, and to be short in the story itself. 2 Ma. 2:33

Now they that were with Simon, being led with covetousness, were persuaded for the sake of money by some that were in the towers: and taking seventy thousand didrachmas, let some of them escape. 2 Ma. 10:20
But when it was told Machabeus what was done, he assembled the rulers of the people, and accused those men that they had sold their brethren for money, having let their adversaries escape. 2 Ma. 10:21
And Timotheus himself fell into the hands of the band of Dositheus and Sosipater, and with many prayers he besought them to let him go with his life, because he had the parents and brethren of many of the Jews, who, by his death, might happen to be deceived. 2 Ma. 12:24

Or how canst thou say to thy brother: Brother, let me pull the mote out of thy eye, when thou thyself seest not the beam in thy own eye? Hypocrite, cast first the beam out of thy own eye: and then shalt thou see clearly to take out the mote from thy brother's eye. Lk. 6:42
And other some fell upon good ground and, being sprung up, yielded fruit a hundredfold. Saying these things, he cried out: He that hath ears to hear, let him hear. Lk. 8:8

But if Demetrius and the craftsmen that are with him have a matter against any man, the courts of justice are open: and there are proconsuls. Let them accuse one another. Acts 19:38

See the things that are according to outward appearance. If any man trust to himself, that he is Christ's let him think this again with himself, that as he is Christ's, so are we also. 2 Cor. 10:7
Let such a one think this, that such as we are in word by epistles when absent, such also we will be indeed when present. 2 Cor. 10:11

But they that have believing masters, let them not despise them, because they are brethren; but serve them the rather, because they are faithful and beloved, who are partakers of the benefit. These things teach and exhort. 1 Tim. 6:2
But the sure foundation of God standeth firm, having this seal: the Lord knoweth who are his; and let every one depart from iniquity who nameth the name of the Lord. 2 Tim. 2:19
These things speak and exhort and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee. Tit. 2:15
And let our men also learn to excel in good works for necessary uses: that they be not unfruitful. Tit. 3:14
And again, when he bringeth in the first begotten into the world, he saith: And let all the angels of God adore him. Heb. 1:6
¤ Therefore ought we more diligently to observe the things which we have heard lest perhaps we should let them slip. Heb. 2:1
¤ Let us fear therefore lest, the promise being left of entering into his rest, any of you should be thought to be wanting. Heb. 4:1
Let us hasten therefore to enter into that rest: lest any man fall into the same example of unbelief. Heb. 4:11
Having therefore a great high priest that hath passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God: let us hold fast our confession. Heb. 4:14
Let us go therefore with confidence to the throne of grace: that we may obtain mercy and find grace in seasonable aid. Heb. 4:16
¤ Wherefore, leaving the word of the beginning of Christ, let us go on to things more perfect: not laying again the foundation of penance from dead works and of faith towards God, Heb. 6:1
Let us draw near with a true heart, in fulness of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with clean water. Heb. 10:22
Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering (for he is faithful that hath promised): Heb. 10:23
And let us consider one another, to provoke unto charity and to good works: Heb. 10:24
¤ And therefore we also having so great a cloud of witnesses over our head, laying aside every weight and sin which surrounds us, let us run by patience to the fight proposed to us: Heb. 12:1
Therefore, receiving an immoveable kingdom, we have grace: whereby let us serve, pleasing God, with fear and reverence. Heb. 12:28
¤ Let the charity of the brotherhood abide in you. Heb. 13:1
Let your manners be without covetousness, contented with such things as you have. For he hath said: I will not leave thee: neither will I forsake thee. Heb. 13:5

By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise always to God, that is to say, the fruit of lips confessing to his name. Heb. 13:15
But if any of you want wisdom, let him ask of God who giveth to all men abundantly and upbraideth not. And it shall be given him. Jas. 1:5

Is any man sick among you? Let him bring in the priests of the church and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. Jas. 5:14

Whose adorning, let it not be the outward plaiting of the hair, or the wearing of gold, or the putting on of apparel: 1 Pet. 3:3
For he that will love life and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile. 1 Pet. 3:10
