Our Changes

In addition to the HTML markup, awmach.org has made the following corrections to the reference work.

(corrections - s/b means "should be")

In all cases, English spelling has been changed to American spelling. Examples of these changes which were made, without respect to lower or upper case renderings, are:

English American
-ough -ow corrections
-our -or corrections
-ise -ize corrections
-sing -zing corrections
-ence -ense

We followed the Torrey capitalization constraints of He, His, Him, Himself, etcetera when referring to the Deity within a sentence. This was not done in most cases in the original electronic work, but was done in the printed version. Since these are difficult to change via a search and replace correction method, they are listed where noted.

There were occasional errors in the text itself. In addition, there were problems with some areas which had improper indentation. It is impossible at this point to tell if the indentation problems were with the original work or with the computer driven conversion process. They are noted for reference.

In addition, many scripture references had typographical errors in them. Any change seen was compared to the written copy to see if it was indeed a correction, or was a typographical error in the electronic copy. Some additional errors in the printed copy were also found and corrected. No corrected error was uncorrected just to make it match the printed copy.

     they had a later version.
     ADMINISTERED TO
      Only to professing believers Acts 2:38; Mt.3:6; Mk. 16:16;       Acts 8:12,37, 10:47,48 .
      Scriptures supporting infant baptism Pr. 30:6       Administered by immersing the whole body of the person in water Mt.3:16;
       Acts 8:38,39 I couldn't make any connection of Pr. 30:6 to infant baptism unless it would be
     to refute infant baptism since most all of the scriptures relating to baptism
     speak of repentance and believing prior to baptism.
