- Which things are said by an allegory. For these are the two testaments. The one from Mount Sina, engendering unto bondage, which is Agar. Gal. 4:24
- Who serve unto the example and shadow of heavenly things. As it was answered to Moses, when he was to finish the tabernacle: See (saith he) that thou make all things according to the pattern which was shewn thee on the mount. Heb. 8:5
- For they did not endure that which was said: and if so much as a beast shall touch the mount, it shall be stoned. Heb. 12:20
