THE HOLY BIBLE Authorized King James

Genesis (Author Moses)

37:3Now Israel loved Joseph more than all his children, because he was the son of his old age: and he made him a coat of many colours.

37:4And when his brethren saw that their father loved him more than all his brethren, they hated him, and could not speak peaceably unto him.

42:4But Benjamin, Joseph's brother, Jacob sent not with his brethren; for he said, Lest peradventure mischief befall him.

42:38And he said, My son shall not go down with you; for his brother is dead, and he is left alone: if mischief befall him by the way in the which ye go, then shall ye bring down my gray hairs with sorrow to the grave.

43:13Take also your brother, and arise, go again unto the man:

43:14And God Almighty give you mercy before the man, that he may send away your other brother, and Benjamin. If I be bereaved of my children, I am bereaved.

45:26And told him, saying, Joseph is yet alive, and he is governor over all the land of Egypt. And Jacob's heart fainted, for he believed them not.

45:27And they told him all the words of Joseph, which he had said unto them: and when he saw the wagons which Joseph had sent to carry him, the spirit of Jacob their father revived:

45:28And Israel said, It is enough; Joseph my son is yet alive: I will go and see him before I die.

48:10Now the eyes of Israel were dim for age, so that he could not see. And he brought them near unto him; and he kissed them, and embraced them.

48:11And Israel said unto Joseph, I had not thought to see thy face: and, lo, God hath shewed me also thy seed.
