20:16Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.
23:1Thou shalt not raise a false report: put not thine hand with the wicked to be an unrighteous witness.
6:2If a soul sin, and commit a trespass against the LORD, and lie unto his neighbour in that which was delivered him to keep, or in fellowship, or in a thing taken away by violence, or hath deceived his neighbour;
6:3Or have found that which was lost, and lieth concerning it, and sweareth falsely; in any of all these that a man doeth, sinning therein:
6:4Then it shall be, because he hath sinned, and is guilty, that he shall restore that which he took violently away, or the thing which he hath deceitfully gotten, or that which was delivered him to keep, or the lost thing which he found,
6:5Or all that about which he hath sworn falsely; he shall even restore it in the principal, and shall add the fifth part more thereto, and give it unto him to whom it appertaineth, in the day of his trespass offering.
6:6And he shall bring his trespass offering unto the LORD, a ram without blemish out of the flock, with thy estimation, for a trespass offering, unto the priest:
6:7And the priest shall make an atonement for him before the LORD: and it shall be forgiven him for any thing of all that he hath done in trespassing therein.
19:11Ye shall not steal, neither deal falsely, neither lie one to another.
19:12And ye shall not swear by my name falsely, neither shalt thou profane the name of thy God: I am the LORD.
19:16Thou shalt not go up and down as a talebearer among thy people: neither shalt thou stand against the blood of thy neighbour: I am the LORD.
13:4But ye are forgers of lies, ye are all physicians of no value.
21:34How then comfort ye me in vain, seeing in your answers there remaineth falsehood?
27:4My lips shall not speak wickedness, nor my tongue utter deceit.
31:5If I have walked with vanity, or if my foot hath hasted to deceit;
31:6Let me be weighed in an even balance, that God may know mine integrity.
31:33If I covered my transgressions as Adam, by hiding mine iniquity in my bosom:
36:4For truly my words shall not be false: he that is perfect in knowledge is with thee.
5:6Thou shalt destroy them that speak leasing: the LORD will abhor the bloody and deceitful man.
5:9For there is no faithfulness in their mouth; their inward part is very wickedness; their throat is an open sepulchre; they flatter with their tongue.
10:7His mouth is full of cursing and deceit and fraud: under his tongue is mischief and vanity.
12:2They speak vanity every one with his neighbour: with flattering lips and with a double heart do they speak.
12:3The LORD shall cut off all flattering lips, and the tongue that speaketh proud things:
28:3Draw me not away with the wicked, and with the workers of iniquity, which speak peace to their neighbours, but mischief is in their hearts.
31:18Let the lying lips be put to silence; which speak grievous things proudly and contemptuously against the righteous.
34:13Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking guile.
36:3The words of his mouth are iniquity and deceit: he hath left off to be wise, and to do good.
50:19Thou givest thy mouth to evil, and thy tongue frameth deceit.
50:20Thou sittest and speakest against thy brother; thou slanderest thine own mother's son.
52:2Thy tongue deviseth mischiefs; like a sharp razor, working deceitfully.
52:3Thou lovest evil more than good; and lying rather than to speak righteousness. Selah.
52:4Thou lovest all devouring words, O thou deceitful tongue.
52:5God shall likewise destroy thee for ever, he shall take thee away, and pluck thee out of thy dwelling place, and root thee out of the land of the living. Selah.
55:21The words of his mouth were smoother than butter, but war was in his heart: his words were softer than oil, yet were they drawn swords.
55:23But thou, O God, shalt bring them down into the pit of destruction: bloody and deceitful men shall not live out half their days; but I will trust in thee.
58:3The wicked are estranged from the womb: they go astray as soon as they be born, speaking lies.
59:12For the sin of their mouth and the words of their lips let them even be taken in their pride: and for cursing and lying which they speak.
62:4They only consult to cast him down from his excellency: they delight in lies: they bless with their mouth, but they curse inwardly. Selah.
63:11But the king shall rejoice in God; every one that sweareth by him shall glory: but the mouth of them that speak lies shall be stopped.
101:5Whoso privily slandereth his neighbour, him will I cut off: him that hath an high look and a proud heart will not I suffer.
101:7He that worketh deceit shall not dwell within my house: he that telleth lies shall not tarry in my sight.
109:2For the mouth of the wicked and the mouth of the deceitful are opened against me: they have spoken against me with a lying tongue.
116:11I said in my haste, All men are liars.
119:29Remove from me the way of lying: and grant me thy law graciously.
119:69The proud have forged a lie against me: but I will keep thy precepts with my whole heart.
119:163I hate and abhor lying: but thy law do I love.
120:2Deliver my soul, O LORD, from lying lips, and from a deceitful tongue.
120:3What shall be given unto thee? or what shall be done unto thee, thou false tongue?
120:4Sharp arrows of the mighty, with coals of juniper.
144:8Whose mouth speaketh vanity, and their right hand is a right hand of falsehood.
144:11Rid me, and deliver me from the hand of strange children, whose mouth speaketh vanity, and their right hand is a right hand of falsehood:
2:12To deliver thee from the way of the evil man, from the man that speaketh froward things;
2:13Who leave the paths of uprightness, to walk in the ways of darkness;
2:14Who rejoice to do evil, and delight in the frowardness of the wicked;
2:15Whose ways are crooked, and they froward in their paths:
3:3Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart:
6:12A naughty person, a wicked man, walketh with a froward mouth.
6:13He winketh with his eyes, he speaketh with his feet, he teacheth with his fingers;
6:17A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,
6:18An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief,
6:19A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.
10:9He that walketh uprightly walketh surely: but he that perverteth his ways shall be known.
10:10He that winketh with the eye causeth sorrow: but a prating fool shall fall.
10:18He that hideth hatred with lying lips, and he that uttereth a slander, is a fool.
