1:1In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
1:2And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
1:3And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
1:4And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.
1:5And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.
1:6And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.
1:7And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so.
1:8And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day.
1:9And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so.
1:10And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that it was good.
1:11And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.
1:12And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
1:13And the evening and the morning were the third day.
1:14And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:
1:15And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so.
1:16And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.
1:17And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth,
1:18And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good.
1:19And the evening and the morning were the fourth day.
1:20And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven.
1:21And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
1:22And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth.
1:23And the evening and the morning were the fifth day.
1:24And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so.
1:25And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
1:26And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
1:27So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
1:28And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
1:31And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.
2:1Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.
2:2And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.
2:3And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.
2:4These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that the LORD God made the earth and the heavens,
2:5And every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew: for the LORD God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to till the ground.
2:6But there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground.
2:7And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
2:8And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed.
2:9And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.
2:10And a river went out of Eden to water the garden; and from thence it was parted, and became into four heads.
2:11The name of the first is Pison: that is it which compasseth the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold;
2:12And the gold of that land is good: there is bdellium and the onyx stone.
2:13And the name of the second river is Gihon: the same is it that compasseth the whole land of Ethiopia.
2:14And the name of the third river is Hiddekel: that is it which goeth toward the east of Assyria. And the fourth river is Euphrates.
2:15And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.
2:16And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:
2:17But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.
2:18And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.
2:19And out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof.
2:20And Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field; but for Adam there was not found an help meet for him.
2:21And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof;
2:22And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.
2:23And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.
2:24Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.
2:25And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed.
5:1This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created man, in the likeness of God made he him;
5:2Male and female created he them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created.
9:6Whoso sheddeth man's blood, by man shall his blood be shed: for in the image of God made he man.
20:11For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.
2:8He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth up the beggar from the dunghill, to set them among princes, and to make them inherit the throne of glory: for the pillars of the earth are the LORD'S, and he hath set the world upon them.
19:15And Hezekiah prayed before the LORD, and said, O LORD God of Israel, which dwellest between the cherubims, thou art the God, even thou alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth; thou hast made heaven and earth.
16:26For all the gods of the people are idols: but the LORD made the heavens.
9:6Thou, even thou, art LORD alone; thou hast made heaven, the heaven of heavens, with all their host, the earth, and all things that are therein, the seas, and all that is therein, and thou preservest them all; and the host of heaven worshippeth thee.
9:8Which alone spreadeth out the heavens, and treadeth upon the waves of the sea.
9:9Which maketh Arcturus, Orion, and Pleiades, and the chambers of the south.
10:3Is it good unto thee that thou shouldest oppress, that thou shouldest despise the work of thine hands, and shine upon the counsel of the wicked?
10:8Thine hands have made me and fashioned me together round about; yet thou dost destroy me.
12:7But ask now the beasts, and they shall teach thee; and the fowls of the air, and they shall tell thee:
12:8Or speak to the earth, and it shall teach thee: and the fishes of the sea shall declare unto thee.
12:9Who knoweth not in all these that the hand of the LORD hath wrought this?
26:7He stretcheth out the north over the empty place, and hangeth the earth upon nothing.
26:8He bindeth up the waters in his thick clouds; and the cloud is not rent under them.
26:9He holdeth back the face of his throne, and spreadeth his cloud upon it.
26:10He hath compassed the waters with bounds, until the day and night come to an end.
26:11The pillars of heaven tremble and are astonished at his reproof.
26:12He divideth the sea with his power, and by his understanding he smiteth through the proud.
26:13By his spirit he hath garnished the heavens; his hand hath formed the crooked serpent.
28:23God understandeth the way thereof, and he knoweth the place thereof.
28:24For he looketh to the ends of the earth, and seeth under the whole heaven;
28:25To make the weight for the winds; and he weigheth the waters by measure.
28:26When he made a decree for the rain, and a way for the lightning of the thunder:
37:16Dost thou know the balancings of the clouds, the wondrous works of him which is perfect in knowledge?
37:18Hast thou with him spread out the sky, which is strong, and as a molten looking glass?
