1:10Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.
1:11For it hath been declared unto me of you, my brethren, by them which are of the house of Chloe, that there are contentions among you.
1:12Now this I say, that every one of you saith, I am of Paul; and I of Apollos; and I of Cephas; and I of Christ.
1:13Is Christ divided? was Paul crucified for you? or were ye baptized in the name of Paul?
5:1It is reported commonly that there is fornication among you, and such fornication as is not so much as named among the Gentiles, that one should have his father's wife.
5:2And ye are puffed up, and have not rather mourned, that he that hath done this deed might be taken away from among you.
5:3For I verily, as absent in body, but present in spirit, have judged already, as though I were present, concerning him that hath so done this deed,
5:4In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when ye are gathered together, and my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ,
5:5To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.
6:1Dare any of you, having a matter against another, go to law before the unjust, and not before the saints?
6:2Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters?
6:3Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life?
6:4If then ye have judgments of things pertaining to this life, set them to judge who are least esteemed in the church.
6:5I speak to your shame. Is it so, that there is not a wise man among you? no, not one that shall be able to judge between his brethren?
6:6But brother goeth to law with brother, and that before the unbelievers.
6:7Now therefore there is utterly a fault among you, because ye go to law one with another. Why do ye not rather take wrong? why do ye not rather suffer yourselves to be defrauded?
6:8Nay, ye do wrong, and defraud, and that your brethren.
11:17Now in this that I declare unto you I praise you not, that ye come together not for the better, but for the worse.
11:18For first of all, when ye come together in the church, I hear that there be divisions among you; and I partly believe it.
11:19For there must be also heresies among you, that they which are approved may be made manifest among you.
11:20When ye come together therefore into one place, this is not to eat the Lord's supper.
11:21For in eating every one taketh before other his own supper: and one is hungry, and another is drunken.
11:22What? have ye not houses to eat and to drink in? or despise ye the church of God, and shame them that have not? What shall I say to you? shall I praise you in this? I praise you not.
