11:31The God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which is blessed for evermore, knoweth that I lie not.
11:32In Damascus the governor under Aretas the king kept the city of the Damascenes with a garrison, desirous to apprehend me:
11:33And through a window in a basket was I let down by the wall, and escaped his hands.
1:21Afterwards I came into the regions of Syria and Cilicia;
1:22And was unknown by face unto the churches of Judaea which were in Christ:
1:23But they had heard only, That he which persecuted us in times past now preacheth the faith which once he destroyed.
1:24And they glorified God in me.
1:8Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner: but be thou partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God;
1:16The Lord give mercy unto the house of Onesiphorus; for he oft refreshed me, and was not ashamed of my chain:
2:9Wherein I suffer trouble, as an evil doer, even unto bonds; but the word of God is not bound.
4:16At my first answer no man stood with me, but all men forsook me: I pray God that it may not be laid to their charge.
4:17Notwithstanding the Lord stood with me, and strengthened me; that by me the preaching might be fully known, and that all the Gentiles might hear: and I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion.