38:4Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding.
38:5Who hath laid the measures thereof, if thou knowest? or who hath stretched the line upon it?
38:6Whereupon are the foundations thereof fastened? or who laid the corner stone thereof;
38:7When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?
38:8Or who shut up the sea with doors, when it brake forth, as if it had issued out of the womb?
38:9When I made the cloud the garment thereof, and thick darkness a swaddlingband for it,
38:10And brake up for it my decreed place, and set bars and doors,
38:11And said, Hitherto shalt thou come, but no further: and here shall thy proud waves be stayed?
38:12Hast thou commanded the morning since thy days; and caused the dayspring to know his place;
38:13That it might take hold of the ends of the earth, that the wicked might be shaken out of it?
38:14It is turned as clay to the seal; and they stand as a garment.
38:15And from the wicked their light is withholden, and the high arm shall be broken.
38:16Hast thou entered into the springs of the sea? or hast thou walked in the search of the depth?
38:17Have the gates of death been opened unto thee? or hast thou seen the doors of the shadow of death?
38:18Hast thou perceived the breadth of the earth? declare if thou knowest it all.
38:19Where is the way where light dwelleth? and as for darkness, where is the place thereof,
38:20That thou shouldest take it to the bound thereof, and that thou shouldest know the paths to the house thereof?
38:21Knowest thou it, because thou wast then born? or because the number of thy days is great?
38:22Hast thou entered into the treasures of the snow? or hast thou seen the treasures of the hail,
38:23Which I have reserved against the time of trouble, against the day of battle and war?
38:24By what way is the light parted, which scattereth the east wind upon the earth?
38:25Who hath divided a watercourse for the overflowing of waters, or a way for the lightning of thunder;
38:26To cause it to rain on the earth, where no man is; on the wilderness, wherein there is no man;
38:27To satisfy the desolate and waste ground; and to cause the bud of the tender herb to spring forth?
38:28Hath the rain a father? or who hath begotten the drops of dew?
38:29Out of whose womb came the ice? and the hoary frost of heaven, who hath gendered it?
38:30The waters are hid as with a stone, and the face of the deep is frozen.
38:31Canst thou bind the sweet influences of Pleiades, or loose the bands of Orion?
38:32Canst thou bring forth Mazzaroth in his season? or canst thou guide Arcturus with his sons?
38:33Knowest thou the ordinances of heaven? canst thou set the dominion thereof in the earth?
38:34Canst thou lift up thy voice to the clouds, that abundance of waters may cover thee?
38:35Canst thou send lightnings, that they may go, and say unto thee, Here we are?
38:36Who hath put wisdom in the inward parts? or who hath given understanding to the heart?
38:37Who can number the clouds in wisdom? or who can stay the bottles of heaven,
38:38When the dust groweth into hardness, and the clods cleave fast together?
8:3When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained;
19:1The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.
19:4Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun,
24:1The earth is the LORD'S, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.
24:2For he hath founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the floods.
33:6By the word of the LORD were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth.
33:7He gathereth the waters of the sea together as an heap: he layeth up the depth in storehouses.
33:9For he spake, and it was done; he commanded, and it stood fast.
65:6Which by his strength setteth fast the mountains; being girded with power:
74:16The day is thine, the night also is thine: thou hast prepared the light and the sun.
74:17Thou hast set all the borders of the earth: thou hast made summer and winter.
78:69And he built his sanctuary like high palaces, like the earth which he hath established for ever.
89:11The heavens are thine, the earth also is thine: as for the world and the fulness thereof, thou hast founded them.
89:12The north and the south thou hast created them: Tabor and Hermon shall rejoice in thy name.
89:47Remember how short my time is: wherefore hast thou made all men in vain?
90:2Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God.
95:4In his hand are the deep places of the earth: the strength of the hills is his also.
95:5The sea is his, and he made it: and his hands formed the dry land.
96:5For all the gods of the nations are idols: but the LORD made the heavens.
102:25Of old hast thou laid the foundation of the earth: and the heavens are the work of thy hands.