10:31The mouth of the just bringeth forth wisdom: but the froward tongue shall be cut out.
11:9An hypocrite with his mouth destroyeth his neighbour: but through knowledge shall the just be delivered.
12:17He that speaketh truth sheweth forth righteousness: but a false witness deceit.
12:19The lip of truth shall be established for ever: but a lying tongue is but for a moment.
12:20Deceit is in the heart of them that imagine evil: but to the counsellors of peace is joy.
12:22Lying lips are abomination to the LORD: but they that deal truly are his delight.
13:5A righteous man hateth lying: but a wicked man is loathsome, and cometh to shame.
14:5A faithful witness will not lie: but a false witness will utter lies.
14:8The wisdom of the prudent is to understand his way: but the folly of fools is deceit.
14:25A true witness delivereth souls: but a deceitful witness speaketh lies.
17:4A wicked doer giveth heed to false lips; and a liar giveth ear to a naughty tongue.
17:7Excellent speech becometh not a fool: much less do lying lips a prince.
19:5A false witness shall not be unpunished, and he that speaketh lies shall not escape.
19:9A false witness shall not be unpunished, and he that speaketh lies shall perish.
19:22The desire of a man is his kindness: and a poor man is better than a liar.
19:28An ungodly witness scorneth judgment: and the mouth of the wicked devoureth iniquity.
20:17Bread of deceit is sweet to a man; but afterwards his mouth shall be filled with gravel.
21:6The getting of treasures by a lying tongue is a vanity tossed to and fro of them that seek death.
26:18As a mad man who casteth firebrands, arrows, and death,
26:19So is the man that deceiveth his neighbour, and saith, Am not I in sport?
26:24He that hateth dissembleth with his lips, and layeth up deceit within him;
26:25When he speaketh fair, believe him not: for there are seven abominations in his heart.
26:26Whose hatred is covered by deceit, his wickedness shall be shewed before the whole congregation.
26:28A lying tongue hateth those that are afflicted by it; and a flattering mouth worketh ruin.
27:14He that blesseth his friend with a loud voice, rising early in the morning, it shall be counted a curse to him.
5:6Suffer not thy mouth to cause thy flesh to sin; neither say thou before the angel, that it was an error: wherefore should God be angry at thy voice, and destroy the work of thine hands?
28:15Because ye have said, We have made a covenant with death, and with hell are we at agreement; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, it shall not come unto us: for we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood have we hid ourselves:
32:7The instruments also of the churl are evil: he deviseth wicked devices to destroy the poor with lying words, even when the needy speaketh right.
57:11And of whom hast thou been afraid or feared, that thou hast lied, and hast not remembered me, nor laid it to thy heart? have not I held my peace even of old, and thou fearest me not?
59:3For your hands are defiled with blood, and your fingers with iniquity; your lips have spoken lies, your tongue hath muttered perverseness.
59:4None calleth for justice, nor any pleadeth for truth: they trust in vanity, and speak lies; they conceive mischief, and bring forth iniquity.
59:12For our transgressions are multiplied before thee, and our sins testify against us: for our transgressions are with us; and as for our iniquities, we know them;
59:13In transgressing and lying against the LORD, and departing away from our God, speaking oppression and revolt, conceiving and uttering from the heart words of falsehood.
63:8For he said, Surely they are my people, children that will not lie: so he was their Saviour.
7:8Behold, ye trust in lying words, that cannot profit.
7:28But thou shalt say unto them, This is a nation that obeyeth not the voice of the LORD their God, nor receiveth correction: truth is perished, and is cut off from their mouth.
9:3And they bend their tongues like their bow for lies: but they are not valiant for the truth upon the earth; for they proceed from evil to evil, and they know not me, saith the LORD.
9:5And they will deceive every one his neighbour, and will not speak the truth: they have taught their tongue to speak lies, and weary themselves to commit iniquity.
9:6Thine habitation is in the midst of deceit; through deceit they refuse to know me, saith the LORD.
9:8Their tongue is as an arrow shot out; it speaketh deceit: one speaketh peaceably to his neighbour with his mouth, but in heart he layeth his wait.
12:6For even thy brethren, and the house of thy father, even they have dealt treacherously with thee; yea, they have called a multitude after thee: believe them not, though they speak fair words unto thee.
50:36A sword is upon the liars; and they shall dote: a sword is upon her mighty men; and they shall be dismayed.
22:9In thee are men that carry tales to shed blood: and in thee they eat upon the mountains: in the midst of thee they commit lewdness.
4:1Hear the word of the LORD, ye children of Israel: for the LORD hath a controversy with the inhabitants of the land, because there is no truth, nor mercy, nor knowledge of God in the land.
4:2By swearing, and lying, and killing, and stealing, and committing adultery, they break out, and blood toucheth blood.
1:7All the men of thy confederacy have brought thee even to the border: the men that were at peace with thee have deceived thee, and prevailed against thee; they that eat thy bread have laid a wound under thee: there is none understanding in him.
6:12For the rich men thereof are full of violence, and the inhabitants thereof have spoken lies, and their tongue is deceitful in their mouth.
3:1Woe to the bloody city! it is all full of lies and robbery; the prey departeth not;
3:13The remnant of Israel shall not do iniquity, nor speak lies; neither shall a deceitful tongue be found in their mouth: for they shall feed and lie down, and none shall make them afraid.
25:44Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?
25:45Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.
25:46And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.
8:44Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
8:45And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.
4:25Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another.
4:29Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.
3:9Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds;
1:9Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers,
1:10For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine;
4:2Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;
3:10For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile:
3:16Having a good conscience; that, whereas they speak evil of you, as of evildoers, they may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good conversation in Christ.
21:8But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
21:27And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life.
22:15For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.
