THE HOLY BIBLE Authorized King James

Genesis (Author Moses)

24:1And Abraham was old, and well stricken in age: and the LORD had blessed Abraham in all things.

24:2And Abraham said unto his eldest servant of his house, that ruled over all that he had, Put, I pray thee, thy hand under my thigh:

24:3And I will make thee swear by the LORD, the God of heaven, and the God of the earth, that thou shalt not take a wife unto my son of the daughters of the Canaanites, among whom I dwell:

24:4But thou shalt go unto my country, and to my kindred, and take a wife unto my son Isaac.

28:1And Isaac called Jacob, and blessed him, and charged him, and said unto him, Thou shalt not take a wife of the daughters of Canaan.

28:2Arise, go to Padanaram, to the house of Bethuel thy mother's father; and take thee a wife from thence of the daughters of Laban thy mother's brother.
