THE HOLY BIBLE Authorized King James

Exodus (Author Moses)

18:16When they have a matter, they come unto me; and I judge between one and another, and I do make them know the statutes of God, and his laws.

18:20And thou shalt teach them ordinances and laws, and shalt shew them the way wherein they must walk, and the work that they must do.

18:21Moreover thou shalt provide out of all the people able men, such as fear God, men of truth, hating covetousness; and place such over them, to be rulers of thousands, and rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens:

23:3Neither shalt thou countenance a poor man in his cause.

23:6Thou shalt not wrest the judgment of thy poor in his cause.

23:7Keep thee far from a false matter; and the innocent and righteous slay thou not: for I will not justify the wicked.

23:9Also thou shalt not oppress a stranger: for ye know the heart of a stranger, seeing ye were strangers in the land of Egypt.
