THE HOLY BIBLE Authorized King James

1 Kings (Author Compiled by Isaiah and Jeremiah from records of Nathan, Gad, Iddo, Ahijah, Jehu and others.)

8:10And it came to pass, when the priests were come out of the holy place, that the cloud filled the house of the LORD,

8:11So that the priests could not stand to minister because of the cloud: for the glory of the LORD had filled the house of the LORD.

8:13I have surely built thee an house to dwell in, a settled place for thee to abide in for ever.

9:3And the LORD said unto him, I have heard thy prayer and thy supplication, that thou hast made before me: I have hallowed this house, which thou hast built, to put my name there for ever; and mine eyes and mine heart shall be there perpetually.

2 Kings (Author Compiled by Isaiah and Jeremiah from records of Nathan, Gad, Iddo, Ahijah, Jehu and others.)

21:7And he set a graven image of the grove that he had made in the house, of which the LORD said to David, and to Solomon his son, In this house, and in Jerusalem, which I have chosen out of all tribes of Israel, will I put my name for ever:

1 Chronicles (Author Compiled by Isaiah and Ezra from records of Nathan, Gad, Iddo, Ahijah, Jehu and others.)

29:1Furthermore David the king said unto all the congregation, Solomon my son, whom alone God hath chosen, is yet young and tender, and the work is great: for the palace is not for man, but for the LORD God.

2 Chronicles (Author Compiled by Isaiah and Ezra from records of Nathan, Gad, Iddo, Ahijah, Jehu and others.)

5:13It came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the LORD; and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of musick, and praised the LORD, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the LORD;

5:14So that the priests could not stand to minister by reason of the cloud: for the glory of the LORD had filled the house of God.

7:1Now when Solomon had made an end of praying, the fire came down from heaven, and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices; and the glory of the LORD filled the house.

7:2And the priests could not enter into the house of the LORD, because the glory of the LORD had filled the LORD'S house.

7:3And when all the children of Israel saw how the fire came down, and the glory of the LORD upon the house, they bowed themselves with their faces to the ground upon the pavement, and worshipped, and praised the LORD, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever.

7:16For now have I chosen and sanctified this house, that my name may be there for ever: and mine eyes and mine heart shall be there perpetually.

Ezekiel (Author Ezekiel)

10:3Now the cherubims stood on the right side of the house, when the man went in; and the cloud filled the inner court.

10:4Then the glory of the LORD went up from the cherub, and stood over the threshold of the house; and the house was filled with the cloud, and the court was full of the brightness of the LORD'S glory.

Micah (Author Micah)

1:2Hear, all ye people; hearken, O earth, and all that therein is: and let the Lord GOD be witness against you, the Lord from his holy temple.
