THE HOLY BIBLE Authorized King James

Psalms (Author Moses, David, Solomon, Asaph, Heman, Ethan, sons of Korah, compiled by Ezra)

15:1LORD, who shall abide in thy tabernacle? who shall dwell in thy holy hill?

15:2He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart.

15:3He that backbiteth not with his tongue, nor doeth evil to his neighbour, nor taketh up a reproach against his neighbour.

15:4In whose eyes a vile person is contemned; but he honoureth them that fear the LORD. He that sweareth to his own hurt, and changeth not.

15:5He that putteth not out his money to usury, nor taketh reward against the innocent. He that doeth these things shall never be moved.

16:0Michtam of David.

16:1Preserve me, O God: for in thee do I put my trust.

16:2O my soul, thou hast said unto the LORD, Thou art my Lord: my goodness extendeth not to thee;

16:3But to the saints that are in the earth, and to the excellent, in whom is all my delight.

16:4Their sorrows shall be multiplied that hasten after another god: their drink offerings of blood will I not offer, nor take up their names into my lips.

16:5The LORD is the portion of mine inheritance and of my cup: thou maintainest my lot.

16:6The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places; yea, I have a goodly heritage.

16:7I will bless the LORD, who hath given me counsel: my reins also instruct me in the night seasons.

16:8I have set the LORD always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.

16:9Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoiceth: my flesh also shall rest in hope.

16:10For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.

16:11Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.

24:1The earth is the LORD'S, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.

24:2For he hath founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the floods.

24:3Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in his holy place?

24:4He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.

24:5He shall receive the blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from the God of his salvation.

24:6This is the generation of them that seek him, that seek thy face, O Jacob. Selah.

24:7Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.

24:8Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle.

24:9Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.

24:10Who is this King of glory? The LORD of hosts, he is the King of glory. Selah.

101:1I will sing of mercy and judgment: unto thee, O LORD, will I sing.

101:2I will behave myself wisely in a perfect way. O when wilt thou come unto me? I will walk within my house with a perfect heart.

101:3I will set no wicked thing before mine eyes: I hate the work of them that turn aside; it shall not cleave to me.

101:4A froward heart shall depart from me: I will not know a wicked person.

101:5Whoso privily slandereth his neighbour, him will I cut off: him that hath an high look and a proud heart will not I suffer.

101:6Mine eyes shall be upon the faithful of the land, that they may dwell with me: he that walketh in a perfect way, he shall serve me.

101:7He that worketh deceit shall not dwell within my house: he that telleth lies shall not tarry in my sight.

101:8I will early destroy all the wicked of the land; that I may cut off all wicked doers from the city of the LORD.

138:1I will praise thee with my whole heart: before the gods will I sing praise unto thee.

138:2I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.

138:3In the day when I cried thou answeredst me, and strengthenedst me with strength in my soul.

138:4All the kings of the earth shall praise thee, O LORD, when they hear the words of thy mouth.

138:5Yea, they shall sing in the ways of the LORD: for great is the glory of the LORD.

138:6Though the LORD be high, yet hath he respect unto the lowly: but the proud he knoweth afar off.

138:7Though I walk in the midst of trouble, thou wilt revive me: thou shalt stretch forth thine hand against the wrath of mine enemies, and thy right hand shall save me.

138:8The LORD will perfect that which concerneth me: thy mercy, O LORD, endureth for ever: forsake not the works of thine own hands.
