- wherefore, if victuals cause my brother to stumble, I may eat no flesh -- to the age -- that my brother I may not cause to stumble. 1 Cor. 8:13
- See Israel according to the flesh! are not those eating the sacrifices in the fellowship of the altar? 1 Cor. 10:18
- All flesh is not the same flesh, but there is one flesh of men, and another flesh of beasts, and another of fishes, and another of birds; 1 Cor. 15:39
- And this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood the reign of God is not able to inherit, nor doth the corruption inherit the incorruption; 1 Cor. 15:50

- so thoughtless are ye! having begun in the Spirit, now in the flesh do ye end? Gal. 3:3
- and ye have known that through infirmity of the flesh I did proclaim good news to you at the first, Gal. 4:13
- and my trial that is in my flesh ye did not despise nor reject, but as a messenger of God ye did receive me -- as Christ Jesus; Gal. 4:14
- but he who is of the maid-servant, according to flesh hath been, and he who is of the free-woman, through the promise; Gal. 4:23
- but as then he who was born according to the flesh did persecute him according to the spirit, so also now; Gal. 4:29
- For ye -- to freedom ye were called, brethren, only not the freedom for an occasion to the flesh, but through the love serve ye one another, Gal. 5:13
- And I say: In the Spirit walk ye, and the desire of the flesh ye may not complete; Gal. 5:16
- for the flesh doth desire contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit contrary to the flesh, and these are opposed one to another, that the things that ye may will -- these ye may not do; Gal. 5:17

- and those who are Christ's, the flesh did crucify with the affections, and the desires; Gal. 5:24

- as many as are willing to make a good appearance in the flesh, these constrain you to be circumcised -- only that for the cross of the Christ they may not be persecuted, Gal. 6:12
- for neither do those circumcised themselves keep the law, but they wish you to be circumcised, that in your flesh they may glory. Gal. 6:13
- among whom also we all did walk once in the desires of our flesh, doing the wishes of the flesh and of the thoughts, and were by nature children of wrath -- as also the others, Eph. 2:3
- Wherefore, remember, that ye were once the nations in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that called Circumcision in the flesh made by hands, Eph. 2:11
- the enmity in his flesh, the law of the commands in ordinances having done away, that the two he might create in himself into one new man, making peace, Eph. 2:15
- for no one ever his own flesh did hate, but doth nourish and cherish it, as also the Lord -- the assembly, Eph. 5:29

- for we are the circumcision, who by the Spirit are serving God, and glorying in Christ Jesus, and in flesh having no trust, Phil. 3:3
