THE HOLY BIBLE Authorized King James

Matthew (Author Matthew)

9:34But the Pharisees said, He casteth out devils through the prince of the devils.

10:25It is enough for the disciple that he be as his master, and the servant as his lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more shall they call them of his household?

12:2But when the Pharisees saw it, they said unto him, Behold, thy disciples do that which is not lawful to do upon the sabbath day.

12:3But he said unto them, Have ye not read what David did, when he was an hungred, and they that were with him;

12:4How he entered into the house of God, and did eat the shewbread, which was not lawful for him to eat, neither for them which were with him, but only for the priests?

12:5Or have ye not read in the law, how that on the sabbath days the priests in the temple profane the sabbath, and are blameless?

12:6But I say unto you, That in this place is one greater than the temple.

12:7But if ye had known what this meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice, ye would not have condemned the guiltless.

12:8For the Son of man is Lord even of the sabbath day.

12:9And when he was departed thence, he went into their synagogue:

12:10And, behold, there was a man which had his hand withered. And they asked him, saying, Is it lawful to heal on the sabbath days? that they might accuse him.

12:11And he said unto them, What man shall there be among you, that shall have one sheep, and if it fall into a pit on the sabbath day, will he not lay hold on it, and lift it out?

12:12How much then is a man better than a sheep? Wherefore it is lawful to do well on the sabbath days.

12:13Then saith he to the man, Stretch forth thine hand. And he stretched it forth; and it was restored whole, like as the other.

12:14Then the Pharisees went out, and held a council against him, how they might destroy him.

26:59Now the chief priests, and elders, and all the council, sought false witness against Jesus, to put him to death;

26:60But found none: yea, though many false witnesses came, yet found they none. At the last came two false witnesses,

26:61And said, This fellow said, I am able to destroy the temple of God, and to build it in three days.

Mark (Author John Mark)

3:22And the scribes which came down from Jerusalem said, He hath Beelzebub, and by the prince of the devils casteth he out devils.

14:53And they led Jesus away to the high priest: and with him were assembled all the chief priests and the elders and the scribes.

14:54And Peter followed him afar off, even into the palace of the high priest: and he sat with the servants, and warmed himself at the fire.

14:55And the chief priests and all the council sought for witness against Jesus to put him to death; and found none.

14:56For many bare false witness against him, but their witness agreed not together.

14:57And there arose certain, and bare false witness against him, saying,

14:58We heard him say, I will destroy this temple that is made with hands, and within three days I will build another made without hands.

14:59But neither so did their witness agree together.

14:60And the high priest stood up in the midst, and asked Jesus, saying, Answerest thou nothing? what is it which these witness against thee?

14:61But he held his peace, and answered nothing. Again the high priest asked him, and said unto him, Art thou the Christ, the Son of the Blessed?

14:62And Jesus said, I am: and ye shall see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.

14:63Then the high priest rent his clothes, and saith, What need we any further witnesses?

14:64Ye have heard the blasphemy: what think ye? And they all condemned him to be guilty of death.

14:65And some began to spit on him, and to cover his face, and to buffet him, and to say unto him, Prophesy: and the servants did strike him with the palms of their hands.

Luke (Author Luke)

23:2And they began to accuse him, saying, We found this fellow perverting the nation, and forbidding to give tribute to Caesar, saying that he himself is Christ a King.

John (Author John)

18:30They answered and said unto him, If he were not a malefactor, we would not have delivered him up unto thee.
