- God they profess to know, and in the works they deny Him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work disapproved. Tit. 1:16
- Remind them to be subject to principalities and authorities, to obey rule, unto every good work to be ready, Tit. 3:1
- and, `Thou, at the beginning, Lord, the earth didst found, and a work of thy hands are the heavens; Heb. 1:10