103:22Bless the LORD, all his works in all places of his dominion: bless the LORD, O my soul.
104:2Who coverest thyself with light as with a garment: who stretchest out the heavens like a curtain:
104:3Who layeth the beams of his chambers in the waters: who maketh the clouds his chariot: who walketh upon the wings of the wind:
104:5Who laid the foundations of the earth, that it should not be removed for ever.
104:6Thou coveredst it with the deep as with a garment: the waters stood above the mountains.
104:24O LORD, how manifold are thy works! in wisdom hast thou made them all: the earth is full of thy riches.
104:30Thou sendest forth thy spirit, they are created: and thou renewest the face of the earth.
104:31The glory of the LORD shall endure for ever: the LORD shall rejoice in his works.
119:90Thy faithfulness is unto all generations: thou hast established the earth, and it abideth.
119:91They continue this day according to thine ordinances: for all are thy servants.
121:2My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth.
124:8Our help is in the name of the LORD, who made heaven and earth.
136:5To him that by wisdom made the heavens: for his mercy endureth for ever.
136:6To him that stretched out the earth above the waters: for his mercy endureth for ever.
136:7To him that made great lights: for his mercy endureth for ever:
136:8The sun to rule by day: for his mercy endureth for ever:
136:9The moon and stars to rule by night: for his mercy endureth for ever.
146:5Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the LORD his God:
146:6Which made heaven, and earth, the sea, and all that therein is: which keepeth truth for ever:
148:5Let them praise the name of the LORD: for he commanded, and they were created.
148:6He hath also stablished them for ever and ever: he hath made a decree which shall not pass.
3:19The LORD by wisdom hath founded the earth; by understanding hath he established the heavens.
8:26While as yet he had not made the earth, nor the fields, nor the highest part of the dust of the world.
8:27When he prepared the heavens, I was there: when he set a compass upon the face of the depth:
8:28When he established the clouds above: when he strengthened the fountains of the deep:
8:29When he gave to the sea his decree, that the waters should not pass his commandment: when he appointed the foundations of the earth:
16:4The LORD hath made all things for himself: yea, even the wicked for the day of evil.
22:2The rich and poor meet together: the LORD is the maker of them all.
26:10The great God that formed all things both rewardeth the fool, and rewardeth transgressors.
30:4Who hath ascended up into heaven, or descended? who hath gathered the wind in his fists? who hath bound the waters in a garment? who hath established all the ends of the earth? what is his name, and what is his son's name, if thou canst tell?
3:11He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end.
7:29Lo, this only have I found, that God hath made man upright; but they have sought out many inventions.
11:5As thou knowest not what is the way of the spirit, nor how the bones do grow in the womb of her that is with child: even so thou knowest not the works of God who maketh all.
17:7At that day shall a man look to his Maker, and his eyes shall have respect to the Holy One of Israel.
37:16O LORD of hosts, God of Israel, that dwellest between the cherubims, thou art the God, even thou alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth: thou hast made heaven and earth.
40:12Who hath measured the waters in the hollow of his hand, and meted out heaven with the span, and comprehended the dust of the earth in a measure, and weighed the mountains in scales, and the hills in a balance?
40:26Lift up your eyes on high, and behold who hath created these things, that bringeth out their host by number: he calleth them all by names by the greatness of his might, for that he is strong in power; not one faileth.
40:28Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding.
42:5Thus saith God the LORD, he that created the heavens, and stretched them out; he that spread forth the earth, and that which cometh out of it; he that giveth breath unto the people upon it, and spirit to them that walk therein:
44:24Thus saith the LORD, thy redeemer, and he that formed thee from the womb, I am the LORD that maketh all things; that stretcheth forth the heavens alone; that spreadeth abroad the earth by myself;
45:7I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
45:12I have made the earth, and created man upon it: I, even my hands, have stretched out the heavens, and all their host have I commanded.
45:18For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the LORD; and there is none else.
48:13Mine hand also hath laid the foundation of the earth, and my right hand hath spanned the heavens: when I call unto them, they stand up together.
