15He made a pit, and digged it, and is fallen into the ditch which he made.16His mischief shall return upon his own head, and his violent dealing shall come down upon his own pate.

2He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings.

6They have prepared a net for my steps; my soul is bowed down: they have digged a pit before me, into the midst whereof they are fallen themselves. Selah.

15Let not the waterflood overflow me, neither let the deep swallow me up, and let not the pit shut her mouth upon me.

85The proud have digged pits for me, which are not after thy law.