51:13And forgettest the LORD thy maker, that hath stretched forth the heavens, and laid the foundations of the earth; and hast feared continually every day because of the fury of the oppressor, as if he were ready to destroy? and where is the fury of the oppressor?
51:16And I have put my words in thy mouth, and I have covered thee in the shadow of mine hand, that I may plant the heavens, and lay the foundations of the earth, and say unto Zion, Thou art my people.
66:2For all those things hath mine hand made, and all those things have been, saith the LORD: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word.
5:22Fear ye not me? saith the LORD: will ye not tremble at my presence, which have placed the sand for the bound of the sea by a perpetual decree, that it cannot pass it: and though the waves thereof toss themselves, yet can they not prevail; though they roar, yet can they not pass over it?
10:12He hath made the earth by his power, he hath established the world by his wisdom, and hath stretched out the heavens by his discretion.
10:13When he uttereth his voice, there is a multitude of waters in the heavens, and he causeth the vapours to ascend from the ends of the earth; he maketh lightnings with rain, and bringeth forth the wind out of his treasures.
10:16The portion of Jacob is not like them: for he is the former of all things; and Israel is the rod of his inheritance: The LORD of hosts is his name.
27:5I have made the earth, the man and the beast that are upon the ground, by my great power and by my outstretched arm, and have given it unto whom it seemed meet unto me.
31:35Thus saith the LORD, which giveth the sun for a light by day, and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, which divideth the sea when the waves thereof roar; The LORD of hosts is his name:
32:17Ah Lord GOD! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee:
33:2Thus saith the LORD the maker thereof, the LORD that formed it, to establish it; the LORD is his name;
51:15He hath made the earth by his power, he hath established the world by his wisdom, and hath stretched out the heaven by his understanding.
51:16When he uttereth his voice, there is a multitude of waters in the heavens; and he causeth the vapours to ascend from the ends of the earth: he maketh lightnings with rain, and bringeth forth the wind out of his treasures.
51:19The portion of Jacob is not like them; for he is the former of all things: and Israel is the rod of his inheritance: the LORD of hosts is his name.
4:13For, lo, he that formeth the mountains, and createth the wind, and declareth unto man what is his thought, that maketh the morning darkness, and treadeth upon the high places of the earth, The LORD, The God of hosts, is his name.
5:8Seek him that maketh the seven stars and Orion, and turneth the shadow of death into the morning, and maketh the day dark with night: that calleth for the waters of the sea, and poureth them out upon the face of the earth: The LORD is his name:
9:6It is he that buildeth his stories in the heaven, and hath founded his troop in the earth; he that calleth for the waters of the sea, and poureth them out upon the face of the earth: The LORD is his name.
1:9And he said unto them, I am an Hebrew; and I fear the LORD, the God of heaven, which hath made the sea and the dry land.
12:1The burden of the word of the LORD for Israel, saith the LORD, which stretcheth forth the heavens, and layeth the foundation of the earth, and formeth the spirit of man within him.
10:6But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female.
13:19For in those days shall be affliction, such as was not from the beginning of the creation which God created unto this time, neither shall be.
4:24And when they heard that, they lifted up their voice to God with one accord, and said, Lord, thou art God, which hast made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all that in them is:
7:50Hath not my hand made all these things?
14:15And saying, Sirs, why do ye these things? We also are men of like passions with you, and preach unto you that ye should turn from these vanities unto the living God, which made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all things that are therein:
17:24God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands;
17:25Neither is worshipped with men's hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things;
17:26And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;
1:20For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
11:36For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen.
8:6But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.
11:12For as the woman is of the man, even so is the man also by the woman; but all things of God.
4:6For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
5:5Now he that hath wrought us for the selfsame thing is God, who also hath given unto us the earnest of the Spirit.
5:18And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;
3:9And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:
6:13I give thee charge in the sight of God, who quickeneth all things, and before Christ Jesus, who before Pontius Pilate witnessed a good confession;
1:1God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,
1:2Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;
2:10For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.
3:4For every house is builded by some man; but he that built all things is God.
11:3Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.
4:11Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.
10:6And sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that there should be time no longer:
14:7Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.
